........................

Above all, if you have a large amount of Bitcoin that you intend to send between two wallets either personal or exchange, try and test a little amount before pushing all your funds to your destination wallet, it will save you a lot. Imagine sending all your coins only to discover that your clipboard has been hijacked by malware, not that I'm saying your computer or device is not immune to attack, it is just a precautionary action I choose to avoid unnecessary stories that will give me heartache, it is better to pay a cent to test your destination wallet than lose all your money at once.
1662  Economy / Economics / Re: How is the cost of living in your country? on: January 20, 2023, 04:21:17 PM
I am a 32 year old male living in Australia.

Today I purchased some fresh fruit, a loaf of good bread, good quality milk and 2kg of chicken drumsticks for my German Shepherd (he eats human food only) and the cost was close to $50.

I feel this is the first time in my adult life I have genuinely noticed the rising cost of goods and services especially groceries.

Petrol is over $2.10 a litre and my water and electricity bills have also increased by about 15%.

I really feel bad for the elderly pensioners in this country. They are definitely struggling.

I would be curious to read of the experiences others around the world are having in regards to their cost of living.

If only there was a way for me to go back in time to when I could buy a crate of eggs (usually 30 pieces) for less than a dollar, now it has 5x in my country, you need nothing less than $5 to buy a crate of eggs, things are so expensive in the sense that the money we earn these days is below minimum wage, you can't do anything tangible the very moment you receive your paycheck, and it is killing the citizens, this recession is not limited to some countries, it is worldwide.

Inflation began when we went under absolute lockdown, and it is still going on right now even after everywhere is opened. The stock market is a testimony that we are all screwed from that time, but it appears that we were all misled by the 2021 market pump, or should I say recovery, that everyone hyped so hard.
1663  Economy / Economics / Re: Does a side job/business improve your finanical stability ? on: January 19, 2023, 09:26:19 PM

To make a living, we must work. In uncertain days like now facing the global economic downturn, a stable job with high income becomes a scarcity. A side job or business seems like more necessary than ever, which can minimize the risks of losing your current job, ending up pennyless. However, a side job/business also takes time and efforts and can never be attained whenever we need it. What did you do or will you do in order to ensure your finanical stability despite all unfavorable circumstances ?

The digital age has open everyone’s eye that relying on a single job isn’t always satisfying particularly to handle today bills that has been skyrocket with inflation, we are paying 3-4 times of what we were paying back then, there is need to have a side husle or job to bring more to the table, something that can help you as backup to your main job.

Side husle can also be time consuming but the advantage of it is that it's flexible, it's that kind of job that you do at leisure time and shouldn't inconvenient you like the main job. In fact, it should something you should do that you should enjoy, if it doesn't gives you room for flexibility, switch it up.  Kiss
1664  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your biggest obstacle to achieving financial freedom ? on: January 19, 2023, 08:27:41 PM
I want to disowned myself from being born and raised in a country that corruption has eaten up with bad leadership but when I checked and compare where I live to other other part of the world, I always calm down nerves but to be honest, my country has limited me the strength where I could fly to, I can't have things I want to do despite doing all the necessary the society want a child to do to an adult stage but I know it will get better one day in the future.

My list is endless but I will drop one of the biggest among all, it's job opportunity. A country that failed to carter for his citizens has failed his people totally, it will increases the rate of crimes and other illicit activities but all thanks to God, we are living the maximum decent lives and avoiding anything that will push us into hard situations.
1665  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin helps the economy of all circles on: January 19, 2023, 11:48:44 AM
.........................

