1641  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think will happen if... on: February 02, 2023, 10:45:57 PM
What do you think will happen to crypto if institutional investors all decide to stay away from crypto investment this time around? Do you think crypto can surge of it's own especially Bitcoin without the help of institutional investors money, do not yab me for this question, I am not sure what will happen I only need people's different opinions.

No it can't go anywhere if institutional investors will back off and the one who remains are the small fish. Bitcoin move base on demand so if there's less demand for it so maybe we cannot move faster as we can see it happening these days.

But this scenario like institutional investor leaving will not happen because you know people where they can benefit they are in and bitcoin gain more and more huge popularity so for sure they will stick with it then it can also gather more other investor since hype is on bitcoin side especially it gather more attention coming from the media.
1642  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I decided to buy some fractions of BTC after discussion with members here on: February 02, 2023, 12:41:49 PM
Hopefully you learn a lot of things before executing your orders since sometimes even if we think we are prepared about accumulating small portion of bitcoin from time to time still there are unfortunate things will come to test the market also our patience so hopefully you will not go on same situation with others where if they see the market is dumping they became crazy ad get panic to dump their bitcoins thinking that they can save their asses if they do so.

Much better to know yourself if you can handle such pressure since for sure once bull run came and your patience is so high together with your beliefs for sure you can earn with this.
1643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice on choosing a crypto casino on: February 02, 2023, 11:59:24 AM
Look for reviews. You can tell whether a review is fake or not. Fake reviews are more into general statements. Legit reviews are more into specifics. Read the reviews and decide which one is best suited for you.

Alternatively, try to search if a crypto casino is present here in the forum. If it is, look for its trust rating. If a casino has a number of red tags, it means it is questionable. It could mean the casino has many unresolved issues.
I saw many websites filled with fake reviews (Johns and Janes around telling "wow this casino is so good". Obvious). I think these are not very hard to find out. So congratulations to you, I agree with this idea. I guess it can be very nice to check them beforehand. I tend to look for comments mainly about withdrawals. I suggest anyone to do same. It doesn't matter how much money you make, you should be able withdraw it as fast as possible.

So easy to spot fake since the words has no context and just posted in essence to have good words about their casino, while the real one is been written by real experience and familiarity of the game they are writing on. If we spot those shills posting some good feedbacks on casino then maybe its time for us to exist because provably there's no great things will happen here. Luckily we know this forum since all we can read here is true and its very rare to see people posting some clear fake ones.
1644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: really no kyc crypto casino on: February 02, 2023, 10:08:32 AM
Well im planing to deposit decent amount of eth and make sports bets, but i really prefer no kyc casino/sports bet.
Most of casinos that i tried with clearly wriitwn NO KYC still asks for docs even for 0.0002btc withdrawal.
Does anyone know normal no kyc casino without bs?
so far i tried vave.com , they are good,  but who knows what will happen if you withdraw more than 1k, maybe annoying kyc procedures will begin trough email.
Anyone tried cloudbet? or bitcoin.com games?

Why not just use decentralized online casinos that do not require registration and KYC allowing direct connection, since after searching really among the recommended online casinos that require registration with a deposit, I at least did not find reliable sites they all have a very low rating judging by the reviews.

One of the reason why I don't want to choose those casino which offer No KYC compliant because we don't know if they are good because their reputation is questionable. Much better to use a KYC compliant casino which have good trust score and shows that they can able to pay huge winnings since this can give us more safety atmosphere than any other else. Before its good that we don't give our KYC details but now since bitcoin and crypto casino industry is evolving then maybe its good for us to get used of it and choose the best platform that we can trust our private details.
1645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how the name of Bitcoin is spreading globally! on: February 01, 2023, 12:41:54 PM
Bitcoin Gold and Bitcoin are different coins!

Bitcoin Gold is a Bitcoin fork, as you can read it on their official site https://bitcoingold.org/

It's misleading if you think the company in your country are want to spread a real Bitcoin globally, since they're promoting for Bitcoin Gold. It's either they got tricked and think Bitcoin Gold is a real Bitcoin or they have a purpose to promote Bitcoin Gold.

That information might mislead newbie then invest their money on bitcoin gold instead the real bitcoin so maybe those people around there who knows the real bitcoin should clarify this that bitcoin gold and bitcoin is different coin so that there information receive is accurate and they will not expect any huge to a wrong coin. This is not how to spread bitcoin because bitcoin itself is not been on the pic so I guess it was made to promote the other coin which people need to look closely.
1646  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 🖤 - #1 VIP Crypto Casino on: February 01, 2023, 11:43:35 AM
yes that's what's happening right now everyone is coming to buy and making the price of bitcoin as well as other cryptos increase, next year is not a long time even we are now going into the second month, time is running fast so people don't want to miss the train, although there may still be a correction market but I believe they will take more
Knowing that the next halving is coming closer, certainly many of us are taking advantage the chance to accumulate Bitcoin and alts. I'm also doing my best to save while the prices are not so expensive. It's too early to say but I think we're not going back to $16k below price.

