It's funny, but earlier I expected that the price could be in the range of 57.5k to 60k by the end of December. Unfortunately, I was wrong because bitcoin didn't have high volatility this month as it was in November. Anyway, it looks like you're right, and users who placed bets on ranges of 45k to 50k will win this time.
Many people imagined that, in fact 100k was expected to happen this year. Ih ave to agree that by the time betting closed here, a lot less people considered 100k to be possible, but even in that case there were 400+ bets made on 80k to 100k betting, it is a very low chance and the odds were 87+ for it so it is clear that a lot less people thought about it by the time betting ended. However, a few months ago if you asked people, especially during October pump, they would say that it reached 68k+ again and 100k+ by the end of the year was possible.

In the end, we are not goign to see it for sure and third biggest paid bet looks like it is going to win it all. Not a shock, but not the favorites neither, people ended up not realizing what could happen. First one being 52k+ is the proof that not many of us really know what we are talking about when predicting.

Almost all the exchanges ask to very their users kyc and many of them already been hacked. For that reason what we have been able to do against them? Nothing! So, if any gambling site can be hacked then nothing to do. And also, no exchange or gambling site wants to be hacked. Every exchange and gambling sites wants to be safe and keep safe to their users.
What you say is right and I fully agree.
Fortunately, we have DEX that can be a bridge for those people who do not want to verify themselves and do not want to send any documents.
DEX comes to us and offers that they do not need users to do KYC as they do not care who they are.
Users will have the option where they should play gambling or use the exchange because they will know how to select that gambling site and the exchange.
Swaps could only work within the confines of crypto world if you are already in it, if you want to get in with your fiat then swaps will not work at all. This is why I feel like there is a good case to be made about the KYC situation for places like coinbase or binance or whatever where you send your fiat in and take crypto out. After that you are right you could deal with swaps and do not have to give your KYC because there is no centralized organization to take your KYC in those situations, but to get there you have to share it.

The only people who never have to share are the people who earn crypto and never take it out to fiat, just keep it at crypto. Eventually they will have to obviously, or they may end up buying something with it I suppose?

I read an article saying that it is not proper to borrow money for business because is too risky not all the business succeed at the first time then tell me if you went and borrow money to invest at the first time and you fail what do you think in this life we know you have to take risk because only a risk taker survive but not in this aspect, start from the little you have and it will continue to grow.
Good point. Even if you should diversify your investment, there is still risk, because all of them are not going to be successful, not to talk of when you have just invested in one. The thing is that we never get to hear the stories of those who lose in the market, the only stories that we get to hear are of those who are lucky and made millions and billions of dollars and turn motivational speakers the next day.

So that way people who have not had any single experience starts thinking that it is quite easy, while the truth is that it is not. Borrowing money is a huge, but if you’re sure about what you’re doing and you know you would benefit from it, then it’s up to you, you can decide to go ahead.

I am thinking why he played for scotland? He was called as a "WALL" in Indian cricket and was one of top player of Indian team then why he went to play for Scotland.
Before you asked this, it seemed this was a hot topic on google search and in cricket world (when you type Rahul Dravid on google search you will get suggestions for "why Rahul Dravid played for Scotland") and I found this article to explain you all the details you might be looking for: https://www.sabguru.com/en/why-rahul-dravid-played-for-scotland.

Even I do watch cricket keenly, I did not come to know about this Rahul Dravid's contract with Scotland cricket. It is really a different news for a day.

Kohli should take leave now on his own accord, spend time with family, try to get back to form by practicing well at the same time. If he continues to perform poorly in the upcoming series, the board will be forced to take his replacement and send him to rest. It would be insulting for a player like Kohli. So now Kohli should voluntarily rest for a few months.
But, when you are watching how Kohli batted and then how got out at the on-going test, you may not blame his skills but only his lack of patience (similarly Pujara's wicket also highly misfortune one) hence I am not seeing any problem for Kohli's place in India test team as of now. As long as his batting average stays good, he might remain in playing eleven as expecting him to score at least one century on every series may not be an appropriate one IMO even he used to do so some few years back.