All investments have some level of risk, but bitcoin is completely different in that you only lose money if you sell below the price at which you bought it, if you wait on and patient enough, you may not lose any money at all. I read an article yesterday that said that at the current price of bitcoin, over 70% of all purchases had already turned a profit. Even MicroStrategy lost money, and when I say lost money, I mean a big amount of money, but they didn't sell, instead, they continued to hold onto their investment because they believed that during the next bull cycle, bitcoin will surely reach a new all-time high.
1666  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A good way to promote Bitcoin or not? on: January 19, 2023, 11:33:19 AM
So my wife and i has a big wine 🍇 store and this includes other drinks as well, we sell in packs, and loads of people always come around to buy from us, I am thinking if this is a good opportunity to start promoting Bitcoin? I mean if some can pay Bitcoin for goods and services it will help even if they are few.

I believe this can make people start wondering what Bitcoin is and I will be waiting for questions like

What is bitcoin?

What benefits come from using it as payment?

Then I will give my answer and see if any people become more interested in it, some have heard about it but they have a wrong perspective of what Bitcoin is leading to believe it's a scam.  What do you think?

Wine store and drinks will go well if you include like a Bar or a mini club, not where people would come for that kind of extra affari activity but a relaxation center where people can hang out, gist, and cool off, this will increase the number of bitcoiners if they know you accept bitcoin, it is not helping you alone but it will connect more people who like bitcoin as hobbies and just for the love of it.

The main advantage of Bitcoin is that it is more favorable for a seller to accept bitcoin when the price is low, especially now that we are still in capitulation, you will have your bitcoin at the equivalent price and sell when we have increased in price, you won't worry much if you accept more of them now, so that even if you accept more in the future at high price, these ones will average your value for you at the end of the day.
1667  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin & China time to time waving History on: January 19, 2023, 11:04:36 AM
When one door closes, another one will open, and that is exactly how I would describe the relationship between bitcoin and the Chinese people. Just because bitcoin was strongly rejected there doesn't mean that others won't accept it, and in fact, this has made it possible for other nations to accept bitcoin because some of them have already legalized it as legal tender.

Despite the crackdown on bitcoin and digital trading in China, I believe China is one of the countries that hold the most bitcoin. They hold more bitcoin than any other region because they were the first to get their hands on it earlier, and I believe some of them are still holding it, nobody will ever be able to determine who is in possession of their private keys.
1668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you handle your losses on: January 17, 2023, 05:09:47 PM
Handling emotion after loss is difficult; for the past two weeks, I have suspended betting; not because I want to quit totally, but because it is beneficial to take a break and observe how things unfold. I recall that from the beginning of the year to the 9th, I won the majority of my bets, I rolled over even the tickets that were cut earlier than expected, but everything changed when teams I least expected to lose kept ruining my tickets, I also switched from Football to Basketball (NBA and Chinese league but all have not been going well) and I have put a stop until I see that things are getting better, I don't have rules, I just make sure I don't have betting Apps on my device.  Cheesy

I checked your screenshot on Google for the possibility of lying, but it appears you're the only source for that screenshot, I can't find any other source and if sincerely your story is true, then you have nothing to worry about, at least I never see you open any scam accusation why they denied you of your winnings or why they manipulate your games, they are sincere and that obligation is cleared.

However, I have seen other casino gives a bonus and free bets to their special customers but since they skipped you and if that's how Sportdbets operate, then you have to accept their way and continue your betting. I also don't support the idea of moving to another casino, you are good with Sportsbet's, you could start accruing losses if you move to another casino except if you do only sports since they are general except for minor options that may not be available to you, I don't support the idea of moving to new casino

I don't see what benefit I would gain by lying lol.

I have plenty more screenshots but no need to upload.

I disagree with you about not moving to another sportsbook. The reason I win is because I am disciplined and stick to my betting strategy. That won't change if I move to another sportsbook.

The biggest gambler in Australia turns over $1B a year and gets a 5% rebate which means no matter what happens he gets $50M in free bets a year. His name is Zeljko Ranogajec. I am obviously not on the same level as him but I genuinely believe I deserve something.

