16561  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are you with or against "the U.K. quits the European Union" ? on: December 22, 2017, 03:56:53 PM
As you may know that UK will have a referendum about whether they will leave the European Union or not.
So I want to know your opinion regarding this issue, SPECIALLY who live in Europe or UK:

Are you with or against "the U.K. quits the European Union" ?

What does it matter?

In democracy, the people, the voters and tax payers are the sovereign. Not some self-appointed activists, tyrants or oligarchs. If british people wish to leave the Euro-Soyuz, then it is their right to do so. Afterall it is them who will reap benefits and drawbacks of decision, not us.

Just my two cents.

I completely agree with you. Once the people make their decision, then it should be final. On the aftermath of the referendum results, there were calls from liberal lobbyists to conduct the referendum once more, so that the decision could be reversed. What sort of logic is this? If you lose an election, what are you going to do? Demand a re-election until you will be declared victorious?

huh? arent "the people" who decide? what would be the problem with a 2nd referendum? if people want to leave they will still vote leave.

majority rules.

The problem is that we are not supposed to repeat the referendum every two weeks. The people had a chance to vote on the EU membership of the United Kingdom, and the overwhelming majority voted to leave. If they want, they can have another referendum after 5 years or 10 years. But definitely not another one in the next 1-2 years.
16562  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think BTC will above 20k start of 2018? on: December 22, 2017, 03:54:09 PM
Everybody ask that BTC below 10k nowadays, but do you think BTC will above 20k start of 2018? should we invest? coz its near to 10k and i sold everythink and wait to below. what do you think about it ?

ın last weeks the price of bitcoin was very high. ıf it increased like last weeks we could say that bitcoin would end year with the price of 20000 dollar. but now the bitcoin is about $ 12,800. it seems difficult to see 20000 dollars in the next week.

Check the charts. The prices are close to $13,500 per coin, after rising by more than 30% during the last two hours. Now tell me one thing. If the prices can rise by 30% in just two hours, can you really rule out them rising by another 50% next week? Right now predicting the future Bitcoin price is just impossible. Can go down by 50%, or it can go up by 50%.
16563  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins dropping! What price point to buy? on: December 22, 2017, 03:51:27 PM
Back above 13 on coinbase right now, I bought a little at 11.5. Hoping things have calmed down. But then I have no fucking clue what I’m doing lol

Yeah... I have noticed the same and I am glued to Bitcoinwisdom site for the last 2 hours. In Coinbase, the prices went up from $10,401 per coin to $13,381 in less than 120 minutes. It is insane. Surely some whales are manipulating the prices. But don't ask me whether the prices are going to stabilize at this levels or not. Honestly, I don't know.
16564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: December 22, 2017, 03:44:17 PM
How can we even consider Bitcoin as a form of currency? In my opinion, it is just an investment asset which cannot be used as a currency due to its extremely high transaction fee and huge delays in getting confirmations. Right now, the minimum fee required for instant confirmation has risen to 970 Satoshis / Byte (according to Bitcoinfees.earn.com), which means that you may pay up to $130 as fee for a single transaction.
16565  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think BTC will above 20k start of 2018? on: December 22, 2017, 03:31:22 PM
Look at the volumes. Those who had purchased their coins at less than 10K per coin have sold their coins and vacated the scene. Now those who remains are long term investors and loyal early adopters. And the prices have climbed by around 25% during the last 1-2 hours, which indicates a small recovery in the exchange rates. So I am optimistic.
16566  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you hate muslems? on: December 22, 2017, 07:08:13 AM
I am Muslim and I am friends with christian, budha, hindu and other religions. we respect each other among the religious people, they love me otherwise I also love them. especially we live in a world that is the earth because we are not racist. i love moslem and i love difference

You are NOT Muslim.
Muslim, Christian, Budha, hindu, and others are NOT a race.
Muslim, Islam is NOT a race.

Islam and Muslims are NOT compatible with ANYONE.
They kill, murder, rape, and discriminate against all NON muslims.

Religion of terror.  Dont make me quote the Quran.

