1641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Combine Finance - Best of Defi's | Presale in a week [ICO] on: September 03, 2020, 11:36:07 PM
We will post the date once we reach 600 members on our server. Join our server to stay posted.
The initial Supply will be 1800 COMB when listed

Are you trying to say that there will be more supply after being listed? And wait, why do you need to wait for 600 members before announcing such critical information?

That decision doesn't make sense to me also. Why wait for such number before giving vital info to the public? They can always post important things here in the forum and not just in the discord channel. Because not all people are comfortable in joining a lot of channels. Unless, they are being privy with some things and that is not good. So be careful to those who will join the quest here.  As there are so many DeFi projects right now, they will do everything possible to attract investors and make promises that will not be fulfilled.
1642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔵🔵🔵 [ANN] - Crypto Bharat Coin (CBC) IEO IS IVE ON PROBIT! 🔵🔵🔵 on: September 03, 2020, 10:52:35 PM
By the way Cryptobharat token allows paying online bills, ticketing booking and mobile recharge services. All of this can be very useful in our days

yes, thats will be useful buddy
but if people accepting this altcoin for daily used, an i think the key is marketing,
if this project can do a good marketing strategy, for sure this project will be huge

A lot of alts have the mission to be accepted in the payment sector. However, they failed mostly in attracting merchants to be on board. From their roadmap, I haven't seen any item focusing on how to get those companies utilize this coin for payment. Because as much as possible, they should start collaborating with local merchants about this payment and as early as possible, introduce their coin in their system. Because without those potential commercial partners, the project will just end up in trading.
1643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: FACT FINANCE - Bringing TRUE DeFi to the Industry! on: September 03, 2020, 04:54:56 PM
Financial Active Collateral Token is an upcoming DeFi staking and lending financial ecosystem which is built by professionals who understand the current problems of the crypto lending and borrowing industry.

If it is built by professionals, where are their team members? It is not published on their website. Also, their 11-page whitepaper is really not written in a very technical or professional manner. A 12th grader can very much write this paper. If the OP is not part of the team, then how can users here get direct answer from the team themselves? Because clarifications and other queries will be thrown here, and yet, there's no representative from the project that can address the question.
1644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: SBXtoken.io[Sports Betting Marketplace][DEFI][UNISWAP LISTING] on: September 02, 2020, 11:43:54 PM
I was wondering what is the connection of this project with the Degenerate Platform (DGN) project?

From what I see, the DGN platform project is now defunct and you have copied verbatim their whitepaper and taken their domain name without any explanation or reference. Are you the same owners (authors) of both projects?

@vella85, why do you think this project could be successful since it is a copy/paste of an old project and doesn't bring anything new to the table?

It was re branded from DGN to now SBX. Well I liked that SBX will be implemented on AceDBets which is what I said in my previous post and once AceDBets get everything right and release their new update, it could really start to take off and bring SBX with it. No one knows for sure what will happen with any project and anyway I was willing to take a small risk and will watch it play out. I've never heard of this verbatim so I can't answer you on that.

They re-branded to accommodate this DeFi hype and then the Uniswap listing. So using the old whitepaper is not new here. Because they have no time to make one. We all know that right now, everyone wants to get in with this DeFi hype. So it is only a matter of time how long they can survive this hype and will they truly implement their mission here as being the sportsbetting marketplace?
1645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Police reportedly seize South Korea's largest crypto exchange Bithumb on: September 02, 2020, 10:33:46 PM
In August the same police had taken action against coinbit. The reason was different from this. But it is curious how actions of this type are becoming more frequent. The question is: Would they have the same attitude against banks?

HSBC is still standing after all the proven complaints about international money laundering.

An action of this type and with this truculence affects several people worldwide. And those who receive this informatioin advance can make millions. If this pattern by the government continues, it will be bad for the market. This country is an important part of an entire ecosystem having several exchanges between the main and largest in the world.

https://www.coindesk.com/south-korea-crypto-exchange-coinbit-seized-allegations-fraud-wash-trading

Maybe there are investors that tipped the police to do this raid. Because if you are an investor and lost millions, what are you gonna do? Of course, as much as possible you want to recover it from the individuals or team involved and if your action is futile, you will go to the authorities. Because the authorities will not have an idea of what's happening if no one will give them the situation at hand. So kudos to their police, because they are really doing their job and not influenced by any corruption. Bithumb is really known SK crypto exchange. So this move, is really welcome to the community and will serve as a warning to other crypto exchanges located in their country to avoid trade manipulation and other illegal activities.
1646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] QOOBER - Future of Digital Currency | Official Thread on: September 02, 2020, 09:18:14 PM
QOOBER's aim is to integrate blockchain with everyday life.

