All this for $198 (minus the amount he spent)? After making a decision to take all this to another level by bringing friends (thugs) all of them should be arrested for that, money won/lost lose meaning, all of them will face higher penalties and probably jail time.

He could try to call the police or look for some lawyers, but to bring friends to a fight is something different, it should be a last resort... and consequences are almost always worse than the initial loss. Now all of them are in greater problem than the sum in question for sure...

Violence shouldn't be the answer, as I said, it's something like the last thing to do if you are really out of options... I think these guys involved now have a bigger problem just because they're "hotheads"! So the bottom line should be simple, in case you get into some problem try to keep it cool, think about your options, and look for advice before you take some serious actions.

I thought the phone number verification is simple by filling our phone number only but in fact we need to fill more information (personal information) such as first/last name, gender, country, birth of date etc.
Yep, we need to submit the level 1 KYC details in order to use the services of Booi casino. We aren't allowed to verify the phone number only without filling all data of level 1 KYC. Roobet (your signature casino) has almost similar requirements.

When they made KYC mandatory (Roobet) I stopped playing there. There are simply too many good (if not better) alternatives... for example:

Chipstars has a promotion again, this time 100 free spins but at $0.25, for deposits over $125, without wagering requirements. No KYC level 1 or two, and probably the most important without strings attached. And I like it because I can play some providers (Pragmatic most of all) without using VPN...

When we are talking about promotions I think I should mention Metaspins:

Interesting reading: With Binance, Everything Is Not Fine

Like Genevieve, I am not sure that everything is fine with Binance. This fiasco with FTX and FTT can backfire on Binance:
Quote
You see, in the eyes of the bankruptcy proceedings, transactions made by FTX to outside entities (like the $2.1 billion payment to Binance) may be considered fraudulent conveyances.

And there's that thing about the "proof of reserves", it's a bit shady what happened:

Quote
And remember when Binance released proof of reserves last month to calm the market in the fresh wake of FTX’s collapse?
It turns out the accounting firm that was assisting with that, Mazars Group, quite literally pulled the plug on the endeavor, effectively terminating the partnership by deleting the website containing the exchange’s proof of liabilities (or lack thereof, as it were).
I guess they could choose some other accounting firm... we can wonder why are they running away from that.

Quote
This is a classic scenario for crypto exchanges, everything is fine … until it’s not.
If the stablecoins in Binance’s reserves hold to their peg, everything will be fine.
If it can provide true proof of reserves, everything will be fine.
If there’s no run on the bank, everything will be fine.
If it can deliver fully audited financials, everything will be fine.
If the U.S. Department of Justice decides not to strike with criminal charges (something we didn’t even get to in this essay), everything will be fine.
For each day that passes without specific and verifiable evidence to address all its issues, these “ifs” grow bigger for Binance.

Genevieve presented some nice arguments, and I can't say I don't agree with her. Don't get me wrong, I am using BNB and I like it but not everything is clear, FTX downfall raised some questions. I guess it's far from over, we can expect some turbulent days in crypto.

Hi, is there anyone having problem with freebitco.in e-mail confirmations for address change or withdrawing ?
I haven't received any mail for days.

Thanks.

When it comes to withdrawals I had an issue a month or two ago, I didn't get a confirmation e-mail... In the end, I just had to wait an hour or something like that, the withdrawal request gets canceled and you repeat the process. Everything worked fine on the second try.

I am approaching the 100k RP, currently at 88,000 points and I will probably not be able to approach the 100k by the end of this year, but I will be close to it. Before the premium membership was launched (and the WOF), I would never be able to reach 100k RP as I don't have any referrals, only bet low amounts on the sportsbook and never play the Hi-Lo game.

You are right, with premium membership and free daily spins it's a lot easier to reach 100k RP. I'm around 30k at the moment (almost two months from the last time I exchanged them) from daily spins, playing and using some part of the free spins... I think when I decide to spin all free spins at one moment I will get there, in a few months probably...

1665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Using Bonus Buy or Not Using Bonus Buy? on: December 21, 2022, 09:12:27 AM
Many of the Slots have "scripted" Bonus buys.. like "Money Train" ... because you can basically predict what it is going to pay out. (Normally 50% of what you paid for it) ..... but others like "Wanted Dead or a Wild" are very volatile.. and can pay out `maximum` every other day.  Roll Eyes

If you want to see what the different Slots are doing with Bonus buys... just watch the big streamers... and count how many bonus buys they need to buy, before it pays out.  Tongue

Last night I was buying bonuses, from +5 bonus buys only one was x103... others were under x10, and one was around x40-50. Of course, my balance melted and I decided to stop playing. So I guess it doesn't have to pay off at all, regardless of the number of bonus buys, if there is no luck, the balance will simply melt and that's it.

