what is red 4 digit crypto stamp really worth/marketrate??im at the verge of making a deal on the 4 digit red but the price seems to be exorbitant..since its a stamp, i hope the mainstream stamp crowd will join the stampede of cryptostamp collectors and making it valuable in future!opinions with reasons welcome
I once got an offer for around ~7.6k USD (red 4-digit). Maybe it's worth for some... But I was like... Ah no, not today. Then again, I believe a 4-digit full set might be worth above $10k in the long run. Maybe... What I like about the 5 and 4 digit sets is the fact, that it's a rare trait which is directly visible on the stamp, without scanning or using any 3rd party tools etc.

Very good question. These new boxes do indeed look different. They were used for the first time for the MEC coin series. The boxes are white-metal (if I am not mistaken) with a unique 3d-printed inlay to contain the chips. Since all boxes are sealed I don't have one at hand right now to make photos, but will definitly post some within the next few days.
Interesting, thank you for the explanation, looking forward to seeing some pics but if it holds any of the standard that the old ones did, it'll be amazing ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) . Here are pictures of the new box: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2F6xdILAJ.jpg&t=664&c=jlAz5tGUpXBW5Q) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FrKhobNK.jpg&t=664&c=wAHysJFEdCPYrQ)

1TEN? Pretty sweet one. I'd say 4-digit blue requires 4-digit $, but that's my guesstimate.
That would be 1 whole btc at the moment? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) I doubt anyone would pay as much as 1 BTC. Something between $1k and $2.5k seems legit when looking at ebay prices and the extreme rareness of these stamps.

Got any pics of the new boxes? IIRC the old boxes contained 25 chips/box but these hold 20, so is it the same box just with less chips in it or a new one? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Very good question. Love the idea. Just been really busy lately and thus not commented here. Here is some basic input: To me, Bitcoin is a fundamentally disruptive technology and therefore thriving with potential and energy. -> I love to express this in my art usually with lightning bolts, laserbeams, fireblazes, plasmabursts etc. surrounding the logo. Another general idea: Bitcoin will impact so many different aspects of the modern society / life, so showing this connectedness is always on my mind when creating Bitcoin art.
Really looking forward to see whatt this experiment will lead up to. Keep up the great work, 1Dq.

Just to note that we can't publish TXIDs of customer payments as that would seriously violate the privacy of our customers. And we are pretty strict on privacy issues at Denarium.
Privacy on a public blockchain? you're kidding right? Unless you are using something like Monero or other included privacy currency, it's all public........ Besides, most sales here on the forum have public addresses directly in the auction / sales thread.

Unless Krogoth moved to Ukraine it sure wasn't him.
Well, blue 4.digits seem to go for around 1.5 - 2k, so 8k for red isn't that suprising, is it?

Hello everyone,
Some of you might have noticed the success of the austrian crypto stamp based on Ethereum. I really liked it, but I have to admit, I still would love to see a stamp based on BTC. Maybe some of you see it like me.
Well, I assume the Austrian Post decided to take ETH because the transaction fees are cheaper and maybe it is easier to set up so many wallet adresses, etc...
I will have a meeting with the Vice-president of the Austrian Post and want to convince him to create a BTC stamp, but I would have some questions to you.
What would be the fastest and easiest way to create 1000-100K BTC wallet adresses?
Is there an option to get cheaper TX fees by using the lightning network?
What are your thoughts and opinions???
THANKS to everyone who contributes here and have a good time!
Yes, Bitcoin stamp would be nice, definitly. Two thoughts: - If it's an "official release" by the Austrian post, a connection to the first (ETH based) crypto stamp would be important. Different colours for different addresses would still be possible with BTC. See: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Colored_CoinsSo I think having the same collectible aspect on the next version of the crypto stamp would help both, the first crypto stamp as well as the 2nd one, because it creates continuity and extra collector's value. - Due to the success of the first crypto stamp, the Austrian post may feel inclined to create an even larger amount with a 2nd generation stamp. However I believe this would be adverse in the long run (for future crypto stamp generations), as 150k was already *a lot* and an attempt to create even more would easily be construed as a quick money grab and be hurtful to the Austrian Post's public image, especially for future products.

Only 1500 of these were produced.
Thanks for the information ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Only 1500 sheets I think that in the future they will add value to the set of stamps. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) I think that having the 5 stamps and 1 sheet of these is the complete set I have 20 units and I sell 10 units. I keep the other 10 sheets for my stamps. Agreed it's quite rare (actually as rare as a red stamp) and should not be missed in a full collection. Good luck with your sales.
