1641  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Man Who Runs the World’s Biggest File-Sharing Site Has Been Arrested on: July 23, 2016, 08:39:05 PM
Not a good news to start our day.

The U.S. Department of Justice (DoJ) is seeking to extradite Ukrainian national Artem Vaulin who was arrested in Poland on Wednesday and is believed to be the man behind Kickass Torrents, the most popular site for peer-to-peer file sharing.

Damn and because of this the site is down. Goodbye kickass, I hope Artem Vaulin will not have a hard time in jail. Thanks for everything man you helped many because of your site even if it is illegal. I do hope that in the future his site will be up and rocking again but it will not be since the owner is gone so the site. I do hope that someday Artem Vaulin will be out of the jail again.
1642  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: WHAT CAN I DO WITH 0.1 BTC ?? on: July 23, 2016, 12:53:43 PM
To be honest man there's no good investment you can do if your a newbie. Well gambling ain't good but for others is good but I recommend you to stay away from it since it's fast to lose money in gambling. I also don't recommend you to do some altcoin trading since your a newbie and it will take a long time for you to learn about it. Well I think the best course of action for you now is to work with your post quality and rank up your account. If it has a high rank, then join in a signature campaign and just convert that bitcoin to fiat man.  Grin
1643  Other / Politics & Society / Re: what is your position in society? on: July 23, 2016, 12:05:33 PM
For my position in my society I think it's just intermediate. I can only afford to buy what I like when it is not expensive but when it is expensive I cant buy it. I got good education for now though since I am a scholar and currently a senior high school at Philippines. Well I do hope that my position in society improves when I start looking for job or start thinking of opening a business after I graduate.
1644  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Robots vs Human Who gonna Win in the Future; on: July 22, 2016, 09:22:45 PM
In my opinion humans are gonna win in the future if humans and robot fight. Humans makes mistakes though robots are only one of humans creation and humans brain are more powerful than a robot since humans are the creator of robots. We can make a lazer guns that only affects robots and many more weapons that are robot deadly Cheesy we can even infect them all virus and make them self destruct.  Grin
1645  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do Atheists hate Religion ? on: July 21, 2016, 11:35:33 AM
I dont know exactly why Atheists hate religion but I think there are several reasons. The first reason is that they don't believe that Gods Exist. They believe that bible was made only by humans and created by another humans to fool another human but I may be wrong since this thing im saying is just my hypothesis. Lastly, They hate religion because they believe every miracle can be explained by science I think. Correct me if im wrong but I may be wrong.
1646  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The less you own, the more you have on: July 21, 2016, 11:04:07 AM
Well I think I agree with you. The less you own is equal to pleasure since you don't need to worry about many things. I guess we bitcoiners need few things to live daily life. The first thing of course I think is laptop and modem to earn some bitcoin. The second and last thing is cooking equipments and bed to sleep and electricity too. I guess living like that seems good to do with a modified camping van.  Grin
1647  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you think Facebook is responsible for the content posted by their users? on: July 21, 2016, 10:16:42 AM
In my opinion facebook is not responsible for the content posted by their users because of several reasons. The first reason is that the user is the one who post not them so they should not be responsible for the content posted by their users. The second reason is that since facebook is automated the posting filter is done by bots. The third and last reason is that they have the ToS, and the users must have read it and they should follow according to it. I suggest facebook though to prioritize moderation than advertisements.
1648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever paid more than $700/BTC for any amount of Bitcoin? on: July 21, 2016, 09:21:46 AM
I think I haven't paid more than that for any amount of bitcoin. Well if I remember it correctly the highest price I set when im buying bitcoin is less than 300$ nothing more nothing less. If it is above that I don't buy even a penny worth of bitcoin. I just stockpile and earn via free methods if the price is above 300$ since I don't want to buy any bitcoin above that price.
1649  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do u know someone who owns 1000 Bitcoin or more? on: July 20, 2016, 12:31:59 PM
I know someone who owns that much of bitcoin. He used to be kind to others and easy to chat with when he didn't know bitcoin. Since he started earning so many bitcoin at once well he's still good but he's not that kind compared to what he used to be. Now he isn't easy to talk with because in a chat he always trashtalk even if he/she is not offended and even if he offends others he don't care not like he used to be kind and easy to talk to. Well I guess owning so much bitcoin sometimes changes personality.
1650  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would customers use Bitcoins? on: July 16, 2016, 11:57:52 AM
It's easier to pay with bitcoin online or offline man since it is portable and safer than credit cards. Besides that it's more comfortable to pay with on online shopping since you don't need to give the online shop your credit card account details just to buy anything from them. I do hope that someday there will be more merchants that accept bitcoin online for online shopping to be easier for bitcoiners.
