1661  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is ok to sell your Bitcoin. on: January 23, 2023, 09:15:19 PM
I've been in this crypto space for a while now and there is this mentality instilled in people that seems selling ones coin is bad and one is heading to failure which is very wrong at least from my perspective.
I've always been on the track that investing in Bitcoin simply means buying low and selling high,  which I think is one of the keys to success in the crypto Industry. I always tell people that the moment you buy at a certain price and it starts rising possibly to a price that you feel ok and contented with, then you should feel free and confident to sell atleast to get the profit first and always use stop loss just incase the price drops, rather than having a little portion of Bitcoin and letting it get liquidated just because you want to preach and prove HODLing, trying not to feel odd.
So my question is:
~ Do people hodl just because others are HODLing?
~ Why do people hodl rather than sell and buy again when low
~ What is your major reason for HODLing and how do your survive the bear market?

I believe that every Bitcoin investor must be free to choose what to do with their money, I agree with you that one of the best strategies is to buy low and sell high, but it's also quite a risky strategy! maybe someone enters at a certain price thinking it was a good price and then sees the price collapse and immediately lose money! therefore holdare is also a more conservative strategy! maybe there are those who also opt to make DCAs and reduce the average purchase price by buying downwards! there are many strategies and everyone opts for the one that suits them best

1663  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: FTX - Sam Bankman-Fried è stato arrestato on: January 22, 2023, 10:30:27 PM
1664  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: Tabelle e grafici statistiche on-chain on: January 22, 2023, 10:15:33 PM

certainly Juventus will not stand by and watch, they will take action to appeal this sentence which penalized them by 15 points! on the other hand, I remember that they have been appealing and counter-appealing about Calciopoli for at least 16 years without ever winning a single one. however the punishment apparently will not stop only at the 15 penalty points but there will be other penalties to come
It looks like this investigation started from 2021. During the process to date, I heard the case had been closed and stopped they were acquitted of the alleged capital gains case, but the FIGC prosecutor opened a new investigation based on the findings. Ultimately their current penalties are greater than the FIGC's demands for the team. In addition suspensions for bans on involvement in football management were also imposed on Paratici (2 years 6 months), Agnelli (2 years), Arrivabene (2 years), Cherubini (1 year 4 months), and Nedved (8 months).  Source

exactly, the investigation started in May 2021 and was later closed, but in October 2022 it was reopened with a dossier of about 14,000 pages! but it doesn't only concern Juventus, but also Milan, Rome, Atalanta, Sassuolo, so much so that the second part of the investigation concerning these teams is awaited. a large tornado is unleashing on Serie A in my humble opinion
1666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 22, 2023, 01:57:13 PM

Juventus are not in a very good place this season. Although they have secured some impressive match victories, their team has had some major shortcomings. They have to suffer when they play against big teams.

In fact, Juventus had struggled a bit in the direct matches but came from 7 consecutive victories and had also placed well in the standings before losing against Napoli, now even the corporate problems could affect the performance in the league
The impact that would be given by the sanction would be so big. Juventus has been losing 10 points. that was making the players may feel frustrated after they were hardworking to get into the top 3 and it must be going down to the top 10 which is very disappointed for the players.
I hope that juventus will be learned from what happened in the past to be even better in the future. The performance in the league will be indirectly affected by it but I guess that whole of players got emotional pressure.

Juventus will never learn from their past mistakes, unfortunately in 16 years they have fallen for it twice, first with Calciopoli and now with capital gains, now also under investigation for false accounting which in Italy is punished with the maximum penalty. I hope for them that they can at least demonstrate that they were doing the right thing! but i see it really hard for them in the future. as far as the championship is concerned, you are absolutely right, this news destabilizes the environment and the mood of the team

after Juventus was heavily penalized yesterday with 15 points less in the standings, the discourse that applies to the race for places in the European cups changes a bit, now Roma and Atalanta will have one more chance to be able to obtain a placement that allows them leads to the Champions League next year, among other things the punishments for the facts against Juventus didn't end up with only 15 points but there is also talk of higher penalties
But on the other hand, fortunately at this time they were only reduced by 15 points in this matter and did not go to Serie B next season because even though their points were reduced their position was still in the highest truth and it was still quite good.
Now clearly with Juventus points today, several other clubs have the current hope to fight for positions in the top 4.

But on the other hand I saw several other reports about Juventus who were preparing to appeal about this sentence to Collegio in accordance with the provisions of the Sports Court Code because they felt this could still be considered.

Yes, it is undeniable that positions in 2 to 6 are very competitive. Moreover, the pin is only very small and adrift. But actually, this will not mean that much if they are still in the top 4 because they still enter the UCL. As for Rome and Atalanta, they must continue to fight so they can take over positions above them so can move up positions. but of course, it won't be easy. so maybe their target is to get into the Champions League. Because if the target is to become the holder of the Serie A trophy, maybe this will be a little more difficult because of the significant difference in points with Napoli.

.....

