1641  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud Mining / Roi / Difficulty on: August 16, 2017, 08:21:08 PM
Hello Guys,

i have a question and hope you can help me.
For Example if I buy for 13.000 $ 100 TH/s on genesis mining.
The Calculator from https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/calculator/btc?HashingPower=100&HashingUnit=TH%2Fs&PowerConsumption=333&CostPerkWh=0.0 says it mine per Year
Ƀ 10.67.

I know it is not the final mining result because the increasing difficulty is not considered.
But how can I create a relatively accurate calculation how much Bitcoin really end up coming out? Also the fees of Genesis still have to be considered.

Do you think it is so at all possible to increase bitcoins with cloud mining?

Thank you

Genesis Mining is an old cloud mining service, i am  not sure if it showed a real proof of mining activity or not although i remember seeing some equipments in photos...but is it profitable?
Anyway, I would say even if a cloud mining service is legit, the profit that you will made will be very low in order that you will hope to recover your ROI before they will suspend the contract due to the high maintenance cost...
1642  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [08-16-2017] Coremedia.info | Europe and Asia Warm Up To Bitcoin and Blockchain on: August 16, 2017, 08:01:45 PM
For the Ukraine, I believe that I read an article few months ago about the intention of politicians or the central bank -i forget which one exactly -...to adopt blockchain technology and bitcoin. So I don't think this article is really new.
1643  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-08-14] Apple Shop in Belarus Accepting Bitcoin and Ethereum on: August 15, 2017, 06:06:22 PM
Didn't actually understand what they mean by this move
Quote
The payment process is a bit different than in other shops accepting cryptocurrencies so far, the buyer actually pays 1% of the value of the goods in local fiat – Belarusian rubles, and gets a 99% discount that should be processed in Bitcoins or Ethereum
But the fact that they adopt is a nice thing that needs to be expanded widely
1644  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-08-15] Russia Discusses Starting Cryptocurrency Mining With Its 20+ Gigawa on: August 15, 2017, 06:00:54 PM
Be careful when you use these sort of misleading headlines. The minister (Igor Shuvalov) never made any such statement and the Russian government remains openly hostile to the idea of Bitcoin. It was the idea of Bitfury founder Valery Vavilov to use the excess electricity generated in Russia to be used for setting up Bitcoin mining farms.

Russia...from banning bitcoin to mining it! Even if the title is misleading, I don't really appreciate the fact that the governments participate in the bitcoin system, they only have to allow it and facilitate its usage in the daily life! That's all.

Good job  Smiley
1646  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-08-11] The Bitcoin Cash Hard Fork Will Show Us Which Coin Is Best on: August 13, 2017, 10:10:05 PM
The market already showed BCC is inferior. It may survive but not going to come close to BTC.

It is born to be an altcoin and it will rest an altcoin and people should see it like this. The only thing that have in common with bitcoin comparing to the rest of altcoins is that its name has the bitcoin word. That's all.
Well it may have a similar future rise as ethereum? We will see  Smiley
1647  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin transaction fees fair? on: August 13, 2017, 10:03:03 PM
This is a problem. Fees should fall and fall, but instead they climb and climb. I dont care really since i'm not transacting so many coins
I don't think that its a problem at all because transaction fees can be adjusted at your preferred price depending on the level of priority of you want. Some wallets have given you the freedom to adjust the price of transacting your Bitcoin and some wallet even have no transaction fees if you are transacting to the same wallet provider. Also seeing the fees of Bitcoin transactions I doubt that it would really affect our funds that much.

For people making many transactions, it is frustrating a little bit. I remember few services was offering few ''free'' transactions for their customers which was stopped lately due probably to the rise of the fees. I remember few years ago, I was able to pass some tx without fees (it isn't a good thing for bitcoin yeah), or for now sometimes a standard tx fees could stuck for a while. Increasing the block size could be a solution? I think yes especially after the next halving if the price didn't get adjusted correctly  Wink
1648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2017-08-11] Bitcoin Cash Gains More Support on: August 12, 2017, 10:24:42 PM
I think we have to admit it that there is also a great possibility that eventually BitCoinCash (BCH) would be able to survive and take its place in the sea of cryptocurrencies we already have. However, there is no question that its place is that of an altcoin and not really as a possible heir to the throne occupied right now by Bitcoin.

