Whats up with the client hanging on start up ?

I haven't been able to get it to work since the the BSODs caused by the cpu overclock.

It happened to one of my mining rigs also. Windows 7 crashed and restarted while wallet was staking and now it hangs/crash at open. No even deleting everything and re-installing works. Any one knows whats causing this? I get this error every time I open it.

Description:

Are you seeing 5-10% cpu and 100+ mb memory usage while it is starting up ?

Try this :

- uninstall any 2005-2008 Microsoft Visual C++ and related apps
- run a windows error check
- backup the wallet and the .bak, delete the roaming folder and qt
- delete CLAM's registry folder located at HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/Clam and reboot
- if the client continues to hang after 1-3 attempts, delete the peers.dat file and try again

EDIT

Tbh.. I don't know what got the client running again. lol

Why they hell doesn't anyone seem to care about the unanswered questions regarding the premine and the block explorers ?

Poloniex has given me the "we're looking into it" a few times now.

What are the questions?

Premine was 5% or 5 Sync, clearly stated.

And explorer is here:

RECAP # 2
- MsCollec played a major roll in the Visacoin scam. --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=384097.0
- The original block explorer shows a 5 SYNC tx fee with blocks 1 and 2. The premine was supposed to be 0.5% and not 1%.
- The new/current BE rewrote blocks 1, 2 and the premine addy.
- Poloniex continues to see this as a non issue.

Conflict of interest anyone ?

check before claiming scam , sync has 1000 coins , 5 coins IS 0,5 % ...
mscollec has already delivered quite a lot of things like sms , nitesend etc i dont see why he shouldnt on the anonmarket

Please read my posts more carefully before you respond. Namely this -- >> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=607919.msg7662909#msg7662909

Many coins have been labelled as scams and/or delisted for far less.

VOOT recap :

- There is no proof that VOOT's IPO has ever changed hands.
- The dev(s) is openly manipulating the VOOT and SYNC markets.
- MsCollec is /was openly looking for more "abandoned" premined/IPO to take over.

No one here cares about your opinion of Israel.

Stop overclocking? Your overclock obviously isn't stable, and the client is unlikely to blame.

Every other client works and I'm back to normal/ stable clocks.

I unzipped a fresh copy, tried the full install, deleted the blockchain, ran an error check.. ect..

Minersource is a reseller, not the manufacturer. They've honored refund requests with store credit at their own expense, not sure if their still doing that now that shipping is sort of ongoing.
If you've had issues getting in touch with them try emailing support@minersource.net or their phone number is on the website. I've always at least gotten a response. Hope that helps.

I'm sure you have, Mr. Ponzi Shill.

Both have the same file size.

I'm finally synced again and showing block 2200.

Also, the block explorer isn't picking up my last 2 bets..  818f00a661826a41a608318b09146b278da00b412576b5186298b25925c4e44c-000

EDIT

Now at block 2210 and the block explorer is only showing #2170.

No. I'm now seeing 10-20% cpu usage where as before it was only 2-5%.

Btw, before ANY coin can claim to be decentralized it needs a decentralized internet and power grid to run on. Wink

Question:
Someone was able to complete the synchronization of the new wallet in a normal way,
without using the zip with the blockchain, or the files in the directory of the previous wallet?

No reply.

So really no one was able to sync the wallet?   Huh

I had to use the zipped blockchain.

Yeah, I had to use the zip file too. I had to search the thread for it though. It should be added to the OP.

I used the blockchain in the zip file and worked perfectly. Just follow the instructions....It's staking much much better.
To the moon with the Navajo!

If it goes to $1 I can afford the build of my recording studio!!!
if it goes to $10 I will afford the build of my recording studio + my home!

at $10, I'd build a nice house, have a housemaid as I'm messy, have a nice bbq set in the backyard, get a nice car, have a pet dog named peanut.  Grin

And when I grow up.. I wanna be a shitcoin disturber. Roll Eyes

So.. how did a simple double spend bring down the network ?

Is there something we are not being told ?

nobody mining LTS?
the block at 2052
3 hours?
maybe you are on the wrong fork
download the updated version from github
remove every thing from your lottoshare roaming folder except wallet.dat and sync again

We're seeing long block times because someone with descent hashpower is coinhopping LTS. Miners be warned, the difficulty adjustment algo will make this easy pickings for the multi pools.

Btw, I'm 0 for 13 and down 130 LTS .. The lotto seems overly stingy...

It is very ecouraging to see how most of us are content to simply hold onto our CLAMs, and should serve as a good indicator of how evenly distributed the air drop really was.

This is very true!
We have been amazed by the "strength" of many of the hands who are holding CLAMS.
That is not the 'norm' by any means in crypto these days.