I'm sorry but I mistakenly gave Atalanta a goal to Napoli, my oversight! LoL however I fully agree with you, it will be a very close game, for Juventus losing again would mean making all the good things they have created so far vanish, but Atalanta will hardly give up without a fight, we will see a good game I'm sure
It's okay mate.  Grin
Indeed  there will be a high tension for two clubs. I am also sure that they will prepare their best squad. Hopefully, Juventus will be ready with their full team mainly, after some were in their process of injury recovery. If they are not, it will be tougher for them.

if Juventus had always been complete we would certainly have seen another championship for sure, I think they have the strongest and most complete team in Serie A, a pity about the injuries that have battered the team. Juventus vs Atalanta for me will be crucial for the black and whites, and one way or another they will definitely win this match
1672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 17, 2023, 11:58:49 PM
Atatalanta was also in the need of three points from Juventus. Juventus itself wanna try to stay at the top 3 if the club won't able to get the scudetto. Losing against atalanta meant if juventus can be surpassed by another team below it.
This is a battle that is going to be quite exciting and tight. And they are like risking their respective positions because of the tight competition in the Serie A board standing. Even up to the 7 rank, their points are the same. So whoever loses will immediately fall. Both Juventus and Atalanta have their own motivation and goals for why they have to win, especially if they lose then their position will be immediately displaced. Here, several other clubs should take advantage of this moment to win and take the top position, but indeed in Serie A, everything is not as easy as we say.

this year the Italian championship is very competitive, leaving aside Napoli who are massacring everyone, from second position to seventh position the points of difference are very few, if a team makes a false step it can easily be thrown out of positions they give access to the next European competitions, for this reason both for Juventus and Atalanta the goal will be to win, and teams like Lazio Roma Inter and Milan can take advantage of it to increase the advantage points
1673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 17, 2023, 09:48:05 PM
Juventus and Atalanta arrive at this match with opposing morals, Juventus lost 6-1 against Napoli, while Atalanta won 7-2 against Salernitana. I really don't think we will see goals scored again in this match because Juventus will certainly try to repair what went wrong in defense against Napoli. I think I will place my bet on under2.5 for this game
It should be:
Juventus lost 5-1 against Napoli
Atalanta won 8-2 against Salernitana, mate.. check again hehe

Yes, Juventus just suffered a very heavy defeat to Napoli, and of course this disturbed their mentality. However, I believe that they should have moved on especially if they want to catch up with Milan and they are also betting with Inter that if they lose and Inter win, they will soon be displaced from 3rd place. Therefore, it could be that Juventus are currently very on fire to improve the performance of the previous match. but it will not be easy because Atalanta is in a very motivated and enthusiastic condition especially after getting a very satisfying victory. This will be a pretty tight match.

Definitely had their egos crushed so bad by Napoli but what do you expect? The Old Lady have not been on their best lately and being pitted against the league toppers was something I had envisioned Napoli to win. Coming to meet Atalanta will be another test for them since those guys are still riding on the high of their 8-2 victory over Salernitana and would be looking to secure a crucial three points that would see them
at 37 points with Juve.

honestly I expected a much more balanced match between Napoli and Juventus, I never expected a one-sided match, not to forget that two contenders for the title clashed, the best attack against the best defense, I challenge anyone to bet on a straight result 6-1 in a big match! now there is Juventus Atalanta, we will certainly not see the same type of match as last week but a more conservative one from both teams
1676  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Hardware Wallets that work with Smartphones? on: January 17, 2023, 01:58:33 PM
I am making a list of hardware wallets that can be connected to communicate both with smartphones and computers.
I will list all the wallets and add how exactly can they be connected, but any help and corrections are appreciated.

BitBox02          - USB-C directly or with USB-A adapter.
Passport           - Camera and QR codes.
Keystone         - Camera and QR codes.
Ledger Nano X  - Bluetooth mobile connection, USB-C cable connection for computers.
Ledger Stax      - Bluetooth mobile connection, USB-C cable connection for computers.
Jade                - Bluetooth, USB-C, Camera and QR codes.
OneKey Classic  - Bluetooth, USB-C
OneKey Touch   - Bluetooth, USB-C
SecuX V20       - Bluetooth [mobile and computer connections], USB Type-C [computer connection]
SecuX W20       - Bluetooth [mobile and computer connections], USB Type-C [computer connection]

Trezor              - using microUSB/USB-C adapter, and Mycellium wallet.
KeepKey          - using microUSB/USB-C adapter, and Mycellium wallet.
Ledger Nano S - using microUSB/USB-C adapter, and Mycellium wallet (firmware can't be updated).

WORK IN PROGRESS!
Nothing fancy will be posted while I collect information, but this could be updated later.
Thank you for posting your suggestions and new wallets with links.

I haven't read the entire thread yet but I noticed that Safepal S1 is missing from your initial post, this hardware wallet is used via apps for iOS and Android and via a web browser extension for desktops, in both cases it uses QR codes to communicate, if you want you can add it to your list if you like

keep update with upcoming fixtures of Juventus Serial A....

Napoli is the leading team in the table of Serie A; except for Napoli, Juventus have always shown good performance in their formal derby against Cremonese, Lazio, Verona, etc. I feel Juventus is going to win or draw.

In the Past season of Serie A, the contest between the two teams have really been great. I wish Juv luck.

EDIT: aggiungo quest'altra parte:
I entered my seed phrase in a way that no longer kept it cold.

Avete idea cosa voglia dire esattamente?
