1661  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Follow your mind! on: November 02, 2020, 08:00:45 PM
There are members on the Bitcointalk forum who are very good at predicting the price of bitcoins.

If you read the posts of these people for several years, you will see that their predictions are very accurate.  I have a list of such people.  I know their weaknesses.  For example, one is good at predicting when the market is bullish, the other when the market is bearish.  I consult with them.

However, I make all investment decisions myself.

that would be a very good thing if we could follow some experts advice and see their prediction about bitcoin's upcoming price drop and increase.
can you share the list of members and their posts with us here or send via PM,  I would really like to see what are they predicting about bitcoin. because for me. Bitcoin always been unpredictable. I thought something else an happened something else.
You can't just rely on these people's allegations even if they're really "good" at it. Despite bitcoin's high volatility rate, we can't just rely on hocus pocus predictions you know. Might as well ask them what their secret is, and then have these tips be incorporated in each and everyone's investment plans so we all know when to sell and when to buy or hodl.
1662  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why You Should Trade Crypto With Leverage on: November 01, 2020, 09:09:08 PM
For me, I do not think that trading with leverage is a good thing because it contains high risks, it is true that you can win a lot through the use of leverage, but also the loss will be large
High risk is equals to high rewards, that's the equivalent of taking such risk. Leverage trading is fun, I personally trading with leverage in Binance and I must say that it's good everytime as long as you know the market's behavior that day. Always remember to manage the risk that you are taking, I usually trading at 50x so the liquidation is quite near after my position, stop loss will catch you and you don't have to worry that much.

especially for those who do not have much experience in this type of trading, so I prefer trading Immediate because it is more secure and easier to learn.
Of course trading with leverage is not for beginners, if you want to learn trading don't skip steps. Don't just read someone's experiences, make it happen to yourself.
1663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Keep3r token going to be the next YFI? on: November 01, 2020, 08:50:01 PM
If investors will become silly again this time then this might be the next YFI, it's only the hype that brings the price of this coins, not even a single use case being introduced to the mass. The only thing that it is being compared to other coins is because of the CEO, same CEO as YFI. It's clear to me that they are just jumping jackass playing with everyone's money. If this isn't striking you by now then there's something wrong that you must figured out.
1664  Other / Meta / Re: How to increase Merit? on: November 01, 2020, 08:12:11 PM
Merits are designed for spammers, if you have read the old rules and know a little about the forum history then you'll know why it was implemented back then. If you got stuff to do here in the forum, like promoting a project or services then you might need some merits to gain confidence from users, or at least a copper membership. But if you're just lurking here, reading and acquiring some knowledge, I don't know if merits will do much from your intention.
1665  Economy / Economics / Re: Second lockdown in Europe can their economy survive this?. on: November 01, 2020, 07:23:39 PM
Lockdown isn't a problem for small business if their government has this plan beforehand for small business to contain such thing. If they will still be able to operate amidst the pandemic and lockdown then they will survive, but I doubt they will only let this happen to businesses that is necessary for people like food restaurants and any providing needs related. The answer is that, until when? if it's only a week or a month they might be unaffected at all.
1666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: November 01, 2020, 06:30:31 PM
Anyone here who predicted right in the League of Legends Worlds grand finals event? What you got? I predicted the first 3 matches for Suning gaming, was really rooting for this team since day one and I did even more when they able to kicked G2 out. And the very reason why I'm rooting for them is because of StyleOfMe (SofM) his jungling play style was insane! Anyways congrats to DWG for getting back the crown to LCK. Props and respect to Suning, great performance with that Pentakill!  Cool
1667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Death during illegal cockfighting raid on: November 01, 2020, 05:48:46 PM
he should just asked someone else to confiscate the chickens.
I misunderstood the news coz I didn't read it. My fault.

It's their job to confiscate animals, what they did wrong is that they didn't thought of it fighting back as they are confiscating it, plus the factor that it is a raid, I'm pretty sure they were not wearing any protective gear, just a casual clothes to get in to the arena without people noticing.

these roosters are trained all their lives to fight as long it can. as long as it can fight back using its beak the fight in the arena goes on.
It's not the beak they these roosters are using to fight, it is the steel blades that they trainers are putting onto them and that's what cut the femoral artery of the police officer. Shit really happens, anytime.
1668  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spend or HODL Bitcoin during COVID-19? on: November 01, 2020, 04:15:15 PM
Better hold and learn from past history, this is 2016, prior to the bull run of 2017, so the history might repeat itself again, although it might take long. What I'm trying to say is that we should HODL as long and as much as we can.
Indeed it is better if we hold, to get the maximum benefit but the pressure from the outside is real though, I mean we can't just tell someone who has bitcoin to just hold til it gets back to $20000 and is suffering from hunger or shortage of allowance in light of covid since we know the rise of unemployment rate from most countries. I'd say we are independent from doing our stuff, do what's convenient with your assets.