1651  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: July 16, 2016, 11:26:29 AM
Bitcoin is being used for many illegal activities man because of the anonymity it offer to it's user. One place where they use bitcoin for illegal activities is the dark net. As I type this reply here now, They use bitcoin there for buying illegal goods and services. Well there's other places where they use bitcoin for illegal activities not just in dark net. There are many illegal activities done using bitcoin as a payment method some are just hidden so that they won't get caught.
1652  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you like to pay bills using bitcoins while staying at home? on: July 16, 2016, 10:49:41 AM
Here in Philippines I do pay some of my bills using bitcoins while staying at home. It is more convenient since I don't need to fall in line and get out of my house to pay a bill, Since I can do it in my bitcoin web wallet.  Grin Aside from it, it saves money since bitcoin can be bought for a low price or can be earned for free then use it to pay bills, that way I minimize my expenses in bills too.
1653  Other / Archival / Re: Do you use bitcoin as currency or investment? on: July 16, 2016, 10:09:36 AM
For me it is both. I use my bitcoin to invest in many sites and do altcoin trading, and bitcoin to fiat trading and many more things where my bitcoin can profit. I also use bitcoin for online shopping. It is great to use and because of it I don't need any credit card at all. But if you'll ask me what I always use, I guess I always use bitcoin for investment to earn and profit.
1654  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: July 16, 2016, 09:26:35 AM
If you'll ask me between bank or a bitcoin wallet, Ill say it depends. If it were for investment feature I guess ill go into bitcoin since the interest offered by banks are quite low. In bitcoin the price is very volatile so if you buy at a very low price then it pumped then you have your money with profit if you convert to fiat again. Well if it were to be used to store my money, Ill pick bank since banks are more secure than a bitcoin wallet. If you lost money in banks, they can be held liable in law but if you were to lose money in bitcoin, no one can be deemed guilty.  Grin
1655  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: July 16, 2016, 08:45:56 AM
I don't think quitting my day job to go full time on bitcoin is I think the biggest mistake that I will make in my life if Ill do that. I think that way because ofone reasons. Even if you can earn good going full time on bitcoin, A day job is better since the rate of your income there is fixed not like income in bitcoin it is not fixed because of volatile price. You can easily go bankrupt in a bitcoin job too since it the price doesn't always go the way you want it to be.
1656  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your least favorite thing about Bitcoin? on: July 16, 2016, 07:56:04 AM
I like all the facts in bitcoin. It being decentralized, anonymous and easy to use. It is also portable. The only thing I don't like in bitcoin though is sometimes the slow confirmation time that is a bother when you need your bitcoins fast. It can be pretty irritating if you are waiting long for your transaction to get a confirmation and you need it fast for an emergency. Well higher fees solve it sometimes but sometimes it isn't.
1657  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2017 Year of the Bitcoin on: July 16, 2016, 06:58:47 AM
I don't expect a price increase in bitcoin because it's hard to tell what will really happen in the future. In my opinion there are just two possibilities that might happen in that year. It is either rise a little from the all time high in 2016 or the price will be lower. Well if there will be a price increase in that year it would be great but don't expect too much because expecting too much hurts.
1658  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Currency Wars: Governments Hoarding BTC on: July 16, 2016, 06:20:07 AM
I think that in the future it would be possible for government to hoard BTC especially China. Before that thing happens, I think there will be some bitcoin features that needs to be changed. The first thing that needs to be changed is the market cap to suffice all who want to enter bitcoin. The second thing that needs to be changed is that the confirmation time. It will need to be faster to be able to attract those big countries. The third and last thing that needs to be changed in it is the mining process. Well if there would be more miners in that time it would be profitable if it wouldn't be changed, then miners wouldn't earn profit with the difficulty it might have in the future.
1659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If no one spends bitcoin what might happen? on: July 16, 2016, 04:48:48 AM
Nothing would happen. As far as I can tell no one spends it now. Everyone is just holding for a price increase.
I think I would have to disagree with you since not all bitcoiners hold their bitcoins now some convert it to fiat and some use it to buy some things on deepweb as I am talking. Well if no one will really spend bitcoin there there wouldn't be a price increase or decrease I think since it is a free market and it depends on buy and sell orders of those who want to buy and those who want to sell.
1660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the probability of Bitcoin being replaced? on: July 16, 2016, 04:04:17 AM
The probability of bitcoin being replaced for now is low. Maybe in the next 20 years the probability of it being replaced is bigger but still low in my opinion. I also think that Ethereum wouldn't replace bitcoin since it is not that portable to use for now but there's a low probability that it will replace bitcoin but having faith on it is hard since the probability of it getting even near to bitcoin is low.