Before Kohli, India should rest Rahane and Pujara first or at least give chance either one and should apply rotating policy to give room for new talents.
1646  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Btc price sideways not what the traders want on: December 27, 2021, 01:40:21 PM
i do agree that moving sideways is the most hardest situation on where you do decide whether you do buy or sell specially if you arent seeing those sentiments around then you would really be finding it to be a big problem.
I do not call that sideways market is the hardest part of bitcoin market for both traders and investors. Because, traders might love the range bound markets to buy and sell at same kind of levels to profits on daily basis whereas for investors who have been holding bitcoin for years definitely might have seen similar situations where bitcoin usually launch its bullish rally after a sideways market.

when market goes one direction we earn profit with leverage one way but if sideways then its hard to use futures trading
This is the reason always spot trading must be a good one for any trader. I have seen many cons of leveraged market and this time that is not a good to go with even for sideways market as well.
1647  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You don't need to hodl a particular coin all your life on: December 27, 2021, 11:41:04 AM
Some people don't understand the hodling technique, they are hodling a particular coin and never sell to rebuy again or to sell and buy another coin. You can sell this coin and buy that other coin that is how to turn over your money.
Even I do plan to make use of year long bearish market of bitcoin, I am not comfortable to sell my bitcoin; honestly I am little afraid to take any such hard decision by deviating my initial plans of bitcoin investments. Moreover, if I would have sold 1 bitcoin by the times of late December 2017 when bitcoin was trading above $15k levels then I would have got chances to multiply my one bitcoin into at least 3 bitcoins by buying back by 2018 December when bitcoin was trading below $5k price levels.

When we are not sure about what is going to happen next and where will be bottom to be met, I guess all long term holders must be hesitating to disturb their plans of long term holding.
1648  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Economic Advantage on: December 27, 2021, 08:24:43 AM
I wish you must work on convincing more people by showing your success level to adopt bitcoin so that bitcoin will grow stronger which will again getting you another level of success regardless of where your country will be heading.
I guess only less than 1% of people are bothering about explaining the real potential of adopting bitcoin by showing the real time example from their own life. Bitcoin is not directly getting us any benefits for making a new person to adopt bitcoin, which must be the only reason why people are rarely doing so.

I am always into that because when we share about our success regarding bitcoin adoption then definitely it will multiply the magnitude of success recursively.
If it will be too good if you mind to share about your working process as it might help many people on where to start and how to start. I am must be one of them who wish to spread words on bitcoin but due to various reasons I keep on delaying that.
1649  Economy / Economics / Re: The link between Bitcoin and the economy on: December 26, 2021, 09:51:22 PM
When we discussed the topic of Bitcoin and its decentralized nature and how it relates to the economy of the world, I lot of people seem to be confused about the place of Bitcoin in the economy.
First, we need to understand the nature of Bitcoin and also its legal tendency.
Bitcoin is a digital currency that is not controlled by any one individual or government that is why it is referred to as decentralized currency, secondly, Bitcoin is an asset just like gold that the reason most people adopt it for its economic benefits.
Also gold is a bit of controlled by the government as well. Most of the gold owners are the nations and not retail people, when you look at how nations care and value their gold, you will realize that they are the ones that make it valuable so much since they care about it. The day governments of the world come out and say they are selling their gold because it doesn't mean anything to them anymore, we would see a huge crash and that is the main reason why it is still risky.

Not saying that they will do it, but the fact that they "might" is good enough for me to say gold is not valuable at all. This is why we should be focusing on decentralization a lot more than how we care about it right now.
1650  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to find Airdrop or ICO project? on: December 26, 2021, 08:50:48 PM
I want to know how to find airdrop or ICO project...how to check scam or real and how much profit airdrop can make...and if u have experience about airdrop or ico things can u share this exp in here:Smiley
I have to say bounties section here is as godo as any if you really want to earn something meaningful. Most of them already have a pre-sale coming up or already past their presale stage, so you need to look at that. If you are getting free airdrop there is a 99.99% chance that it will be something worthless whereas if you are investing into a new project then the bounty section here is filled with them.

I am not saying that you need to work for them, you could do that if you want to and earn something, but you could also check when their presale is and when their release date is and their whole roadmap and whitepaper and all of that will be there. So, you will find something you can invest and brand new.
1651  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - 2 Million+ in Xmas Giveaways | Watford & UFC Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: December 26, 2021, 07:28:22 PM
I look forward to the big $1 000 000 Giveaway later today, I hope a lot of you will win something and that it will change your life in a significant way. This is a day of hope...... let's enjoy that.  Wink
These big type of stuff are very important to all of crypto world. Not because it is just a huge amount, that's definitely a great thing but the reality is that we are talking about something that is also rare in the crypto world and can attract people from the fiat world as well. I am not saying that we should do see a huge number of increase in bitcoin price, or a lot of people suddenly joining in millions but it is still a big thing. Imagine you are a person who never invested into crypto ever before, but you are uncertain and want to maybe give it a chance, you see some place giving out 1+ million in giveaway and wouldn't that help you make a decision? It certainly would do that for me.
This is quite true, it is definitely something that attracts people out of crypto world as well. Considering how Stake has partnerships with Watford and UFC, I am pretty sure there are tons of people who didn't even know it was a crypto casino and wanted to check and they googled it probably. When they first came in here, the first thing they see is a million dollars giveaway, in fact it is 2+ million total but still it is a lot of money. Sure they will see it is crypto and if they want to leave they will leave but at the same time it may cause some people to get into crypto as well.