I was trying to address your first comments but glad you edited it, however, you should know that in a faceless forum like this, not everyone will agree with your statements or opinion so don't pick offense over some people's responses, be neutral and ignore those who don't feel your vibes, not everyone may like you or your threads and watch out for trolls as well.  Grin

Well, if you feel like moving out of Sportsbet, it is your choice, there are other reputable casinos and bookmakers on the forum, try their services but I hope you don't come back oneday that your withdrawals are being denied by a particular bet platform. Enjoy your bets and remember to pay your tax as well. Tongue
1670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: January 17, 2023, 04:48:54 PM
Napoli has clean record of good performance in the Champions league this season, from the their  performance in the Champions league they strength to qualifying from the round 16. Am so convinced about Napoli's performance that they will victory over Frankfurt.
That's wrong mate. Napoli didn't have clear sheet in the champion league. Napoli got beaten by liverpool in the last match from the group qualifier. that means napoli was losing a match in the group qualifier but it's not a problem at all caused by napoli was able to go to the next round. Napoli was still having good performance at that moment. The continuation of its clean sheet gonna happen again once napoli will be frankfurt. Frankfurt itself was a good team in bundesliga.
It's sitting at the fourth position in the bundesliga. I shall remind you that frankfurt was able to be a champion of europa league last year. It seems like that the team has a very good motivation to beat napoli in the last 16.
Napoli is far superior but it doesn't mean it can't be beaten by frankfurt.

Napoli and Liverpool only lost one match in Group A, and it was between them. They both played well at home, which is why they both have identical points in the group stage final. To be honest, teams change and I have seen it all over Liverpool, I doubt if they will be able to pass through the knockout stage but I can say for Napoli statistically and physically, they are in good form and currently top Seria A and no team come close to them, Frankfurt is also good in Bundesliga but I will pass Napoli for the win of the qualifiers stage than Frankfurt, they even struggled their way out of the group stage to this round of 16.
1671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 17, 2023, 04:26:46 PM
What's the point of him not being happy? As Barcelona coach, Xavi has won the Spanish Super Cup for the first time. Since 2010, Ancelotti had not lost a final, but Barca topped Real Madrid following the impressive performance in the domestic league. Barcelona's winning doesn't make them better than Real Madrid, but it improves their champions league performance from next season just like they did in the domestic league. After working hard, Xavi pulled Barcelona to the top, and it's just beginning for Barcelona to return to glory.

I enjoy how competitive the Spain Cups are because it prevents Monopoly, where we would repeatedly have one or two teams win trophies. I can't recall if Ancelotti has won the Super Cup since Real Madrid hired him, but I applaud his efforts in ensuring that Real Madrid continues to be the most successful Champions League team for the 14th consecutive season and that Barcelona also records a record 14 Super Cup victories, all things being equal.
Seeing that he has spent the past two years, this is the only time they have won a big trophy without Messi, the management will at least be persuaded to keep him in the club or perhaps renew his contract by next year 2024

....
and for the next match, Manchester United will compete against Crystal Palace on January 19. this will be quite an exciting match. Crystal Palace is also a strong opponent for Manchester United.
The match with Crystal Palace becomes trickier for Man United because they also have to think about facing the Gunners a few days later. Arsenal players are also better rested at that point so Erik ten Hag has to shuffle his squad well to compete. It will be a good job for him if MU can get at least 4 points against these two teams.

I don't believe Crystal Palace's forces are strong enough to defeat Manchester United. I mean, look all the matches they have played this month, of the nine matches they played, only one was won, and one was drawn, the other games, including the important match that will reposition them, were all lost. They will be playing Manchester United in their 10th match, and one can boldly predict that Man U will keep a clean sheet.

From the look of the opponents they played, you will know that Crystal Palace is a bit weak right now and now that Manchester United are once again back on their feet, I expect Erik to bag these 3 points to progress their journey above Manchester City to become second on the table.

Manchester united will win their match against Arsenal this weekend and I will stake on MU. No matter how strong and in the spirit of winning that Arsenal are in, when it comes to Manchester united, their spirit will be weaken becuase, they find it difficult to win MU easily.

