1661  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Holding for long might not be the best option. on: November 09, 2023, 08:00:50 AM
Wait for some months and bitcoin will reach all-time-high. That would likely be in 2024/2025.

For those that wants to invest in bitcoin, they should make research about it and study the historical chart of bitcoin, halving and how the price of bitcoin may go up after halving.

But those that do not make any of such research in the past will not still regret if they are able to hold their coins and not sell.
1662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting losses, Take a break and just focus on Bitcoin. on: November 08, 2023, 09:10:42 PM
Bitcoin trading is also risky, at least it has way more liquidity than other altcoins. It is quite usually to try to get into other altcoins instead of bitcoin, because people see it as an expensive asset, or maybe they think they lost the train many years ago... Still, imho, we should start talking in sats, so it is not that traumatizing for newcomers
Bitcoin is not expensive because you do not necessary have to buy one bitcoin before you can own bitcoin, you can buy as low as less than $50 worth of bitcoin. Bitcoin can be liquid than all other cryptocurrencies, but there are many cryptocurrencies too that have high liquidity, it may not just be as liquid as bitcoin in volume but their orders are filled immediately with good market price.
1663  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Low Liquidity Altcoins on: November 08, 2023, 06:13:42 PM
No data is available for it on Coinmarketcap: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/pulsex/#Markets

Scroll down on Coingecko to see the exchanges it is trading like eToro: https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/pulsex

Do not waste your time on shitcoins. Avoid.

If you want to trade volatile coins, you can see them on common exchanges like Bybit, Mexc, Binance, OKX and many others. I mean coins among first 500 in marketcap, unlike the one you asked that is not among first 2500 coins.
1664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some things you should always avoid while gambling ? on: November 08, 2023, 12:43:17 PM
Do not gamble when you at work place.
Do not gamble with the amount of money that you can not afford to lose. That is why it is good for gamblers to gamble with little amount of money.
Gamblers should not continue to gamble after several losses.
Gamblers should stop gambling after he won some amount of money.
Gamblers should not see gambling as a way of earning money.
1665  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting losses, Take a break and just focus on Bitcoin. on: November 08, 2023, 12:37:07 PM
Bitcoin trading is also very risky, although altcoins are more volatile and riskier. Just tell him to hold, that is the best for now. I have traded bitcoin and altcoins, they all have their own risks and they are all for experienced traders. I remember a time I was new to trading, I traded bitcoin with leverage and I lost so much.
1666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What conditions might cause you to stop gambling? on: November 07, 2023, 09:40:12 PM
But let's imagine, what kind of conditions might make you stop gambling?
I have been addicted before and I stopped gambling for a year. As for now, there is nothing that I can think of that can make me stop gambling. Maybe old age if provided that I grow old. I am not addicted anymore and if I got a wife I will be the bread winner and gambling can not lead to my financial problem, so if gambling is only taken just little and not a problem, I do not think spouse will tell me to stop gambling. So with what I see now, I think nothing can make me stop gambling than old age or death.
1667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For Newbies Interested in Gambling on: November 07, 2023, 12:37:17 PM
Being patient and consistently involved in healthy gambling habits will surely make you a successful gambler.
Do you mean a gambler should be successful in gambling? It is good to be patient while gambling and it is good to also follow the rules for you not to be addicted or lose too much money, but gambling is not where we should think about success.

Personally, I limit my bets to no more than 10 percent of my bankroll per day, I stop once that limit is reached.
My gambling budget is 5% weekly. From the 100% I earn weekly, I used 5% or less to gamble if I have time to.
1668  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mistakes to watch out for on: November 07, 2023, 12:23:31 PM
One of the mistakes I do is to trade when a coin has increased significantly in price. If it has increased, I go on short position. This is also what I do if the market price of a coin has decreased significantly, I go long. The mistake is that the market will continue in the direction and no reversal sometimes.  I later used averaging with it and I gain than before but it is very risky.
1669  Economy / Speculation / Re: My Best Bitcoin Chart Ever on: November 07, 2023, 11:07:50 AM
And if you want to know my future prediction, it's of $178,000 in Oct-Nov of 2025. Do not sell. All the best!  Wink
I did not use chart, but I used decreasing volatility. If the last all-time-high was $69000, multiplying it by 3 make it $207000. If we should guess that bitcoin will increase to $170000 or not, I will guess that it would as the volatility is not up to 3x. I calculated that bitcoin will increase to almost $170000 or a price that is slightly above it.
1670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Meta's no ads subscription and gambling disorder. on: November 07, 2023, 07:36:49 AM
Before now it was impossible to avoid advertisment on Facebook and Instagram. This has made it impossible for gamblers to avoid advert even when they have used control the ads options. Now Meta is giving users in the EU, EEA and Switzerland the choice to pay a monthly subscription to use Facebook and Instagram  without any ads. This special account can come for as high as €9.99/month on the web or €12.99/month on iOS and Android. Users can get this account this month and enjoy the package
I can never pay any social media money, be it meta or X for Elon Musk. What I am gaining from the this forum with gambling signature campaigs, I can not gain it from those meta social media, but I still prefer X. But nonetheless I can not pay for subscription on those social media. But on social media that belongs to Mark Zuckerberg, I have not been using them and I see them not useful for me than to make me not to have a private life.

