1663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 17, 2023, 08:50:22 PM
I don't see anyway in which Manchester City would manage it to winning the UCL. The trophy is sure within the teams in the middle and that would be Napoli, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. Manchester City don't look like a team that could get it done and I think they might have to face Real Madrid again. If they can manage it to beat the champions, then they could have a chance else, they can as well go have therr focus on the EPL alongside with Arsenal after being eliminated from the Europa by Sporting CP last night.
1664  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the best way to invest in BITCOIN on: March 17, 2023, 08:41:14 PM
Can some one invest $100 to start or do you need more fund than this to start up any crypto investment , I have done so many research about the investment and making out good earnings from bitcoin still not working out for now I will be glad if I can get any ways to get it right .
As much as risk to reward ratio applies, you can only invest what you've got and it's still advisable that be what you can afford to loose but then, more funds really means more chnace at profit and that's better than less funds. You wouldn't expect to profit more with little funds over someone who have put a whole lot in the market. That is when it's got to do with hodling but, in trading, it really comes down to what you've put in and how much turn over in profits your trades could accord you and that means, your loses have to be reduced to a minimum. That apparently means, you take more risk than hodling.
1665  Economy / Economics / Re: Is risky to invest this period on: March 17, 2023, 08:31:44 PM
Hold on, but if you must buy now be wise to use spare income.
Apparently, your last statement is the inly thing that isn't questionable right now. Investors are always advised to buy with spare cash or what they can afford to lose to ensure they can stand whatever turns the market takes.

From the look of things bitcoin price will not come up soon, I guess is better to hold on till when it will show strong signal before putting in money again to escape losses and people who their investment is long over due are already victims of the Price dropping. We should try to be careful this period that bitcoin has not direction. Imagine a friend investment $2000 but what is currently left in his wallet is $400, and the deep is still bearing down the nuds.
At this point, it seems you bought the udea of buying when it's high. That's what I seem to get from that and it doenst make a lot of sense. That would mean, getting in the market when the most profit that could have been made has already been made. The market at the moment though bearish, has been showing some bullish candles and that's good news after the time it took to dip and stay really low.

Should your friend had bought $2000 worth of bitcoin a month back, he should be on profit by now and not $400 as you claim. The bitcoin price now is at $26.8k and that's some good news.
1666  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: African Gender Inequality (Naija) on: March 17, 2023, 08:06:40 PM
One fact way I like about this your thread be say, you no make am be about feminism. Na there e for just tire me but if na case of recognition and value, that na just based on the individual. Once you dey do well as a female child, them go according you the respect way you deserve. E get things way them no dey give person but, you fit commot come take am. If females feel say, them no dey give them enough, then take it. Person way hold something go always wan maintain control and like that, e no go give you nothing.

Another problem with women be say, women no dey support woman. If woman come out for something, other women go just commot for her back. Why? Most of them go feel jealous say, she go carry am make yanger for them later or e go be like say e don big pass them  na so them go con commot body. Like that eh, e go hard to break some kind barrier way hinder women.

The thing be say, man and woman get there place.
You go ever hear say man dey on maternity leave? Certain privileges dey get where e choke too.
1667  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Na like this we(Naija)go dey dey? on: March 17, 2023, 07:51:33 PM
Omo, its been just 2weeks after the presidential election and asking for a change when the new presidency never even get chnace to seat down na asking too much o. We never even accept the person way INEC don put on top us so, nothing good fit come out as e be now. Besides, this guy don spend billions and we know what that means, e must one get e money back and that one fit mean more suffering for the people, chaii! Who knows, Asiwaju fit do better o  make we see how the next 4years go be shah but until then, them no dey rush chnage. E go come when e wan come.
1668  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taking loan for investment can be life threatening on: March 16, 2023, 11:21:38 PM
I find out that his friend is focusing on meme coins only, he invested in crypto projects on pink sale, and the names are the type that you will laugh at when you hear them, I later told my uncle to keep praying that things go his way, he still believes that his friend is better than me and I am not trying to prove that I am better.

