Maybe it's time to start marketing Bitcoin as THE WORLD CURRENCY.
PayPal, Amazon Coin and iMoney are not accepted or usable in MANY jurisdictions.
Bitcoin can be used in ANY jurisdiction that has internet - not so the others.
Bitcoin - the world currency.
Time to push the strengths of Bitcoin instead of constantly reacting to external developments.
ssshhhh. apple employees lurking this forum. they might want to come up with their btc like currency, complete with network and an assembly line of mac miners. edit: HOLY SHIT. what if that is what they're really after?? their own crypto mining network but for macs. jeeezzzuuusss. and i wonder how else can apple use all that computing power. |

Hopefully Apple will not muscle its way into the cryptocurrency arena. Who can fight Apple  They arn't. This isn't a true cryptocurrency, just a fancier version of AmazonCoin which is also not a crypto-currency either. They are just proprietary payment systems riding on the veneer of Bitcoin, which is both bogus and sad. The fact that Apple is both creating their own "currency" and denying Bitcoin apps is pretty telling that they just can't stand any format they don't have an iron grip on just like Sony. Prob is a lot of people won't understand the difference yup. and speculators and traders could care less what it is, as long as it makes them a lot of money. and you know how apple is. they always comeout with a superior product. |

my ripple address is in my signature. i sell my ripple immediately. average time it takes is ~6 hours, and up to a day depending on what has broken that day. like i said, we provide extreme liquidity and a trustworthy trade partner in exchange for a fee. it is quite simple. would it be more noble if we were hoarding it? i am just doing my part to crash ripple and get the scam-currency out of peoples hands. http://www.ripplescam.orgthen whats the problem with telling everyone they can use ripple to trade xrp? |

and what's the matter with both of you? this thread was made to educate the people about ripple as a whole, not just xrp.
we are giving them a choice to trade in ripple or with you guys. i dont have any problem if they choose to trade otc. but they should be informed first.
