1661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Crypto Projects Will Be 100X In 2022? on: December 25, 2021, 06:04:04 AM
In your opinion, which crypto projects will be 100X in 2022?
Your list got many good and reputed coins but not sure all of them or few of them got the potential to peak up to 100x in 2022. It can be possible like some come will grow 5x and some other will show 2x growth and when you are summing up then you might have got chances to maximize your investments into 100x in 2022. Even it is not exactly making sense, I guess this is the only way which is highly possible to happen Grin (surely not kidding).

When people do ask such questions of 10x or 100x coins, I do find them greedy as they do list shitcoins or unknown coins but you are somehow different from them as your list consists of lots of good and real potential coins which is the reason, at least you may see 5x growth overall if you are holding most of the coins from your list.
1662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How good is staking coins? on: December 24, 2021, 08:59:52 PM
I'm sure there are many of you participating in staking coins I have a question for you guys, I have this friend who built doge coin mining farm to get some coins and stake them the question is how good is staking? How much are you making in staking every month? I'm not seeing people talking about their staking rewards but miners are..
I have to say people are still worried about these things and it surprises me. In crypto we do not know what would be profitable and what will not be, the chaos we have in this market doesn't exist in anything else.

You may try to do your best but sometimes something totally unexpected will happen and you will lose money or maybe you do not have any hope for your staked coins and suddenly it does an 2x and you get richer. Honestly things are not really predictable all that much. Is staking good? Sure, if you are lucky and what you staked makes money, if what staked is not doing well then you are unlucky and it is not profiting. But, this is not just about staking, goes for every single crypto.
1663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake.com & responsible gambling? on: December 24, 2021, 01:14:45 PM
This account has been closed for a long time and they still kept spamming me with promotional and bonus emails, even though they were fully aware of my problems.
As far as I am concerned, when you are got for any of breach in term of term and conditions, your account will be locked and NOT removed from the database. It means you are entitled to have all communication but not allowed to gamble anymore until your account is restored. In short, it is closed for gambling but not for other purposes.

Unfortunately Stake is not taking any responsibility regarding my issue and will blame me for their mistakes.
I read/checked twice still I could not find the exact scenarios of your problems. You must provide detailed information on the situation you are facing with them before calling them not taking any responsibilities to solve your issue in public forum.
1664  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - 2 Million+ in Xmas Giveaways | Watford & UFC Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: December 23, 2021, 09:58:20 PM
Clearly the sport uand the partnerships makes a lot of difference.
But to keep the customers is difficult.

But Stake is doing everything right here.
Eddie is like the face of Stake and makes everything more personal than it is the case with other casinos, where often anonymous shady people sit behind it.
There is a lot of emphasis on the community and it sometimes feels like Stake has become like a family of its own for some.
It is definitely difficult to keep those customers. When you are doing this much marketing, it is expected of you to get some customers and stake did that, what I explained was how they got their customers. To keep them is even more difficult and I agree that Eddie plays a big part there, not just as the face but probably during some decision making process as well. The marketing is for people to come here, the promotions is to keep them here. If you are distribution ... 2 million was it? Something like that, then some of the people who came in here seeing your name on some jersey will also stay for that much amount of money.

Sure, we are not winning that much if we are at the top and there are really not that many people who can even fight for the top spot, but all the others like me will have a chance to be at the bottom still earning "something", which is better than nothing in other places.
1665  Economy / Economics / Re: Dont just borrow money but for the right reason on: December 23, 2021, 06:50:04 PM
Another thing is to learn to diversify our investment. Diversification is very important but a lot of people never knows that. Like you said: Warren Buffet has the success rate of 6 or 7 out of 10, showing that he doesn’t just invest his money in one, but different assets. Imagine he invested only in one, and that one investment happens to be the one that is not successful, what will he do?

Another very important thing that we need to learn is how to know the right projects to invest in. You have to be able to tell the good ones that are more likely to succeed in the market, if not, it’s going to be a waste of time diversifying. I have seen people who invested in different assets and at the end of the day 90% of their portfolio was a loss.
The real difference maker is to hold an asset that pays AND gets more valuable. For example if I buy bitcoin directly, that can go up in value but it will not pay me, if I put my money in savings account at my bank, that will pay me but not go up in value. I could go with something like UNI or Cake or even ETH gets some proof of stake pools these days, and I could make money with it, but are we 100% sure about those? For example, buying a house and then renting it could be considered a "good" investment.