I hope things go well like they hope, but this is a very big concern for me, because if anything happens, he will be left alone to pay back the loan, this can be life threatening because he is old and the loan amount is a lot, or do you have any better idea about this? What would you have done if you are in my shoes?
The holy book of the Christians says, " a prophet isn't recognised in his own home".
So don't be surprised when all your advise and warnings fall on deaf ears. Just how could you know any better, a child he watched growing up and now comes to give investment advice to him with his many years of experience, both in life and business! That's often the thought.

I don't know, somehow, people tend to beleive that being a foreigner or having to live in some European country could mean having more knowledge about just any subject. Well, it could be just as one believes but what I would say to you now at OP is that,

You having to wish things go his way is the right idea and also be ready to console him should it not. Borrowing to invest in a highly volatile cryptospace is not always the right kind of idea.
1669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: March 16, 2023, 11:08:27 PM
Penalties are clearly a matter of mentality and in this match Gabriel Martineli failed to carry out his role which knocked Arsenal out.
Even so, it can't be blamed either because it's also very difficult for the task of kicking.
The bright side is that they can focus more in the EPL now.
Arsenal was doomed to be kicked out from the way they approached this game. Right from the first leg, the underestimated what Sporting CP could produce, used Turner for the post and it ended them in a draw. Coming to the second leg, Arteta had his captain M. Odegaard, Thomas Partey and Bukayo Saka on the bench.
How do we expect them to we expect them to win wth these guys coming from the bench? They just can't. If you want to get the best result, you've got to put out your best players. The dynamics of the game changed with the Odegaard substitution.

Arsenal didn't sort much in this league and as such, they've now got all the time they need to secure the EPL title.
1670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: March 16, 2023, 10:36:53 PM
Who could have thought that Arsenal would struggle against Sporting in the second leg? It has been a pretty interesting game so far.

I mean Arsenal couldn't capture the control of the game in any half. The second half was even worse for Arsenal actually. They just wanted to secure a 1-0 win I assume but things didn't went the way they wanted. This is just making the players quite tired before the Premier League games. I hope Arsenal can still manage to eliminate Sporting by extra time or penalties. Otherwise this will all be for nothing.
Certainly not me and you can be rest assured, they already laid waste my bet, thanks to them. Although, Arsenal have been more aggressive in this extra time minutes. They've been in and around the Sporting CP box more often, made several attempts and the Sporting CP goalkeeper Antonio Adan has been an absolute hero with saves after saves. Sporting CP is looking a little frustrated now and are committing fowls after fowls just to push the game to a penalty shootout.
It's all over now and now to the shootout. Who will proceeded and which goalkeeper would save the day because, I really think its up to the goalkeeper's right now with the players all edging to score.
1671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: March 16, 2023, 09:47:31 PM
Arsenal is doing all they can to win this game but Sporting Lisbon seems be a strong opponent. They are in the second half and the score line is 1-1 and 3-3 aggregate score. Sporting Lisbon just got one opportunities and they utilized it. The Arsenal team should be careful because as it is now Sporting Lisbon seems to be desperate to get a favourable result in this game.
Sporting CP is giving Arsenal a fight for there slot. From the first leg, they came from 1 goal down to lead with 2 goals and only by an own goal was Arsenal able to equalize with them. Now, in England, they've also come from behind to equalize Arsenal with at least 6minutes on the clock plus extra time. Still, Sporting CP has been looking very dangerous in the game, even more dangerous than I can say for Arsenal but, Arsenal might use there experience to try and work something out before the final whistle or they might just find there way out with the extra time if the goal against rule isn't applied.
1672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 15, 2023, 10:04:14 PM
Nothing can happen now.

Real and Napoli won their 1/8 of the final and they are at the quarter finals.