I must disappoint you. You are not the first guys to have such a goal. And everyone knows strong coins that have not yet succeeded in doing this.

And since this thread is not gaining attention from the community, I don't think they will have success in implementing their goal to be included in the payment system.

Also, they have long list to be accomplished this quarter. How many of these items have been completed by the team?

1647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DexTrust | A decentralized exchange backed by Community (Trade on Uniswap) on: September 02, 2020, 11:20:28 AM
I saw on the Dextrust site, that this project has 5 teams, but the team's profile photo has not been displayed, nor is their Linkedin account or social media account. when will you update the information?

The team is anonymous for now, we decide to be private as the attention might be too much and might interfere with our normal lifestyle,  that is why we used LID to lock 3000 eth forever to give the investors confidence that we are here to stay.

When do you think will be the right time for you to disclose your team members? Because right now, the competition is really getting tougher and if it is an exchange backed by the community, sometimes sustaining their interest will be one of your main challenges here. Also, are you sure that 3000 eth can be locked forever? Please define forever here.
1648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Celebrity Owned TIDAL Purchased $7 Million Worth of Sensorium Social VR Platform on: September 02, 2020, 12:39:46 AM
I think this table below will help understand what is the use case of their token.
You might want to cite the source of that table, else it's a form of plagiarism--I dug further into the link in the OP and found it at https://sensoriumxr.com/senso-token.  Just include that in your post.

I do appreciate the info, and I probably shouldn't have been so lazy to not click on the links.  Not that I completely understand the business of VR entertainment(?).  I'm a Gen X'er who hasn't exactly kept up on these new-fangled technotainment products or how they're involved with cryptocurrency, so I apologize for my ignorance and sloth.

Yes, thanks for that. Included the site where I got those info. No need for apologies or whatever you call it.  Tongue  We have a lot of things to learn in this life and no one can ever catch up with all these advancements in technology.

The $7M amount is really not big if you are talking with known artists being involved. Even one of them can shell out that amount easily.
Hey, that's what I said!

Haha yeah, I realized that. Just re-phrase what you said.
1649  Economy / Economics / Re: New life and 2 lind of society new Reality working poor on: September 01, 2020, 11:55:32 PM
Dear OP,

This post looks like a little paradox to me. Are you referring to the  new world order by the Illuminati elites that conspiracy theorists are talking from some time now?

I am just wondering if you can provide some justification explanation to support your statement? How exactly is it easier to become wealthy?

Regards,
Avikz

Honestly, I don't see any substantial content of what the OP posted. What is he trying to convey with those statements? I don't see where is he coming from, why is he giving those empty statements?

Will this involves selling your soul for the demon in exchange of wealth? Or are you encouraging in commiting crime such as stealing money?
Your post sounds like that to me.
Nevertheless, staying in the middle class doing decent work and have a good life, well that's more than satisfying to me. That being filthy rich but with the darkest intentions behind it. Not unless if you run a decent business and get very rich.

Exactly! Better live a simple life rather than being filthy rich with no peace and contentment in life. Living simply is one way to go to find your inner peace and not aim for material things in life.
1650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Defi.Trade | Optimized for CFD Trading on: September 01, 2020, 11:12:36 PM
scam,team not real peoples
Is it true? Because I also suspect that their telegram group is filled with bots and meme content, if you can attach evidence or a thread stating that this project is a scam, so bitcointalk users who have high trust can flag Defi Trade account.

tvplus006 had posted evidences in this warning thread. 3 of its team members are fake.

Because defi hyip is just too much to let it pass by these scammers, they are in the hurry to scam investors. If the tream will continue to promote in the social media, this will still get some money from unsuspecting crypto users. Bounty hunters should also known this discovery and stop promoting this one.

Another DeFi project taking advantage of the hype. Let's wait what kind of reasoning will the team tell us about these fake photos.

And also, don't mislead traders/crypto users/newbies with the tagline as the "world-leading decentralized exchange". Don't self-proclaim if you have nothing in your portfolio yet. And fix your fake team profiles first before claiming to be world's best.

1651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Celebrity Owned TIDAL Purchased $7 Million Worth of Sensorium Social VR Platform on: September 01, 2020, 10:07:26 PM
Alright, I read that article and I just don't understand what the function of the token is, and it didn't even get that much of a mention aside from the intro paragraph.  What is the token supposed to do for the celebrities and their virtual reality rave party plans?  Is it going to be like an admission ticket?  If that's the case, is a new token even necessary?