Many prefer to do this once there's huge event to come in future so provably many are securing their bags to be prepared on great things happen when halving condition will take effect. But for now maybe best also to spend some where you think you can multiply your funds on good things while accumulating some since this is best option to take.

Contest winners have been announced so congratulations to the winners. Cool
Yes congrats to all the winners. As usual my prediction is far from reality. Grin

No one knows if we will go in this situation since bitcoin is dumping when this round starts, at least you enjoy the prediction contest that still a great achievement.

Any news on Berto Bolick guys? Have read that his stint in Taiwan will materialized as NorthPort and him can't agree in a contract.
I saw on a Facebook post that Bollick might have a short stint on Taiwan as his contract in NorthPort expiring soon. Snow Badua predicted that he might be Japan-bounded, but it seems like Taiwan is the next destination for him. If he will go there, he will see the 2 big centers Howard and Sim Bhullar there. Cheesy

Good place for him to land is in Japan since he can showcase his talent their, but still its also good if he will be on taiwan because for sure the experience he can get from those big guys and also the other imports accumulate by taiwanese league. Since if he decide to stay for sure he maybe place on bench because SMB and MVP group has a lot of talents.
T-1 league in Taiwan is an emerging basketball league and it's becoming more popular as more ex-NBA players are playing there. Howard is the first ex-NBA player that played in T-1 league under the Leopards and there might be more ex-NBA players that might go and play there. Those players who unfortunately didn't get any contract in the NBA will prefer playing overseas like in China where Tacko Fall is playing or in Japan maybe or in Taiwan.

Overall, seeing a PH player playing outside our country is always a good thing. After all, he will never win a title if he is on NorthPort right? Cheesy

Exactly this is why its really better for him to play overseas since in PBA to many teams are already been saturated by good players and talents like Bollick might not excel if he remains on North Port or even if he will be acquired on those big teams. He might good career outside plus he can earn more competitive salary compare to what PBA can offer to him.

Really good to see players playing outside the country since its like they are carrying the flag of the country and show that they have exceptional talents to bring on more bigger leagues.
1648  Economy / Economics / Re: In your country, today is money the real root of all evil? on: January 31, 2023, 11:14:24 PM
Money has Never, ever, been the root of all Evil.

People are the root of all Evil.

Get that in to your head right now.   There is No "Thing" that is the cause.  Except for humans.   We are the cause.

We are also the solution.

Peoples greediness to get more money is the reason why they became evil since they are willing to do all just to earn that money and money is just a tool to anyone its just they mis concept  and blame this for other who became evil due to this reasons. If people thinks fairly and afraid of consequences of their actions for sure they will not commit any money related crime.
1649  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why does everyone want to trade? on: January 31, 2023, 12:46:18 PM
I'm sure more of them will quit trading and judge crypto is not good enough for their money.

Another reason they are quitting it's because they are losing more than winning a trade. That's why education on trading is really needed to know what are the basics and strategies to win a trade.
Trading is better and most of people who are familiar with trading can get much money

This applies to people who are really professional traders since they may have a lot of technical analysis before executing a trade, risk management strategies, and trading psychology which they can control their emotions and not be attached if they lose a trade.
Even those professional often fails.

And those people who watch the successful trader never sees what happened behind and that's a point where things turned complicated , we get lured by the successful story but forgot to take seriously a risk behind it + the fails story as well.
True because after all the reality is like that that successful traders or professional traders does not mean they never experience losses,
success requires process and this takes a lot of time too so don't focus on success stories,
Taking risks is part of the process which requires careful consideration.

Who doesn't experience losses? everyone start with losing phase before they got successful careers on trading. If someone telling that they didn't experience that and all they got is win then they provably telling a lie and there's agenda beneath on what they are saying since maybe they are just fooling you and maybe ask to invest with their trades.

Taking risk is really a part of the process so we make sure that we learn from everything we do either we are losing or in winning trades.
1650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 31, 2023, 11:38:06 AM
I don't want to be pessimistic but Converge is just in the usual trend, winning in the early games of the elimination then get suddenly kicked out of the playoffs by SMC or MVP teams but still i'm hoping that it will not be the way this time around and it is good for us bettors since games in the PBA will be unpredictable and underdog teams can win anytime.
Last season, I was surprised that MVP teams didn't even clinched into the playoffs. That's the first time it happened in the whole history of MVP teams.

