1641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Low marketcap gems with huge potential? on: July 31, 2019, 08:43:20 PM
It is good to search for new opportunities but going for low capital gems with huge potential this every moment when we have the bitcoin halving coming up seems to be doing the wrong thing at the wrong because there are many utilized altcoin which performed beautifully during the current market and during the crypto market blood bath.

1643  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Security / Be Careful What & Where You Backup on: July 29, 2019, 01:48:19 PM

Or burn a CD that includes your private keys and seeds as a safe alternative.

I hardly doubt a burned CD can be deemed as "secure".
I had a good number of faulty CD backup after a certain logn time, with all the data written on those immediately lost.
I wouldn't store anything valuable on a home-burned CD.

I supported what you said cause it something I have experienced before and it hard for me to get over all the important document and private information which worth a fortune lost through private CD burned but what I used now is high-quality flash with fireproof case. However, using the burn CD as s safe alternative is not something bad either
1644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will there be an altseason this year? on: July 29, 2019, 12:19:52 PM
we don't know when will happen the altseason, but I believe it will happen this year maybe in the ber months? hopefully...

what did you mean by the ber months mate ?
can you explain me ?
i think we will see altseason in Q4 this year, but only time can answer our predictions right ?
He's definitely talking about the months Q4 months i.e the months that end with ber (September, October etc) but the altcoin market will be highly manipulated in those months and those months are the best month to accumulated more utilized, potential and highly supported altcoins with bitcoin before it next year.
1645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to buy using Bitcoin on: July 29, 2019, 11:51:32 AM
It's safe to buy with crypto currency but once you sent a payment to the buyer and the transaction is confirmed you cant cancel or get your funds back this is why selecting the right buyer or website which is not scam is very vital in buying with cryptos. However, if it hard for you to select the right site, you can just ask the forum about the best place which you can get mining equipment instead of been scammer victim.

1648  Economy / Economics / Re: Does China Control Bitcoin? on: July 26, 2019, 08:29:41 AM
I think it is the US that has the maximum number of people involved in Bitcoin and other crypto and the maximum of Bitcoin are owned by people in the US. In other words, the US could be able to influence Bitcoin only with an aggregate action. China put a kind of ban over ICOs in the country thereby limiting the amount of crypto startups in the country. So it is up to a great extent under the influence of the US right now.
I  doubt if it is United states, the fact that many people use the USD to trade as pairs for BTC does not mean that they are all from United State, I trade with USD and I am never from there so as many people that you see in this forum too. If the numbers of traders or investors from united states was that much, why would Binance pick up that courage to kick them out? I even learnt that the percentage of US citizens in biance exchange is just 14% .

Therefore,   I don’t think it is United states that controls crypto market neither. We could even say that it is china, because that is where 70%  of the miners are from, and what is crypto without the miners, so these is where we may say the control comes from majorly, even though they don’t have much influence in the market.

Do some diligent research about the information to clear your doubt because the US are picked not because of the USD trading pair and Binance is not the only available crypto exchange site. However,  Binance was founded in the year 2017 and you expect all crypto traders which have been trading since 2015 to leave their trusted exchange and use Binance cause most of the US base crypto traders trust much in coinbase .
Go through their ID verification and you'll see how awesome the exchange is.
1649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coins Delisting on: July 25, 2019, 05:33:32 PM
Can someone please tell me why this good altcoins are getting delisted from bitone exchange?is there any other reasons why coins always get delisted while they have good volume?

I'm confused because quantstamp and status aint bad at all, they have good marketcap and good volumes

After a while of searching, I found BigOne users mostly from China. And maybe their users don't trade these altcoin much. So they decided to delist them
That will definitely be the reason behind the delisting of the mentioned coins because every crypto exchanges site has their rules and regulation about coin delisting. Besides, some of the coins are traded on some top exchange site but the delisting news has already affected the coins price in the market.

1651  Economy / Economics / Re: Does China Control Bitcoin? on: July 24, 2019, 05:52:59 PM
I don't understand these "strong ideological motives". Why would anyone pay to try to "destroy" bitcoin when they might as well make more money while mining.
Few double spends doesn't destroy bitcoin and they would cost a fortune. I mean why would people support their chain after that? This is just fud. Or the publication has a weak understanding on how the bitcoin works.
Firstly the question about if China control bitcoin is a long time question which have been asked when the Chinese government havent place some restriction on crypto currencies and the answer is no organization, governments or group control bitcoin except the crypto communities.

