The three promoted teams this season Luton, Burnley and Sheffield are all in the relegation zone and I don't think they are all capable of competing in the EPL. I had hoped that one of them would immediately crawl to the middle or top position and at least provide a different color this season but it seems my expectations were too high. Barcelona's previous failure in the Champions League competition for 2 consecutive seasons doesn't seem to be a real lesson and as the match gets closer to starting, they still can't change. I'm curious what Xavi can do next and if he is eliminated in the Champions League his fate will definitely not be safe. Real Madrid is a real example for other teams and even though they are not very strong because many main players are injured, they can still consistently win in all competitions. |
