16561  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do some users hate spelling and grammer only on Your posts? on: January 06, 2016, 09:53:16 PM
Lets just say, some people are incapable of understand the idea or the concept behind the word usually bigots who prefer correcting the grammatical errors as part of self defense.English is not the first language of everyone and not be given so much thought to it.
Come on now, I like casting aspersions on those with a poor command of the English language but I certainly am not a bigot.  Reading something poorly written is like listening to the radio with poor reception.  I have to work at least twice as hard to understand what's being written and I don't like that.  Being bigoted is something else I think.

Sent. Repay to sending address.

Thanks Pharma. You got it. I'll update this thread when sent.

Quoting for reference
Here is the transaction link : https://blockchain.info/tx/9b975a6fa941192fa8b59b3107ef289a8adb4df6fb3eb6083eb1c4d0060e5c3d
Thank you, I'm a tool and I didn't know how to get the link to the transaction, but I think from what you posted I can figure it out from now on.

BTW Peon I obviously accepted your terms.  I saw you helped with the Master-P debacle and I think you can be trusted with a no-collateral loan.
16563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a way to avoid corruption on: January 06, 2016, 09:43:25 PM
Hmm, I think it's a very interesting idea and as far as government spending goes, if the gov't used only a traceable currency there would be no way to fund black ops and such things and it would to some extent put the kabosh on wasteful spending.  I hadn't thought of any of this, as I detest politics, but I'm glad you brought this up as a topic.

I like it!

16565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does this happen to you? on: January 06, 2016, 08:28:22 PM
Not being a gambler, I'd like to see evidence of what you're talking about.   Yes the rolls should be random, but it wouldn't surprise me if some of these casinos were in fact rigged.
16566  Other / Meta / Re: People who don't like signature campaigns: first, STOP SPAMMING. And: Click Here on: January 06, 2016, 06:03:35 PM
There is also an adblock script for signatures. Thread discussing it is located here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1003570.0

I find the low-quality post spammers annoying as well, but those are easily reported and/or ignored. Sig campaigns are a nice way to get some extra bits, especially if you live in an area where it is difficult to obtain Bitcoin otherwise.
Well you can block signatures by just choosing that particular setting here on bct.  I find this extremely useful but the problem as I said is the shitposts.  It's always about the shitposts.
16567  Other / Meta / Re: Forum Comparison: Is It Just Me? on: January 06, 2016, 04:48:04 PM
Well, I have to say bitcointalk is a lot cleaner than some of the other forums I frequent and it's definitely fast.

One thing also that doesn't have to do with design or layout but is certainly important is that I see waaaay less spam/useless posting here than I do on other forums.  I lurk on a few forums and I swear on each of them most of the posts I see are "+1" or one of the emoticons.  And it's always after quoting a gigantic post, so you actually have to scroll through something you've already read just to get to the smiley face or whatever.  That's annoying and I don't see a lot of that here.
16568  Other / Meta / Re: People who don't like signature campaigns: first, STOP SPAMMING. And: Click Here on: January 06, 2016, 04:40:30 PM
Here's a better link - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;sa=theme

Also, it isn't the signature that annoys people usually. It is usually the vast amount of low quality posts made by people spamming for dust. You can change your theme settings all you like, unless you use an Ignore list it will not change anything.
I want to say this in response to your post, minifrij:  Since I joined Yobit's sig campaign, I've been making 30K satoshi per post for up to 20 posts/day.  I'm sure you and everyone else knows this.  That adds up and I don't consider it dust, especially since I'm doing what I'd be doing anyway, which is posting here.  Faucets dispense dust.  A good sig campaign gives more than dust, especially to people who need it.

Having said that, I think people enrolled in these campaigns should have to do a little work and actually think of something decent to contribute.  It's definitely annoying to see so many garbage posts from people who are getting paid.  I find the hardest part is actually finding topics I want to post in, so I see why so many users just post in the off-topic section.
16569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin from illegal activities on: January 06, 2016, 04:34:01 PM
The whole concept of tainted coins is just asinine to me, and other users have correctly pointed out that we have the same phenomenon with cash--and it bothers us not in the least that the fiat in our pocket has most likely been used to buy drugs or has been stuffed down a stripper's thong.  The same standard should apply for bitcoin.  As for me, I don't know or care where my particular coins came from.
16570  Economy / Goods / Re: FOR SALE - 50 COKE BOTTLE TOPS ( 2 LITTER BOTTLE CAPS ) - BTC OR LTC ONLY on: January 06, 2016, 04:20:30 PM
Yes, explain a bit more.