So, I agree that Stake is doing something not just great for them but great for the whole crypto world. All those people who get involved could spend more than 2+ million dollars all over crypto world, invest, trade, stake and even gamble obviously. So, it is definitely a great thing for all of us and not just stake.
1652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 26, 2021, 06:10:45 PM
Spectacular innings from the Indian team on day one. Could have been quite tricky at the point Kohli got out. It has happened many times to me to see Virat Kohli attempt to play a delivery outside the box and lose his wicket. To see he didn't take advantage of his great start and not use this batting condition is very disappointing. Rohane had a great start to the innings. KL was simply fantastic. KL Rahul deserves all the praise for his performance. He has always had class, and now he appears to be adding that consistency in this series, as well.
Yeah, we could not ask more from India on outside Asian conditions in test matches. I just wonder that India did not play any warm up matches still they have adopted the new conditions and showed that they were the runner up of recently concluded test championship. I guess the toss favored India and they made the most out of winning the toss.

I am sure about India bowlers to perform well in South Africa and if my prediction is right then there will be no more obstacles for India to take the lead after this test match (I know its too early to call the result in favor of India but India batted well like a hots hence which must be more than enough for deciding the result for them in the end regardless of how South Africa will bat).
1653  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin allows tax evaders, Please pay attention.... on: December 26, 2021, 01:52:54 PM
This has a point, but how about those employees who are paid a minimum wage? Consider that they are devoting nearly a day of their wage to paying taxes. Yes, as citizens, we should pay taxes, but what if the government is corrupt and we have no idea where our money is going? Now, the current administration, I can honestly say that there are no corruptions and that I have seen the government's projects, unlike in the past. But, whether we like it or not, we must pay taxes.
This is the situation most of us are in right now but if "I do not want to pay my taxes because I believe my government is corrupt" would be an acceptable reason to not pay taxes, then nobody in the world would ever pay taxes, even if they believe it is not corrupt, they will just say it is corrupt and they will avoid it. What you should do when you believe that your government is corrupt is not stop paying taxes but start being more active in the world of politics.

I did that once upon a time 2+ years ago, I joined a party and both gave feedback on how to get better and how to root out corruption within my own party but also showed resistance towards ruling party and basically worked on trying to end corruption. Obviously me alone is not enough, but if ALL good people around the world got into politics all at once suddenly, we would have a lot less worrisome corruption. That's how you stop corruption, not by stop paying taxes.
1654  Economy / Economics / Re: Robert Kiyosaki expects a market crash and economic crisis - do you believe it? on: December 26, 2021, 01:03:17 PM
In the case where crypto market experiences market crash, then we should only hope for the best since we can't do nothing about this but keep on hodling as we'll wait for the market to be normal again.

Honestly, there's no use in talking negative things in the future as it will only build fear and depression. We will only cross the bridge once we went there. Despite all of this, i'll just focus on how to grow my investments now and take advantage on every good opportunities that come.
Another thing is that most times when you look at a situation like this, you wouldn’t eve know what to do about it. Having Bitcoin is good, but it is also a volatile investment and you wouldn’t know if it will go down anytime soon or not after you have invested in it.

And for that reason you cannot invest all your money in bitcoin, except part of it. Then after you have invested that little part of your money in bitcoin, the next question is what you do with the rest of it? You’re still going to keep them in your savings, and then hope to make  big profit from the little you have invested in bitcoin?

I would say it’s best to develop a business that would be very profitable, because that’s the one thing that can keep you going no matter whatever it is.
1655  Economy / Economics / Re: Dont just borrow money but for the right reason on: December 25, 2021, 09:10:26 PM
In 5 years this investment will return very good ROI.
Life is simple lets not make it so difficult
good if the investment can last that long . The problem with metaverse project is that some projects have crashed and been abandoned after a few months. The point is you still have to be willing to take risks if you really want to invest in the Metaverse. many also offer ROI in just a few days or weeks. and if anyone were to use his life's money for this it must be a serious decision.
I thought you were in jail! Lol jk, good username though. The truth is that "metaverse" is not one thing and people keep forgetting that. Sure sandbox is doing fine, and I am sure decentraland will do fine as well but these are projects and not the whole metaverse. There are too many people who imagine that they could "invest into metaverse" and there is no such thing.

It is like saying "I invest into crypto", well that's good but which coin? You could keep holding btc, eth, bnb, ltc, sol and so forth whereas you could also be holding 1324th biggest coin and lose money as well. It is like saying "I bought NFT", well that's great but what was it, cryptopunks? Or just some knock off that worths 50 bucks at the very best? So, it is really not meaning anything to say you invest into metaverse, it is important to state which project you invest into in order to make a profit.

