1661  Economy / Economics / Re: The pros and cons of going cashless on: August 27, 2020, 10:40:34 PM
That's why I hope the government doesn't have plans to eliminate cash entirely.  It's fine if people choose to not use it, but I think it should remain available as an option.

One of the perks of living in a 3rd world country lol. There's just so much poverty that eliminating physical cash entirely is going to take out a huge percentage of the total population out of the economy. 1st world countries like the U.S. are far more likely to go completely cashless.
Those are developing country and we’re slowly adopting the cashless transactions especially right now where almost all the transactions is through online because of the virus. Well, it may not completely happen but its ok as long as there’s a progress despite of corruption it can happen. Going  completely cashless is hard on the isolated areas, the physical cash will remain despite of the growing technology.
1662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New NEO DeFi Token - FLAM on: August 27, 2020, 09:39:40 PM
Just saw on twitter the founder of neo, he is promoting this project and it looks like this will be a good project, but who knows because their website is still not completely so I am waiting for them to update it and learn about this project first.
We need more information to confirm if this is a good one or just another hype project. It also good to know that NEO is still working to look for projects that will use their own technology, NEO promotes this so this is a good partnership since we saw a lot under the ETH platform. Don’t conclude yet on FLAM, better to wait and search more about this one than to say sorry later on.

1666  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Germany the NEW World’s Crypto Superpower on: August 19, 2020, 11:11:54 PM
Many countries already show their support for cryptocurrency and its hard to say that Germany will become a crypto super power but this move is indeed great for all of us.

If there’s more countries to regulate and make laws to support cryptocurrency, then expect people to coming-in and since the demand increases and the supply decreases, we can feel the price slowly pumping.
1667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency is all about Hodling. on: August 18, 2020, 11:47:09 PM
The truth about crypto currency is that it is more about hodling, technically, crypto is hodling.
Most people that has been able to take profit from crypto currency trade or investment are those that have mastered the act of hodling.

Knowing when to hodl, when not to hodl is an important skill you need.
Hold with strategies so you can know when to sell your holdings because if you are just going to hold without concrete plan then you’ll lose the chance of selling on a good price.

Cryptocurrency also works for day traders though the risk is higher but it can still be profitable base on your skills. Holding is not easy, you must also hold good coins and not just about the hype and shitcoins.
1668  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin ETF by 2nd quarter of 2021? on: August 18, 2020, 01:17:48 PM
Q2 2021? Maybe. By that time the new government (or current one) would also have been properly sworn in, and even if it's still Trump, his administration wasn't exactly fighting to throw out these ETFs.

At least we'll have something to look forward to once Defi hype dies down heh heh.
Many are waiting for this but because of many rejections, the hype dies so this news can give another chance to those who support ETF.

The hype on DeFi will die soon, and the cycle will continues so at least we have something to look for next year since we are close to end the year 2020 with a lot of challenges. Let’s see if SEC’s will favor on ETF this time or this is just another hype to pump bitcoin, we’ll find out.
1669  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gigabet - legit or not? on: August 18, 2020, 05:41:45 AM
So, this is all about not entering into chat room if we play at gigabet? Anyone could confirm about contacting their support regarding this? Because, getting banned for chat messages must be too hard reaction a gambling house may do against its own customers. I guess no other highly reputed gambling house will ever do that. I heard some houses are banning/locking out accounts for multi-account reasons but not for chat things. This is really a ridiculous. Gigabet got any official representative for this fourm?

Please read my detail explanation about this situation above....  The mods at gigabet are trolling players sending spam rains worth of 1 satoshi 10 times in a row. When I talked to admin about this annoying thing one mod didnt like that and banned me
The rules of chat at gigabet are totally unclear, so they can ban for anything

