1661  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exchangers Are safer then Banks and wallets on: November 13, 2022, 02:33:07 PM
Exchangers like binance Are safer then banks and walllets.
Becouse If something happens they always refund losses.
Binance have done this many times and i know there someone to watch over my wealth.
Private wallets they can be hacked but nobody dont refund.

We live of generation of refund, in crypto main thing Are refund what i did learn about.

You didn't heard about bank insurance? If not read this maybe it will change your thoughts about what you are saying here.

Try to read below.

Banking Insurance

Exchange doesn't guarantee you a refund to many exchange has been hacked before and even now. See also how FTX currently goes at the moment since this creates huge problem to their users and there's no clear sign if they user will get a refund on their money left there. So if you think you can trust more the exchange than the bank I think you have a serious problem on your beliefs.
1662  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🎁 BIRTHDAY for $1 000 000| Trip to Las Vegas & BMW M8 😎 on: November 13, 2022, 11:53:06 AM
It's worth noting that a user should have a lot of patience to collect so many BFG tokens from free boxes. On the one hand, this shows that Betfury is very friendly for beginners, given that anyone can start gambling for free. On the one hand, it takes a very long time to collect that amount of BFG tokens, while the daily dividends are still quite insignificant, even if the user claims free boxes for a year or more.

Yeah, Betfury target early user to have a great casino experience first without the need to risk money so that they will deposit later on once they like the casino. The daily free tournament is the proof of what you notice about Betfury. Anyone can participate on free token tournament and earn the prize even though they don't deposit real money to play.

Betfury is focusing on building there community and not focusing mainly on whale players. They are very fair.

Every casino wants whale players to play at the casino, because whale players spend millions of dollars in the casino and the casino makes a lot of money from whale players, of course it is not easy to attract whale players. building a solid and reputable casino will attract whale players, which angers whale players and KYC, when a casino starts being tough on this KYC issue scares whale players

Every businessman want whales to come to their platform but they cannot make that if they don't have solid community so building up first the community and see how fair they are can attract huge number of players including those whales which can spend a lot of money just to play the game. For sure whales will not play on casino if they don't see any huge activities coming happening on the platform. Also I believe they are truly aware about those KYC so for sure they are selective on reputation before going in so I believe this is not main issue to them.
1663  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BEWARE OF BINANCE P2P on: November 13, 2022, 10:21:51 AM
P.S. I was scammed in Binance P2P about 3 weeks ago.

Was it through the same modus operandi?
Maybe that it is since I also heard so many scams happened on p2p maybe binance should do something with this since eventhough how strict they are still there are people who can do such activities to their platform.

If the amount involve is huge then maybe they the affected person should file a case so that binance will cooperate then this guys will be in jail.
1664  Economy / Exchanges / Re: FTX has been hacked, delete the app, don't go to website on: November 12, 2022, 02:49:46 PM
Many people believe that this is inside job and can't blame them to think this way since this is common thing happen after a platform have an issue. So better listen first on what they are saying since not opening their site will make us safe since we don't know if hacker or them might do something nasty which can affect us badly.

This remind that no exchange is safe how big or trusted they are.
1665  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: News and fud for example ftx on: November 12, 2022, 11:14:25 AM
FTX might be a huge threat to many, that’s why it left them with no choice but to create FUD and dump this project, now it files for bankruptcy which can give them an access to some funds that freezes by other institutions.

There’s no guarantee that FTX can survive this, many investors will leave for sure and only scalpers will left hoping for a possible reversal of the trend but for me, this is already a dead end for this project, so be careful dealing with this and trade properly to avoid being liquidated.

For controversy they are facing on and how hard the lives of people still have balance on their exchange for sure they will curse them and tell that they will never go back if FTX will get a revive in future. Many people leaving then already because there reputation are so ruined with this incident. Also the fud spread about hacking is really bad since this will add the burden of people and thinking about negative about the whole market which can affect all investor since many think that it will dump more because of this huge issues.
1666  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 🖤 - Road to Riches raffle taking you to Las Vegas! ✈️ on: November 11, 2022, 11:57:20 AM
Hey guys,

What a night for crypto yesterday! I believe most of you around here keep your BTC or other currencies in your wallets anyway. But what do you think about the impact of this?

-Karl

Yet another lesson to keep your stash in cold storage. It’s sad that people get burnt like this but leaving your stash in the control of a third party is always asking for trouble.