That maybe a sign that something is changing. That might be a sign that some independent teams might be capable of competing against these 2 giant franchises like what Converge is doing right now. I'm not that optimistic at all since we've seen numerous seasons already that it has always been SMC and MVP competing in the playoffs, but just maybe. Maybe we see a bit of changes in the league this conference. We don't know, but I'm hoping that they'll break the trend this season.

They can't control the game for regular season because they know if they manipulate the game maybe the league might put in shame since for sure the guest team will say something about what they experience in the league. And since they go to finals and SMP group is the lucky winner to reach this far then they let all things set because they also see a huge demand on this match up.

Any news on Berto Bolick guys? Have read that his stint in Taiwan will materialized as NorthPort and him can't agree in a contract.

All issues are solved immediately; Only issue where casino has concerns with the player faithfulness is delayed and deeply investigated; Did any of you face issue which has not been resolved within couple of minutes?  Cool

Understandable in the sense that a casino should carefully validate something since serious issues need to look closely and to avoid any further mistakes. But what's important here is for people to see an issue has been solve and the affected person will give an update to the status of the issue since this could give a relief for other who's still gambling as well can give a good reputation for the casino who's seriously take an action on the issue they see to their gamblers.
1652  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to acquire Bitcoin without having the basic knowledge? on: January 30, 2023, 11:03:05 AM
I was talking to a neighbour within the weekend and suddenly he grew so much passion in wanting to invest but now the problem is that his wanting me do this for him with excuses of not having the basic knowledge and I've told him to Google and do his own research about it.
I want to know if it's safe to buy Bitcoin without having the basic knowledge of it ?

Simple answer is no because you don't know what to do especially when crisis time happen. Newbie investors should always remember that there's always risk upon taking decision upon acquiring bitcoins since for sure their emotions will eat them and in the end they lose their money especially when they see the value of their holdings are melting due to market situation. Better invest for yourself first and learn basic knowledge about bitcoin since this is really a big help.

Other things will be learn thru experience so don't let yourself go unarmed with knowledge about cryptocurrency and bitcoin.
1653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 30, 2023, 09:38:12 AM
How about that foul on LeBron last night that cost the Lakers the game because of a no call? Crazy…

Yeah, that no call and then they call a foul on the other end? It looks like the referee is against the Lakers recently with a lot of no and controversial calls against them. They could have won that game in my opinion.

It was kind of heart breaking seeing LeBron like that, I mean that reaction was rare though and he was literally aching by what happened as it happened to them numerous times already. There's a meme circulating right now on the web that the NBA refs cost the Lakers 4 lost and that means, they could've land on the 6th or 7th seed but the refs were against them lately. Moreover, the Replay Center is now fully established, they should work that out in this kind of scenarios.

Its a total rob on their side that's why its really unfortunate to see him act like that since that's really steal a suppose to be win to them. Every win on lakers is so important that's why they value each game at the moment and I think NBA should fix this so that referees will be corrected then take out their biases to some teams or players. It seems lakers will not go anywhere this season since luck is not on their side plus referee's call is so tough to them.
1654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: January 28, 2023, 01:15:09 PM
Alright! Hopefully, Fulton is committed to the challenge and is willing to travel to Japan. And I am also hoping that Fulton put this matter into his own hands and stops Al Haymon of PBC from deciding what to happen next to his career. Earlier, it was announced by the WBC to let Fulton and Figueroa do a rematch at 126 for the vacant WBC or the interim belt depending on the outcome of current 126 WBC champion Rey Vargas who's also moving up to 130 for the vacant 130 WBC belt. If Vargas losses at 130 then he can remain as champion at 126 and face the interim champ. I wonder what will be the reaction of Al Haymon after the arrangements earlier will be canceled due to Fulton's willingness to give Inoue (a rival Top Rank fighter) a shot at his 2 belts.

Gonna be hard for Fulton though, unless he separate from Al Haymon, but in any case, if he agrees to fight Inoue in Japan it could have been with the blessings of PBC already? or it is they just agreed in principles and then anytime Fulton can says no and go up to 126 lbs?

And I'm not aware that the rematch with Figueroa will happen in 126 lbs? it should be in 122 lbs since that is their first fight?

Anyhow, let's see how it goes for Fulton and Inoue here, hopefully the fight can happen as schedule around April-May in Japan.