Do you now think Manchester has been defeating Arsenal when their spirit awakens? You're placing a wager, and I sincerely hope it's money you're spending only for fun. Otherwise, Arsenal will disappoint you by winning or drawing, and if you choose to support Manchester United with a straight win, you may regret your decision, my friend. Even the bookmakers would not provide too much of a difference in odds between the two teams because playing against the team in the first place should be of merit, especially since Arsenal is playing at home.

Quote
Manchester united wasn't as formed as this last year, when they won Arsenal and I believe this present form of MU team will win Arsenal easily without any stress. Manchester city was defeated and I think that should be the toughest game that I didn't expect them to win. Arsenal can only try their best to fight for a draw instead accepting defeat and lose three points.

You should also know that Arsenal had difficulties throughout last seasoning as it was a testing phase for Arteta, the lesson has helped him this season and we all can see that they have stepped up in their game, the last encounter between Manchester United and Arsenal isn't enough to predict the outcome of their next match and last season was entirely different from this season. If you are confident in your analysis, place the bet and see for yourself that day.
1675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 16, 2023, 11:07:03 AM
Arsenal again gets impressive results, so it can be said that their performance is very consistent, and they are really strong candidates to win the Premier League this season. The competition in Premier League still has a long way to go, but in the middle of a season like this, it will usually be seen which teams still have a chance in the competition. Tough tests are always in big matches, like the game against Man United next week. I think this match will be something interesting because Man United is the only team that can beat Arsenal this season.
I give credit to Arteta for a brilliant job by raising a young consistent and formidable team, Arsenal always being defeated in White Hart lane with Harry Kane always on score sheet in the previous seasons, however yestarday  match result had proved otherwise meaning Arsenal are EPL title contender, their performance was superb and highly commendable, looking forward to their next match against Man Utd who was the only team that defeated them season, of course Man Utd also enjoying some winning streaks which will surely motivate them for that match, I am an Arsenal fan and I am very optimistic that the gunners will win that match.

I'm beginning to change my mind about Arsenal, when you think they may not go far, that's when they win more matches. I dint expect Arsenal to do a cleans sheet yesterday against Tottenham, the same team that denied them the opportunity to Champions League last season, this time they are not only making it to the Champions League, but they are also surely winning Premier League as well because they standing strong in the table.

Kane was about to make history by having the same number of goals as Jimmy Greaves as the highest goal scorer in Tottenham but Arsenal didn't give them that chance, I think they purposely wanted to use Arsenal's downfall to celebrate from the formation their coach used yesterday, maybe Manchester City will allow room for the entertainment when they meet this week.
1676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: January 16, 2023, 10:39:03 AM
Those two England teams u just mentioned will ever made it easy for an opponent team in the Europa competitions. No doubt, Chelsea and Liverpool are underperforming in EPL, but that will not justify for their performance in the UEFA champion league round of 16. After all they were still having poor performance while they were making their ways to this champion league face. To me, I think their hope is well wrapped around the UEFA champion league title.

The situation at hand is different from the usual kind of setback we see from teams, sometimes you see a team struggling in one league and doing well in another, but I don't think Chelsea and Liverpool will do well, they lack players, and I can see that Chelsea has successfully hijacked and signed Mudryk from Shaktar after Josh Felix, and Liverpool has also added Gakpo, but it takes time for familiarity between players, and it usually doesn't go well in the middle of the season.

I don't think the two teams will make it past the round of 16 in the Champions League. Real Madrid may be lagging in performance, but they will deal with Liverpool because they have the experience. I don't want to say what Dortmund would do to Chelsea because they are very good and capable of sending Chelsea back to Stamford Bridge.
1677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 16, 2023, 10:11:40 AM
Two outsiders from last place in the standings will face off today... Cadiz vs Elche... The bookmakers are giving odds of 2.0 to win for the home team and 4.4 for Elche... According to statistics the teams play about the same and I don't understand why there is such a big difference in odds... Of course Kadiz has better results in the last five games, but I think the outcome of this match is unpredictable...

