Paper wallets seem to work well for me for now. Interested in possibly getting a hardware wallet down the line but will have to see.
The idea of using the TI89 was interesting, hadn't seen that one. The comments on reddit mentioned some possible security concerns with it, but it also seems like it'd be an annoying process lol.

It figures if they thought they could get away with it, they would attempt something like this.
Large sums of money like this are very tempting to people.

The issue is more likely local PC security related than it is to blockchain.info . If your local machine has malware or the network you are on is insecure ( sniffing, mitm, etc ), then it would be easy for an attacker to get access to your session and steal your coins. I think blockchain.info is fairly safe to use as long as you ensure the security of your local machine and network. Having an offline wallet or hardware device is of course always preferred at the slight cost to convenience.

I would say the best way is to check the recipient address on blockchain and see if they received a payment in the amount that you had intended to send them. It should be pretty obvious if you see a transaction of that amount or not around the time you sent it.

Would probably just find an alternate for the ones that are already taken or a suffix/prefix to add to them. That or try to come up with a more unique name that wasn't already taken.

10k is a little far to reach any time soon. I can see back to 1k happening though with the right set of conditions being met.

One of the fundamental parts of paypal is the ease in which a transaction can be reversed if the customer is not pleased. Bitcoin transactions are irreversable. Many websites that currently accept paypal may be cautious about this. So that means Paypal will have to take the heat if something goes wrong in a transaction. Something I don't see happening.
Yeah that is very true. The irreversible nature of bitcoin would change how Paypal currently operates with the ability to dispute transactions. Could definitely be a concern for websites such as ebay where you are purchasing products from someone want a guarantee that you get what you paid for.

Slow confirm times can be annoying sometimes, but most of the time it's not too big of an issue. It is usually less processing time than fiat methods of exchanging money anyhow.
