1661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost all my crypto gains this not fair! on: July 27, 2021, 09:59:41 PM
It is fair because I think you have earned also that cryptocurrency from investing so expect also that it can lose on you from investing in it. Dont always expect that your investment is always a good thing, you should expect that there are always times that it will go lowers its value but actually, you won't lose money if you will still keep holding it.

Actually in the crypto world losing the profits we already get is common, and I believe everyone who invests in crypto has experienced it.
Therefore it is important to have knowledge of how cryptocurrencies work, that's all so that we can minimize the amount of loss that we experience.
Or we understand how to avoid losses. I agree that as long as the coins we have have not been sold, it means that we have not lost money,
even though the price of the coins has fallen. We just need to wait for the coins to recover and the price to rise again. This is the importance of
choosing the right coins when investing in crypto.
1662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 27, 2021, 10:48:24 AM
For weekly salary I think there is no problem Man city must have understood how much they have to pay every week. From a business standpoint this is Tottenham's way of holding Kane back, with such a high offer no club is willing to pay for it, Tottenham are really taking a risk with this.
I'm a bit surprised about this news, Kane to ManCity is the big transfer ever in the premier league (160 M) after Pogba. I'm really sure the City doesn't have a problem with salary, even they have to move fast to get a replacement for Aquero. but, about the bad news above, what Kane did? why is banned?.
In this position Kane also can't do anything because he still has a contract at Tottenham so most likely Kane will not move this season
And Man City may not focus on new signings if they fail to get Kane, Pep Guardiola was more focused on yesterday's training session
Tottenham could sell Kane at a higher price this season. And with that money, they can stabilize the team, by purchasing new players. I think it's better to build a stable team without relying on Harry Kane alone. If Kane is not sold, they will lose the opportunity to make a lot of money.

It's better if Tottenham immediately sell Harry Kane, because the money they get from selling Kane can buy some star players. Because with
Kane's statement that he wants to move immediately, this proves Kane doesn't want to play for Tottenham anymore. Keeping Kane is also not
a good idea at the moment, as Kane will not be playing as usual, as he feels disappointed that his move has been blocked. Tottenham don't really
rely on Kane too much, there are still a lot of good players to buy. Tottenham can build a strong team from Kane's sales money.
1663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What does it take for a game to "hook" people on: July 27, 2021, 08:46:42 AM
So to attract people is basically about promotions and other bonuses and not about feelings, because the feeling will arise to continue playing when you are comfortable. So, even if there are no promotions and bonuses made in the game, they will continue to play in the game. It's different if there is a bonus offer in an existing game, at least with a bonus offer they will play the game even though they basically don't like the game. Alluring and feeling or comfort have differences and they are not the same.
The promotions can be the other way to hook people to come to that site because people will see that the site offers something that the other site does not do. They will try to get the promo by following the terms and conditions and if the offers are very interesting, more people will try to get it. When they already get the promo, they will feel if the site can make them comfortable to make them go back for the other days. Even if hook or comfort is different, they are still back to that site because they can enjoy their time playing the games.

It is true that the more attractive the promotion provided by the gambling site, then it will attract many people to try to play on the gambling site.
But to make people keep coming back to play at the gambling site after the promotion ends, the gambling site must provide comfort for people who
play there. Among other things, by providing a large selection of gambling games, easy process of withdrawing funds, low transaction fees and also
an attractive website display. All of the things I have mentioned are general things that can make people comfortable and will come back again to
play at the gambling site, even without them knowing they will promote the gambling site to other people. Because if people have been
made comfortable, it is very effective to hook people on the gambling site.
1664  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is not a Game . on: July 26, 2021, 11:45:54 PM
Money in relation with trading is not really a game for it is very essential to handle your stuffs specially upon dealing into the cryptocurrency market that is highly volatile wherein you do need to take it seriously upon making decisions for the reason that it would greatly affect the state of your funds being inputted in the market you have chosen to do the trade. If you are an in individual that does not take trading seriously, then you might be a type of person who have plenty of money on which you are just wasting your time and money for thinking that trading is just a piece of cake that is just easy to be done.