Secondly, the ideological reason behind the destruction of an asset is done by group, companies or organization which sees bitcoin as an obstacle to their own investment or business and these are also the reason why 51% attack happened to some crypto currency..
1652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Small Cap Alts Speculation on: July 23, 2019, 11:55:55 PM

ANKR is good. If you noticed it the volume everyday is more than its marketcap.  Grin  Seeing it being in the tons of exchanges, it should be a good coin to start with and very cheap too so you can definitely profit here even if the price just hit about 5 cents.
A coin slot on capital market or amount of exchange site where the coin was listed doesn't mean the coin had the require attribute of been future promised coin cause the team involved abilities and what the project has to offer to the crypto community sometimes determine the future of a coin or project.
Mind you, the coin has lost -30.71% right now.

I'm not sure I understand the project though but seem like the fog or SOMN project.
I don't understand if you're trying to pump your pet coin but I'm surprised and feel curious why you choose to recommend a coin which you barely understand the project concept.
For your information, the concept behind the coin creation was building of cloud ecosystem, decentralized cloud computing etc.

1653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO can be a safer investment option than ICO on: July 23, 2019, 11:37:37 PM
Hello Everyone,

There's so many users on this forum who take ICO investment as a earning source and honestly its never been so easy to make handsome profits from every ICO projects. As we all know that recently ICO scam has been a common issue where in every week scam accusation section getting crowded with these ICO scam related thread.

Investment safety is the most important thing for a investor. Everyone will be glad to know worldwide crypto exchanges have started IEO system for upcoming crypto projects where I think its a safer investment way for a crypto investor. Recently some famous exchanges are running this Initial Exchange Offering and they are;

1. Binance
2. Bittrex
3. kucoin

As a crypto investor I personally believe that this system is pretty much safer than ICO. Basically investors had to think about a lot of things before putting their fund on a ICO project such as research whitepaper, project Accuracy, team members and many more. In case if a project can't be able to be listed on exchanges then its another big problem for the investor. But this new IEO system has made this easier for investors IMO. Where recent Binance launchpad Projects gain 10x price from the starting price.

I am not encouraging you guys to make IEO investment but just trying to show a safer way where there is lower chance to be scammed.
IEO is like gambling, I have not noticed the safety from the IEO. Very few people can buy the IEO and the rest will be reduced by 15% - 20% of their accounts are dumped after the IEO.
Even buying an IEO is not necessarily safe, try looking at the VBK of the bittrex exchange, do you know how many times it has decreased since selling the IEO. I don't like IEO, and I advise you to stay away from it.
IEOs is a win/lose investment because the exchange site where the IEO is launch stands as a middle person between the project owners and investors just like the escrow service provider and their job is to make sure both sides get their asset. But, the losing side is the investors not doing his own concrete research about the future promising of the project.
1654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman on July 20 on: July 23, 2019, 11:23:02 PM
I’ve heard Errol Spence Jr./Terence Crawford to be the exact next that Manny Pacquaio will fight... just some humor & a slight chance to be the next. Actually I don’t know quite yet who are these 2 growing professional boxers. But looking at their record are very impressive and Errol Spence Jr is a southpaw type of boxer also... could he be the next manny pacquiao? Roll Eyes

Terence Crawford is one of the dominant boxers today. Him being young and currently on peak has an advantage if ever he will fight Manny Pacquiao.

But I think he is playing safe and dodging any discussions related on his name being brought up as the next Pacquaio's opponent. He never showed an interest to the fight. He is one of the choices before the Thurman fight but just silent. And now that he just saw how Pacquaio gave dirt to the clean record of Keith Thurman, he surely realized that this legend still a big threat even for young boxers.

We also have to understand that Bud Crawford is under Top Rank. And Bob Arum is known to protect his cash cow, just like he did to Manny Pacquiao before so I don't think Bob is willing to put Crawford vs Pacquiao.

Manny will likely fight on the stable of PBC (Premier Boxing Champions), which has a lot of good welterweight fighters.

Ok so let's see whose under PBC right now.

1. Keith Thurman
2. Danny Garcia
3. Amir Khan
4. Shawn Porter
5. Errol Spence Jr.

Who do you guys think will be Manny facing?. He has the belt right now so guys will be chasing him.
A lot of fighters will be chasing after Manny but I think the person that has the huge chance of facing Manny is Amir Khan but the respond of Mayweather will determine if Manny next fight will be against Amir since Manny have asked for a rematch ever since his fight against Broner but things seems not to be working out.

