1661  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bitcoin Chaser promotes shady & provably scamming gambling sites on: May 13, 2020, 12:31:42 PM
Guess what - Mid May and 1xShit still being promoted even on Homepage as a "Top Bitcoin Casino".

Bitcoin Chaser: You have proven before that you can't be taken seriously but by now - thanks for that btw! - you have confirmed that you are the perfect example of how to not run a gambling affiliate site that claims to be independent and can be trusted.
1662  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🃏🎲💃 Ego Casino - Rocking your Gambling experience 💃🎲🃏 on: May 13, 2020, 12:24:44 PM
Hey guys,
check out this awesome write up Bitcoin Chaser has just put up about Ego Casino: https://bitcoinchaser.com/press-release/ego-casino-fires-up-online-gambling/
We really enjoyed it and we hope you do too !

Explicitly mentioning Bitcoin Chaser and being happy about them adding a review made me laugh big time. They are promoting some of the shadiest gambling sites out there and can’t be considered a trusted source for unbiased gambling related information.

1663  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: May 13, 2020, 12:16:25 PM
yeah cloudbet you should definitely change the withdrawal fee , the fees are nowhere close to what you are offering
also AFAIK most of the withdrawals take time so they aren't instant and you can start sending several withdrawals in same transaction to save more fees
the majority of your competitors take up to 10K sats fees as well

Agreed - some crazy fees there and when taking into consideration I have personally experienced extreme delays/waiting times for withdrawals to be processed, this is just bad. Seriously, some decisions you guys are taking don't make sense at all - I have stopped using Cloudbet for reasons I have mentioned several times already plus too many unanswered accusations that don't feel completely "off"...

1665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk Poker Series format discussion - Let's keep them all in one place. on: May 13, 2020, 07:37:31 AM
This is just a landing page topic to discuss changes and preferences for the tournament series already running on SWC. I will Self-Mod this thread to keep the discussion relevant and between participants. This is separate from discussing specific tournaments and hands.

Hopefully doing it this way will allow us to gather all the ideas in one place and if we can come up with a consensus or majority whatever works best, then we can ask for changes. I would also like to suggest we make changes to a series before it starts and let it run it's course before requesting any other changes.

Bring it all. Seats at the table, Starting chips, Level duration. I thin k there has also been some debate about the overall tournament schedule and point system.

Thanks for creating this thread mate - great idea. You guys discuss the future point system etc. and I will obey. Wink I hope everyone is cool with changes being made for the next series though.
1666  Economy / Gambling / Re: #2 Bitcointalk Poker Series (0.05 BTC & BIG BTC Ticket sponsored by SwC Poker) on: May 12, 2020, 07:26:59 AM
Hey there,

you guys are driving me crazy... :p Well, not really, buuuuuuut... here is my opinion:

Disclaimer in advance: It's hard to fulfill everyone's wishes and we will never get there...

- Personally I didn't really care about late registration because after all - it's not generally an advantage to join even after 50 minutes, is it? ... Provided we are playing some nice poker, it shouldn't be. Still, I will talk with the hosts and see what we can do.

- Regarding points structure: I understand the "pain" but on the other hand, as Hhampuz also stated, for me it is not an option to cancel the championship finale and just pay out based on performances in the qualifiers. Again, I really get what you guys are talking about... but this is supposed to be the highlight of each series and I am actually loving it (even though I didn't qualify Cheesy). As tyKiwanuka also stated correctly, it's like regular season and playoffs and as hard (unfair) as it may be in some cases, it's still a great way to run a nice and big community event when playing with fellow forum mates, isn't it? Plus... Men, I suffered so many suckouts so far... It's not like poker is fair anyway when referring to a series of 8 games. Wink Last but not least - players who do well in the qualifiers will also receive some nice prizes on the way to the final so there is always an "incentive" - that final tournament (in my opinion) is supposed to be a big, big bonus for anyone who manages to get there.

If you guys wish I am okay with adapting the points structure even though I don't see the need you guys do - I definitely do not wish to run the series without a final game though and I hope you won't force me doing that. Wink

I will ask SwC to reduce Late registration (20 minutes) - thanks for the input guys. It's only normal it will take some time before we sort out such details but please also keep in mind I can't ask them to edit stuff every couple of days - we don't want to become a pain, do we. Wink

Hey guys,

congrats to yesterday's winners - that was another fun tournament with my personal highlight being SyGambler (not even logged in) reaching final table and even earning 3 points... Cheesy

My friend tyKiwanuka just notified me that it's my 1 year bitcointalk anniversary! Cool What better way to "celebrate" this than a bounty on my head in tonight's tournament?!  Cheesy Whoever manages to knock me out - and that will be very hard of course - will receive a 3k chips reward in his SwC account!

See you at the tables guys, until then, have a nice Sunday!

@BitcoinGirl.Club
i hope we can meet again at the same table  Cool Wink🍻
If I am not wrong then last time we both were in the same table and had some good few hand exchanged. Yeah, would be nice to see you again but be extra careful when you bet against me, I am not a guy to call big when I have weak hand 🤪

@efialtis, more 1000 chips sent on your way for rest of the tournaments. ID: 45625360

Received and noted, thanks. I will have to join a bit later tonight but I will come and get ya guys!

Edit: Yeah, my bad, sorry! Cheesy

Edit 2: Oh yes, some sick tyKiwanuka spreadsheet!
1672  Economy / Gambling / Re: #2 Bitcointalk Poker Series (0.05 BTC & BIG BTC Ticket sponsored by SwC Poker) on: May 09, 2020, 04:11:54 PM
Joining in an hour and can't wait to see you guys on the table. So far I am seeing 12 seats has already taken excluding me. I hope we make it 20 at-least. Come on!!! Look for the prize of the final.