Not sure if I’ll be online much tomorrow so just wanted to drop in & wish you all a Happy Christmas tomorrow with family & loved ones. It’s been another tough year for many of us because of the pandemic & restrictions. I actually lost my father in-law last week (not covid).

You’ve all been great though, we have a really nice community here. Just wanted to thank you all for being such a great group of guys. I’ve had fun with you all & will continue to do so. Hopefully 2022 is a good one, wouldn’t mind LFC winning a trophy or two 😇

We’ll all be having a gambling marathon over the festive period, lots of games. Have a great holiday guys & thanks again.
As someone who had a near-death with an inlaw myself, I understand the pain you went through a bit better this year compared to any other year. We are not done yet and everyday is still at the hospital and I keep working every single day at hospital while taking care of my in-law's needs (my wife stays with them while I just go running around dealing with paperwork stuff) so it has been a terrible year for us as well.

I at least managed to leap over that death situation and even though we are at hospital "nearly" everyday, at least she is alive and well and that's what matters. In fact we had another one where my wife's aunt had a terrible situation as well but that was over like in 10-15 days I think thankfully, and my father-inlaw got covid as well but thankfully he just had some fever and then felt better after a week.

So, this year has been all a year of "nearly died" for most of my in-laws. I can't feel the exact pain you are feeling, but I can understand it more than I used to and I am terribly sorry. Been a terrible year for the world, everyone talks about how "thousands" died but nobody realizes that the stats actually represent someone's mom, dad, brother, sister, wife, husband and even child.

Exchange your RPs for bitcoin directly once you hit 100,000 RPs balance. That is the best you can do and the safest path to take. Another alternatives are 1000% extra bitcoin on every roll and 5 extra Wheel of Fortune spins on every roll, but you need to be really lucky to make profit from it, what means there are serious chances you are going to lose money by purchasing those bonus, while also wasting time, because you need to be active on the site every hour to make the claims.
Well back in time wheni was so active and using my computer for long hours i use to activate only the boot bonus of 1000% bitcoin. And i was rolling about 15 to 18 times a day and i was getting more profits than exchanging the points straight to bitcoin because in that time 0.001 worth no more than 15$ and they were offering more than 0.001 for each 100,000 RPs. So i will try the bonus first for a couple of days and see how it works.
100K point is still 100k satoshi so there is no change in that. If you are looking to make money via affiliates only, it still gives the same return as well and there is nothing that changed with it. I would suggest doing the same things that you did back in the day and you will get a lot better results nowadays. Sure the free faucet thing is not giving as much satoshi but it is also still giving the same amount in fiat as well.

So, absolutely nothing got worse, in fact many things got even better in the past 6-7 years, with addition of even making money while doing nothing with the interest rate. They literally give you money just for keeping your money there which not that many places even do. If you haven't been around for a while, stick around and check things out and I guarantee you that you will find a lot more ways to make profit than back in the day.

I am not able to find any internal exchanging feature with primedice and stake anymore. Do I miss anything regarding this? I am aware of their ranking system like higher end features are accessible/visible to only VIP gamblers but I remember I was able to use exchanging features but not right now.

If it is confirmed that primedice and stake are no more supporting the exchange feature then I guess OP might need an update to reflect the latest. Thank you.
1659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 25, 2021, 02:23:00 PM
Incidents such as this one will further destroy any interest in the game from the native population.
I am not sure how true practically this statement is. For example, we need to consider South Africa; they were able to produce quality players among many such incidents. Racism is not a new problem in all Europe countries hence I am not seeing such incident will bother the new talents at their interest levels.

I don't think Netherland will allow such model in there cricket team, they will prefer not to made cricket team instead.
Could you please elaborate more on this statements so that we could get more enlightenment on your point. Do you mean Netherlands will not bother even if they lose players for the reason of racism? I do not think any developed country will take such a stand in this modern days.

Almost each and every altcoins performed/performing well and it is expected that, everyone has made satisfactory gain in this year but there are also someone, whose's luck doesn’t flavour on those. Well so do you think, you are satisfied what you gained with your altcoins in 2021??
Not all the coins are recovering; for example, I have been holding tron since 2018 with average buying prices around 700 satoshi and I am still into lose with respect to current price of 165 satoshi. I do stake and I got good returns from Tron and when comparing in USD prices then I could have been into profits still I calculate my profit/losses only in BTC value hence I cannot agree that each and every coin is performing well.

Another coin must be waves which is still trading below 50k satoshi whereas my buying prices were around 70k satoshi. I am satisfied only with the performance of bitcoin in 2021 and most of altcoins in my stash so far gave me only big disappointments only.