I managed to buy a nice amount at $16,1xx last night. Withdrawn from Coinbase straight away & into a device that only I can access Smiley

Regarding the demise of FTX, it’ll hurt the industry short term but we will recover & see new ATH’s within 3 years. I’ve been heavily involved in bitcoin since 2014, this is nothing we haven’t seen before, just a minor speed bump on the route to global mainstream adoption Smiley

I've been on 2 halving season and I see more worse than this that's why I'm not worried about the possible outcome since for sure another bull run will came in future. This is the best time to accumulate and that's what I currently do. Also I'm also monitoring to see on when do I do long or I will take short since market still unknown on when thing became in good shape.

As we see a good adoption happened for sure this dumping scenario is just nothing since for what adoption achieve by bitcoin this year it has a high chance it will be double or get more global acceptance in future.
1667  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to protect your bitcoin in a real estate transaction? on: November 11, 2022, 09:14:11 AM
selling a large property and both parties have agreed on the amount and will do the final transaction in bitcoin.  So in process, there are people who will know that X amount of bitcoin has been received in a public wallet that belongs to me.

what are my options in protecting myself from physical attacks?  transfer the bitcoin to another wallet, letting others believe that I am not the holder of those bitcoins anymore?

note: I have already purchased my ledger nano.

To make that transaction safe better do meet up with the buyer so that you can make sure that he really sent the amount and also you can see if the balance reflect on your wallet then sign the papers to make all things smooth and safety at your end.

try also to use the mixers given if you want to try to hide that balance since from that it gives you little security to be traced by anyone.
1668  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FTX Scam : Unable to withdraw on: November 10, 2022, 10:02:35 AM
I will never trust cex anymore.
Keep buying bitcoin to hardware wallet.

That's the smart way to do since buying bitcoin and store it on cex will give you a huge risk to lose your money, so if you plan to buy some bitcoins then hold it better withdraw it and store on your hardware wallet because this is safe destination of your holdings.

At the moment there's a lot of problem happening of one of the biggest exchange exist at this era so most provably this drama will create lots of commotion which can make the price move and discourage some of people to invest on any crypto at this point.
1669  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FTX Scam : Unable to withdraw on: November 09, 2022, 11:23:47 PM
Recently we have seen some really bad scenes when two crypto exchanges Binance and FTX have some issues and one want to dominate the other.

I will not go into details as we already hearing updates on bitcointalk and Twitter but the most frustrating and bad thing is that FTX has disabled the withdrawals and they are not processing them.  Undecided

If FTX does not have any funds with them and FTT token is dumping to zero, can we expect another major crypto exchange scam? Why do we have to suffer always?

If you hear any good news about withdrawals on social media or on their official Twitter account, please do share it here.

This might be another Mt.gox the same scene and if the dump on their token is uncontrollable then maybe we see more frustrating scenarios coming from people who hold their tokens as well unto their platform users.

I don't believe they don't have funds but maybe they do that stopping the withdrawal to minimize the damage they got due to some bad news happening to them so I guess people need to relax a little bit since for sure they cannot easily do exit scam since they are well monitored by big institutions.
1670  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning]: Laplas, new clipboard malware on: November 09, 2022, 12:17:26 PM
Quote
Laplas is new clipper malware that generates a wallet address similar to the victim’s wallet address. The victim will not notice the difference in the address, which significantly increases the chances of successful clipper activity.

This is nothing new, because even before such programs had the function of generating a coin address as similar as possible to deceive those who check only the beginning or end of the address. I always check the coin address using the hardware wallet, and for each larger amount I do it several times before I click on the final send button.

Many incident happen already about it and most provably many are aware about this type of malware so we really need to check if not once twice or even trice the wallet address we use before making the transaction done to avoid any loss by such horrific creation by rascals.

We need to be vigilant for all the time and always check the installed software so that we will not possibly get the bad ones which can cause harm to us.
1671  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1x฿it.com - Most Competitive Sports฿ook & Casino | ฿est Odds & Wagering Options on: November 09, 2022, 10:11:36 AM
1XBIT IS A SCAM BOOKIE

They took the money that I had in my account.
From one day to the next, and for no reason, my withdrawals have been restricted. I had 1400€ inside, I contacted by chat and email, and suddenly they tell me that I have violated the terms and conditions (w.t.f!? Of course I didn't violate anything, I was just betting normally and obviously winning,
You don't need to violate any rules for your funds to be confiscated in 1xbit casino, because i wonder what the hell will you be doing with a casino like this, despite all the numerous scam accusations this casino has ever recorded and you still went further to gamble here. I am very sorry my friend, because your money is already gone for good. Because this is what happens to people who fail to do research about a casino before depositing that just happened to you. So next time, endeavour to always DYOR
Not all  who posted in this thread are Bitcointalk members  , meaning some of them are from outside that has no complete Idea what kind of site is this , until they become a victim of this scam company .