I don't know.  This all sounds like hyped up horse shit to me, but perhaps my attitude is biased by the fact that I don't listen to any of those artists.  However, did I miss a crucial fact about the importance of cryptocurrency to this plan except for the fact that TIDAL bought $7 million worth of SENSO tokens?

That amount is peanuts for a group of musicians/celebs like the ones listed.  It would be peanuts for any single one of them, in fact.

I think this table below will help understand what is the use case of their token. And yes, purchasing digital tickets for virtual concerts/events or you call it rave party is one of the use cases.

The $7M amount is really not big if you are talking with known artists being involved. Even one of them can shell out that amount easily. But with other artists involved, it will give the project more exposure as their followers will check out this also. Aside from that if you checked their wp, they have long list of their alliances already, can be found in the last page of their whitepaper.

But how far can they influence the crypto market? We don't know yet...

1652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum overpower Bitcoin in the future? Which side are you on? on: September 01, 2020, 02:34:10 PM
Why are people still acting like Bitcoin and Ethereum are mutually exclusive, or even competitors at all? Ethereum obviously wants to evolve into being "the world's computer", even Vitalik Buterin obviously admits it - a platform using blockchain technology for things like DApps and DeFi. This is not something bitcoin was designed to do, the two cryptocurrencies have very different use cases.

Comparing them is really not worthwhile at all as they are serving two different paths in crypto. And we should be grateful for the existence of these two important networks in the crypto community.  And of course, we are indebted with the creation of bitcoin network, where it all began. There will be businesses that will benefit from eth network while there are some that will stick to bitcoin. It relies on what type of business and customers they are looking at. Eth as you pointed out, DApps and DeFi will be their major customers while businesses that do think of the popularity aspect, will prefer bitcoin.
1653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔵🔵🔵 YFIB NEW balancer token YFIBALANCER 🔥🔥🔥PRE SALE🔥🔥🔥 on: September 01, 2020, 11:28:36 AM
PRE-SALE has been announced already, but there are still not much information about project and token, hope it will change in the future

Really desperate move from these defi creators banking on naive users that will jump in the current hype of DeFis. I don't understand why some investors are blindly spending their money to empty promises of projects. If you will check their token contract, there are about 260 holders at this moment. So is it mostly owned by the team or are there users that already sent money to them in exchange of their token?

1654  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Research and Experience, There’s No Other Way! on: August 31, 2020, 11:56:25 PM
Even though understanding is very necessary in every thing one decides to do, I believe we can always limit our understanding to the most important aspects. In the case of bitcoin what I needed to know most were:
1. What is it?
2. How does it work?
3. What are it’s merits and demerits?
4. How useful is it to me?
5. How do I get it?
Most of the times, we do not need to know everything. A little above what meets our needs is always okay.

I agree, but when you go deeper and explore your opportunities with other alts, you need to know more than the basic information. But to start with your crypto journey, those above questions will guide you on how to acquire those info. Because if you overwhelm yourself with things you want to know, it will not be healthy in my opinion. As you will tend to make mistakes in your decisions and overlook important things that you need to consider in the first place.
1655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: YEARN PROTOCOL FINANCE (YPTF) DEFI & STAKE on: August 31, 2020, 11:07:47 PM
SCAM ALERT

This project is using other people's identity on their team and have active scam accusation against them. Before investing on this project please visit the thread and check everything from your end.

Here is the thread link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5272650.0

Busted early! Using fake team and using the popularity of yearn.finance project. But I really don't understand about this YFI hype, price is mind-boggling for no valid reason. But with the discovery of this project using fake team, we know that this project is using the current hype to screw gullible users. So I guess, people should stay away from this and if not convince, do your own due diligence and see for yourself if this is really worth taking your risk.
1656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you going to buy into these high rising defi coins now? on: August 31, 2020, 10:11:47 PM
I respect the existence of the Defi project in crypto market because they actually make crypto to be notice by real world market investors but I consider Defi market to highly manipulated which is the reason why I never invest in any and I will advise people that already invest in it to be very observant.
The most talk about Defi is now YFI.

