It depends about how you are trading. If you are trading against BTC, you should look at the number of satochis. If you are playing against dollars, look at USD. But most people i think trade against BTC. It is very difficult to win against BTC. It is only possible in the short term. If you lose against BTC, you may still win against USD. But you may not win as much as if you had more satochis.

They announced today that you can install your Electroneum wallet tomorrow on your cell but that 'mining' will be possible in January 2018. No scam if you ask me, they are taking care of security, the way it should be.
The mining on smartphone is only for 2018? It is not a very good news. But it is better to have a good security than to be sorry. |

Because Bitcoin is in high demand. And there is not a lot of Bitcoin and there is only 21 millions Bitcoins and only 4 millions Bitcoins which can be mined. Other coins have a lot more coins. There is 96'290'018 Ethereum in circulation and it can still be mined... The less coin we have, the more precious it is.

I assume you should have a 1Tb hard drive on a 64-bit laptop and you can simply have lots of different cryptocurrencies' native wallets, and save their private keys safely somewhere else. My hard drive has only 32 GB and a slot for an SD card and one USB slot .
I am currently trying SIA wallet which after 10 days of trying has not fully downloaded, and has occupied 8 Gb of the hard drive in the AppData folder as of yet. This wallet is giving error messages I don't understand
SIA does not install in C:\Program Files, and I cannot find where it installs
The Daedalus and iota wallets are installing, after running the ,exe file, in C:\Program Files
Can I have my altcoin wallets on my 64 Gb SD card or on a USB external hard drive?
Running the program did install it automatically on C:\Program Files\ and so this may be
a matter of making a program install elsewhere, in a different folder???
And What about the AppData folder where SIA wallet has taken up 8GB disc space? Can I change the default storage
to a different folder than Appdata? This SIA folder in AppData, worth about 8Gb disc space, can it be deleted and the
SIA wallet continue to work properly?

Make a backup on an external hard drive (maybe 2 copies on 2 separate hard drives is better). Make them regularly. Leave the copy on your current disk. If you really need disk space, delete wallets you are not going to use on your main hard drive. You just have to restore it from one of the backup if you want to recuperate the wallet. |

Some alts are going to die on 2018 and maybe some at the end of this year... But altcoins like Dogecoin will resist.

Sell for Bitcoin if you want to get profits faster. You are going to be able to buy more altcoins with BTC if you want after.

It is better to have BTC now as the value is going to increase more. Altcoins price don't really move, so they are going to be very cheap compare to BTC.

If you want to get profits, buy Bitcoin. If you want a coin that you can't send anywhere, buy ETH. Cryptokittens are blocking the ETH network.
And just look how many ETH do you need to buy a Bitcoin now? Maybe 40 ETH for 1 BTC. And it is going to be much more after Bitcoin is going to jump.

Bitcoin has a bigger future in term of value and ETH won't be able to compete with BTC . For ETH, it has attain his limits just with Cryptokittens. It shows that it is possible to disrupt all the ETH network. ETH seems to be on experimental mode now. I think there are better technology than ETH.

ETH is going to be clogged like this for 1 or 2 months. People are going to be desinterested about it and ICO are going to move to other coins and not use ETH as people can't send ETH. I don't see how ETH is going to better. The price is the same and may get lower, but the transfer fees are more important and the difficulty to mine it also grows a lot. A lot of people are mining other coins as they are more profitable than ETH.

I have play a few hours on Cryptokitties with ETH and I cannot still understand the concept of it exactly and it's too much painful to me for trading/playing on cryptokitties. What is the value of the kitties?
How could you say it is a good games? As you still didn't understand the concept and goal of it. Actually, it is just to make money and to clog ETH network. They actually did success. But if ETH value slip, they are going to lose money. |