If these are plastic caps with the MCR code, then they're probably worth what you're asking though I think it's a little bit too high.  If they're glass bottle tops, good luck selling them on this forum.
16571  Economy / Reputation / Re: Am I a scammer? on: January 06, 2016, 04:17:23 PM
Dude I have to say that's fucked up, because it was obviously retaliatory spam feedback that was left for you, and it was from a member not on DT.  The campaign manager should use better judgement than that.
16572  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptsy on: January 06, 2016, 04:06:18 PM
I'm going to agree with OmegaSS here--you're not new to the forum and it's been discussed for a couple of months now at least that folks are having major problems getting their funds out.  DOGE was supposed to be one of the safe coins, but Cryptsy is doing a full Gox at this point.  So good luck getting everything back.
16573  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: January 06, 2016, 06:06:17 AM
Starting to get that feeling again: $4.00 at Gox, $6.00 at Cryptsy.   Tongue
Yep that's exactly what I was thinking.   And finally this thread has some useful news about what's going on at Cryptsy.  Sounds like the clock's running out.  Cryptsy, poor Cryptsy!!!
16574  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earn bitcoin by sig campaign? on: January 06, 2016, 05:49:55 AM
Now that your rank is Jr.Member you can join any good signature campaign and start earning by Joining it. This will be starting less but in some more time when your rank goes up you will start to earn good, with that if you post good and do goods trading earn some positive trust that will improve you account more.
And don't post like this^^^.  There's a lot of characters in it but it's just fluff and no substance.  He's not fooling anyone.
16575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we spread Bitcoin effectively. on: January 06, 2016, 04:59:28 AM
There are some very good suggestions here.  I was just at work tonight, and I check bitcointalk every now and then.  I told one of my coworkers what a signature campaign is and that I'd joined one, and kind of what bitcoin is all about.  He sounded interested, but he's definitely not a tech geek and I wouldn't expect him to jump on board.  I think people can kind of lead by example, which is what I was trying to do with him.  However, I have a hard time explaining why anyone should exchange their fiat for btc in order to buy something.  For the average Joe Blow there's just no reason to.
16576  Economy / Lending / Re: Need a loan of 0.15 BTC on: January 06, 2016, 04:56:12 AM
That's after I upload a VIDEO of me sealing it in an envelope and, within the same video, dropping it in the mail box. I will provide tracking tonight, too. My mom provided me with like $20 in stamps, so shipping is no issue and I'll pack it well.

I will be fine with 0.05 BTC before I upload; 0.05 BTC after video is confirmed; 0.05 BTC when item is received.

0.05 BTC is bloody $15-$20; moreover, why would I go to this effort for such a small sum. You will, as I said, receive my ID (and a pic of it next to my face) with my personal facebook as part of this.
I have never seen more bullshit packed into one post than this one and I have read many posts by the likes of Spoetnik, codishmumu, Fwdxlsh and many others.  You take the cake, sir.

Give your mom a big kiss for me, will you?
16577  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earn bitcoin by sig campaign? on: January 06, 2016, 04:51:47 AM
OP, I looked at your last posts, and they're all pretty much shit.

You need to really think about joining a signature campaign if all you're going to do is post one liners all over the place.  This forum is really brutal as far as reporting spam from people wearing signatures.  And Yobit gets the most scrutiny.  Seriously, think about it.  This is not a forum where you can get away with shitty, broken English posts and expect to earn money from that.

Edit:  For the above fucking morons who recommended him to join a campaign, you ought to think about this as well.  We don't need more shitposters on this forum.
16578  Other / Archival / Re: Looking for someone to delete all my posts. on: January 06, 2016, 04:42:26 AM
I wouldn't worry too much about previous posts--I can only see your last 3 and they didn't look bad.  I don't mean this in a negative way, but you're probably not as important around here as you think, and likely no one is going to be looking at all of your old posts.  It just doesn't happen.  Think about it:  Most people are just concerned about themselves.  When you keep things in perspective like that, it's easy to just move on.
If you join a signature campaign then they will look at your posts.
But that isn't relevant here, is it?
16579  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Some question about signature campaign on: January 06, 2016, 04:39:39 AM
"Signature spam" is basically really low-quality, poorly-constructed, and poorly-thought out posts fired off in multiple topics just to boost post count.  They are posts that add almost nothing to the discussion at hand.

Honestly, I've seen other forums where it's waaaay worse.  You get people who just post "+1" or "lol" or just a smiley face and it's so fucking annoying when it's just that and they've included a huge quote pyramid.  You'll get crucified if you post like that and probably kicked off of whatever campaign you're on.

Hope that helps.
16580  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New to Bitcoin and want to introduce myself on: January 06, 2016, 04:35:09 AM
Welcome.

1)  Don't ask for a loan here without collateral.

2)  The trust system here is completely broken.

3)  Don't trust anyone on this forum, including me.  Scammers outnumber honest folk here.

4)  Don't keep any cryptocurrency on exchanges if that's where you get it.

5)  Be careful of the escrows here.

Good luck.