For me making money is difficult and I am always serious when trading, because like you said money is related to trading. So I don't want the money
I used to trade to be wasted, if I have a trading loss then at least there is a lesson I can learn. From the very beginning I got to know crypto trading,
I don't think it's a game, because trading isn't really a game. Only rich people who have excess money consider trading as a game, but the number of
rich people who think like that is also few to my knowledge. Because usually rich people also want to be even richer, then he will also take trading seriously.
1665  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can I recommend a friend to buy Bitcoin now? on: July 26, 2021, 10:44:18 PM
~
Just let him be because high tendency that you would really get blamed if the price would go down. Its his money and if they are trying to ask out then just say that invest on the amount that they can afford to lose.

Its really hard to determine on whats the next target or movement of bitcoin. We hadnt seen able to see some sentiments but having this movement isnt something that remarkable or shocking.

Moving 5-10% is something what we called normal day here on crypto specially with bitcoin. It might have been moving sideways for a while but it could shoot up its price without knowing.
You can give piece of advice but the final decision should still be on your friend. Because whatever happens, you should not take the responsibility of his decision. It seems that they are pretty new on this market because they don't know what to do. And now, that they are seeing good movement in the market, they want to jump on board. But once it is going down again, they may blame you for telling them to buy. So don't give also false hopes, be realistic with things here.

Those of us who first dive into the crypto world should indeed educate our friends or our family to start buying Bitcoin. Because we want
the people closest to us to feel the benefits we have gotten from investing in Bitcoin. But the way to educate them should not be forced,
if other people want to take advice from us, the method must be good. We only need to give important points about Bitcoin, let our friends
or family learn more and make their own decisions. Because they also buy Bitcoins they must first understand what they are buying, don't buy
because they are following our advice. So when they buy Bitcoin and the price suddenly drops it won't blame us, because they already understand
how Bitcoin works.
1666  Economy / Economics / Re: What kind type of market player you are? on: July 26, 2021, 04:38:05 AM
I am the same as you, I am an investor who buys altcoins at very low prices. I bought an altcoin which I think its price could increase very high in the future. I'm not an investor with a large capital, so I don't think it's appropriate to invest in bitcoin or ethereum. The capital I use is purely from bounties and airdrops, and I also use the money for daily needs.
I am also like you, I am an investor too
My basic is programming and I work in a small IT company, I don't have much time to pay attention to market conditions or others

I once tried to be a trader but ended up being a speculator and panicked during a bear market
I am trying to change my perception to continue investing in Bitcoin and other potential altcoins for the long term and will not sell my crypto assets for necessities because I still have a salary at my offline job

If we really don't have much time to monitor prices in the market, and don't have good analytical skills too, it's best not to force trading. Because
there we will be speculators and can lose all the capital we have, not everyone can succeed in profiting from trading. Indeed, the reality of trading is
not as easy as we imagine, so it's better to be an investor. Because being an investor is much easier and there is no need to monitor the market
too often, we only need to buy potential coins on a regular basis and hold until we reach the target we want.
1667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 26, 2021, 01:53:45 AM
Arsenal are indeed in a difficult position to be able to get Locatelli, even though Arsenal have agreed to the price that Sassuolo wants.
~
Arsenal should think about the defender position first, I know how they play on last year, they have a bad defense. About Ben White, I think it's good for Arsenal they must continue it and just looking for a new defender more by ignoring to buy a new player with another position.
Arsenal do not have defensive problems. They had one of the best defence in premier league last season, but since the likes of David Luiz who was very solid at the back has left the club, they had to bring in Ben White. What Arsenal really needs are midfielders, atleast two or three should be able to solve problems at the middle of the park.If Locatteli can give them what they want, then they need him.