Inoue and Fulton only agreed to face each other but there are no signed contracts yet. Most likely Fulton is now trying to get the approval of Al Haymon to travel to Japan and defend his 2 belts against a fighter coming from a rival company. Let's just hope that Fulton grows some balls and sticks to his words that he can beat Inoue. If he moves up to 126, I believe he will be stripped of his WBO belt at 122 since Inoue is now mandatory.

Fulton and Figueroa fought each other in order to unify the WBC and WBO belts at 122. The fight deserved a rematch because it was very close. After the defeat, Figueroa went up to featherweight and since Fulton is a reigning 2-belt champion, the WBC presented them an opportunity to rematch at 126 for its belt.
If it's mandatory he needs to defend the title against Inoue, Inoue's promotion I'm sure will give in to Fulton's demands because he is beatable and they want to make Inoue champion again, no boxer in the super bantamweight can match up with Inoue's speed and power, I think Inoue is more comfortable fighting in this division because he will just add few weights, but Fulton will give him a good fight compared to fighters Inoue fought in the past.

On the contrary, I think Inoue has face a lot of great boxers, so not sure what Fulton can offer in this fight that Inoue hasn't seen in my opinion. No doubt that Fulton is good, but the power of Inoue will be too much for him specially that Inoue will added 4 pounds in his frame.

It might be the Fulton be the bigger guy if this is his weight, but Inoue's combination of power and speed will give anyone a problem here.

I wanted to see Fulton vs Figueroa 2 as well because the fight one is really close.

Fulton still a champion and lot to offer on this fight, Inoue camp cannot take it easy since Fulton can destroy them. Although he's bit slow for Inoue but he is a good counter puncher that makes him a not easy opponent so Inoue should prepare unto this fight so that he can get a good finish just like what he did to other great boxer and latest which is Donaire where he win via TKO. I'm more interested with Inoue vs Fulton than Fulton Vs Figueroa since for sure this is more exciting match up.
1655  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅🍅 wintomato.com 🍅Dice 🍅 Slots 🍅 Sport Betting on: January 28, 2023, 11:23:58 AM
Speaking of other gambling platforms, they also have a hater or there is someone who is trying to destroy their reputation but they didn't succeed because those casinos didn't receive a negative trust but why wintomato got one? They said it was resolved but why the red trust was still there? They need to look back to see if what they have missed. IMO the casino is still presentable or look more trusted if their trust colour is normal/neutral.

The gambling market might have become bigger because there are so many new gambling sites that came out now but they should not worry because they already established their names early. What more if they can clean their reputation?
for these negative beliefs, I don't fully know what happened to Wintomato's beliefs. but looking at some of the replies it seems there are still a few unresolved issues.

and for cases that are being experienced on this platform, this must be resolved immediately and clean up negative beliefs so that it can become a successful gambling platform in the future like the casinos that are already popular today.

Issues which has not been solve immediately is an indicator that they have poor management and a red flag for players to choose from. Maybe  best for them to settle any issues immediately since this is how a casino can build a reputation since if many people will see them how fast they are solving unwanted issue to their costumers for sure many people will give them good feedback for the action they do. But if they are not seriously looking at those issues and delay it well it indicates that they are not a good casino to select.
1656  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My son, daughter, nephew wants to know about Bitcoin on: January 28, 2023, 10:17:16 AM
I want to know a deep thing from you, I live in a joint family with multiple members including my parents, brothers and sisters, sons and daughters, nephews and nieces. Several people in our family work in cryptocurrency. We always work on Bitcoins and cryptocurrencies with computers and mobile phones. This made my family's young children interested in our work and wanting to know about Bitcoin.

But the problem is that my family's younger children all study in primary label. Should we educate young children about Bitcoin or introduce them to Bitcoin?

Moreover, another important thing is that in my country cryptocurrency i.e. Bitcoin is a completely government banned currency. So should we teach our children about the banned currency?

Moreover, as time progresses, the interest of children towards Bitcoin is increasing day by day.  Would it be reasonable to keep young children away from Bitcoin in the context of my country?

Good to know that many of your family members are into cryptocurrency since it will not be so hard to teach it to other young people since you have your other family member to back you up regarding on other things need to know by your young relatives.

Although your government banned this for now still teach those people who want to learn about it since maybe that government implementation is temporary only and its good that at early stage they already equip with knowledge about cryptocurrency.

I'm curious what kind of jobs you and your family are working? there's no such work on Bitcoin and cryptocurrency except trading.