I believe the odds are fair because Cadiz is hosting the game in their home stadium, Estadio, and considering that it could be an advantage for them even if they are sitting next to each other and possibly because they were able to win against Valencia in their last match, in fact, Cadiz performance is fair when compared to Elche recent matches,

Elche and Cadiz are the two laziest teams I've seen in La Liga this season. I mean, look at Elche, they haven't won a match in this league throughout the season, they have 0 wins, 4 draws, and 12 losses, they will undoubtedly stay in the bottom relegation until the end of the season. In the meantime, Cadiz has even managed to secure 3 points, it's still not great, but it's better than Elche, who is just sitting around doing nothing. Sometimes I wonder how some of these teams came to the top leagues.
1678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: January 15, 2023, 10:23:32 PM
Barcelona must be careful with the improvements that happened with MU. Rashford will become the main key for united to be able to win against barcelona. Dembele might be a threat for MU but im sure that MU has good team for now. MU was able to beating manchester city. I think that the different between MU and barcelona are not too far right now. MU has capability to beat barcelona in the europa league. The play off to go to the last 16 of europa league become even harder.
Juventus is also starting to struggle with its performance in serie a. I think that MU and barcelona were equal at this moment consider from the result achieved by MU

Careful? You should have waited for the final result of the recently concluded Super Cup before making warnings for Barcelona, trust me. I know Manchester United has improved recently in their performance, winning the teams that have been leading other leagues, but I think Barcelona would leverage their Champions League loss to win the Europa League on the bag, Xavi wants that, and looking at how smart Rashford is hot in Manchester United, Barcelona has Gavi as well, I can strongly say that Barcelona is upto this task to win the Europa League.

Juventus isn't too bad, Milan is just a point away, winning a single match will settle the points they need to be ahead. Nantes is the one who needs more warning considering their position on the table and the last matches they have played so far because it looks below average for someone who wants to win the Europa trophy.
1679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 15, 2023, 09:37:34 PM
After three defeats, Chelsea could finally win... But for now, they are still in the middle of the standings... I'm honestly sorry that such a too-club has had such a disappointing season this year... There is probably no chance of them making it to the Eurocups... Newcastle and Arsenal, on the other hand, have not surprised...

Chelsea needs redemption and a saviour, they can't continue like this if they want to get to any European League before the end of the season, they can still do it though and make at least 5th place before the end of the season considering we have yet to enter the second leg, but I don't think Graham Potter is the right man to handle this situation, they need a new Coach with new players like Tuchel said that if you keep using the same players over and over, you will keep losing.

Look at how Chelsea and Liverpool aligning next to each other is iconic, more like failures sitting beside each other on the table and waiting for their next match to flip each other or abandon the other, funny how the mighties of the Premier League have fallen.
1680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 15, 2023, 08:57:23 PM
Frankly, I can't be good for Real Madrid. Yes, you're right, there are still 45 minutes. Ancelotti will try to make tactical changes and close the score gap. I wonder what Xavi will do here, if he tries to spread the game over time tactically it could be a mistake, I think they should continue to create pressure and position. Finishing the first half ahead with two goals is a great advantage, I think they can protect it. If Real Madrid continues to make mistakes in defence, even the gap can be widened in the second half.

Not every day luck does shine on teams, they had that during the last Champions league and it favours them that we all celebrated their hard work, but this is entirely different. Real Madrid is so bad today that their game is rough with more number of fouls than Barcelona but this is Elclasico, it is always hot and to say that this is Super Cup final, it was expected but the effort was for nothing because they didn't have a single goal which is disappointing to me, Ancelotti needs to check Real Madrid because their last few matches is not good at all, they even came to this final by luck with a penalty.