Hacksaw is crazy, I guess they can pay out "max win" every other day, but you can't imagine how many "under x5" I got from buying bonuses for this game. And I tried "medium, hard, and high" volatility buys. It's a pretty dumb feeling when you buy "Deads Man Hand", where profit comes only if it's over x400, and you get x10 or x20...

SwC Poker is okay, I'm playing there form time to time. There are not many players there for some reason, but the site is working perfectly, and there's always at least several people at cash tables ... I personally like the site. Also, several months ago I withdrew around $1k from the site without any delays.

Betnomi  is a great site for poker too. There are times when hundreds of people playing there at once. And they run lots of GTD tournaments and free rolls every day.

They still owe me two hats. I think I still have some tickets for those big tournaments we got from bitcointalk private series... with kids and family that game was too late for me anyway, but I tried to play it a few times and each time it was canceled, not enough registered players.

I guess we can discuss "several players at cash tables", as you know there were some accusations about collusion and bots in their ANN thread. They didn't bother much to respond... I can't say that I had any issues with SWC, but somehow that place "lost spirit" (players) at one moment, and I just moved away. Maybe I will check them as well, but I am not completely sure about that.

...
...
I played in few crypto poker sites but unfortunately, the traffic is not really good in crypto poker sites compared to fiat, this is why I do not really follow the trend of crypto poker.
However, for now I think there is no other good choice except swc and betnomi, I cant find any other crypto poker sites with better traffic than these 2 sites although I do not think that swc and betnomi has decent traffic.

Crypto poker places are miles away from fiat poker places.

As I wrote, looks like Icopress and Cygan are preparing something for poker players, we will see how many interested players there will be. Smiley Many people here talk about poker, but when it comes to playing we don't see a lot of action...

1667  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where to play poker with crypto ? on: December 20, 2022, 05:21:36 PM
Hi everyone,

It's been a while since I played poker with crypto, back then I used betcoin.ag but they closed their poker rooms.
Does anyone know a trustworthy place to play poker with crypto ?

Thanks

Believe it or not, I wanted to open the same topic these days... I'm wondering what is the best place for crypto poker, the most popular one, with a lot of players, good tournaments, and people actually sitting on cash tables, not bots.

Just recently I opened Betnomi poker, and they have some nice tournaments, I even started one... but I didn't check their cash tables. There's a talk about the Betnomi poker series: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5279745.msg61433779#msg61433779... So I will probably play there for a while before I decide to check some "old names" I know. But I don't expect to see much on SwC, CoinPoker, Nitrogen, and some others... I guess those are dead places by now, or with some minimum traffic. I tried a few new casinos that offer poker, but without players at all.

Anyway, I would like to see some suggestions as well...

The Binance blockchain is also created on the Ethereum platform. It's just that he has a different network, and nothing more. But it is also created within the framework of the Ethereum platform.

Yes, it's how Binance started, but:

Quote
Binance Coin was originally issued as an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum blockchain. In 2019, Binance launched its Binance Chain blockchain, now known as BNB Beacon Chain. The BEP-2 BNB coin was introduced as this chain's native token, and users of the old ERC-20–compliant BNB token swapped it for the new token at a 1:1 ratio.

Seems like free ride for the marketing guys. Just stick a bitcoin name into your crypto related website and boom, you are all set to gain huge exposure over the internet. Specifically crypto users will start jumping into the website at least out of curiosity and to see what it is exactly and what’s the offering from them.

Just like the way we are talking about it right now. Imaging if that project had another name then who would have published it here and who would have been arguing about it ? No one!

But we are talking about it because that is kind of marketing strategy mate.

I don't think it's a marketing strategy, it's simply a choice they made regarding the development of their native token. As I could see they just started with this, maybe one day they will create their own, but for now it's easier (and probably a lot cheaper) to do it on Ethereum chain.

1669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When devs don't even know what they are doing on: December 19, 2022, 05:06:02 PM
Token development on Ethereum is much simpler. I think they have their own reasons why they chose to create their tokens on the Ethereum network. But we all know the many advantages of Ethereum which is even now the second top crypto coin because of its excellent growth.

