Maybe try a less fancy exchange like Cryptonit? Every new alt coin holders will be mailing Bter and they certainly won't pick Goldcoin unless their palms are greased.

Emailed BTER and Cryptonit exchanges asking them to add GLD Coin

1644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Prevent collusive behaviour of GLDCOIN on: May 18, 2013, 04:35:01 PM
Dear members of the forum

It has come to my knowledge that certain individuals are trying to collude to artificially inflate the price of Goldcoins. Such behaviour is frowned upon as it goes against the spirit of the free market.

Let the free market decide, do not dictate a price to a coin!

We love the attention for Goldcoin.

Agreed

Sounds interesting,
How about setting it up as an MLP

http://www.investopedia.com/terms/m/mlp.asp

TL;DR;

Quote
Definition of 'Master Limited Partnership - MLP'
A type of limited partnership that is publicly traded. There are two types of partners in this type of partnership: The limited partner is the person or group that provides the capital to the MLP and receives periodic income distributions from the MLP's cash flow, whereas the general partner is the party responsible for managing the MLP's affairs and receives compensation that is linked to the performance of the venture.

Quote
Investopedia Says
Investopedia explains 'Master Limited Partnership - MLP'
One of the most crucial criteria that must be met in order for a partnership to be legally classified as an MLP is that the partnership must derive most (~90%) of its cash flows from real estate, natural resources and commodities.

The advantage of an MLP is that it combines the tax benefits of a limited partnership (the partnership does not pay taxes from the profit - the money is only taxed when unitholders receive distributions) with the liquidity of a publicly traded company.

Bought today @ 114.50 of what was left in my account in cash and moving them off of MtGox and heading over to BTC-E for now, verifying with coinbase in the meantime.

Also under consideration was the idea of creating a regulated exchange, which would be the world’s first. Such an entity would go some way to addressing concerns about criminality by requiring users to provide proof of identity. An unregulated exchange was set up in London in 2011 but closed a year later after its bank account was shut down.

How much for shipping?

Do you have any details/ideas about cases? What else will be needed to run these units?

Shipping for those is about 0.10 BTC. You will need an external power source, a usb cable for connection to host and a proper cooling solution.

Sweet, count me in for at least 2, thanks terrahash!

According to this page:
http://terrahash.com/?product=4-5-ghsec-module

It looks like you are planning on selling a 4.8GH/s ASIC miner for BTC1.99? (16 chips * 300 MH/s each)

At today's rate of 117.00 that is ~$233.00.

Didnt mean a thing. Its just an old saying in horse racing. Sort of meaning its quick out the gate but can it finish the race. I think those are very respectable numbers. I was just curious to see what your hashrate is after a few hours.

This is about 24 hours on 4 7950s I have mining ltc.   Cool  Cards 1 and 2 are still down on the motherboard till I receive the x16 risers tuesday. I have this unit hosted for a customer.

@zif33rs,
What are your prices for hosted btc and ltc mining?

Care to share your setup and settings for this?

You need to add a date to the topic ^^

Edited... post should be deleted, I didn't realize until after I posted it that it was associated with TerraHash. I thought it was a new company.

I am interested in this:

http://terrahash.com/hosting/

Can you explain it a bit more please?

Quote
The hosting charges are as follows:

4.5 GHash modular boards: $3.00 per month per board.
18 GHash modular boards: $10.00 per month per board.
TerraHash DX Mini: $30.00 per month/unit.
TerraHash DX Large: $50.00 per month/unit.

How many accounts do you expect to get onto each 4.5GH/s board?
If I pay $3.00/Month as suggested above, what is my ROR? How is this calculated?
Can I rent the entire thing myself for $x per month?