This is why many people love real estate investments, you get paid for something you own, but it also goes up in value as well. If we are certain that we want to take out a loan, we need to make sure that we have something that will go up in value, but also will pay at least as much as our loan payments each month. If you can pay the loan back with it, then the thing will come for free basically.
1666  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Fixed Supply Tokens Can't Become True Currencies on: December 23, 2021, 03:18:03 PM
Okay, let's think of a scenario and analysis what will happen if we have a fixed supply token as a currency. Let's think BTC is the world currencies now. In these cases, rich people will buy as much BTC as they can and took them out of circulation. Poor will have little chance to buy any BTC. When most of the BTC will be out of circulation price of it will go out of reach of normal people. The whole world will be in an economic crisis and violation of the law will be common because people will not have any BTC to buy food.

But that doesn't mean crypto can not be one of the world currencies.
What you have in that case is a very very high price of bitcoin, people who could still buy a few satoshi at the very least (you can't have 1 satoshi equal to 1 dollar, that’s too much) and we are talking about other coins as well, which will mean people can get included due to altcoins. Most of those coins are either limited (like btc has 21 million cap) or they are unlimited and we get to mine or stake them as well so it’s not all rich people.

So, in the fiat world rich people have billions and more billions gets printed ended up in their pockets whereas our small investments all become worthless in the long run. I do not see that as a good way of making money to be fair, I believe that it is a very difficult way to make money for wealthy people, they would lose out in the long run. Imagine the fact that there are more than 21 million millionaires in the world, so not even all millionaires will have 1 bitcoin.
1667  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - 2 Million+ in Xmas Giveaways | Watford & UFC Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: December 22, 2021, 09:51:54 PM
it's interesting to see how this olatform has developed over the last few months.
The number of people online has more than doubled in a few months.
On average around 15k players at the same time

But I also have to say that "Stake.com" has worked hard for it. "Stake.com" is definitely unbeatable from the whole appearance.
And the result is the confidence of the players and a good communiry.
I have to say the newly found football fans and ufc fans could be one of the main reasons. We are in December right now, and the watford thing has been very recent, league started in September right? So, that could be one of the reasons for it. Secondly it is just passing time, sure it has been a bit too steep of an increase but over time this place grew at every month so far, which means 1 year from now it will be even more, and 3 years from now it will be bigger than 1 year from now as well it is just with time this place grows.

So, combining the already expected growth + millions of dollars given during December + sponsorship they had for the past few months all come down to having some sort of big increase recently. I am not saying that it is expected to grow at this rate all the time, but it is also not unexpected to have some big increases time to time, especially during a month where they give away millions.
1668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good metaverse tokens. on: December 21, 2021, 02:56:11 PM
Can anyone introduce a list of good metaverse tokens for 2022?
I get that people might be worried about whatever they have right now and wondering if they will be the ones that go up or will other metaverse projects go up and then theirs will stay low. However, you can't be really too scared about these exactly, what you need to consider is that there is a good chance all metaverse projects to grow together or drop together so whichever you get in will have a huge risk but huge reward possibility.

I would suggest that since it is a bit of a new idea, do not get in right away, do not put all of your money in these projects. Keep investing small by small for a long time so that you will end up with a decent amount in the end but never risk too much all at once.
1669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Non custodial wallet suggestions for Tron and Ripple on: December 20, 2021, 08:35:09 PM
Can anyone suggest a good non-custodial wallet for XRP and TRX .
You may go with brain wallet for XRP and TRX. I started using brain wallet for staking purposes and it has been more 2 years and I am not facing any issues with them. All you need is, securing your seeds for backing up your wallet. They support all major coins hence you may find all your need with brain wallet in most cases.

What if I want to manage ETH separately, how will I do that ?
Do you mean separate wallet for ethereum alone? I use that way. I use MEW mobile app for ETH and we can link to desktop for convince time to time when transacting.
1670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New best altcoin on: December 20, 2021, 08:15:58 PM
If you are looking for a real gem, then definitely my choice falls on such a project as Animal Concerts. It seems to me that it is extremely important to have such a project during globalization.
Choosing a good project is quite important, so that in the future we can generate maximum profits, the project must have clear prospects and have long-term targets, at least it can guarantee future developments, to know that the project has a good trend, analysis and knowledge is needed , don't get hooked on projects that have a lot of hype.
It is definitely a very important thing but at the same time it is a very difficult thing as well. Finding the best projects that will not crash takes both expertise and also time. I personally believe that we should probably stay away from all of this and focus on having a much better situation with the ones we know, at least if we are not feeling ready.

If you could make a lot of profit, and I mean at least 10x from the day you get into crypto to today, then you could maybe start putting some money aside on testing and learning how to pick the new ones as well, but before making that type of profit then there is really no reason to believe that you could pick the valuable future ones neither, it would be a lot better to pick up the top 20-30 coins and go with them. Obviously some people will want to be a lot more risky but I do not think there is anything that worths the risk for newbies.