1656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think a "winning mindset" can get you what you want while gambling? on: July 23, 2019, 06:49:31 PM
I have met various personalities and few of them guided me on how to win in gambling. Those guys told me that "If you have got a winning mindset with no negativity in your mind, you are about to start a journey where you will see higher chances of winning over losing."

Is it like meditation where you must focus on your goal and make yourself prepared for the game before starting to play it? I had good experiences till now while following this strategy. It doesn't mean I never lose but chances of winning are really high.

Yes winning mindset can get me a winner because l focus on what l want to get.And l believe l can do it true faith in my mind.I will have the luck to win in every game
You might be right but having a winning mindset is just something that will inspire a gambler. Although, it still needed in some gambling but it still not the main thing that will hit the jackpot for experience and how to gambling profitable are what make a gambler a winner because we have seen a gambler who won 100 grand and later lose it all.
1657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 23, 2019, 05:09:56 PM
Do you football guys consider Ronaldo or Messi to be the greatest of all time?  I think messi tends to get overrated because people love that he is a short guy underdog while Ronaldo is a physical beast.
Ronaldo is a hard worker, even at the age of 34 he is thinking of ways to improve physically. Messi has more talent, the ball gets stuck to his feet. The way he understands the movements of the opposition is unbelievable.

If you are looking at overall work rate and training - Ronaldo is the winner.
In terms of share talent and vision - Messi is better.

I think Messi is the 2nd greatest player of all time and Cristiano Ronaldo is the greatest.  Legends like Pele and Maradona get overrated and they would never be able to compete at the level of athletes today with how physically fit they are.
The two players are good and wonderful in the field of play but I don't see Ronaldo are the greatest player as you said. However, the two players speak through football in varieties way and if we are talking about the greatest player such player must be someone who can shape a match into something else (alone) which Messi had such capacity.
Speaking of the legend footballers you mentioned above, I don't see any reason why they are overrated because they are the one the led the path for Messi, Ronaldo etc, by creating dribbling strategy which was modernized by Messi and the rest today.

Any news about Neymar transfer deal?
1658  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: July 23, 2019, 04:49:47 PM
This will be a good match if it's going to be true, however, I doubt that Floyd will come back from retirement so that he can fight with Manny again. I saw the interview with his friend after Manny's Fight this Saturday that he is living a wealthy life right now doesn't want to prove himself anymore.

But if they want this Fight to happen, I recommend not to fight him in vegas as we saw there is no real Judge their If Thurman didn't kiss the floor on the first round, he might win that fight we can see that clearly Judges there are not just.
With my own presumption, the fight will happen because the fighter still has some unfinished business and Pacman still never accept all the previous defeat he had fighting Mayweather in other hand Mayweather is always already for every fight which will be program as he wants it. So, if the fight will happen according to his plan he will fight Pacman but he won't if it against his plan.
Meanwhile, I read a prediction made by Andy Ruiz that Pacman will win the rematch and this means the fight will definitely happen.
1659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman on July 20 on: July 23, 2019, 12:38:48 AM

Didn't think he was so hard up for cash already, lol. Maybe he is paid in free shawarma for life.
A fighter with huge business mind like May weather won't sign a deal of free shawarma for life cause I'm sure he will go for something more better.

LOL. It was a joke! I just don't know how else a local shawarma chain could command his salary.
Oh my God! I can't believe I actually fall for it.

A fighter with huge business mind like May weather won't sign a deal of free shawarma for life cause I'm sure he will go for something more better.

His mind may be a lot of things, but "huge" isn't one of them. The dude can barely read. He has a lot of financial managers that get a cut of every promotional deal he does, so they naturally encourage him to take everything that's thrown at him. This includes promoting soap apparently, as well as a a fraudulent ICO, for which he was eventually fined $500,000 by the SEC.

I heard about the news but I don't dive into the whole story cause such situation will definitely happen to every business which always after the fund involve which I believed was also the reason why his yet to retire.
Congratulation to all Pacman fan.
1660  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN Will hit 1 Million $$$ ? What do you think ? on: July 22, 2019, 11:54:08 PM
What does it matter how much fiat people think it is worth?
What is the difference between 1 x 0 or 100,000,000 x 0 or 100,000,000,000 x 0?

At the end of the day 1 btc = 1 btc
Although, 1btc will still be 1btc but if Bitcoin clinch the price range predicted it does matter cause it shows that Bitcoin does proof the reason behind it creation and the governments which are against and thought of it as scam will later take back their false/FUD statement.