I have the same sentiments when it comes to DeFi. And as you mentioned this YFI project, I myself, also got curious as to why this project exceeded the price of bitcoin. So I checked their website, and unfortunately, in my opinion, there is no solid reason why they are pumping like there's no tomorrow. It says their project is in beta so why this commotion on this project? I believe there is a group manipulating the price in the market so one should really be careful in jumping on this one. Because this is quite suspicious for me. And just like other DeFis, most of them have plagiarized whitepaper so it means they are launched in a hurry, maybe just to jump on the hype and not care if people will be rekt.
1657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Kulupu - On-chain Governance, Online Upgrade, WebAssembly, PoW RandomX on: August 31, 2020, 01:42:21 PM

Look at the order book of this coin. Who would have thought that this coin will reach about 45cents after almost a year of inactivity here? Lucky for those who mined and believed that this coin will hit in the market. But since the trading just commenced, expect that in few weeks, the price may go down and may see the true value of this coin. So be ready for what may happen in the next few weeks if you are seriously investing on this coin.

The price is getting better. After 3 weeks that I posted the above message, the price has risen a lot. The profit for those who bought even this first week of August are already enjoying their gains. But where are the supporters of this coin, are they active more on social media like telegram because this thread is not so active. Are they keeping their profits within themselves?  Grin Will the price continue its upward growth?

1658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DistX - The most rewarding and flexible token sale platform $DISTX on: August 31, 2020, 11:44:50 AM
I have been involved in some many projects from bounty to ICO participation last 2017 and I can say this new defi has really a huge potential I visited the website and contents are mind blowing like the mixing service of erc20 tokens first time I heard such kind of mixing service in eth assets, Goodluck to team we are mooning.
I missed the sales. I never gonna bought an overprice tokens. How is the ratio of presale and private sale?
Its not an overprice mate buying in an exchange in the first few days of listing is still very early if you will read the usecase you will hold it for months and you will see the result believe me seen it in too many projects this strategy is 100% working buy and hodl have patience, investment takes time not in 24 hours or a week.

With the 2500 eth raised during their presale, they can already accomplish a lot of things to fully develop their platform. Let us hope they will use their funds wisely, and prove that there are still quality projects worth supporting for. As their sale was not done publicly, be careful also if some of them will dump once the price is more than their presale price. Nowadays, everyone should be alert on what's going on in every project you are investing with.
1659  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the crypto market saturated? on: August 30, 2020, 11:29:31 PM
Do you think the crypto market is saturated? If not, why? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Smiley
Most of the shitcoins are dying now, and not all cryptocurrency can last longer so I think we are still on a healthy market and not yet saturated. Though, there's a lot of new cryptocurrency sooner or later they will fade away easily and those who made a good service and technology will remain standing and keep pushing until they reach many people through their services. If we'ere saturated, the the market should go lower than expected because of many supply in the market, fortunately not yet.

Very true, with thousands of alts introduced in the crypto community, only few of them are actually popular up until today. And if you check how many of them have real use such as payment method or development platform, you can only count with your fingers the number of alts that are available for that purpose.

So we maybe seeing huge number of alts, but the truth is, small number of them have real usage and are actually being used. So I think, our market is not yet saturated as only few of them are being used according to its objectives.
1660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Combine Finance - Best of Defi Integrated in One Platform. Limited Supply on: August 30, 2020, 10:35:47 PM
This looks to me like some kind of cheap ripoff of Mantra DAO project, as even your tagline "A community-governed DeFi protocol platform focusing on Staking and Governance with limited supply." is the exact copy of Mantra DAO one.
Beside that, there are few other red flags:
  • No mention of team. This "authority attack" is just a cheap excuse imho.
  • No details whatsoever about your project, let alone whitepaper

Overall, to me this looks like just another project that wants to use current hype that is  happening about anything DeFi related without offering anything substantial.

Sure, thing. i agree the tagline was taken from MantraDoa cause that's what we have in our mind. We don't have a copywriter. We have taken inspiration from Multiple places.
Let me explain what else we are trying to copy.
Staking Liquidity - Uniswap/Balancer
Governance - Compound Finance
Vault - Yearn Finance
Advanced Pools - Shrimp Finance.
Limited Supply - Also, Yearn Finance.
You have all the right to be cautious. We are here to make a legit project and not conduct pump and dump or rugpulls.

Only time will uncover your true intentions for this project. As many are launching their respective DeFi-related platform, potential investors should be careful in selecting projects as when you spend money to them, consider it as lost funds because you can't get it right away especially if they are not yet available for trading. Without the basic info from whitepaper or roadmap, we don't know where this project is heading and what they want to achieve. Having limited supply is not an attraction anymore, but real usage in the market.