Although the subscription fees is high to come low income nations but I think it can held to reduce gambling disorderly behaviour.
For people that pay for the subscription, not that the ads are removed. Nothing changed because most people will use the social media with ads.
1671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Believe That Reading People's Bad Experience Will Help You on: November 06, 2023, 03:03:30 PM
If someone has not gambled before but reading on the news and online about how a gambler become addicted and gambling become something else in the gambler's life that severely affected the gambler, he may not want to be addicted but gamble responsibly or not gambling at all. I have noticed one thing in life, that people learn from what happen to other people. But despite that, some people will be falling and still not learn from someone that have fallen before. But it will help some people.
1672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice for new comers on: November 06, 2023, 01:14:42 PM
Gambling is not any means of making money. This is where the addiction start.
Gambling is fun, if you can continue to gamble responsibly.
Have a gambling budget and do not let it be more than 5% of your weekly income
Control your emotion. If you lose for the day, stop gambling. Do not be tempted.
1673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What’s your strategy on high volatility slot game? on: November 06, 2023, 12:37:02 PM
Not all the games in casinos are for everyone to play. Do not understand me wrong, I just mean you should just choose the ones that you think that is best for you. As for me, I prefer to go for games that I believe will give me higher return with higher chances of winning. But it is casino, know that no games is not also risky, but if I see the risk not to go with the odd, I stop playing such game.
1674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should Casinos Sponsor Sites That Deals With Gambling Addiction on: November 05, 2023, 04:55:11 PM
Everybody will say yes. It would be better for casinos to even have a site that can help addicted gamblers. But should casinos be forced to sponsor sites that deal with gambling addiction? No, they can not be forced to do so.

What that is most important is for the gambling sites to have a link on their websites which will refer gamblers to sites that deals with gambling addiction.

But all these may not help until a gambler realize that gambling is just nit a way if making money.
1675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the best advice or should I just let him on: November 05, 2023, 03:19:08 PM
If you are close with the man, there are ways that you can use to approach him. You can talk about gambling with him and also talk about games that you are using to gamble and also know how much that you are gambling with. I think you have known all these already. All you have to do is to just advice him because I think you are close already, but in a polite way like you are not advising him. He will have something to talk about it, if he says it is not affecting him, just leave it be.

Know first when he started gambling, if it has been a long time like over 10 years, I do not think he needs advice. I do not think someone that has been gambling for over 10 years needs advise. But if it is not long, like a year or two years ago, you can discuss about it like not in an advice way and give your own opinion which the man can see as an advise.
1676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have your own casino. on: November 05, 2023, 09:47:19 AM
I plan this before but not global scale but rather just on my local community. We have a vacant house which we typically use to gamble with my friends u til it became popular gambling spot in the neighborhood. I plan to expand my house into a mini casino but later I stop due to the possible legal charges since my place is already exposed to the authorities due to popularity.

Although I dream about owning a casino especially online. I don’t have any skills or money to materialize this dream so I stop thinking about this long time ago and just play as regular client.
Paying tax should not be a problem. Those casinos that have license have a way of paying tax and they continue to grow, having more customers and making more money.

If possible you can give it a try, you should.

You can not compare yourself as gambler to having a gambling site. If you are a gambler, you are more likely to lose. If you have a gambling site, online or land based, you will make money, not lose.
1677  Economy / Gambling / Re: QuitGamble.com - Free Help for Problem Gamblers on: November 05, 2023, 07:59:42 AM
At least you came so real trying to solve a problem that's not solvable, not like other platforms that claim that everything that has to do with gambling is bad and as such people should stay away from it.
Did you see the URL? QuitGamble.com Which means you should quit gambling.

I have not checked your site yet, but I will do so one of these days to see the details myself, so I can recommend it to anyone who needs to get off the addiction page.
You have not checked the site and you make conclusion. I only read the introductory path which has no complete information and I may not be exactly be correct either. The introductory path does not talk about quitting though.

People that want people to quit addiction want addicted people to stop doing that thing that makes them addicted, like to stop smoking or gambling. It is better to stop than to continue to be addicted.
1678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Out of curiosity, how much you wagered recently? on: November 05, 2023, 07:16:57 AM
I saw people wagering a lot of money, but this guy took it to some higher levels... How can we compete in some wagering wars and competitions against players who wager so much? Do we even have a chance? Smiley
I wager just little amount of money anytime that I am gambling. One thing that you should have in mind is to never follow what other people are doing because we are not rich the same in life. $500 may be the weekly earning of some people, but this may be like $1 or less in amount  of money to some other people. While some people will earn $500 or more in just every single minute. Wager with the amount of money that you can afford to lose.
1679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Demo vs Real slots on: November 04, 2023, 01:19:30 PM
My question is, why does the demo mode seem to pay more than the real mode, and has anyone else noticed this difference?
Demo is also called the fun mode which you can just use to learn how a game is. You do not need to bother yourself why the demo mode have high chance of winning. I have not tried the demo mode before, I only go for the games that I know how to play in real life and which are also simple to play, so I do not know if what you are saying is right or wrong, but you know that demo is different from the real gambling. That is enough for us not to talk about the winning chances of both because demo mode is not gambling.
1680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Telegram Casinos good or bad? on: November 03, 2023, 09:39:57 PM
I did not know that anything like this is happening on telegram before until I saw that of WSM that they have telegram casino recently before I removed myself from the group. To be sincere, I have not tried it before, I have only prefer the normal one which you will register and account and play what you want to play. I will like to see what people that have tried it will comment about it.
