16721  Other / Politics & Society / Re: do you think that corruption can be deleted totally in your country? on: December 13, 2017, 02:53:34 AM
For me its a big No. Because even the smallest government agencies are still have employees which are corrupts. So even the higher positions in the government still have some corrupt. Just saying

How can you be sure? In normal cases, at the most 5% or 10% of the employees may be corrupt. But still the vast majority may be against corruption. What we need to do is that we need to terminate the corrupt ones after identifying them and then redistribute their salaries among the honest ones.
16722  Other / Politics & Society / Re: OBAMA was the best President in the world on: December 13, 2017, 02:01:25 AM
Obama were a great hope. And I wanted to win 2008 John Mcain what happened to. After 8 years, however, there has been little change. Wars are not interrrupted, the nuclear weapons have not been reduced, and they also startet problems with Russia. Obama remains a great disappointment  for me and I'll only remember him as the first non-white president of the USA .

He was elected solely because of his race, and that was the reason why he was such a disappointment. He didn't had any other qualities. Other candidates such as Hillary had decades of political experience, but Obama had only a few years of mainstream political experience behind him. And his performance as the senator of Illinois was also disappointing.
16723  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Main Cause of accidents/road safety on: December 13, 2017, 01:58:00 AM
Here in our country the main cause of car accident is drunk driving and also using cellphone while driving.the other reason is fast driving. Before we drive do not drink alcohol for safety ,check the condition of your car and maybe check yourself.

In my country also, that is one of the primary reasons. And in addition to that the people in general don't obey or follow the traffic rules and they think that it is "macho" to break the law. On top of all this, the penalties are not very strict and people can easily get off for even major traffic violations and accidents by bribing the policemen.
16724  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: why bitcoin illegal in asia? on: December 12, 2017, 11:40:30 AM
I have only heard about it in the China but I don't know the reason why they banned it.

The China ban was expected. Chinese Yuan is one of the most manipulated currencies in the world and it gets devalued every month or so. That is the reason why the individuals there never store their wealth in CNY. Their options are limited. They can't purchase equities since they are very over-priced. Same situation with real estate as well. Bitcoin was one of the few available options.
16725  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin Legality in India on: December 12, 2017, 11:37:13 AM
Yes. :)Bitcoins are already legalized by the Indian government just few months ago and most of the Asian countries are started to legalizing bitcoins after India made bitcoin legal in their country. I am so happy. Smiley

Did you even bothered to read the previous posts in this forum? Bitcoin was never legal in India and from what I have heard that situation is not going to change in the medium-term. The authorities remain very hostile to the crypto-currency and they are not banning it outright because it can drive the crypto-usage underground.
16726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Mining vs Buying on: December 12, 2017, 11:34:26 AM
Mining is out of question, because the large scale miners have made it almost impossible for the small scale and medium scale miners to get their coins at a profit. And here in India, electricity is getting increasingly expensive and there are legal complexities associated with setting up large-scale Bitcoin mining farms.
16727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Bitcoin? on: December 12, 2017, 11:19:54 AM
We are holding our coins because the future prospects are so bright. BTC futures are getting listed in two of the major American exchanges, despite a lot of negative propaganda by the bankers such as Jamie Dimon. And next year, NASDAQ is going to list Bitcoin futures sometime in the second quarter. The number of users are increasing like crazy, and the media coverage is more or less positive.
16728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep buying? on: December 12, 2017, 11:17:08 AM
I am no longer purchasing or trading any crypto (the last time I did that was back in 2015). But that said, for the past 2 months I haven't sold any of my coins. My coin stash (both Bitcoins and alts) have slowly increased during the past few weeks as a result of earnings from signature campaigns and advertisement revenue.
16729  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to win Bitcoins with Signature Campaigns ??? on: December 12, 2017, 11:12:35 AM
First you need to carefully analyze which campaign is the best for you. It depends on your forum rank and your activity here. There are some campaigns which need a very low threshold of posts (such as 10 posts per week). Then there are some others, which pays more, but with a requirement of making 30 or 50 posts a week.
16730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What made you think that Bitcoin will reach $20,000 before the end 2017 on: December 12, 2017, 11:09:32 AM
There is a chance. It is already hovering around the $17K mark and another 18% rise is needed to reach the 20K mark. There will be a spike next week, when CME lists Bitcoin futures. But the real movement will come if a Bitcoin ETF wins approval from the SEC. From what I have heard, 2-3 different ETFs are about to file their applications, and this time the chances look much brighter.
16731  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Presidential elections in Russia on: December 12, 2017, 09:59:54 AM
Lets hope that Navalny will participate in elections. I think he's the only way to change political life in Russia.