COVID destroying the festive fixture calendar in the UK. This does not make me happy, maybe Newcastle can get something from Man City to cheer me up. A Christmas miracle? I won’t get my hopes up.
Not only in UK, it's also happening in US as lots of NBA players have been placed in covid-19 protocol, and in fact, tonight we have 2 games that are confirmed postponed. I'm afraid the NBA season will be halted again because of the growing cases of people infected with covid-19.
I am guessing NFL is the same way as well, I do not watch it or care for it but I have seen a news about NBA and while reading it said something similar about NFL as well. All in all we are going to end up with not so great situation in all over the world, and sportsbooks needs to find an alternative very soon. We are having one of those very bad situations where sports could be at a break very soon, they could do some March 2020 stuff again, and that would mean that we would have to bet on something else.

Last time I remember e-sports getting a lot of attention, maybe the same could happen this time around as well. If that is the case then I would suggest finding some other alternatives to fifa games and just find something outside of e-sports as well to get people going. Maybe a huge marketing could be done as well, for the new stuff, so we would get more attention.
1672  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fundamentally good coins on: December 20, 2021, 05:44:29 PM
in fact I have been seeing some projects that have become scams, and those scams have been very strange, because the project looked very solid and with a lot of community
That is because, devs and scammer are becoming too smart by knowing what investors need or looking for and whey they are coming up with perfect answers then they could easily achieve what they need. In my opinion, there will be no point of looking for fundamental analysis at any altcoin.

Either people are too lazy to ignore fundamental and technical aspects before investing or they are setting up different criteria which again ignoring bitcoin kind of good opportunities.
When people ignore bitcoin then that must be their life time mistake and no one could do anything about that. It is their personal decision and obviously not everyone will have same idea on investment oppertunities.

If I select two projects, it will contain airva and another one is myid.
I just wonder that why no one is repeating the coins which have already suggested? Please do not shill for what you have baghold or where you are affiliated.
1673  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I want to know about Crypto Trading on: December 20, 2021, 10:05:45 AM
I guess these days you must stay away from any telegram groups and more importantly from all crypto related social media. Because, what I have observed is, almost all social media groups are trying to make people into their pump and dump attempts without letting people aware of that.
You should be able to know when you’re being used by any group to attempt such things as pump and dump. If a group is trying to make use of people to pump and dump a coin, it is going to be obvious and those who are smart enough would be able to sense it from the start. But, if a group is just there to be passing reasonable information in the market cryptocurrency market, you will also know that.

I do know for sure that there are so many cryptocurrency pump and dump groups on telegram and these groups, most of them I have seen, usually makes it clear what it is all about, since they are going to be targeting particular coins to be successful. And once they have hit their target, they don’t have to tell when they would dump. It’s a dangerous game, and you’re either lucky or you’re not.
1674  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think about staking? on: December 19, 2021, 09:24:16 PM
I wanted to talk about staking. In my opinion, this is a good way to increase assets that would otherwise just lie in the wallet. I recently tried staking on the NewsCrypto platform, the market situation is not entirely certain now, so I am trying to extract maximum profit from my assets.

Speaking of nws, I liked the fact that there are many different plans to choose from, I decided to try staking for 3 months to test the platform. But I think I was not mistaken about the decision. nws has a lot of positive news, and I think the price will only rise. What do you think about staking and do you use this feature?
I believe that people have a choice to make money in any method they see fit. The real problem in crypto is that people are looking at methods in a way that it would make them a profit, instead of looking at projects and that's the main problem. I have to say that it is clear to me, the method has nothing to do with making money, it is about the project itself.

You could invest into good old top 10 coins and could make some profit, you could buy NFT's and make a profit, you could play games and earn money, you could do staking and earn money, you could do mining and earn money and even while all of them look very lucrative, there is also possibility that you could end up losing money in all of them as well, higher chance to lose considering there are thousands of different projects and only a few dozen make people a lot of money. So all in all I would say it is clear to me method is not the important thing, it is about the project.
1675  Economy / Economics / Re: Only 50% of the college Class of 2020 had full-time jobs 6 months post grad on: December 19, 2021, 09:02:29 PM
That graph is quite misleading given the skewed scales in my opinion.

I think that it is definitely a real effect in the sense that they were not able to find jobs immediately following the pandemic, but just a few months after the pandemic the job market has become incredibly hot again.

If you are a talented coder etc. you will have absolutely 0 issue with finding employment in the current climate. In fact recruiters will beg for you.
Maybe in USA things worked differently and you guys found a way to get people employed, but where I live pandemic dropped the employment rate a lot and it hasn't recovered since. I have to say that things are still out of control and unemployment is at sky high rates here. Plus we are talking about reaching as high as 16% in USA as well at one point, sure it is looking like 4% right now, but most of those are at low level jobs unfortunately, look at the job application places and you will see that "senior" works are at all time low right now and juniors are nearly non-existent.