If we compare the number of goals conceded by Arsenal with Manchester City, which is not so far away, I agree that Arsenal have no problem with
defense. Moreover, the joining of Ben White should be enough to make Arsenal's defense even more solid, for Arsenal's wing positions and attackers is
also quite good. What has to be improved is the position of the center and the goalkeeper, especially the Arsenal midfield that needs players like
Locatelli. Therefore Arsenal also tried to buy Emiliano Buendia, but in the end Buendia chose Aston Villa over Arsenal. If they fail to get Locatelli,
Arsenal are reportedly trying to bring in James Maddison or Houssem Aouar.

Ronaldinho without any double, the best dribbler we have ever seen in this game.

Anyway, this should be the week for Locatelli to Juventus, the only player they will take IMHO.
I still enjoy watching his videos on YouTube from time to time, he was an impressive player, so yeah I pick him too.
For Locatelli, Sassuolo is asking for €40m which is offered by Arsenal but since the player wants to move to Juve then there will be more talks. Juve offered €30m (loan) which was rejected and now consider swap + cash. Hope they will not lose this deal Undecided

Arsenal are indeed in a difficult position to be able to get Locatelli, even though Arsenal have agreed to the price that Sassuolo wants.
But Locatelli is only interested in a move to Juventus, meaning Juventus and Sassuolo's subsequent negotiations will determine Locatelli's fate.
If Juventus and Sassuolo reach an agreement, then Locatelli will certainly move to Juventus. According to the latest news I read,
Juventus are confident that the next offer will be accepted by Sassuolo. We'll just have to wait for updates regarding Locatelli's transfer.
1669  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Buying BTC from KYC exchange on: July 25, 2021, 10:38:40 PM
There is nothing bad in buying bitcoin from centralized exchange and doing kyc as their rules says. You did this because you are okay with it. There are some alternatives to converting BTC to fiat or vice versa like the one you mentioned.

I also have no problem buying Bitcoin from centralized exchanges that do enforce KYC procedures, as long as the exchanges have a good reputation.
Since most centralized exchanges are licensed by the government, so they have to follow government rules by imposing KYC. But the benefits are
usually safer and there is an option to convert Bitcoin to fiat, which can make withdrawals to our bank account. That's why I feel comfortable using
my country's local exchanges to buy Bitcoin.
1670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't give your bitcoins to scammers on: July 25, 2021, 03:12:59 PM
One of the keys to avoiding being a victim of scammers is to control our greed, which sometimes makes us not think logically. Therefore, many people
are deceived by being willing to send money in advance to be able to get the promised rewards. But if we can control greed, then we will not
immediately be attracted by the offer of very large rewards. This means that we really have to learn a lot about the crypto world, don't believe
in all methods of getting instant profits. Because it takes hard work and patience to be able to get big profits from investing in cryptocurrencies.
I totally agree with all of you greedy people, they fall prey to scammers, people who want big rewards without working and only a little capital and aspire to big income for people like that who are targeted by scammers.

The crypto world does have a lot of scammers hanging around, because there are always people who don't have the knowledge and experience
they can influence. By promising huge profits, make these people finally influenced and unknowingly give the money they have to people they
don't know. That's because many people still can't control their greed, and finally think with a small capital can get a big profit instantly, which of
course is not possible. The method most used by scammers is by promising double profits, this method has made many people experience losses.
So it must be remembered in the crypto world that there is no easy and instant money making, everything takes a process that may not take a while.

1671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You got a pifzer ? Then you can be eligible for lottery in Poland. on: July 25, 2021, 02:31:11 PM
I don't understand what their purpose is to give gifts to those who are vaccinated because after all, in the end if this virus really exists then vaccination will definitely be done, right? So, all choices return to each individual, if they still want protection and safety for themselves then of course they will also vaccinate and that is enough with an appeal and not because of getting a prize or lottery.
Because the mindset of everyone is not the same. People are worried because they think that vaccines are made rush even, in reality, it was rush in the sense that it was prioritized and focused by health experts around the world and done countless clinical trials.

To convince those doubters that don't want to hear the real benefits of the Covid-19 vaccine, there are lots of things and benefits offered to them just to convinced them to undergo vaccine and lottery is one of the examples.