Spot on. If you check the history of Islam, it is clear. There is not a single region in the world, where Islam was spread through peaceful means. Everywhere it was spread through the use of genocides and warfare. And almost comically, they call it the religion of peace. The modus operandi is continuing even now, across the globe.
16567  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is the common cause of poverty? on: December 22, 2017, 06:55:22 AM
Causes for poverty
1. Lack of education
2. Lack of resources
3. International sanctions
4. Invading
5. Internal riots and protests

International sanction can be a major reason, but it is widely ignored by everyone. It's effect was very visible in Iraq, where children were starving from the lack of milk and food after the UN imposed sanctions during the 1990s (after the Iraqis invaded Kuwait). Before the sanctions, Iraq was one of the richest nations in the middle east region.
16568  Other / Politics & Society / Re: World War III ? on: December 22, 2017, 06:52:39 AM
It will happen if superpower countries wont reconcile (and i think reconcialition or agreement is somewhat impossible). I think it will start between China, North Korea and UsA.

If there is a military confrontation between North Korea and the United States, then in all probability Russia and China are going to remain at least nominally neutral. They will never send their soldiers to die as cannon fodder in Korea. However, we can expect North Koreans receiving military trainers and equipment from these nations.
16569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do if Bitcoin Price Crashes on: December 21, 2017, 06:23:00 PM
That is the time to buy more bitcoin. That is what i am hoping for the past month. But it won't gonna happen though. Bitcoin will go down but just a little then it will go up double.

The next major spike may occur after 6-7 months, when NASDAQ will list the Bitcoin futures. Until then, the prices are either going to remain at $15K-16K levels, or going to slide further. I would advice you to wait for a few more days, so that the trend is clear. As long as the scaling issue persists, the price is not going to climb upwards.
16570  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Rape on: December 21, 2017, 05:57:19 PM
Nope, I believe they should has death penalty. All that "she was provoking me" is a silly trick and nobody is buying it.

The definition of this "provocative act" can be quite tricky. For example, in stone age nations such as Afghanistan, if a few strands of the hair is visible outside the burqa, then it is considered as a "provocation". The same will be claimed, if the women are "exposing" their arms or ankles. Even the female voice may be considered as provocative.
16571  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Global Warming Real? on: December 21, 2017, 05:49:25 PM
I do not think that global warming is real. Every year they are anouncing global warming but where is it? The earth has its climate changes like it has 10000 years ago and will have in the future. Sometimes the earth enters a warmer cycle sometimes colder.

Nice to have people like you here in the forum.  Grin

Do you know that during the past, the maximum change in temperature was like 0.0001 degrees Celsius per year? Right now the temperature change is happening at 200 or 300 times faster than that rate. And still you have the balls to claim that there is no human induced climate change? Still you believe that global warming is a myth?
16572  Other / Politics & Society / Re: World War III ? on: December 21, 2017, 05:47:09 PM
World War I and II Had passed. All the countries tied in United Nation. However recently there seem grouping countries. They join in the military coalition. Islamic countries have allied. Some comunists countries also take position with the winning Russia in Syria helped by Iran.

US , China and other super power countries may prepare all the possibilities. Will World War III Problably happen? Where will it start from?

As of now. No one can foretell if when will WWIII happen since the biggest issue that caught our attention has been quiet for a long while now. But if that will start, it shall begin probably in philippines since philippines is the claimant of the island that said to have been stolen by china in which the spark began.

Are you talking about the Scarborough Shoal? I would say that it lies within the marine boundaries of Philippines. The Chinese must admit this and claiming Filipino territories as their own. How long they are going to bully their neighbors? They tried to do the same to the USSR in 1969. And in return the Soviets wrecked their rectum.
16573  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is your opinion on Buddhism???? on: December 21, 2017, 05:42:33 PM
I am a buddhist. I would like to know others opinion on my religion.. Cheesy Cheesy

I think Buddhism is one of the most peaceful religion all over the world. I rarely see Buddhist convincing other people to convert into their own religion unlike some religions. Also, the fact that they practice meditation, peacefulness with one's self and some relaxing methods makes me amazed by how nice that religion is.