It means that people who graduated from college end up working at amazon warehouses or something, people who used to have their small shops ended up working at wallmart, people who had a great career before pandemic had to accept much lower offers. All of these are still horrible even if unemployment seems "ok" for time being. All those 16%+ unemployed people did not went back to better jobs, they went to much worse jobs.
1676  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: December 19, 2021, 08:40:00 PM
I do wonder what happens to the freebet when it is played on the game which later on gets postponed?
Bet is void which unfortunately means you loose your free bet since free bet stakes are not returned. If it was played for actual money you would get your money back.

My advice is to place the bet half an hour before the game starts and than you can be sure it will not get postponed. I believe they have to postpone it 2 hours before the official start time in Premier League.
It is a very upsetting situation that we are getting all these postponed games, I am hoping that it will get better, this new variant seems to be doing terrible and everyone is getting it, the chance to die from it is seems lower than the other variants but I am guessing that having it is still a terrible situation. It is not just football that is getting this trouble, NBA is in big trouble as well and that is a very hard situation to be in for other sports as well. Even our regular life is in danger nowadays, with the new variant we are talking about something that is making people go back to working from home.

I have been seeing a lot more people trying to wager because they have more time in their hands to wager as well. Free bets should be returned as well, we all need them at this time honestly, this betting is the only thing that is keeping some people sane (including me).
1677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Play2earn games on: December 19, 2021, 08:09:39 PM
So the pay depend on the task execution, you could turn into a mogul assuming the venture is exceptionally fruitful. Assuming that I am not off-base it's called GatePlay and right now, they have an abundance crusade now in the discussion. The thing is an ever increasing number of individuals participate in the game and accordingly more individuals acquire SLP which has limitless stock and no utilization beside rearing new Axies. If by some stroke of good luck there is Utilization for the acquire token, this may be an alternate story.
The biggest problem is that there will always be infinite number of axies since there is nothing that stops people from breeding them. So one day there will be 1+ million of them, and suddenly you check and see it is 10 million and eventually 100 million. We all remember the story of kitties right? They were good collectibles close to what NFT is today and they were seen as very valuable since they were unique, we could even call them the first ever NFT to be honest, and look how worthless they are right now.

So long story short we are talking about something that will get devalued more and more over time. You could make some profit today, but it will not be forever and eventually you will start to lose money on them. That is why I do not buy right now, it just doesn't make sense to spend so much money on something that I know will get devalued eventually.

Justin sun retiring from Tron and becoming an ambassador of the Grenada government to the World Trade Organization.

How it will Impact Tron Growth?

https://www.coindesk.com/business/2021/12/17/justin-sun-is-retiring-from-tron-but-not-crypto/
Honestly I do not know how helpful he will be towards Grenada on the world trade organization, maybe he will be great for them or maybe he will be useless, but it is definitely a great news for Tron for sure. Dude was seen as a centralization figure and was not really liked at all, I am sure that people will eventually realize that he is gone and they will start to see Tron finally being decentralized and that will boost the price of TRX for sure.

Obviously this depends on if they will be actually decentralized or not, if he left but he gave that position to someone else and they are not doing well again and centralized again with simply just a name change then I do not know how well TRX could do.
1679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 19, 2021, 09:54:13 AM
There are 25 overs still left for today's play. Haseeb is gone for zero, he is not having a good time in his debut. Odds are in favour of Australia. We saw similar situation in recent first test match between India and NZ. NZ was at verge of losing first match but they draw the match with one wicket remaining. Can England do the same ?
Indian pitches are flat and New Zealand managed to bat through out 5th day with the help of India origin Rachin Ravindra (some meme creators teased it like New Zealand hired Indians to beat India in India). So, that must be a very tactical move which may not be possible for most countries. Still, if more players other than Malan and Root start contributing then there would be a better chances for England to draw from here.

Yeah, there would be zero chances for England to win this match but they are having less than 50% chances to draw. Let's wait and watch what are exciting moments available for test cricket lovers but I guess Australia will pick all remaining 9 wickets for another 150 to 200 runs.
1680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Playing with dices on: December 19, 2021, 05:28:34 AM
I'm betting 0.0005 dogecoin as a basebet, so as you can imagine it doesn't make an awful lot of money short-term, but 150-200 dogecoin a day isn't that bad. I'm building up the bankroll so I can bet more and more with time.
This must be just your imagination and you are talking about profits from dice gambling but I do see when you keep refilling your bankroll then you might be losing 150 to 200 dogecoins daily.

Just because, you set your base bet around lower side, you cannot end up in profits with your dicing. After few rolls, you will increase your base bet and then every aspects of usual/old way of gambling will start playing and finishing up your gambling in negative way.

You will never able to beat the house which must be the bitter truth every gambler refuses to agree. People who are able to understand this fact, will play dice without any plans but to enjoy their days.
