1641  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1450 TH] BitMinter.com [1% PPLNS,Pays TxFees +MergedMining,Stratum,GBT,vardiff] on: August 14, 2014, 07:31:52 PM
I have jumped around alot of pools since I started mining years ago now (god I sound old hat at this) I have no problem sticking around in periods of bad luck, Last month the pool solved 56 blocks, Well, I had 56 payouts so it might not be totally accurate to the full calender month, However, Last month I earned more on bitminter than any calculator said I would, I really believe it's a case of rough with the smooth.

If I have to say anything (criticizing) about the pool, I need to donate half a percent to have more than 5 workers, But There is a 1% fee on this donation  Huh This is ontop of the 1% PPLNS, Dont get me wrong, I like to donate a bit to keep things running, I just see the fee as an excuse to get more from people who use benefits.

Before anyone says "just dont use more than 5 workers dumb ass, You can point as many as you like to one worker" Well no actually for two reasons, Firstly, For some reason dragons do not work well sharing a worker, I have no idea why, Also, As I host in different locations, I like to see where is not producing the hash power I pay for so I dont have to go around asking everyone to check my miners are working.

Keep up the good work Dr.

1644  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: AntMiner S2 Rejects and NiceHash on: August 10, 2014, 01:34:21 AM
I'm not familiar with that pool, But check to see if you can set a difficulty setting to the miner, Are the shares rejected because of low diff or stale? Does the site tell you this?

Someone should be able to help better than me soon.

This is normally a indication that it has switched to a "fallover pool" Or it has connection issues.

I have not got one yet, But I would check your "pool 2" and see if there are shares submitted there, If not, Check the pool is up or switch to a better pool.

If it has been switching to a backup pool, There is nothing you can do other than taking the sounder off, This would hurt resale value mind, People like to be warned if something is up.
1651  Economy / Goods / Re: Car for sale in the UK! Being sold for BTC on: August 03, 2014, 12:19:30 PM
Another bump and update, This car is advertised in a few places for 2K I will accept less than this for a BTC trade.

It does not help me selling in the holidays, So I will keep trying to sell.

I am still using this until it has sold, But no big miles.

BTC is hanging around £360 ish, I would take 5 coins (around £1800)

1653  Economy / Computer hardware / ---SOLD--- [WTS] 2x gridseed blades UK ---SOLD--- on: August 02, 2014, 02:12:34 PM
Hiya, I got 2 blades running smooth (approx 5.2Mhs per blade at 838), Not tampered with so everything is stock.

(one fan is starting to squeek LOL Nothing bad, Fan still good)

This comes with PCI-e to barrel connectors. (for easy hook up to a ATX PSU)

Anyone give me a coin (1BTC) for the two this includes shipping to UK

I used this to stock up on alt coins, I have enough now so I will sit back and see what happens.   Grin

Pics and escrow on request, Nothing to hide here as all ways.

1654  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] 6x Antminer S3s on: August 01, 2014, 12:44:11 PM
Without flaming, You are really best buying direct and paying the import duties, With such a new item you will be hard pushed to buy one cheaper than new right now.

People who have them now would have paid 0.75 a piece, They are 0.64 with a week wait, Anyone now would not sell at a loss (less than 0.75+import duties)

Still this forum has seen worse.

I hope you get what you are looking for.  Cool

You probably saw it in the movie Liar, Liar:
Quote
This is a quote of Liar Liar w/ Jim Carrey (Jim is Fletcher)
Greta: Mr. Reede, several years ago a friend of mine had a burglar on her roof, a burglar. He fell through the kitchen skylight, landed on a cutting board, on a butcher's knife, cutting his leg. The burglar sued my friend, he sued my friend. And because of guys like you *he won*. My friend had to pay the burglar $6,000. Is that justice?
Fletcher: No!
[Greta looks pleased, but then Fletcher continues]
Fletcher: I'd have got him ten.
[Greta stalks off, appalled]

It was a short article in the papers quite a few years ago, It was not a kitchen sky-lite, It was a conservatory, It was not his leg, It was his arm, It was not a butchers knife, It was a cheese knife.

Having a quick scour of the net, I see lots of UK law blunders, But not this one, I am sure I did not imagine it  Grin Anyone else from the UK remember this one?

I am not American, But I have been watching some of them anyway.

Well, Lawyers and bitcoin don't mix, Bitcoin is about standing away from statutes and acts and other government made up crimes, Designed to squeeze every bit of money back into their pockets, Weather you win or loose, The money goes to the courts.

I am currently studying "freeman law" or "laymen's law" It's scary how much control we have over our selves.

On a side note, There was a story in the UK of a robber, Who tried to gain access to a house by climbing on a glass conservatory, The glass gave way and he fell onto a table with a cheese knife cutting his arm.........The robber sued and WON £10K in damages!!

This is the real world we live in with lawyers.

I pay £21 for this.

1660  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you serve revenge or leave it alone? on: July 29, 2014, 02:08:39 PM
Why do you care so much about getting banned from a shitty private server?

As I said, It was more of an example, Rather than it destroyed my life  Roll Eyes

And the reason why it was an example is because it was one of the few times I could get revenge.

But does "could" mean "should"