1. 0.05 BTC pot that's about $484.30 in current prize. Winner gets 40% I guess which is around $193.72
2. The 200 extra chips from each tournament can make 0.032 BTC (say on average 20 users in every tournament) which is around $310.20 in current price
3. Valuable BIG BTC Ticket: I have no idea about the value but safe too say the value will be worth something good.
4. SwC Flexfit Hat : Again, no idea about the value but this should be an honor which very rare users will have

Forget about 3 and 4. If you add up 1 and 2 then it's over $500.

All you are spending is the max: 0.008 BTC or $77.49 in the current price. Don't forget the fun you can have.

Come on!

BIG BTC (every last Sunday of the month) has a prize pool of around 0.75 BTC and the regular buy-in is 10 mBTC (10k chips).
1673  Economy / Gambling / Re: #2 Bitcointalk Poker Series (0.05 BTC & BIG BTC Ticket sponsored by SwC Poker) on: May 09, 2020, 02:57:15 PM
A friendly bump! We neeeeed more people, hop in and don't miss the action!!!!  Grin

Just over two hours left until the start of the new series. Hurry up, according to the spreadsheet, only 16 have paid their fees so far, which isn't great.

I thought we could certainly get at least 3 full tables...

Anyway, good luck and have fun!

Some great weather here - covid-19 restrictions are getting "softer" - I guess that's about it. Still, come on and play some poker with us even though you.cant.win this time, I mean you really can't!  Cool

Note: Future weekends will have 5k starting stacks instead of 3k - SwC updated the tournaments but couldn't do so for this week's tournaments due to ppl having already registered.

See you in a few hours guys!
1674  Economy / Gambling / Re: #2 Bitcointalk Poker Series (0.05 BTC & BIG BTC Ticket sponsored by SwC Poker) on: May 09, 2020, 12:06:16 AM
i just checked the tournament lobby for tomorrow's game---still only 3k starting stacks?!? what's up, @efialtis? i thought the poll seemed pretty clearly in favor of 5k stacks. Tongue

By the way, I stood among Top 10 in 'Play with Steve' tournament previous Wednesday. Don't assume that I'm weak player. My username - BetStrong. It speaks for itself as well. Wink

bring it! i wonder who will prevail between BetStrong and Betwrong.....

Yeah I have asked them to make it 5k but looks like they didn’t get to it yet. Will send another email now but worst case we ll have to wait until next week for 5k.

Yeah that's one thing that I hate the most but there are couple of factor that is responsible like cashout is available only if that betting selection is available in live, it also depends on market provider. They are not to blame since their betting provider doesn't provides (maybe?) .

Perhaps that event had no odd markets available and that's why you didn't get any cashout option throughout the game.

It was available live and so were odds for it... Wink

Some little rant, quick and dirty...  Cheesy

As much as I like sportsbet.io in general - that cashout feature sucks big time and that's been the case for months now... I mean, deactivate it if you can't figure out how to offer it appropiately. Yeah, I am very well aware that it's just a feature and nothing the customer can insist on - still, the main priority should be not pissing off customers with a feature that is not working the way it should. Wink

Long story short: I had a little parlay (3 selections) with a 37.5 mBTC potential win going - 2 selections were already settled (won). Third selection was Slavia Mozyr Reserve vs Torpedo Zhodino Reserve over 1/1.5 HT with the big outsider seeing a red card in 14th minute and the favorites scoring first goal in 17th minute.

Guess what? The cashout feature never opened up, I refreshed like 100 times but it just wouldn't open and I am not talking about it not opening up right after the goal was scored...

That sucks, do something about it and please fix this guys! Wink

Have a nice evening everybody and good luck with your bets. Cheesy

Let's get back to Poker and our 2nd series guys!

I appreciate all the input regarding charity and as mentioned before, I will try to have a separate tournament going and in addition, anyone who would like to donate, is more than welcome to do so.

Only one more day to go, curious to see how many we will be tomorrow. Smiley

Hello People,
I would like to join this series too. I am reading rules and understanding everything. I will get password for the game once I send 200 chips, right? Also, whom should I send 200 chips? I don't see any member with youcantwin username on bitcointalk or is it SwC username? If yes, then what is the name of youcantwin on bitcointalk?

Hey,

good to see fresh blood - yeah, you just send 200 chips to "youcantwin" on SwC for each game you wanna join, send me a PM that you did and I will share the password - I am youcantwin... Wink The username speaks for itself by the way...
1680  Economy / Reputation / Fake Accounts bumping Covir.io ANN - Massive SPAM on: May 08, 2020, 07:44:34 AM
Well, now that sucks but the transparent person I like to be (when possible), I need to post this. Covir.io reached out and hired me to translate their website, which I did - even though it's a covid-19 related project, I thought it's a serious and legit one and so I completed the job. Afterwards I was hired to also translate their Whitepaper and I was just about to start minutes ago... when I saw the obvious: They hired fake accounts to bump their ANN thread. Well, I guess I will now skip translating their Whitepaper and the payment I would receive.

While this is not my strength in this forum and our police is much better at that, I thought I would share anyway.

Twinkledoe commented here and he was right obviously:

Very obvious that this is hiring bumpers for this project, fresh accounts with first post here.  Roll Eyes Where is the profile link of Mr. Olivier Somville and other members of this team? Seems that this is just another project using the Covid situation. Can you show us those biosafety licenses that you have.

I am not buying this one of course:

Please avoid unnecessary questions and mainly, all of your answers are available on our website or whitepaper.