Everyone's mindset is different, so not a few people refuse to be injected with vaccines because they doubt the vaccine is really safe. Although there is
a lot of evidence and explanations from health experts that say vaccines are safe for humans, it still can't convince everyone. Therefore, there is a need
for other ways to make the doubters change their minds, and one of them is by offering a lottery. Usually people when it comes to prize money, are
always interested and enthusiastic. Especially with the current situation where so many people are experiencing a financial crisis. The lottery offered
by the Polish government should make many people interested in injecting the vaccine.
1672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should online gambling companies be responsible for harm related activities? on: July 24, 2021, 10:36:07 PM
[snip]
My question is, should online gambling companies be responsible for the harm related to their activities because of their current failures in the implementation and control of CSR policies?
Well, perhaps no --even though they had a term of use to read but not all were given it there that purely has a concern to their users.
It is our responsibility for harm-related activities in such online casinos, we are the ones who put control ourselves and emotion in playing gambling and there should always be a limit in all activities had. There could be a short warning like a cigarette pack you will see there the warning to the people but they want to keeps using them. Gamble is just your own, at least this is the best practice for responsible gamblers.

Online gambling companies are not responsible for what happens to gamblers, they only provide facilities for people to play gambling and
get entertainment. Gamblers need to be able to control themselves so as not to overplay, which can make them addicted. Because we decide
to play online gambling, we must already know the risks, so we can't blame online gambling companies if bad things happen to gamblers.
If we do not want to become addicted to gambling and do not want to lose a lot of money, there is no need to play gambling. Because from
the start, gamblers have indeed played online gambling, of their own volition and there is no coercion at all from online gambling companies.
1673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy some low cap coins on: July 24, 2021, 03:13:58 PM
I don't see any time that's time to buy some low cap coins because 95% of all these low cap coins are hype-based and the uncertain situation of the cryptocurrency market is making almost every investor be extra careful because of the possible market blood bath which can happen anytime.
If all the listed barely make a reasonable surge in price the market was doing what guarantee it to be a good investment now?
i don't think so it totally true, if you pick below 1million market cap maybe you opinion could be true. But for real project that developt  token utility and usecase in crypto community  such as Hathor or other projects low cap means opportunity for us to be early investors. I see some good project with mcap below 50millions.
I don't say there's no good project which has market cap that is below 50Million but what I am saying is that the current market is not good to make such investment cause it is better to invest more in top coins with genuine utility in the market because of the upcoming market blood bath that will happen.  Besides, the last time I checked all created coins of these days is hype base.

I caught the point you mean, it means that low cap coins have a higher risk than top coins. Indeed, not all low cap coins are bad, there are some that
are good and profitable, the problem is the percentage of successful investment in low cap coins is very low. In today's bad market conditions, it's not
the right time to buy low cap coins. Because there is still a possibility that the market will still fall even further, so I also suggest not investing in
low cap coins first.
1674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: in between the decision to hold or sell on: July 24, 2021, 10:27:22 AM
having a conversation with a friend today , he was asking me if he should sell or hold a coin. i didnt give a straight answer, i just told him the project is a good one that can do well but if you are willing to wait then you can hold but if you need some money then you can sell off. he then replied that he will wait for an additional 25% increase before he would sell off. i think i tried my best to let him make his final decision himself. is there any better way to do this? if it were you, how would you respond to this. ??
If there is information about that coin, perhaps we will analyze it specifically and define it more clearly here.  All in all, if that person invests in, I'm sure he's already doing his own DYOR, only if you are interested in a certain project you will feel like you understand their everything, the roadmap,  directions, solutions they can improve.  I believe that person can get important information about what he believes in, so that he can set a 25% goal.  So I think only he has the best answer.