For me, as I have sold my free BCH coin, I really don't care whether BCH would go on living for a long, long time or one day it can die out of fresh breathable air. Anyway, there is a fork coming in November maybe we should be ready for another round of free money.

For the bitcoin cash the survival odds aren't that low, with barely every bitcoin holder have an amount to trade it seems promising if it is well adopted.
For the next round of the November fork, better to take lessons from the first one and not rush selling all you have  Wink
1649  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin heading to $4,000 on: August 12, 2017, 10:10:47 PM
you were so right , i just expected 3500 $ by the end of october too  or less but the actual btc price touching the 4k $ . The current price could be a signal of some possible  near global event , maybe a  war .

A war ? Between who? I think it is much related to the fork and people keep converting bitcoin cash to bitcoin maybe? In addition to other classic factors.
For the $4k it will be reached in the next days imo

Amazing move mr. Bitmixer! We cannot deny the fact that your service were sometimes used in gamblings, buying illegal substance and crime payments and corruption. Great move there. Hope your competitors would do the same, this would clean the reputation of crypto currency.

They should close the Switzerland's banks though since they could be used by secret services, washing money, crimes,....
The service is used for mixing and keeping your money secret from others - privacy -, it is not intended to be used for corruption. And like any service it could be used in a negative way.

lauda turned the sig campaign from a bot crazy shitshow to something with some actual quality control.

Okay. I thought for a sec that the poster was alluding to Lauda being part of Bitmixer. Hey, since I'm only working on impulse power at the moment, somebody please confirm that such is not the case.

Hey Gleb
Lauda was the manager of the signature campaign and he did a great job kicking the sig spammers which I believe that Bitmixer was the second largest place after yobit (before hilariousandco era  Wink)
1654  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: The lagest Bitcoin mixer is about to stop working on: August 03, 2017, 02:39:18 PM
Hi all!
Despite the huge profit we earn, we are closing our activity. Let me explain why.

I'm bitcoin enthusiast since 2011. When we started this service I was convinced that any Bitcoin user has a natural right to privacy. I was totally wrong. Now I grasped that Bitcoin is transparent non-anonymous system by design. Blockchain is a great open book. I believe that Bitcoin will have a great future without dark market transactions. You may use Dash or Zerocoin if you want to buy some weed. Not Bitcoin.

I hope our decision will help to make Bitcoin ecosystem more clean and transparent. I hope our competitors will hear our message and will close their services too. Very soon this kind of activity will be considered as illegal in most of countries.

Cheers,
Bitmixer.IO

One of the best services & signature campaign especially after it was cleaned.
I would thanks bitmixer.io and lauda for all the offerts made here.
Good luck in your real life Bitmixer

1657  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go under 2000 dollars until august 1? on: August 01, 2017, 02:22:03 AM
The price before 1 August may be under $ 2000, but after that the price will skyrocket and will reach $ 3000 or more in a day, I will quote this post if my prediction is true or wrong.

Quoted for you  Tongue
For the first part hopefully the price wasn't under $2000.
For the second part i don't think it will happens, maybe a slight move upward or loosing up to $100 but after 24 hours maybe a +3000 will be possible

Edit
CLOSED
Indeed
1658  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin heading to $4,000 on: August 01, 2017, 02:17:36 AM
First August and the bitcoin price is between $2800-2900 in most exchanges which is reassuring, now let's just wait for a further move upward
1659  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 25, 2017, 10:58:38 AM
What the hell is going on with the BTC again? Just dipped below 2600 ...?

The bitcoin price is lagging like hell. From almost $3000 to $1900 to $28xx and now around $2600. August 1 effect?
Reminder : control your coins people (have your private keys).
1660  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: NanoHash - Cloud mining - Free 15KH/s / $0,90 per month for free on: July 25, 2017, 10:52:49 AM
I have 2.75$ when i'm withdraw i get : "You need to have more mining power to withdraw your nanohash balance.
You must first deposit money to withdraw money. Alternatively, you must invite a user who made a deposit!"

We already mentioned that this is a scam attempt... You will never get your money back even if you invited a whole city residents. You will likely get blocked and investigated or any other stupid reason to block your money.