The draw will be done Friday.
Yes Sir, nothing can happen now. As expected, Napoli and Real Madrid will be in the quarter-finals. Napoli is too strong because the opponent is Frankfurt, which previously could not score a single goal to Napoli and now Napoli is really in the lead. Meanwhile, Real Madrid have  advantage in the first lag, there is no way Liverpool can win at Real Madrid home by scoring a lot of goals.
That the opponent is Frankfurt doesn't make Frankfurt a weak teams. Napoli has been at there best all season and they were in this game with a quarter final in view which have been earned.
Same thing could be said about Real Madrid although, Liverpool gave it there best but, this is Real Madrid and this is the UCL. Real Madrid are always that spirited when it comes to the UCL and its not surprising they secured there pass to the quarter finals.
It's always a matter of the better and determined team always win and that team is Npoli and Real Madrid in today's fixtures.
1673  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Wahala Dey: Naija Inflation Rate don Increase Pass the Way E be for January on: March 15, 2023, 08:29:34 PM
The part wey this inflation touch pass na for food because food inflation come increase by 24.35%. This inflation come reduce wetin we fit buy . That is e affect our purchasing power. As e be now, we sit down dey look CBN's next Monetary Policy Committee meeting to see if anything go change. But, walaihi, CBN no give a damn about Nigerians, the inflation rate  or anythin at all, them just be tools wey politicians dey use do witchunt their fellow politicians. As dem talk, if too elephants fight na the grass dey suffer am. Una think say CBN fit do anything to reduce the inflation rate especially for food?

Without any analysis to prove and with common sense you go know say, na just the lack of fiat currency dey raise this matter. Our population don pass watin to call alarming, our production  dey low and this moneyatter now just push everything go up because, most people way dey into export and export, na money them dey use. The fact say, consumers dey buy there money to use and this money cef na watin this traders go still use go buy other people goods and to replenish there shop them na em be say, things gats cost pass as e be. Fuel kwa no make the matter better, e follow cast the whole thing. Na for election to pass first shah, we goanage as we dey manage before first first.
When it comes to CBN, them don shred old currencies way enter there hands already and them no go fit go back to print old notes except new once. Make the circulation dey go on, things go normal.
1674  Other / Meta / Re: OgNasty is hacked!! on: March 15, 2023, 07:16:13 PM
LOL. I didn’t get hacked. I just upgraded my security a bit and felt the need to use fresh passwords with the new setup.

I am a bit shocked that me changing my password warrants anyone making a thread. I’m even surprised that anyone noticed. I wish people paid as much attention to the positive things I did as they do to me changing my password.
I saw the thread just now and I was like "Oh shit" this is someone that has helped so many ranked users in there beginner days and that's with me inclusive but, after going through OP, I saw that the claim had no base to it and don't deserve to be dashed on the wall.

The motive though is what I dont quite get and somehow, I feel its something newbies should look out fir in the sense that, what they don't know is much bigger than them and whn it has to do with ranked users, you have to trust them to know how to get around in the forum and so, let them have the chance to try out what they know or be the ones to raise the alarm.
This intention is good but uncalled for.
1675  Other / Meta / Re: Should the forum stop advertising mixers? on: March 15, 2023, 07:06:24 PM
Should forum admin consider to stop all campaigns related to mixers?

I know forum is against porn campaigns so how about mixers after this fiasco?

when mixing sites get banned here for promoting money laundering
Campaigns happens to be one of the things that ain't regulated in the forum, it is besides a project like the lost of others in the bounty board that have been scamming people and a re still scamming people. Mixers are just some way to ensure those who wish to tighten privacy by removing the links to track bitcoin transactions are no more. It has got nothing to do with scam other than render a service to all categories. How you choose to use it is up to you and no fault of there's.

When it comes to money laundering, the idea of cryptocurrency have been accused to have been about money laundering and fraudulent transactions. Do you propose cryptos are banned or stopped based on that fact as has been projected by the government and anti-cryptos?
We can't have that and won't have it.
1676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 14, 2023, 11:37:58 PM
From there we can see how pep was rotating bernardo silva and changed mahrez with de bruyne which is very effective to change the play style. This is what i called that pep preparing a surprise for leipzig.
The formation is very much the same but, the players made all the difference. He made a fine gamble by swapping his players and the style proved effective in this game. I hope to see something like this from them in the EPL where they've not been there best like they were tonight. 7 goals was way too much but, Leipzig couldn't avoid it, not even a response from them.

Porto vs Inter Milan on the other hand couldn't find a goal. Good for Milan, they made good use of therr first leg to have secured the win and aggregate.