We have to know in advance what coins he bought, if shitcoins sell immediately if he get profit. But if popular coins are purchased with
strong fundamentals, it is better to HODL until it reaches the target he wants. But in the end the person who bought the coins had to make
a decision, when investing in crypto don't rely too much on other people's advice. He must do the research and analysis, so that the decisions
taken are more satisfactory. Many people forget that we invest in crypto, we ourselves are responsible for the money we will use to buy coins.
So don't be lazy to learn to analyze the crypto market, so when making a decision, we don't need to rely on other people's advice.
1675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to seek help if you need; concerned with gambling addiction. on: July 24, 2021, 03:46:43 AM
The first step is not to immediately seek the help of others to be able to cure gambling addiction. The person must consciously and gracefully accept
the fact that he is indeed addicted to gambling, because it is very important to be honest with himself that he is addicted to gambling.
For those who are aware that they are addicted, what you said can work. But for those who don't realize that they are addicted already, it doesn't work at all. They are even not aware if they have a problem with addiction. How they can accept their addiction in this situation? Of course, they need helps from other people. Especially their close friends or family members. They must remind the addicts to have a special treatment to deal with it. And trying to correct the addict's habit gradually. This is something that cannot be done alone. Trust me, buddy! It is not as simple as you think.  Smiley

I admit that many people are addicted to gambling but they don't realize it. If that's the case, someone else's help is needed to wake him up.
Because if the gambler is allowed to become addicted,  it's not only his life that's in trouble, but his family was also affected. So the sooner
addiction is treated, the better. Because if they have been used to it for too long the person is addicted to gambling. Usually more difficult to cure,
because gamblers who have been addicted in the long term, consider gambling addiction a normal thing. I don't think gambling addiction is
a simple thing to deal with, because there are some people who need a very long time to completely heal. I'm just saying if the gambler is honest
with himself, that he admits to being addicted, the healing process is easier compared to a gambler who doesn't realize he is addicted.
1676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to seek help if you need; concerned with gambling addiction. on: July 23, 2021, 11:46:32 PM
Morally, they're helping you to get out of gambling addiction.

Having to know that they are there to help you get out from it and will also be supporting you to seek professional help, that's really a big help for someone who's struggling with gambling addiction.
But before you do go into this option then you should at least try to help yourself first because those external helps wouldnt really be effective if you are the one who arent really that serious on quitting gambling. Its on personal mind on how you would really quit it up because no matter how your loved ones will be giving out some counselling or advice or even into those professional help  then it would be still useless if yourself wouldnt really be that willing to quit from it.So it does matter with self realization and accepting that you would really go for a change.
Addiction is something that can be just easily removed and it would takes a long time.
Even if you're getting all the external or internal help.

As you said, the gambler isn't serious with how he's eradicating his addiction, then that won't be use. The cooperation of the gambler himself is needed.

So that he can beat addiction with or without those help.

The first step is not to immediately seek the help of others to be able to cure gambling addiction. The person must consciously and gracefully accept
the fact that he is indeed addicted to gambling, because it is very important to be honest with himself that he is addicted to gambling. If this is not
done then as you said getting external or internal help will be in vain. After the person admits that he is addicted, there will usually be a strong desire
to beat the addiction he is experiencing. The next step will usually be easier to be able to cure gambling addiction from the person.
1677  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I get a loan? on: July 23, 2021, 11:13:12 PM
This all depends as to how close you are to your family, if it's a good relation, you might not have to worry too much about it. If you believe in the potential of crypto there's no need to worry about returning the loan because it will go back in amounts that you aren't even expecting.
What you say is true, finally we do have to look at our relationship with our family, if there is a very good relationship and our family trusts us.
There should be no problem if we borrow money from our family, if it turns out that the price of the coins we buy is not what we expected,
we can ask for our family's understanding to give us time to pay it off. Moreover, if it is an investment in potential coins, it should indeed be able
to provide a large profit.
Depends on the member of the family if they werent really be that impulsive when it comes to money since i have seen some  of people whose part of the family had quarrelled and  even
do make out for a long time without speaking or in good terms because of money which i cant really assure that it wont happen..

