I toured the North and Baltic Sea years ago. Spent a day in St. Petersburg and another in Moscow. We took pictures with the police of several different countries, but the ones in Russia refused. I snuck a picture of the guards at the Kremlin when they weren't looking. Red Square in Moscow was most memorable, as was the Summer Palace in St. Petersburg.   (I didn't take these photos. We had a film camera, not digital.) |

Lol. She had a warrant out for violating her parole! Didn't know that... But the cops did! I called 911 and told them what was going on, mentioned I was worried she would get shot, they came and took her away in cuffs. Well, zip ties.

I really feel for you.
Not sure I would spend a bunch of money on lawyers but you could always have one write up a letter for you threatening them with lawsuits and other legal mayhem. This may help to scare them off.
I think you are hooped otherwise. The son is, well, related to the owners and has been living there. Therefore his position is "grandfathered".
If the owners are old and in poor health, fighting with the son and gf is NOT an option. They will not persevere.
Hopefully, you can find a way to distance yourselves from the trouble makers and, just, wait it out. This may be unlikely if the troublemakers are living on the property for free and getting free utilities.

it's likely we can get the utilities to their trailer shut off easily enough. and they ARE on the opposite side of the property. You can't "wait them out". I'm no lawyer, but I did do some research on squatting a few years ago. If I remember correctly (here in Canada) squatters will legally own the right to live there after a certain amount of time passes. (7 years, i think.) Since there is no lease you can't "evict" them, but I'm guessing this would fall under trespassing and that should actually make it easier. No? Regardless, (again since there is no lease) I think you can legally turn off services like water and hydro. Also, calling the cops for any illegal activities is a no-brainer. (If you're bold enough and resourceful you could even try "planting evidence".) Then again, you could always get some big dogs and let them run loose on the property, although I'm not entirely sure about the legal ramifications if someone were to get hurt. Hmm... I wonder what would happen if (one day while they were out) 'someone' stole their trailer. Good luck! |