Earlier this year, a court in the city of Kirov upheld his suspended sentence for "embezzlement". This may be used by his political opponents to prevent him from running. Anyway, he is actively campaigning in most of the major cities of Russia and he has set up a large number of campaign offices. However, the Central Election Commission recently stated that in all probability he may not be allowed to run.
16732  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are you in favor of same sex marriage? on: December 12, 2017, 09:48:44 AM
God also says rape and slavery is ok, you are in favor of those things too? The bible specifically has a manual for slavery and the quran is even worse.

Different religions have different views on these subjects. Even in Hinduism, there are certain castes which are treated equivalent to slaves. Similar rules exist in Shintoism as well (Burakumin). That is why I am in favor of eradicating religion all together. Overall, religion is having a negative influence on the society.
16733  Other / Archival / Re: China or the Muslims which is worse? on: December 12, 2017, 09:42:48 AM
If I have just these two choices and I need to select one, then definitely I would chose China. Because in Islamic nations, it is impossible to live with dignity if you are non-Muslim. The so called "infidels" are treated even worse than animals in most of these nations. China is not that good, but when compared to Saudi Arabia or Sudan it feels like heaven.
16734  Other / Politics & Society / Re: do you think that corruption can be deleted totally in your country? on: December 12, 2017, 09:20:48 AM
I think this is an impossible event, corruption is everywhere. Few people do not like money. Wink

Everyone want to earn money. But only a minority would like to earn money from wrong means. Also, if the punishment for corruption is harsh, then even this minority will think twice before accepting bribes from anyone. But please don't compare the zeal to earn money to greed. Both are different. The first is harmless, but the second one can hurt a lot of people.
16735  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will the electric car destroy the petrol car? on: December 12, 2017, 09:10:51 AM
Of course! The amount of oil is decreasing in the world, proceeding from this cost of gasoline is growing and will increase. The future of engineering, for Tesla!

Nope. The cost of producing crude oil is on the decline. Earlier, it was close to $60 per barrel to extract one barrel of shale oil in the United States. Now that figure has come down to somewhere between $30 and $40 per barrel. Even in countries such as Russia and Saudi Arabia, the overall production costs have gone down. This trend is likely to continue in the future as well.
16736  Other / Off-topic / Re: Philippines on: December 12, 2017, 09:00:06 AM
I have been to Thailand and I loved it.
Definitely adding Philippines to my to go to list.
After of course my investments pay off Tongue

Thailand is a beautiful country, and it is very friendly to the international tourists. The advantage with Thailand is that the crime rate is very low and the food/accommodation is very reasonably priced. And for Indians there is another advantage in the form of Visa-on-arrival. Philippines can also learn a lot from Thailand, on how to attract international tourists.
16737  Other / Politics & Society / Re: End of the World on: December 12, 2017, 08:54:23 AM
We need to stop listening to the scare stories about the end of the earth. The planet is going to remain as such, at least for the next 5 billion years, although I am not sure whether the human race will exist that long. Anyway, it will be better if the humans are gone, because we have done so much damage to the mother earth, in the form of pollution and deforestation.
16738  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Europe, you reap what you sow... on: December 12, 2017, 08:52:23 AM
It is difficult to feel any sympathy for the Europeans, after what they did. They just committed self-extermination by inviting all these violent immigrants from the middle-east. Within the next 20-30 years, the demographic composition will change. By 2050, Muslims are expected to constitute 20% of the German population. And god knows what will happen once that level is attained.
16739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as the currency of the future? on: December 11, 2017, 03:20:01 PM
that's right, bitcoin is designed to be an investment and payment. however, in order to be effective, there needs to be a system upgrade where transactions are often pending, in terms of heavy transactions and high fees. this problem needs to be addressed.

High transaction fees and the delay in confirmations are the most important reasons why people are less likely to use Bitcoin for their transactions. Earlier, there was hope in the form of SegWit2X, but infighting destroyed the SegWit2X plans. Now the hope is with Lightning network, but it's implementation has been postponed so many times.
16740  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $0,08 in July, 2010 and $17000 today!!! What was your first price? on: December 11, 2017, 03:11:48 PM
The first time I purchased my coins was some time in 2014. The price back then was around $700 per coin, but I paid around $100 as markup in Localbitcoins India. So it cost me around $800 per coin in average. But I incurred heavy losses when I sold some of my coins in 2015 and 2016, when the exchange rates were around $250 per coin.