This is why its better to avoid on borrowing from family or any other people but this isnt actually an issue if you do just know on how to repay those loans

but if you arent that mindful nor responsible enough then better not consider on making this action because you would really just create some problems.

Therefore, we need careful planning if we really intend to borrow money from the family. This means that we must be able to think about the worst
risks that will occur, because it is true that money can be a cause of contention. I think we can explain first the reason we borrow money, so that
they understand the risks that will occur in the future. After that provide a backup plan if our investment doesn't go well in the end, we really have
to be responsible if we decide to borrow money.
1678  Economy / Speculation / Re: Using BTC only for Trading? on: July 23, 2021, 10:32:26 PM
In conclusion, new projects are mostly used for pump and dump. Therefore, if we intend to trade on new projects, we must start trading when projects
are released on exchanges. And that's only for short term trading, because based on my experience if long term investment in new projects,
it is likely that the price will continue to fall and the volume will be very low. This is what makes it difficult for us to finally sell the coins.
These things are only a bit looking interesting or still plausible into those golden days of crypto which is on the year 2017 when everything is hyping up and those pumps and dumps are still
existing as of todays but it would really be not worth for your time and effort and  of course with your money.Bitcoin isnt only used for trading but of course for long term hodling.
It is just on personal choice whether you do hold or actively trade and this is here profit do really differs on  each person depending on  their vies about bitcoin.
You wouldnt able to find out if you wont try.

I also feel what happened in 2017, where almost all coins experienced hype. So when it was very profitable short-term trading in some new projects.
But right now the number of new projects whose prices can go up very high is very few, so I agree for now it's not really worth trading in
new projects. It's better to focus on trading some coins that do have good potential, and Bitcoin is very suitable for trading. But interestingly
Bitcoin not only be used for trading, but Bitcoin is also good as a store of value. Which is very profitable holding Bitcoin in the long term,
if we really see the Bitcoin trend that continues to increase in price. Sometimes I also use Bitcoin to send money to my friends and family
who are overseas, because the process is fast and costs are cheaper than using fiat through a bank.
1679  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do most cryptocurrencies rise and fall together? on: July 23, 2021, 06:10:26 PM
I think the reason is that the rest of the coins in the market are depending on Bitcoin highly. And I don't think that it will change unless a different coin takes the place of Bitcoin in terms of dominance. For now, Ethereum seems to be the nearest to do that.

Because until now Bitcoin has always dominated the market, so almost all coins move to follow the Bitcoin price. So the movement of Bitcoin becomes
a trendsetter in the crypto market, if the price of Bitcoin pumps, it is likely that the crypto market will have a bullish trend. Vice versa, if the price of
Bitcoin dumps usually the crypto market will be in a bearish trend. In conclusion, the price of altcoins is very much affected by the price of Bitcoin.
1680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 23, 2021, 10:37:15 AM
https://www.goal.com/en/news/live/transfer-news-and-rumours-live/6jvzocyd7uwm1cyycm7wzq0c3

It looks like Tottenham give Kane green light for £160m Manchester City move. And he verbally agreed to a £400,000 per week contract. It's going to be one of the biggest transfers Manchester City have ever made. And it's really huge in terms of transfers in general in history.
£160 million is a fantastic value, and that's a very high price even for a striker like Harry Kane. If Man City really agrees with the price offered by Tottenham then this will be a new record-breaker. A salary of £ 400,000 per week will also make Harry Kane a football player with the highest salary in the Premier League.
Harry Kane is an excellent striker. He is talented and experienced. But what club would want to spend so much money at the moment? Every club is in some financial crisis. 150m is a very high amount. Moreover, his salary is also too high.

I was also very surprised to hear of Harry Kane's huge transfer fee, it looks like Manchester City are so obsessed with signing Kane that they are
ready to spend so much. If this is true, it will break the record for the biggest transfer fee in the Premier League, it's a good deal for Tottenham
and Manchester City. It seems that in a pandemic situation like now Manchester City is not a team that is experiencing a financial crisis. Even
