16401  Economy / Speculation / Re: Rally!!!!! on: May 18, 2015, 03:38:36 PM
I smell a dumpz cuming.
i smell that too, and it smells so freaking nice. i am waiting at the bottom with my arms wide open to hug the dumpz Cheesy

to me it just like the usual p&D in the same boring range, 220-250, it's like all shorters's bot are in loop in that range

we will stay there until they decide to move on a different range, you will see it when will happen
16402  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull Market Confirmed, Next Growth Phase Incoming on: May 18, 2015, 03:35:08 PM
i doubt that the fractional reserve dumpers will share your opinion

Bitfinex, Okcoin, Huobi... in one year they will be history if they continue with current doing.

With more and more regulated institutions opening to trade bitcoin, the big money will move there and places like finex, huobi, btc-e etc will have little to no volume. I think your 1 year prediction sounds like a good timeframe.

who in their right mind would do any business with these shady exchanges?  If you do you're asking to lose money at some point.  Coinbase seems to be the most legit yet

i thought that bitfinex was legit? how is it shady? still coinbase and kraken are the best one, not only coinbase like you think
16403  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Should I buy an Antminer s5 ? on: May 18, 2015, 03:32:12 PM
antminers s5 roi is 5 months if bought used, or 6 months if bought new

because we have a earning of about 0.011, so a simple math tells me that this is 0.33 a month

the cost of one of those is 1.5 used and 2 if new

so if nothing change you should roi around november with free electricity
16404  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitmain "Payout Accelerated Cloud Mining Contract" contract ? on: May 18, 2015, 03:30:50 PM
in fact they are legit, they are the best cloud together with bit-x that you would get in right now, no other option if you really want to try cloud mining

you have more freedom with bit-x though, because with hashnest you need to wait to repay your principal

16405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: May 18, 2015, 03:27:26 PM
If you avoid spending them for no reason and if you keep buying them,
I can guarantee to you that you will grow your coins  Grin

I would rather choose to grow my dollars....Bitcoin is not a good long-term investment for me...

dollars is not even a long term investment, it won't rise by much, instead there is a chance that it would decline

at least bitcoin should rise from a mathematical point of view, but we know that nothing is certain
16406  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Transferring money from Argentina to the US on: May 18, 2015, 02:42:47 PM
coinbase are usually reliable, but you can try circle or localbitcoin(only with high trusted users)

but for that amount you need some sort of verification on any exchange
16407  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: gambling..its taking me out.. on: May 18, 2015, 02:03:45 PM
I really hate gambling after loosing all my btc

don't invest money but your time, gamble with it, it's far better and more remunerative, if you are in a good healthy condition you can work for 16 hours a day(a bit stressful i must admit) but it would let you earn a big amount
16408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: High Frequency Trading on the Coinbase Exchange on: May 18, 2015, 12:21:31 PM
he should have moved from there because of the fee that now is at 1%, too high if you ask me
Where did you see that number?

Quote
Taker   0.25%
Maker   0.0%
Source: https://docs.exchange.coinbase.com/#fees

i was talking about funding it of course not about the trading fee, he need to fund it constantly, because of the risk that are involved in leaving your money on exchange

and everytime he lose 1%, maybe not a big deal, but there are better deal with other exchange
16409  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Need a little help on: May 18, 2015, 12:06:06 PM
maintanance fee isn't that high, with bit-x for example is only 0.081 for every 1 tera and for 30 days, so at worse you would need 2 btc to roi which mean 6 months instead of 5, you lose only one month for the fee not a big deal, again not even close to 260 days
16410  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin trading strategy on: May 18, 2015, 11:55:10 AM
Sell in isolated markets where Bitcoin is highly valuable and not readily available. You can find them online, but places like Local Bitcoins and such will only offer competitive rates. Find a market where there is less competition and increase profit margins.
the problem is there is no ppl there who are interested at bitcoin! So it will be difficulty to find a buyer for the high price.

you can try to sell your btc here on the market with a +6% then buy from someone else at 5%, 1% pure profit, this is still trading, it is also done off market so will not influence the over all price so much

it's the best trading you can do, there are only some risk due to scammers that are always around
16411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "North Carolina Bitcoin Legislation Receives Opposition" via BTC.com on: May 18, 2015, 11:27:03 AM
i remember there was a thread like this , anyway i signed it, i hope it will go through

cheers
16412  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Need a little help on: May 18, 2015, 09:21:27 AM
you mean hashnest? the roi should be around 5 months(they said 105 days in their site, but i doubt you can roi in 3.5 months), because they are using antminer s5 if diff does not change

found one example, because it is not clear enough https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=982890.msg10709361#msg10709361