Cryptocurrency is not limited only on trading since there are type of jobs are shifting on cryptocurrencies as mode of payment. The popular with it is social media management,Virtual assistant, or any other related work which can handle by any other people on cryptocurrency industry.
1657  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Approximately 384 Days until the next Bitcoin halving on: January 27, 2023, 11:46:18 PM
As much as I am waiting for the next halving, am just looking forward for market recovery. I think the btc and crypto community have seen enough bear market that everyone is eagerly looking forward to a more greener and fun market. Things are relatively quiet and slow because of the market situation.
And yes, I have been accumulating btc as much as I can because btc is the best crypto investment you can have.
It will be sad for anyone who could not buy btc at this low price for whatever reason.

People is I think done with those scenarios as the market is climbing back slowly and regaining a good strength for past couple of days. And also once the halving days nearly comes for sure many investor are slowly packing up some bitcoins for them to hold since we always see this pumping once this event happen. For now eventhough green light is on in the market I still believe that its good to accumulate slowly by slowly so that we will have funds for good times to happen and will not left by the train. Its hard to get FOMO when bull run is already happening.

Don't know what's wrong with Poole but likely he's trying to prove he is good or just showing off, too bad for Curry to be triggered like that. I think he should behave more old on his seniors because this isn't the first time he did this kind of attitude.
Showing off most likely, I am glad it ended at his hands too because that erases the mistakes he done. But Steve Kerr should still point it out to him, all the turnovers and poor decisions he is making.
Speaking of Poole, after the game Steph Curry was waiting in the dugout to congratulate the team and Poole was the last one, he made a joke out of the frustration action of Curry throwing his mouthguard. Poole mimics what he did and also threw his mouthguard before he gets near Steph. Hilarious.
https://twitter.com/GoIdenState/status/1618493239786639361?s=20&t=T-JOlfPYJ3ayQEehhxT7Og

If they lose on that segment for sure Curry will get disappointed about what Poole done in that sequence but since they won and Poole got a huge recovery for the mistake he done well that somehow erase the pressure. But still as what you said Kerr still need to correct that since this could start up another heated argument to their rooster and might could destroy their chemistry so coach should do their job to correct their players action next time to avoid their player getting ejected on the game since this is crucial especially if this will happen again to curry.

But it was just one game, Poole was also thinking that he can make it but failed. Good thing in the end he delivered a big win for the team. Curry understand the urgency of winning as they are not in a comfortable standing, and it's a shame that a depending champion would not even make it to the playoffs.

One game is important since it could destroy their relationship especially if the player is hard headed and will not follow the play set or play their role on the team. But since they win it eliminate the tension and now they are back ballin again. Poole shouldn't do it again because its very crucial matter if the same thing will happen and Curry or any other important player will get ejected to the game due to disappointment since this might be the reason to their defeat in a game.
1659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your take on this crypto gambling use case idea? on: January 27, 2023, 11:52:55 AM
Do you think it makes sense if a crypto gambling platform only accepts it's own token for gambling and gambling on it's platform? If the games they offer are one-of-a-kind, new, and addictive wouldn't this make the gambling token very valuable? I am asking on behalf of a friend who wants to build his own crypto gambling project on the blockchain. Will this work? Will this fail? What's your take on this?
^I don't think so because I have seen successful casinos those are accepted a wide variety of coins accepted.
People now are wanted always a convenient way of funding casinos, sometimes convenience and privacy always matter to players who are looking for a good casino. We have here a lot of gambling casinos, and I noticed those casinos successfully making a profit are those that accepted a wide variety of coins and have a lot of games. However, you can try to market it because it depends on how you will manage the marketing strategy, if you search Bustabit and Bustadice, they had 1 one of the games still yet they exist now.
But he can still give it a try to see how the market will react when he launches his casino. If the market response is good enough, he can go ahead with providing more updates on his casino. And if not, that means he will have to reorganize his casino and perhaps adding more coins to the casino could be one way to entice gamblers to try the site again. Having the casino's own token means that the casino has to provide exchange within the casino so gamblers can exchange their coins before starting to play. And it would be even better if casinos could list their casino tokens on reputed exchanges so that people other than gamblers can also benefit from the casino tokens.
When some casino decides to create their token from start, most times it means that it hasn`t enough money and they want to get it selling this token. The token holders usually gas some advantages but the main problem that the price of this token falls down too often. In other ways the gamblers have to make additional actions before the game and it is a bad way to attract gamblers.

Most of this happen since we can see from those casino who own a token on what is the current state of their tokens. But what's important key factor to trust them is their reputation and how their business perform well since it can determine if they can support their created token for long term period. I'm nothing against about those casino creating tokens since somehow they are just expanding their business and maybe that's their way to get additional funds and to widen up their reached to huge crowd in cryptocurrency scene.