The thing we have to discuss - should ban at chat disable other features of the site? I think not
You banned from chatting or also for playing on their gambling site?
If you are experiencing problem try to contact their support and ask for the explanation. If you still not convince with their replies or no one is answering you yet your fund is freeze then open a scam accusation on this forum and I'm sure they will see it. This is a licensed gambling site as well, if you're with the same country then you can file a case legally just make sure its worth the effort and fees. If you want a hassle free gambling experience, always go for the best.
1670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why LINK is pumping so hardly? on: August 17, 2020, 11:58:53 PM
Still i can remember when i saw LINK in April/June it was almost $4.2 . But recently i saw it's pumping hardly to $18+! What is reason behind this pump?
There’s a lot of updates with Link and the hype with DeFi projects is still here so people are rushing to buy good DeFi projects so they can enjoy the pumping market. I see this one as a good pump though it looks like the peak has been hit and I’m expecting a correction after that, if there’s more good news to come and the bull market started, then expect a much expensive Link.
1671  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will Dex's Dominate the Cex's in near future? on: August 17, 2020, 10:34:51 PM
Easier to use, these are the CEX.

And which is easy to use, people will be there. DEX is sort of complicated and not all traders are not willing to use it. But no offense for DEX users, both can co-exist at the same time.
I also experiencing some hard time to explore DEX and quiet complicated for a newbie but of course if you usually used DEX then you’ll like it later on. I also believe that CEX and DEX will co-exist simply because investors still want to use an exchange that is being regulated so when the problem comes, they can go to a court and sue the person behind it. You can trade on any exchange that you want, volume is just here for your analysis and your trading plan is still matter so don’t forget to create strategies on any exchange.
1672  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Antodex- yet another DeFi with plagiarized Whitepaper! on: August 17, 2020, 06:41:26 AM
I would like the Moderator  to talk to me directly by Video call about this topic. It affects the reputation of our project.
You don't have to do this privately, now that there's a scam accusation better to prove it publicly so the investors will also know if your project is indeed a scam or not. Why don't you try to explain further about your Whitepaper? If your reputation is important to you then start acting now but I guess this is just a whole scam project after all prove me wrong.  Huh
1673  Economy / Economics / Re: Bangladesh Government Comparing Gaming with Gambling and Cryptocurrency on: August 17, 2020, 03:19:16 AM
This is how regulation looks like if the regulators are not well-informed or, worse, misinformed of certain aspects of that which they are regulating. This is a perfect example of Garbage In, Garbage Out (GIGO) in the hard world.

The Bangladesh Bank must have been fed wrong information specifically about gaming sites such as Steam and Blizzard for coming up with such a ridiculous policy.

Well, they must have learned lessons from the infamous $81 million Bangladesh Bank cyber heist and are now implementing harsh policies.

I think that case has influence on having strict regulations with online gaming also. That multi-million dollar cyber heist is still one for the history books. Now, they are very careful to the point that they are not reasonable. I think if someone will brought that up, they will review that regulation again.
They are not open with that Multi-million dollar cyber heist at all that's why our local bank wins the case and now filing a case against the Bangladesh Bank for ruining the reputation of RCBC. If they are trying to protect their people from the online fraud then I guess this is not the law that they needed. Its very unfortunate for a gamer to tagged as a gambler and using cryptocurrency now restricting them from buying staffs for their account. Bangladesh will surely regret this restriction especially on cryptocurrency if bitcoin made a huge pump and adopted by many countries, this is not the end for the gamer and the user of cryptocurrency.
1674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's happening with Bitcoin & altcoins? on: August 17, 2020, 01:15:36 AM
Well we have different opinion about these happen now on why the bitcoin are in take $11000 for now and the altcoins are still drop.
But not all altcoins are drop to those only in top are moving or followed by bitcoin. And we all know it needs for bitcoin to rise up first before the altcoins be follow on it.
That is what we used to see, altcoins are usually following the movement of bitcoin and it became the basis if alts are going bullish. Anyway the market is high volatile and unpredicted so the price of coins can go up and down in a short period. Its like a roller coaster ride and though there are many predictions by analyst, still we are not certain is these are going to happen.
Ride safe with the market, make strategies and execute it properly by this we can get higher returns. Bitcoin was able to reach the price of $12,000 and that's a good sigh of a healthy market, rising again from the bottom price. Altcoins are also doing good today especially the DeFi projects they made a huge pump in the past months especially Chainlink. We see the progress, we invest on the progress so those who invested last quarter during the dump prices are now happy because of their earnings, predictions are meant to guide us despite of its uncertainties so stay positive.
1675  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: CHRISTIAN ALBERT GAZA a.k.a "Xian Gaza" Introduce his own coin on: August 16, 2020, 11:54:52 PM
I know recently naging ok na sya, claiming himself as a changed person pero kung magtatayo ka ng ganitong project I don’t know the purpose of this coin and mukang magiging scam lang talaga ito.

