so presumably we have to wait for a block to be mined before we move our bitcoins?

I would have thought so unless you have already moved it to an exchange that will support it and tbh that would be a stupid move

Looking at futures https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin-cash/ its currently down to $292 and every time i look its another $20 or more

Damn chinese miners, I wouldn't refuse to mine it too if it was asic resistant coin(would be nice feature guess).
So BCC not trading yet anywhere?

it doesn't exist yet so no. there are futures options on the chinese exchanges like okex and viabtc. i don't know how much possible relevance those prices will have when it's real.
I see thanks, will be watching for future of this coin.

So far its near its all time low even before it launched and will just keep dropping

Thanks for information. I was waiting for release specifically this wallet. I expect there is no critical bugs.

What is this all about?

https://www.virustotal.com/el/file/66fc16d1d9782f32d0f73bd5cd109a3a9b89003b2eb70daa18d4205235d7f40a/analysis/

the file was downloaded from http://www.electroncash.org

Yea windows wont let me install and chrome warns of being a virus not the best start lol
I cannot download on my chrome too, its blocking by chrome. Why is that? What should i do to install the wallet? That is just a false flag doesnt it?

I can decide to keep the file then windows stops it running and needs extra steps to say you want to run it

Since im only wanting to transfer my bcc to kraken after ive moved my btc to a another wallet seems a waste to download the entire blockchain although im 2 thirds done now

most hardforks I seen the newer coin crashes then people buy it back when it dumps then it recovers and the old coin crashes  Shocked right?

Its more of a copy than a fork in typical chinese style the abbreviation BCC is quite fitting really "Blind Carbon Copy"

do you guy think the value will remain as it is now for bcc, or will be dumped fast? i'm wondering if it's worth to take out the cold storage to claim all the bcc as a possible, or maybe not, always free money but if the value tank to 0.01 it's not worth the risk

Im waiting until after the fork and then transferring all my cold storage coins to another offline address then import the old priv key to transfer the BCC to an exchange then destroy the old address like it never existed.

What do you mean by destroying the old address? Once the address  and the transactions are is created in blockchain, it exists there for ever. What does it accomplish in anyway?

I know its history will be there I just mean destroy my copy of it along with the private key so it cannot be used again

Bitcoin price will not affected too much by this fork because only few supported on BCC. A 1:1 scale is insane for BTC. But thanks for the advice. It means that BCC is just like a dividend in other coin. And nothing to worry. Smiley

No nothing to worry about BTC may even see a huge gain from this due to the new buys from selling off the BCC/BCH

What is the problem with viabitcoin exchange?

ViaBTC are the reason for this scam coin existing and you dont trade with a scammer unless you wanna be ripped off

Bcash is an immature attemp to coup bitcoin. Thanks to UASF148, we forced their hand and they had no choice to split before they have more power.

Bitcoin Unlimited and any other proposals had their chance to split at any time but they preferred to stay with the original chain. After we activated segwit they just got super mad over that and they saw that bitcoin community will never follow retards like Ver/Wu/Wright so they had to split with the whatever support they got. (Paid shills mostly)

They even talk about activating LN can you believe it? A Core made code which they badmouthed so many months.

And this now;
https://mobile.twitter.com/rogerkver/status/891338448463736832

After all those time he was angry with the high fees, he is mad at cheap fees. There is no way that we could be able to reason with those people.

They are sociopaths with bipolar sauce on top.

No need to say, I will be dumping my shitcoins as soon as I can on a reputable exchange. (Not viabtc clearly)

They can have all the bcash coins they want. I don't want to be contaminated with this shit.

Im going to sell on kraken no way im doing it on ViaBTC either
1691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: July 30, 2017, 11:06:56 AM

why should someone buy a free coin for $ 100-400? Wink
I hope to get $ 10 if i can dump fast enough (but i guess there are larger btc-owners who will dump with automatic software much faster).

If I can get anything near $10 ill be happy lol im not going to try and dump straight away will give it a few days see if the price recovers even slightly after the initial dump but I dont want to wait too long after because I believe if it does recover slightly it will only be short lived.

Anyone investing in this now will be loosing so much money.

Ive already got new offline wallets prepared to transfer all my BTC to before I import my private key to claim the BCC/BCH then the old keys will be destroyed once I get my final payment from nicehash before I restart on a new wallet

I have strong evidence that Poloniex is going to support BCC VERY soon.

Should help make it easier to dump then

From what ive seen there are no believers bitcoin cash is just a scam from some mining company throwing a fit because things didn't go their way
