A Signature Campaign in Bitcointalk is a kind of advertising strategy used by companies. Because most of the bitcoin users hang-out around this forum, companies have sought a way to use the members to advertise their services and products by means of attaching their advertisement in the signature area.

There are some gambling sites that are newb-friendly. They also give bonuses to new users and give good rewards to their loyal peers. Go look up in the Gambling Section. There are lot of sites that post there to inform their peers of certain bonuses and incentives they give. You might also find effective gambling strategies in there. Good luck mate. Don't let greed eat up your mind. Gambling is very risky, so you should think many times before diving deep into it.

Afaik, there is an application that lets users get their desired custom addresses. It's fine to let someone make a custom address for you, as long as you know that person really well. And, also, for your own safety, use that custom address to store only low amounts of btc just in case shit happens.

Everyone is in need of money, nothing new ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Yes you can be paid Sr rate. If we continue there will be a rule saying, you have to let me know about your rank change at least a week before your payment. (Until now I've been granting this to everyone who messaged me day before their payment). Anyway, we are always ruling in your favour here ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Another thing is that you don't have to pm me or post in the thread to get paid. I'm sending money up to 24 h past your deadline. Still don't know if the campaign will continue in November. Thanks for the response. ^_^

Yup! There is this software called VanityGen to create a customized address. Haven't tried that yet, but I never saw a negative feedback about that. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

This e-Peso thing might be another way of politicians to hide their ill-gotten wealth. Seeing that tracing an account and linking it to a person is a daunting task in itself, these dudes may use it to their advantage. Hmm, politics, how I hate thee.

As far as my understanding about revenues from ads goes, the more traffic the site has, the bigger the revenue it may create. May I know of a definite plan that you have there in order to achieve such a revenue? How does this work? Kindly explain in detail, please. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

It depends on your needs. If you want to get your btc safe and secure (usually with big amounts), consider using offline wallets. But if you only need the coins for spending (usually with small amounts), consider using online wallets for faster moving of coins.

Wow! What an insane offer! Not-so-pro tip: If you want to sell a luxurious property, try finding some peers from the wealthy. Have you tried posting some ads on the internet? Also, try targeting the rich's weakness (most of them are tend to be attracted on things that has a high value) and explain in complete detail about the pros and cons when they buy that. Real estate is a good investment imo, because as the world gets more populated, the value of space tend to increase. Good luck in finding a buyer! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Didn't know exit node can comprise a user identity.
Is this exploit being used by government also?
Yes [1] and Tor is aware of it [2]. tl;dr: Tor is used by private individuals who want to conceal their online activity, human rights activists in oppressive regimes such as China and Iran, journalists who want to protect their sources, and even by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency in their efforts to infiltrate criminal groups without revealing their identity. The Tor Project is a non-profit charity based in Massachusetts and is primarily funded by government agencies. Thus it is ironic that the Tor Network has become such a high-priority target in the NSA's worldwide surveillance system.
[1] dont worry its in english even though its a german domain http://daserste.ndr.de/panorama/aktuell/NSA-targets-the-privacy-conscious,nsa230.html[2] https://blog.torproject.org/blog/being-targeted-nsaEdit: that FBI operation "torpedo" link I didnt find earlier: www.wired.com/2014/08/operation_torpedo/Really noob question: If Tor users are aware that the Tor network is always under surveillance by the government, how come most of the dark activities concealed by this not-so-hidden-network at all? Sorry i don't understand much about the Tor's concept. Thanks for the information about the mismatch of Tor and the blockchain. Never knew that using the Tor network may steal my coins.

What they're trying to convey is that human activities greatly affects the rate of the cyclical change of the Earth's climate. CO2 may be beneficial to all living things, yes, but doesn't CO2 contributes to the Greenhouse Effect? If more and more CO2 are trapped in our atmosphere, the possibility is that the temperature of the planet may increase and result to a much faster ice meltdown, which may cause the ocean level to rise (not that much, though).

If ever the blockchain is deleted simultaneously (which is very unlikely to happen), there will be no bitcoin, of course. But if someone ever backed up a copy of the chain, we can use that as our main chain in order to continue the blockchain.
It may be very improbable, but there's always a possibility (like some very tragic or catastrophic event) for things like this to happen.

What are you trying to achieve in here? Most of the time, no one knows who owns what in the bitcoin ecosystem. The bitcoin concept is designed to be anonymous, which makes it difficult in your part to know who owns that address.

Never will they pay their debts. Even if they pay or not, nothing will ever happen to them because the world's reserve currency is still in USD. Unless that change..

Now is a good time to buy btc if you want some profit for a short period of time. If you're asking for holding for long, I suggest you buy little by little and spend what you can afford to lose. It's always the user who has the responsibility on what will happen to his money. The markets are never responsible to what is invested on them, so be careful.
|
|
|
The bitcoin wealth distribution is very uneven. A user who holds tens of thousands of btc who sells most of his/her holdings may likely drive the price down, which is not good for those die-hard bitcoin holders out there.

Micro transactions do confirm even without a fee, but usually within a couple of days or even weeks (and sometimes they don't). Miners usually don't 'prioritize' transactions that doesn't include a tx fee. You have to wait until that transaction confirms, or it may not confirm at all.