So I would rather stack even more on the contrary, instead of spending it.
If you still got more money, or spare money it's best to take advantage of the moving price now as it is speculated to have an another ATH this year or early next year.
1669  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Energy Consumption Myths on: November 01, 2020, 02:42:24 PM
The first myth was because people don't understood it that good, as well as science terms like energy and electricity. They might have coined it using "energy" because electricity is a form of energy, too bad people easily believe on what they have seen written on the internet and they will hold that information til someone brings it up to them. Although it's not so wrong, but specifying is the real thing that we must spread on the internnet.
1670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Death during illegal cockfighting raid on: October 31, 2020, 06:55:14 PM
This is the news that I kept thinking for the past days lol the fact that a lieutenant police is involve in such illegal activity is punishable by law gives me an idea how the other police are involve with many kind of these things too. Anyways, the death of a public servant is sad given that it was a tragic death, femoral artery cut is severe, blood loss will be a lot and hard to give a first aid. If it happened in a legal cockfight arena the owner will shoulder all the expenses of him.
1671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can bitcoin be made easy? on: October 31, 2020, 05:02:48 PM
People who still does not understand bitcoin after 2017 blast would be the last people to believe in bitcoin. We can't make it easy for them to understand until they wanna learn it themselves. I think the very reason why they still think that it is a scam or whatsoever is because of the conventional monetary power of fiat currency, they are like slaves of this one and could not accept that there is another face of currency.

1673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Help me by giving some ideas of blackjack tournaments on: October 29, 2020, 08:13:50 PM
You can organize a blackjack tournament with a certain contribution. Let's say the contribution is $150. Each participant will make a deposit of $150 of which $100 will be deposited and $50 will go to the winner's fund.
This is a great idea, however people from different level of playing blackjack might ruin some people who are just a beginner in tournaments. As this will be your first tournament, make sure it will be a beginner friendly, So I'd suggests to have a two way tournament one for beginners and one for advance. You may question " they could just go and play with the beginners, so why do I need to do it?" simply raising the pool will hook them up to play. For example, $50 entry for beginners and the pool reward will be $350 then the other is $100 and the pool reward is $700.
1674  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin reach $20k fee will be huge? on: October 29, 2020, 07:25:08 PM
It does not necessarily mean that if the price is high the transaction does too, it will differ also with the traffic in the network and that determines the price of the fees that we are going to pay for each transaction we send there. There has been transaction in large sizes that comes with low transaction fee, lower than the usual fees for such amounts. The timing in sending is also a factor if you want to save some bucks in fees.
1675  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts about the future of Bitcoin on: October 27, 2020, 07:17:49 PM
TL:DR

If you're making a long read like this make sure the title is intriguing to catch someone's interest. I can basically share my thoughts with the topic without reading your post LOL.

Anyways, my thought on bitcoin's future is always positive though we can see things now that it is going very well especially when the news came out from Paypal that they are going to include cryptocurrencies with their services, this is just a first step of becoming a globally accepted currency of bitcoin. As of now, there are enthusiast merchants who have been accepting bitcoin for payment that I expect to increase next year.
1676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Algeria must use bitcoin on: October 27, 2020, 06:48:29 PM
I appreciate your initiative man, we need people like you who push for societal growth. Among all countries in Africa, I noticed how active Nigeria is in dealing with cryptocurrencies, I feel like they are going to be the first country in Africa to successfully adopt bitcoin or any crypto. The only drawback it will probably bring is when people starts to use it illegally, like buying stuffs online avoiding customs taxation or anything that hides with their law.
1677  Other / Meta / Re: How much time a day do you dedicate to Bitcointalk? on: October 26, 2020, 08:58:22 PM
After 8 months, has your presence on bitcointalk increased or decreased?
To better see the trend I have updated with a poll
Quarantine gets us all in our home with less things to do, I noticed that I increased my presence here for the past 8 months, I'm averaging 4-6 hours in a day spending time here in forum reading and posting. Though I take a break weekly, a day or two so I could still go outside and do my stuffs. I usually online very early in the morning around 00:01 to 06:00 Do any Asian peeps can relate with my online time?  Grin
1678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Btc and Eth head back into space on: October 26, 2020, 08:44:48 PM
But when bitcoins started to rise rapidly, altcoins didn't follow suit.
A clear statement that bitcoin isn't as rugged as most of the altcoins in the market or should I say shitcoins in the market. Altcoins do have these trend at some point where bitcoin is making on its own, decentralization process is indeed favoring the bitcoin, on the other hand there are some altcois that is worth holding onto, definitely diversifying your portfolio is the best strategy to use by now, you can't clearly see who's coming at top.

Altcoins were down at that time, and now ethereum and other altcoins are slowly green.
No doubting with ethereum, it always follow the bitcoin trend coz that's what a queen of crypto needs to do after the king right?
1679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: luckygames problems on: October 26, 2020, 08:17:52 PM
The OP should have provided any proof of his deposit, a link to the blockchain or at least a screenshot of his account in luckygames thus this will be just ignored by many people who really wanted to help you out. And as for some people here, luckygames is closing soon so I really doubt they will accept any deposit from any accounts anymore. And you are completely silent about this thread OP. Why  Huh
1680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Defi project like game pump and dump on: October 26, 2020, 07:45:11 PM
There are only a few defi projects that is sustainable in the long run, and I'm sure it is not the one that has a food name on it LOL I do have supporting defi projects which I want to just sell out once it is out in the market, most probably in  Uniswap, once it is listed there I'll sell it all out and won't wait any time to pump I just need to make x2  Grin Investors are really funny these days, they are investing on a thing they didn't know and would ask why they lost.