It's not up to a year since Erling Haaland came to Manchester City and he's beginning to set different records for himself in football. With these 5 goals scored by Haaland against Leipzig. Haaland has become another player after Lewandowski that have scored 10 goals in a single season for two different clubs(Dortmund and Manchester City).
When you've got eyes on goal and your made the top 9 in a club like Manchester, your sure to do well. You just have to be hitting the target and that's what Erling Haaland is good at, getting in front of players and sending the ball in the right direction.
1677  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Fiat to crypto scam still existing always on: March 14, 2023, 11:25:40 PM
Let us say you are the seller, never release bitcoin from escrow unless you have checked your bank app or when you login into your bank account using the web browser and make sure you see the money sent from the buyer, (not when you see message or email notification which can be fake.)
One who falls victim to this scam in the cryptospace is one who is truly void of proper information and really ought to be taking note of not just what is in his or her immediate environment but also, that wich is within there crypto domain. The space is one that has got little trust and more of verification to prove the inevitable.

Fake alert these days happens to be very unlikely as, the third party have got no phone number to be linked with but, using apps to configure an alert with the account details from exchange is still possible. To avoid that, always verify. As much as exchanges encourages a swift transaction, theh also expect of you to verify that you got paid and until you do that, its important you dispute trade and know that, you've done no wrong. Just a step in the process.
1678  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I hope newbies learn something from this on: March 14, 2023, 10:39:19 PM
It is useful as a a building block for many other projects which is what makes it very popular among devs and investors too.
Apparently, this is no longer much of an attribute as to why the coin stands out with developers seeking other chains to build there projects on due to the high cost associated with building projects on the chain.

Someone have to exposed this to safe many newbies from falling into the same trap.
It's nice to have kept a keen eye on the project and the phases it took. Although, I wouldn't have to blame Camelot so much on the behaviour of the project being referred. It's got its interest and those of its investors to consider for sure but, it is as well a profit organisation and with the project haven't paid ther3 dues, its left for investors to sense danger on a project and stay clear. Altcoins are often pump and dump coins. Going after them poses some risk and this is it for a coin that has got no definite plan.
1679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A costly gambling mistake on: March 14, 2023, 10:22:45 PM
not all online casinos will put up a warning sign on their first page and say 👇

"New users are welcome, please read our rules and regulation before making your first deposits"

You have to look for the website FAQ and go through it first, I have seen some newbies that avoid doing this has they ended up shooting themselves in the foot.
I don't know of any gambling site that don't live you an accord box to there T&C to click before processing a registration. It's protocol for all registered gambling sites as a means to ensure the rules guiding the sphere is followed squarely and for there protection as well.
Apparently, it's mostly ignored by users due to an adrenaline rush to register and start gambling with immediate effect and they have no idea on what they've agreed to.
It's always annoying and funny to have them come up with theseaccusations at times on confiscated funds and frozen accounts. It's always up to users most times and if you play by the rules, the rules would surely guide you. When you don't play by the rules, it would be used in prosecuting you.
1680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 14, 2023, 10:11:58 PM
He was creating goals like not in the Champions League, but in the local league. Omg, this is a record.
He seems like not havingany trouble in scoring what an amazing skill and cahnce that he has at that time during the match. We may be very dispaointed with the first leg but they really become strnger andstronger. They are actally professional and they deserve it. 5 Golas by Haaland was incredible in a Europe Champions League.

Now, Porto is facing against Inter without any goal. Port got ared card in 90+7, can Inter utiize this chance to score a goal?
It almost felt like this wasn't a UCL match, like Leipzig wasn't the team that managed to secure a 1:1 draw with Manchester City on there first leg. I was expecting a rather difficult game for Manchester City but, they had it too easy instead. Another 7 goals performance from an EPL side and even more ridiculous still, in the UCL with Erling Haaland scoring 5 goals. That's got to be some record.

I think he's got his experience from playing in the Bundesliga side with Dortmund and the quality of Manchester City to thank for this. Leipzig couldn't come up with anything  interesting and Manchester City just had to run them down. Such an exit for Leipzig!