Mag-ingat at siguraduhin na alam ang papasukin kahit na alam mong hype token ito wag paren basta basta sasali. Maaaring kumita ka pero dapat mo ren isipin yung risk na meron dito, magingat sa pagiinvest mga kababayan.
1676  Economy / Speculation / Re: Not many try to buy on Bitfinex, but many try to sell on Bitfinex these days... on: August 16, 2020, 11:02:32 PM
They made a mistake before buying on a peak and I’m sure they’ve learned a lot from this so they are no longer noobs and if they want to sell, its their choice and decision.

Those who trap before can sell now at least on a minimal loss compare before. If I’m trapped as well, I will do the same thing no matter what you say because this is the moment I’ve been waiting for and I can’t afford to lose the chance again, my choice.
1677  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲 CRYPTODICE.IO 🎲 | 🎰 Be The House 🎰 | 💰 Opening of Investment Feature 💰 on: August 16, 2020, 02:23:09 PM
I urge everybody to check OP's trust before playing at or investing in this casino.

There are accusations that cryptodice is insolvent, which may be why they just opened their investment feature.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5269022.0

The accusation is for the not-so-small sum of 0.4 BTC.

Here's a link to the original report in the thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5264759.msg54998960#msg54998960

Avoid for now.
Exactly put on hold for now until the accusation has been settled since B-Low also agreed to received the reward on a monthly basis which I assume didn't received the payout for the Month of July and August.

The gambling site was shocked with the result of the game and probably can't afford yet to pay the reward in full but they must pay the player no matter what because he won the game and its final. Solve this problem to save the reputation of this gambling site, how can you play on a gambling site where your winnings will be put on hold for no reason.
1678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Chainlink is a shitcoin and will dump to zero on: August 16, 2020, 01:44:17 PM
don't fall for the hype, this shitcoin should never be in the top 5 even the top 200. It is a pump and dump by a group of scammers led by sergey. It has no real value and is useless.
Well, It happened Chainlink made an impossible pump from $.2 in 2018 and now a peak on $19 and keep on rising so this is not an easy road for this project and I can't say a shitcoin like this can pump that much.

DeFi attracts many new investors and the hype is still there so I don't think Chainlink will die hard as easy as we think. If in doubt don't invest but you must also ride the wave sometimes and enjoy riding with the whales, by this you can earn even on your so called shitcoin. This market is full of challenges and those who made the greatest hype will be placed on top so if you found a gem on a shitcoins, then invest while you can.
1679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will "De-Fi" replace traditional banking in the future? on: August 16, 2020, 12:31:01 PM
At this point, I just saw DeFi as a way to get higher interest than the way we save money in conventional banks (based on DeFi project OP mentioned), specially this month when DeFi coin pump and make the price overvalued.
Whether in the next few years it could happen even though at this time it still looks impossible.
That's why many investors are coming into DeFi projects because of a higher interest and its hype right now but its not enough reason to replace banks since banks is not just about the interest, they offer many services that until now is very useful.

DeFi will not replace banking industry as if the bankers will easily give up their company well in fact they already adopted blockchain technology that can help them deal with the growing technology, so if DeFi's goal is to replace traditional banking, then its long way to go.
1680  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Carlos dominguez vs banks on: August 15, 2020, 11:53:19 PM
Nagiging hot topic lang naman ang crypto sa pinas dahil sa dami ng mga naglitawang ponzi scheme na involved ang Bitcoin at crypto. Carlos Dominguez ay finance secretary ng kasalukuyang administrasyon at maingat magsalita yan sa harap ng publiko, so I doubt that its real. Hindi lahat ng nababasa at napapanuod natin online ay totoo maganda e verify parin natin lagi kung credible yung source ng mga balita.
BSP is supportive when it comes to crypto adoption pero this interview I think is not legit not unless we heard it from the local news and on social media.
