16441  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Master-P SCAMMER. I lost complete faith in this forum now. on: January 14, 2016, 05:50:41 PM
less then half funds to repay  until he can come back to bitcoin forum to comtinue to do his escros services.
would you remove his negative feedback if he resolved them all? Roll Eyes

Why do you keep repeating that?

Nothing in Master-P's behavior during this debacle suggests that he's a trustworthy person.

Even if you believe his tales it would mean that the Master-P account is in possession of a hacker and negative trust should not be removed.

And finally - if you would like to use his escrow services you can go right ahead. Negative trust does not ban a user or otherwise prevent from doing business. It's just a warning. Feel free to ignore it.
Yeah I don't think he'll be back to do escrow any time soon.   He says he's done with this community, so he'll probably not be back and even if he did come back no one here trusts him.
16442  Economy / Goods / Re: 1 3DS with games on: January 14, 2016, 02:30:49 AM
Yeah, with all due respect 0.5 is a bit too high.  You might want to see if you can find those games you mentioned, because that's going to impact the selling price.  If you included those games, you might get near your asking price.  Good luck.
16443  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Blue Satoshi - Unlimited Satoshis? on: January 14, 2016, 02:24:03 AM
Don't know about blue satoshi but bluedoge seems to have disappeared from Faucetbox, not sure what happened.  Both are really good faucets and I hate to see the good ones disappear or stop paying.
16444  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Cryptsy Legal Posibilities on: January 14, 2016, 02:20:45 AM
All of you should have voted for #1 and this is why everyone keeps depositing money on exchanges that just run away with it.  They're on their way out, and in another thread I predicted that they'll be offline within a month.  By March at the latest.

Back online like nothing happened?  Who in their right mind is going to keep depositing coins???  Only suckers would do such a thing and I don't think Cryptsy could sustain themselves on suckers alone.
16445  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Watch this out.I found scammer in this form. on: January 14, 2016, 02:16:18 AM
OP, please open up a proper scam accusation, the format which you can find in a sticky at the top of the main page.  And you'll have to post proof of a scam or else no one is going to believe you.  If you were trying to buy the laptop from him on the dark web, it's not surprising if he did try to scam you.

Ebay definitely sucks.
16446  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is there a reason not everyone use Circle/Coinbase to sell BTC in the USA? on: January 14, 2016, 02:07:21 AM
Yeah, anonymity.  That's pretty much the only reason, and people are willing to pay a premium for it.  You have to realize that bitcoin is used quite a bit on dark markets--drugs, child porn, weapons, and all that other stuff, and that makes the purchasers criminals.  Taking care to hide their identity is paramount.

I used Coinbase until they closed my account for a stupid banking mistake I made.  If that didn't happen I'd still be buying and selling with them.  Circle I've never used.  Will have to look into that.
16447  Other / Meta / Re: Whats the deal with Theymos? on: January 14, 2016, 02:04:25 AM
Well, since I can't stand Reddit I could care less what he's doing over there.  He doesn't micromanage this place, or at least I haven't noticed that.  In fact, most of the mods here seem to take a kind of laissez-faire kind of approach and I like that.
16448  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Candle coin wallet has a Trojan virus - Dave4You is probably a hacker on: January 14, 2016, 01:49:26 AM
Ok so am I understanding this correctly?  The only wallet used to hold this shitcoin is a trojan and thus this was a scam from the start?  As I said, I'm a bit non-tech oriented, but this sounds kind of scary.
16449  Economy / Economics / Re: Sell Everything? on: January 14, 2016, 01:39:06 AM
Never listened to Royal Bank of Scotland before.  Won't start now.  Lol, did you have to search long and hard for a doom-and-gloom article like this?  Chances are there's always going to be someone around who's saying such things, like Kwukduck with bitcoins.  They could be right but I'm not worried.
16450  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: need $150 bitcoin - have $150 in paypal on: January 14, 2016, 01:36:16 AM
Bullshit unless OP posts proof and even then, I would strongly advise no one do the deal as he requested.  You're just asking for a chargeback.  Likely a scam attempt by a newbie throwaway account anyway.
16451  Other / Meta / Re: MY BITCOINTALK.ORG ACCOUNT WAS STOLEN on: January 14, 2016, 01:31:42 AM
Well, this forum has been hacked before though I'm not suggesting it was in this case.  You might have picked up a keylogger or something like that, who knows.  I don't.  Be careful and don't trust anything around here.
16452  Other / Meta / Re: Threat and Feedback on: January 14, 2016, 01:29:32 AM
Ironically, this question is been answered thousand times in the forum.
Critically, for your citation, trust isn't moderated unless and until they spam the trust system.
P.S. "Threats/feedbacks" from such people are worthless/useless. Ignore 'em and you'll be fine.
I know, but I'd like to have my account to not have any negative feedback from anyone. Smiley
Good luck with that!  Just by saying that, you are inviting malicious trolls to give you exactly the opposite--and they'll do it because they can.  Without ever having risked a single satoshi.  All of my negative trust came from exactly two trolls who I never did deals with and have nothing to do with anything real.  What they wrote were lies.  Shrug it off and move on.
16453  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: I buy bitcoin for PayPal. on: January 14, 2016, 01:22:41 AM
Aren't you the one who was selling antibiotics for fish?