Bitcoin.com is an exchange, they had some nice trading competitions in the past, but I don't remember they had their own token, maybe that came later. In the end, I agree with you, they probably had their own reasons to create their token on the Ethereum network, but they are not the only ones... KuCoin Shares is an Ethereum token issued by KuCoin, and I am sure there are other examples as well.

Well, not all exchanges are like Binance... with their own ecosystem.

Guys, come on!!

Sometimes I play daily in Bc.game not in the last month, but it is a jaw/faucet like any other, its probabilities are assigned, there is no PF.

I have received prizes without conditions and also BCD, but the important thing!  I am not in a casino to receive free things, but if they arrive well.
But if you are excited to win free things, it is easy to spin, spin... and let us know when your grand prize comes out without betting $1.

By the way Argentina champion!!

I bet Argentina to win, but realised 1x2 its only to 90 mins and not the full game. At 90 minutes its a draw of 2-2. So I lost still. Anyway, congrats Messi Argentina!

That draw in the regular time seemed like a good bet, it's why I chose a lower but "safer" bet:

Famosos is right, we should play for fun, and it's not like we should expect to get some big prizes without placing any bets... if some coins drop and find their way to us it's nice, but nothing more than that.

By the way, I guess we all got some lottery tickets:

So if a person with low level, he can not win nice prizes on the wheel?

I hope Bc.game's operator can explain the fairness of Lucky spin! Are the results really random? Is there a provably fair like other games?

I didn't say that. Even persons would a low vip level can win a nice prize on the wheel but if you have a higher vip level, the prizes on the wheel are a lot higher! Since the new version, I have only won locked BCD, but before I won a couple of times 50 DOGE, 1 XLM, ...

I also can vouch that with the new version something in method of assigning wheel reward has definitely changed : I have a very low level there and now I always only get  locked 0.01 BCD meanwhile in the past I was getting everyday a random differnt prize.

The problem is "that low level"! As Babygun wrote in previous posts "wheel prize depends on your wagering", and I confirmed that with my experience. With wagering, we are getting more chances to win higher prizes on the wheel... When I am active I get some coins from the wheel, when I am not active I get locked BCD's, 0.05. But as I wrote, from my knowledge guys who spin "Mega Wheel" are getting nice daily prizes.

Like in every other casino, it's all about the wagering.

Both of them will do everything to reach third place, so it's difficult to predict who will win here. Croatia is the favorite, and they have already reached the top of the championship several times, but Morocco really shined this time and after everything they showed, maybe they deserve to win and go down in history as the first African team to reach such high level.
Usually, the matches for third place in the world championships bring us a lot of goals, considering that both teams will do their best to win, I think we will see goals on both sides. I decided to try both teams to score & over 2.5. I expect an open game and early goals...

Good luck all!

My opinion is different.
Both teams have a very good defense so I don't expect many goals in the match.
I think it is a very realistic scenario that the match ends without goals, 0:0 and that in the end penalties decide the winner.
I will bet on this option.
It looks like both teams will play without several important players due to injuries, and it remains to be seen how this will affect their game.
Maybe Croatia is a slight favorite because of experience.

As you can see my prediction was accurate this time. I expected an early goal, but I didn't expect all 3 goals in the first half, to be honest... After that start, I thought we will see more goals in the second half, but that didn't happen, too many missed chances.

It's gambling, and one of the reasons for so many markets for each game is that people have different opinions. But in the end, sometimes we have a good hit, and sometimes we are make a wrong bet.
1674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are we ever going to see this on gambling platforms some day. on: December 17, 2022, 06:04:13 PM
Is there any fighting game like Mortal Kombat where you challenge gamers around the world taking a bet? I don't want to take bet on Mike Tyson or Joshua I want gaming by one self, I believe this is less dependant on Luck, this requires more skill than mere luck.
Yeah, this is a kind person vs person gambling, you have a point mate, would really be great if some day, we could have a casino platform where users can digitally challenge other users to a fight, putting down a bet which can be taken by the winner after the casino might have removed their commission.
I think this kind of game is already available on some NFT platforms like axie infinity and the rest, but this requires holding some NFTs which for some players might be too expensive to purchase, a casino building a game like this where users challenge other users to a game or fighting or even cards would be really amazing.

