I use ICO rating site just as a side opinion, I also do my own research. Gather information about projects from different sites, from different people.
i am more satisfied if using my own research.although some time i use ico site review as comparation.but i am prefer to make own research how to find good projects. |

I have the experience invested in ICO before, if you have the project when to invest, you must reading their whitepaper, team member, roadmap, and anything you can find it, there are many scam ICO everyday, there are half is the scam project, and half is the real project, so you need to analyse which is the scam before you want to invest it.

They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.
With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?
I will never trust what anyone else says to me about a coin, when you realize the power of money and the fact that everyone has a price that is when you start to learn to do things yourself instead of listening to what other people have to say and investing your money accordingly. the only research i trust in this market is the one I did myself. that's right dude, we need to trust ourself research.and our observation in market and analizing ico could make us be profesional investor in crypto market. |

Many community members have been claiming lately that altcoins are going to die or at least that 90% of altcoins are doomed. I tend to agree with them that there are many coins and tokens that are pointless and won't survive. Another cathegory are alts with solid foundations but won't manage to fight with their competitors as naturally there are numerous projects with same visions. But if you trust the project you invested in, there is no reason to change your mind just because someone says many altcoins won't succeed. Do your research and trust only your own judgement, because many ALTCOINS ARE HERE TO STAY!
Of course, those projects that will not develop and follow their plans will disappear, but 90% of all altcoins are too much, I think. The total number of coins (projects) will be constantly subject to correction, and new projects will appear and the old ones that will not compete will disappear. natural law will apply in crypto market. coins that do not have good potential and function will be left by their investors. now investors are becoming smarter after there are many ico who are scam. |

Both btc and altcoin are good for invest. There is nothing to say about btc but to choose altcoin take some necessary precaution. try to invest in promising coins.
If ypi don't have enough knowledge about other coin or if you are not sure it's better to invest your money in bitcoin and in eth, because bitcoin proved us what it can reached and we know that bitcoin will recover soon just wait and hold. or maybe we better to save our money in the bank.doesnt have any knowledge or information in crypto make us blind, and its risky to our money.never put our money in any place that we dont know about this. |

In my country crypto is still prohibited from making transactions, so I only use crypto as an investment and trading place. So far crypto is quite useful for my daily needs.
for today , it does not matter bitcoin still prohibited for any transaction.it just about time bitcoin and other cryptocurrency can be implemented in any field. |

I would highly recommend avoiding alt-coins. And it would not spread the risk to buy multiple alts since they are all based on the same technology. Want to diversify? Buy some bitcoin, gold, real estate, stocks, etc.
Yes. I second that. You don't need to put all of the money into crypto. But if you feel that you absolutely must, you should keep it all in bitcoin. And if you feel that you absolutely must, you shouldn't put more than 10% of that into altcoins, preferably the top 10. But even that is pushing your luck because they have a lot of vulnerabilities. Crypto is not the only solution for investments. Other more conventional forms have their merits as well. Nothing wrong with branching out a bit. Great advice. I'm into the gold, real estate and silver game already. I have diversified my Bitcoin into Altcoins since we dipped under 200 billion. I know this is possibly foolish and risky but you gotta take your shot at some point. diversify our portofolio into several place can be best step for us.we can make our money growth and avoid the risk involved on it.cryptocurrency is good place for long term periode, at least untill bitcoin halving. |

It can go to about $5000 and then recover. However, I do not agree that it is dead or is going to collapse anytime soon.

maybe. every online wallet has a security gap. if the wallet is not maintained, it will be easily hacked. so, it's good if you know that. how safe is the online wallet that you use

setting aside 20% of income for emergency funds, I better save in savings or time deposits, because for me the investment funds and emergency funds are different, emergency funds are better kept so that if needed at any time can be used, too risky if the emergency funds are used to innovate in crypto

Like the title says, i almost lost my regular job as a software developer today when my boss reviewed my work. The job has been able to economically provide a comfortable life for me and losing it would really be a big hit to my income. I almost lost it because i spent so much time learning about everything crypto (mining, trading, bounties, etc.).
Has anyone else experienced this? I just feel pretty lucky I was given another chance and want to remind other people that having a regular job is much better than relying on the volatility of cryptocurrencies. Make sure you prioritize your work!
for me cryptocurrency is to find extra money, not for my permanent job. because crypto has a high level of risk. It was true that cryptocurrency has a high level of risk but it was very profitable and that is also the reason why you should invest just a good amount and always have a back up in order to get something when crypto market fails. high risk high gain,so do with cryptocurrency it contains very high risk we do not understand.but if we know how to be good trader, maybe it is not. |

For me, I'll just do nothing and will stop buying bitcoin and other cryptos then hold the rest of my tokens left in my wallet. I will do more bounty hunting and if it is a success the rewards I get from bounties will be added in my wallet and wait for the right time to buy for a better reward.
so the summary is we should holding our asset in current market.this is harmed us if we sell our asset, even that come from bounty reward.selling in better market make us asset value increase. |

Oil prices are related to crypto prices? if it yes it would affect too much because the price of oil are depending to its supplies and the prices of crypto are depending on its investors so if the price of oil in any country are going up the investors will dump their investments and crypto will dump its prices too because many investors are using oil and it will goes up their invested will affected.
that is not good reason, and i think no correlation between it.it is hard to analize correlation oil and bitcoin price.need intermarket analisys to find the answer. |

I am not too sure of this possibility of bitcoin getting to $50k this year. but if it does happen, it will be good for all of us in the crypto community. Maybe we can pray for this to materialize.