1xbit had  been advertising all over the internet and not just here in Bitcointalk so there will be more to come here , though we are all lucky for not becoming a victim because we are aware of how this works.

They are been well marketed by some paid reviewing site or maybe other more platforms which doesn't review the reputation of this casino so most provably after those people get scam they came here and posted the claims about what they experience when they bet on this casino.

Its not surprising to see more victims will come here since most provably the costumers of 1xbit came from outside of this forum since no experience users will go since their reputation is so bad here.
1672  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Get Bitcoin Holdings for your child from infant. on: November 08, 2022, 01:01:47 PM
One of good ideas to be have but the question here is can you take all the happenings on bitcoin and can you handle the market stress brought up by bitcoin since we would never know on when the price of bitcoin would reach at ATH and maybe by the time your child reach at the right age the price of bitcoin will dump since there's what we call bearish trend so I guess even though you intend your holding for your child do also a smart move to multiply it since not selling on multiple ATH happen will cost a lot of minus profit to you and him/her.
1673  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: This is why it's not a good idea to leave your coins on any exchange on: November 08, 2022, 11:32:15 AM
It should be a practice that don't leave most of your funds if you're not going to use them on exchanges. There are certain reasons why people are leaving their funds there and one of it as you've mentioned is about trust.

Maybe total of 5% of your funds should be put on exchange then other than that should be stored on your hardware wallet since this could make us more safety from any hacking incidents compare if we choose to put all or funds on exchange where attacks might possible occur to them. To many reasons why not leave your funds on any of them even if how trusted they are and for us not to get any problems regarding on internal or external issues happening on exchange we should avoid to trust them 100% of our money.
1674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can roullete be rigged? on: November 08, 2022, 09:37:59 AM
This why i lose 2 days in a row thiefs. New casino iwas in

You are right to blame something external rather than yourself.

Was that the revenge you were talking about yesterday?

Lost 270 dollar in roullete plan on revenge

It looks like you didn't get your revenge very well, but you're right, it's not your fault. Maybe the roulette wheel is rigged or something.

Yes it was rigged in casini near my house i hit all the time..

The solution is to get out fast from one casino if you see too many loses and go to casino you won.

Anyway i feel like thr casino is rigged or cursed cuase i am a lucky guy this shit not happen to me

Maybe you are just expecting to much then didn't quit immediately once you are on winning side and then bad luck came then you lose all your money. This happen always especially when you became greedy and want to earn more money since you are not contended on what you are receiving at that time.

Maybe next time best solution to gain from roullete is to quit immediately and comeback tommorrow or the other day since if you came back in an hour or the same day you might lose all your money.
1675  Economy / Economics / Re: Will you further your degree from school, or learn a new skill after college? on: November 06, 2022, 12:45:06 PM
What will be your advice to two friends who have just finished from college, one is considering furthering her education in the degree she has gotten from college, the other says she has learnt enough from school and rather than looking to further her education in the degree she has gotten from school, she is considering learning a good skill that she considers will be highly sort after. If it will cost roughly the same amount of money for the both of them to go with what they like and both choices are prospective, who would you advice to reconsider, and who would you encourage to continue?

Tell your friends that never explore risky things if you are not sure about your future, use your degree first to get a job which can give you a convenient life then after you get enough savings then you could choose to learn new skill and test out what new things you learned if this will work for you because if you succeed on it then this will give you a huge success to get out on stressful 9-5 jobs. But if you fail you still have safety net since your job will help you not to get broke.
1676  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: November 06, 2022, 10:45:03 AM
I personally think that it is a must especially if it involves money. It's a pre-cautionary protection that we should be attentive. I've avoided few incidents of potential hacking because of this IP blocking. I don't remember the name of that exchange but it blocked the hacker from withdrawing anything from my account because according to the email, The log in was suspicious and the IP address is new to the account, I was saved by a notification from my phone. I believe that all of casino should have a feature like this, I know a tedious task for a casino to put a security like this but I think it is a must.
Blocking IP is a good practice. If anyone hacks any of your financial accounts either any exchange account or gambling account where you have funds. Hackers can get access your account by hacking but they would not be able to hack your IP so, if they block withdrawing funds from that new IP then your fund can remain safe.
But it would really be a hassle on users side when you do tend to make out withdrawals specially when you are in transit which it do basically you cant make out withdrawals unless you are in your home or the router
which that certain IP is tied up on such account. Its indeed a good security feature but there are some con's into it but in overall it would really be a good one and should be considered.
I have tested out this kind of thing on discord which it do ask out for some verification if your account is logged in into a different IP or connection which
it is hassle but when it comes to security its a sure thing.