Agreed. Buddhism was evolved as an answer to the constant warfare during the 500-1000 BC in India. Buddhists believe in Ahimsa (non-violence), although I am not sure how practical is that. But I would like to point out one thing. Meditation was invented by the Hindus, before being incorporated in to the Buddhist practices by the monks.
16574  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Biggest Problem of your Country ?? on: December 21, 2017, 05:38:56 PM
Poverty is the main reason why our country is not progressing because in our country many people doesn't have any work to provide their needs. There is almost no vacant in all business to provide the population of non workers that's why they are working to other countries to sustain their needs.

You need to analyze why the businesses are not being set up in your country. The same situation prevails here, in India. Here the red tape, bureaucracy, and corruption are the main reasons why the businessmen are afraid to set up their ventures. So they migrate to safer destinations such as the middle east and invest their money on projects there.
16575  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is your opinion on Buddhism???? on: December 21, 2017, 07:06:49 AM
Buddhism is the offschool of Islam. It has a modified belief of asceticism.

WTF?

For your kind information, Buddhism has nothing to do with Islam. For heaven's sake, Buddhism is at least 1,000 years older than Islam (Islam was invented sometime around 700 AD, while Buddhism was invented in 600 BC). And historical evidence suggests that Buddhism is an off-shoot of Hinduism (the oldest religion in the world). Lord Buddha himself was born as a Hindu.
16576  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is religion necessary for humans? on: December 21, 2017, 07:03:18 AM
Yes it is necessary because it is a way of reminding us that God exist. Religion also is a belief that serves as guide in good and bad. It is important in everyone's morality. But not everyone is complying to it. It still depends on the person of how he choose to be religious or not.

It is not necessary, but those who feel weak and need faith can believe in the existence of god. But if you are strong-minded, then you will do much better without the harmful influence of religion. After all, a lot of the religious clergy tend to be perverts (at least here in India). I have heard reports about bishops molesting choirboys and imams molesting madrassa students.
16577  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is the common cause of poverty? on: December 21, 2017, 06:58:13 AM
There is this saying that if you are born poor, it is not your fault but if you die poor it is your fault.

It is not a saying, but a very famous quote made by Bill Gates. And he was spot on. Even the poor people have thousands of options to get out of poverty. If they work hard, then nothing in the world can stop them from becoming successful with their life. And we have dozens of examples around us. A few are Howard Schultz (Starbucks), Oprah Winfrey and Francois Pinault.
16578  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Women and Men, are they same? on: December 21, 2017, 06:50:35 AM
They are not the same, they are just not inferior or superior whatsoever. Basically men and woman complement and empower each other

Being a women, I have to say that women and men are not equal. There are a lot of differences. For example, the men are good in sports such as athletics, football, boxing, wrestling.etc and in coding, programming, politics.etc. On the other hand, the women are good in certain skills such as medicine, cooking, fashion design, and literature.
16579  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Animal Cruelty - punishments? on: December 21, 2017, 06:47:44 AM
animal cruelty in my country is not so much highlighted, but there are some areas that still eat dogs. No one can forbid them because they have become their traditional food.
yes ! In my country there still have many areas eat dogs . The government does not forbid that  and it has become a tradition in some places

Eating dog meat is not animal cruelty, as long as the animal is not tortured before its death. Even in India, there are certain ethnic groups in Central India and North-east who regularly consume dog meat. We tolerate them, because they have been doing that for many thousands of years and now eating dog meat has become a part of the tradition.
16580  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Biofuel on: December 21, 2017, 06:45:43 AM
It is certainly necessary to look for new renewable energy sources. Although the depletion of soil, too, can not be ruled out. Ideally, you need something like wind power, thermal sources.

Electric cars are very expensive right now and the components needed for the battery (such as Lithium and Cobalt) are in very short supply. So it may be better to give priority to bio-fuels rather than investing money and effort in to electric-run vehicles. Personally, I would prefer nuclear-powered vehicles, but I don't think that anyone else here will support that proposal.