I don't trust you, but be safe and use an escrow and some other payment method than PayPal or you're going to end up being the victim of a scam.
16454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: are altcoins ready to rally? on: January 14, 2016, 01:21:00 AM
I think altcoins like papers on the stockmarket. They are just for trading. The real one is of course bitcoin for spending.
Yeah I agree they're primarily speculation vehicles.  Absolutely.  But stocks represent earnings of real businesses whereas altcoins don't represent anything and aren't used for anything.  Their value mystifies me, actually, with the exception of a tiny handful (LTC, DOGE) that can actually be used to buy things.
16455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Casualty List on: January 14, 2016, 01:15:26 AM
Wait, what am I missing here about Xapo?  That article is about a fundraising round, which is the exact opposite of becoming a casualty.  Also, Cryptsy still hasn't officially bit the dust yet.  Soon, though.
16456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren Buffet buying bitcoin? on: January 14, 2016, 01:11:01 AM
Unless he's got some inside information about a huge bitcoin price rise, definitely no.  He could certainly afford to be a btc whale if he chose, but I don't see him ever buying bitcoin and he probably isn't going to live a hell of a lot longer.  What a guy though, I really respect him.
16457  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: buymyaccount is trying to scam accounts on: January 14, 2016, 01:08:08 AM
With Vod, I would actually not be surprised if this would work, as there have been a number of instances in which Vod openly admitted to leaving negative trust for personal reasons and removed negative trust once the ownership was changed.
^^Even -47 Trust doesn't stop him from trolling Roll Eyes
I see -15 trust.  You must have added a few people to your trust list.  In any case OP, it doesn't look like a scam at all and your account is basically worth jack shit with the neg trust.  Start over if you can, no?
16458  Economy / Gambling / Re: Professor Explains Why Your Chances Of Winning "Powerball" Are Next To None! on: January 14, 2016, 01:05:12 AM
Someone said that lotteries are a tax on the mathematically-challenged, and I'd agree with that.  Chances are next to zero, and the odds are against you always, so why play at all?  For some people it's fun, but I hate throwing money away like that.
16459  Other / Archival / Re: Vod the trust abuser -remove him - on: January 13, 2016, 08:38:33 PM
Not gonna happen, OP.  Vod does more good than harm and is right more than wrong and doesn't scam.  Those are qualifications enough for DT.  You on the other hand act and write like a defiant child and QS, you've got a grudge against Vod because of his (-) trust on your profile due to the "self-escrow" debacle.
16460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Suspicious of Bitcoin due to this experience on: January 13, 2016, 08:22:35 PM
If anyone needs examples of why bitcoin might just fall on its face, just read this thread.  Ugh.  I swear, it's pain-in-the-ass experiences like this that turn me off, and sometimes it is hard to make purchases with btc for any number of reasons.  OP, hopefully you got your fraction of a bitcoin.