There s no way he can ROI in 5 months with S5. With static diff, ROI is 260 days. With diff increase over 300 days at best.

i think your calculator is broken, one s5 still do 0.01 a day(actually is more... 0.011, the diff dropped a bit), in 5 months your earning is 1.5 btc, with 1.5 btc you can buy 1 used antminers s5 here on the forum, if you want it new then you need 2 btc, and the roi will be extended a bit, but no way it is 260 days

this is assuming that the diff won't rise of course
16413  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Give me your hand, and let me growing up on: May 18, 2015, 09:00:26 AM
if you have zero strat with some rotator, they can help you at the beginning, while you are waiting to raise your activity, then join the best campaign out there and you should start to increase you btc amount more efficiently
there isn't much else you can do, besides maybe selling used stuff here in the market
Rotator=Faucet No No No, i did it a lot later, and for me its just for wasting time all of them are scammer and if thy aren't they just wasting your time for 150 Satoshi.and for  the compaign i joined one last week,it's great,i earn with it more then any time
well you asked for free money basically, the only way to earn free money is investing in time, and right now there is only faucets or signature, or some thing like video viewwing or earn per click webstie
if you have some skill in coding you can sell many thing on the market, usually those guys are in a high demand

i have skill in coding, designing, developping and all these stuff but i never get coins due to that, lately i'had creat a programme that convert btc to his by-product and i got a lot of negative reply like oh its easy, anyone can do it,there a online converter why we will using yours ...............etc

you can try to do a bot that withdrawal for faucets, i actually need it to test something

it should work with 2captcha services, better if it is done in php
16414  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hashnet and cex.io on: May 18, 2015, 07:34:42 AM
hashnet calculations of profit is fucking confusing, it look like not legit at all, go with bit-x they are more transparent for sure

16416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Core 0.10.1 has been released on: May 18, 2015, 07:25:59 AM
even with this version, there is still the problem of the synching hanging there sometimes for too much time, is this just a node releated issue? or something wrong with the client?
16417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gavincoin is old news. Alts rally because people see through the bullshit. on: May 18, 2015, 07:23:48 AM
i think you are trolling, you never made that profit on infinite coin, your post is an attempt to bring us to buy infinite coin so you can cash out, after you bought at the peak a large quantity and because for this, you're sweating cold now

well i don't care about your infiniteshitcoin, they are the real ponzi, they can be manipulated even by a poor chinese, it is the  worst investment that one could ever hope for
16418  Economy / Economics / Re: 2014 Poll: How many bitcoins do you own? on: May 18, 2015, 07:16:22 AM
I am one of the poor on the forum and I have less than 10  Undecided

most people here don't even have 0.2 bitcoin and you say with 10 bitcoins you're poor? i seriously doubt you are serious. keep trolling.

Everything is relative, the Winklevoss guys have 100,000 BTC, yes he is poor compared to them  Wink

and i swear that the twins, find themselves poor too, everyone want always more, no matter how many we have, we would find our situation disparate in any case

i consider my holding poor too, because i wanted at least 100, but i'm still at halfway through
16419  Economy / Economics / Re: What Will it Take For BTC to Reach $1000? on: May 18, 2015, 07:11:30 AM
I think instead that the price will stay stable for a long period, then it could rise or fall down. The great innovation is not btc but blockchain  Roll Eyes

apparently governments and banks did not understand what's good about the blockchain, because they want to centrilize it with their own shitty version

so this whole blockchain adoption, will not bring any good to bitcoin imho, certainly it won't encourage a raising in price, i think it's only a matter of something that will trigger the panic buy

but better to raise slowly and set every time a new floor , than skyrocketing to 1k again, for then assisting at another big crash
I think some of them are trying to understand and exploit its advantage, such as Swiss bank ans Nasdaq etc. They plan to create their own version of blockchain. It has nothing to do with the price increase. Due to the volatile price movement, ppl have no incentive to buy bitcoin. IMO, We need the clear positive policies from govs, more actual implementations, stable price, high security level etc.

funny thing is that if people will not buy bitcoin because of its instability in price then the price will never become stable, because they are the reason for a less volatile price in the future

the issue is that people don't see a reason to buy bitcoin, this is the truth, at this rate, we will never achieve 1k again
16420  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I think I fried my laptop while mining on: May 18, 2015, 07:07:11 AM
Were you trying to mine with your laptops CPU?!?

Really, devs need to pull CPU miners from the repositories, or at least have them display a huge warning when launched. Too many people are hearing still hearing about Bitcoin for the first time and attempting to fire up CPU and GPU miners in search of free money.

he was mining magi probably, if he was aiming at some altcoin, but even doing this is not really profitable, the diff of magi should be very high already

no point in mining with cpu anymore doesn not matter if with bitcoin or altcoin