Not convenient if you are always away from your home so for sure you will find hassle to transact things on your account but its somehow addition on security measure if this one will be implemented since no one can withdraw your funds unless you are at your home and use the tied up IP on your account. But I don't think this one will be is also a good option since there are so many users who frequently not at home so doing transactions will really be hassle to them. But if Roobet will do a poll towards this and see the people sentiments on this possible implementation then they might read what people thoughts about this discussion.
Correct, adding out a feature and implementing it should really be asked out if this one would be preferred or they would rather stick out on the traditional way of withdrawing without having those IP restriction.

Its true that it wont really be that convenient since you cant really make any withdraw if you are out of your own home since IP would be different but just as said that security is much more tighter with this.
Asking the community would really be a good idea because implementing it directly might really be ending up on lots of bashes and complaints because not all would really be that confident on having this.

Ideas should be voted out by the community since this kind of feature might create conflict of interest on each user since this might create dislikes to others who doesn't want to make their life more hassle, so maybe if many users would agree on this feature to be added then this is the time roobet should think about adding it. But it will be a hell of inconvenience since imagine you are out for vacation and you cannot withdraw your funds anytime you want.
1677  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 🖤 on: November 05, 2022, 11:07:50 PM

I wonder whether the ETH price prediction has been stopped? or maybe Karl is too busy so he forgot to post this one ?

I believe the ETH predictions is just a trial run since it's not available on the Bitcasino website by the time that promotion runs here. Bitcasino really loves Bitcointalk user for giving us an exclusive tournament without any wagering requirementa needed unlike in the casino that needs 10mbtc to get 1 vote.  Cheesy

Maybe they will introduced again another tournament but this time they will use different token since they really like experimenting to spice up the tournament. Karl never forget.  Cheesy

Maybe they just see the difference between if there's a ETH prediction and there is not and maybe they have now complete assessment to the situation then open the ETH prediction contest again since it will add additional fun since this will open different discussion towards what certain prediction on other alts aside from bitcoin.

OP if you really inspired for the merits you receive from henry 2 years ago you should pursue to give quality contribution here. Since it looks like you just forget about it and maybe other things motivate you then you just want to receive merit for creating stories like this.

If you want to pursue what you want here better learn how you can contribute to the community so that you can rank up and make those people who believe you proud for what you achieve here.
1679  Economy / Economics / Re: Can A Redesign of A Countries Currency Note Improve Its Economy? on: November 04, 2022, 10:26:34 PM
I too believe there would have been a better way to address the insecurity Issue the country is facing and deal with the corrupt politicians instead of spending money that the country doesn't have on redesigning and printing new currencies which would have been used for other very important areas of the economy like the flood issue the country is currently facing.

They choose that one because it is easier to implement and easier to loot money for the development and production of that new note.  The government should focus on how to improve their GDP.
A corrupt government will always find a way to get easy money and printing a new design money might be one of the best option for them.
I'm also wondering why there's a need to redesign the currency where in fact it doesn't change the value of it.

If they really want to make their currency more powerful it's better for them to focus on important matter on how to deal with their economic problem. In my country, we printed a lot of new money almost every new president they redesign it but look at our currency right now, it is still weak.

On brighter side it creates demand since there are investors who want to see good design on some notes and might their action can gather attention from global investors. On darkest side maybe those corrupt politician just use this alibi for them to get more money from government funds.

But nothing happen unto this plan even how good the beautification they do if their official is corrupt since for sure there's no investor will spend their investment on a country if they know that they cannot get huge benefits especially if their officials are so greedy on money.
1680  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Duelbits] SCAM Withdrawal Issue on: November 04, 2022, 12:11:31 PM
Some would say that you were lucky, others that you were too lucky, and I would say that you shouldn't be surprised at all that they paused your withdrawal. I find it a bit suspicious that you made a withdrawal after each win, and that you then made a deposit again, which in combination with the fact that you made a profit of even $10k must have activated some kind of security mechanism. I guess it didn't help that your deposits and withdrawals are in different coins, which in combination with everything else doesn't look very legitimate.

I must mention that this is only my opinion, and that I have no connection with that company, nor can my opinion affect the outcome of this case.
Hello Alexi, we received your Query and we will be able to help you recover your $16,000 back, send in your phone number and email address to enable us assist you