But in the end, axie is so different, you build your character. In games like Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Tekken, and many others, we just get a character with assigned abilities and powers. So it's more about the fighting and "fast fingers" than about the cards you hold.

These kinds of games will never find their way to traditional gambling sites. Maybe one day with the development of the metaverse there will be some projects focusing on PvP games with some built-in betting options, but even that is in question. How many players are ready to play and bet on these games in reality?! If I compare it with poker on this forum, too many people here just talk about it but they don't play, I guess it's the same with PvP games... a lot of talks, but when it comes to paying & playing the numbers show how many people are really interested.

I have a little trust in Tether, enough to use it to get in & out of some trades. A few times I gambled with Tether, but after that, I would buy some coins back. I never hold it longer than I need it...

I guess all stable coins are shady, but until now everything was fine with most of them. TerraUSD collapse shows that every stablecoin can drop big time and make a pretty nasty situation for all the people that got trapped holding that stable coin!

Just how bad is the bear market right now?
Historically low prices have endured for a longer period of time in the present bear market cycle than in any other.

So many hodlers hope to be able to sell their token this period of celebration but it seems to me that it might not be possible because if they decide to sell they might be selling at a loss and no one wants to be at a loss in their business.
And even those businesses that accept Bitcoin as a means of payment I'm still wondering how their businesses are doing now in this bear market.

So I would say that the market is pretty bad for those that are hoping to use their funds in this bear market. While for those who are not concerned it might just be an opportunity for them.

I would say the same as always, it depends on when you entered! This bear market right now is bad for people who started investing in the last bull run! But if you think about the people who are in long before that it's totally different picture, some coins are holding at some prices that are higher compare to the ones from a few years ago.

This bear market is not bad. At least not yet, I think we didn't touch the bottom yet.
1678  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving one third what you earn monthly is not that hard, isn't it ? on: December 16, 2022, 06:41:03 PM
If you are in twenties or early thirties and remain single...

I'm not in my twenties or early thirties, and I am not single... but I remember that time! Mostly it was about fun and entertainment. I'm not sure how big a salary would be enough for all my wishes and plus to have some leftovers. I was always short, and still, I missed so many things...

I guess it's a dilemma we all have to deal with. To enjoy life or to suffer without anything until you get more money? But it's not like a clear choice we can make, there are no guarantees in life!

And in the end, we don't all have the same opportunities. Living conditions are different for many of us, not to mention our characters and knowledge. Simply there are many factors that affect us and our possibilities. And while some people can save a lot more than one-third of their monthly income, many others are struggling to get through the day.
1679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 16, 2022, 03:07:27 PM
Meanwhile, France which is currently without Benzema, is possibility will not win in this final, although the current French squad can't be underestimated, but against Argentina and Messi will be the toughest for them. Also usually I tend favorited France for win, but this time I'm going to switch to Messi with Argentina.
Why? France goes to the final without benzema and i see no problem for france against argentina in the final without him. I think that you're undesestimating france. It can be seen from how you are thinking benzema was affecting the france while he never plays in the current world cup with france. Let's see whether messi can perform offensive against france or not. France never become an underrated team for now. Mbappe may able to defeat messi and messi may go home without trophy. The most hyped match will be coming very soon.

This will be a real spectacle, no doubt about that! Both teams deserved to be in the finals. The bookmakers give them equal chances, so it's difficult to draw any conclusion about who is the favorite here. The playing style of both teams is attacking, so I hope that there will be goals on both sides in this final! I wouldn't be surprised if see a draw and penalties, very nice odds for that!

I will stick with France:
I submitted my predictions and somehow ended with Brazil vs France in the final game. I chose France as the winner! Smiley

I thought they would play against Brazil, but Croatia stopped them and later lost to Argentina... I was close. Smiley
1680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is There Any Crypto Casino With An In-built Mini Crypto Exchange? on: December 16, 2022, 06:31:56 AM
BC.Game and Chips have a mini crypto exchange... Not all coins/tokens are available for exchanging at BC, and Chips have higher fees.

....
If we like to gamble with USDT or SHIBA, just deposit these coins next time for comfortability.

We are the one who needs to adjust and not the gambling sites.

Chips (and some other dividend-based casinos) give rewards in different coins. At BC there is a wheel, prizes for some tasks and coco are in BCD, and there are other coin drops... From the experience, when you are a regular player after some time balances look like a real salad! There is something in every coin, and separated like that is almost like nothing, but combining them can be a good thing to do if it's possible.
