What are the current forex rates? You guys said a few weeks ago they would be lowered by 2% or so. It still looks like 190% for 30 mins or greater? Is that correct or it wasn't changed on the website?

16703  Economy / Gambling / Re: Challenge: What's the best way to win 1 BTC with 1 BTC? on: December 14, 2015, 09:27:09 PM
If you are an experienced trader, you could win 1 btc with 1 btc for sure, specially with altcoins in the past, now I think BTC only trade is more solid.

Yes. Now a days only btcoin gets more volume compared to any other alt coins. But trading in bitcoin with a predetermined target of 1 bitcoin might not be good idea as the target set will make you over trade and result in unwanted things. Wait for good opportunity and trade only on those.

Unfortunatly altcoins are in the mud today, it was really a good chance to win some BTC in the exchange in the past, also Bitcoin's future is uncertain.

No its hard making money with altcoins, its easier if you can find one that you can short because most Altcoins go down to 1 satoshi. Look at NMC or DRK even, never gaining any actual value ever.
16704  Economy / Gambling / Re: To Hit or Not to Hit -BlackJack! on: December 14, 2015, 12:10:46 AM
You can't play Blackjack the same way you play it online in a casino. The way the odds are stacked are slightly different. You actually have better odds at the casino.

16707  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 13, 2015, 10:08:18 PM
Another short opportunity is coming up soon.

Alot of resistance in the $475-$500 area makes this a good risk reward.

16709  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Avalon 6 Vs Antminer S7, which one you will choose? on: December 13, 2015, 07:42:32 PM
Both look very good. But getting used to bitmain makes me go to choose the antminer s7. But i would like to try the avalon too. Both asics are priced ok, in perception of the current bitcoin price. So yes it is a nice invemestment.

The downfall offcourse is the difficulty which is sky rocketing.. Best to wait for the next gen. miners.

Touche, the current miners won't earn enough to get a decent ROI. The difficulty is just increasing too much which makes the current batch of miners not profitable.
I think bitmain will launch a new miner around feb/march. Till then keep your bitcoins as bitcoins, as in don't spend them on these asics.
2) As mentioned in the main S7 thread, BITMAIN is now charging 3.1 BTC for a batch 8 S7. Very curious language used in the description: "4.73th/s is the final version of S7 which is more stable."

I think it means what it says, which I interpret as. After much messing about they have finally settled on the 135 Chip System, 15 Node string and I am still assuming a Buck Converter such that they are not dependant on such a tight spec for the PSU? Whether they have been selecting BM1385 or not and if that is in any way a factor going forward I do not know?

Rich

That price sound more reasonable, still would not be a sufficient enough decrease, if the difficulty keep climbing like this.

Also i don't suppose having a buck converter would mean working software side volt control?
I'm looking into lee's latest group buy of $1150 for the last batch S7 (4.73 Th/s), but it launching Jan 27th, 2016 has me a little worried what the difficulty will do by then.

So basically, a Smart strategy;

Step one is "Wait 1-2 Months for difficulty to stabilize". Step two is "Buy the S7's Americans and CIE when they panic sell because they can no longer ROI before halving. At half price, of course."

He's right. Right now is the best time to sell miners since the price is increasing, Bitcoin is making the news, everybody wants to print money.

The best time to buy is when difficulty is taking 25% jumps every 2 weeks and price is crashing and everybody is panicking. I got some good deals on miners this way.

16711  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 1 Antminer S7 [Australia] on: December 13, 2015, 12:32:19 AM
So, I've been struggling to decide weather I should sell this or not & I guess I really need the money for the school fees this year.

It comes with a PSU & I'm selling this for $400 PayPal or Bitcoin.

Message me if you'd like to buy this.
NOTE: You cover half the shipping costs & I cover the other half.

last time i checked australians didnt have school fee's - scammer.

Really no tuition fees? That must be nice.

16713  Bitcoin / Hardware / Corsair CX750W - Whats the max watts per PCIe connector ? on: December 12, 2015, 11:11:04 PM
I got some older miners I want to overclock a little since miners are more profitable now then before. Just wondering what is the safest wattage per PCIe connector? I am using them on older KNC Jupiters.

I know that with an SP20, which uses 1200Watts you can pull 400Watts each and not have the connectors melt. But with some KNC Neptunes running 400Watts melts the connectors.

I know that 150Watts is save due to GPU standards so with efficiency about 175Watts from the wall is safe. What about 250Watts from the wall? 300 Watts ?

16715  Economy / Gambling / Re: [POLL] Best Dice of 2015 on: December 12, 2015, 10:04:43 PM
The best dice site in my opinion is FortuneJack,

They have the best servers and lowest lag and have the most promotions compared to other sites.

Plus they have hundreds of other casino games if you get bored of Dice.

Yes, then I ship to the escrow, you give him the money, he gets it, sends to you, you receive it, he releases money or however the hell escrow with this works here

Escrow doesn't work like that.

He sends money to escrow, you ship to him, he receives and tells escrow to send to you.
16718  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Overvolting on: December 11, 2015, 08:41:03 AM
Oh, really? So then the software voltage setting in the interface is more just for looks then and not to actually overvolt?

Yeah it doesn't do anything, but setting the clock works.
16719  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Overvolting on: December 11, 2015, 08:37:26 AM
I overvolted my S3+ for a while and they ran at almost 600Gh/s but I changed it back because I felt like they were going to melt or explode.

You need to take the miner apart and mod each resistor to overvolt. Alot of work.

Turkey shipping fee 19 eur is this true ? If true, I bid now..

it will take time but i have found a worlwide delivery service but that take a lot of time and has no tracking . he is cheaper than all the others .

otherwise for a worlwide shipping to turkey with track&trace and 1 week to delivery max it's arround 34€ / unit...

and the third possibility is a bulk shipping for max 20 Kg for 44 EUR so 4 or 5 miners ...

You are taking a HUGE risk by selling on eBay right now.

Right now is the best time to sell miners and probably has the highest rate of being scammed.

Since price of BTC is rising there is a lot of demand, but if the difficulty keeps rising, your buyer has 45 days to send back your S5 and get a FULL REFUND including the shipping both ways.

Since you actually posted these miners on eBay you don't seem like a scammer but you really are better off just selling on here with ESCROW.

As i saifd i will scam no one , but on the ebay my GF has setted that we don't accept the object in return for refund as it is item of second hand. i would just notice to the ebay's buyers that i can take an insurance in theyr name if the package was damaged during the travel to the destination . it's arround 5.50€ for 250€ of value and 9.99 for rotection to 500€ .

i will notice to the buyers by message on ebay or ask her to modify the decription .

but as i've been scammed for some goods , even using escrow, i'm not realy friendly with this trade way ... if i have smallest value goods to sell i'll try here a first time and we will see , i have 2 Usb key miners , maybe begin the escrow experience with them ...

You don't understand how eBay works now.

It doesn't matter if you put " NO REFUNDS" the buyer can send it back and get full refund saying its "NOT AS DESCRIBED".

Do some Googling if you don't believe me. Don't sell miners on eBay.
