1681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to find best Airdrops? on: March 07, 2021, 09:33:31 PM
I really want to know about how i can get legit and good airdrops. There are too many scam projects and its really difficult to find legit project. I missed 1inch airdrop infact i did not find any announcement regarding this and suddenly last night i see a post about it. So i feel bad but cant do any thing.

There is no way actually to finds a good airdrop but I guess your just gonna need to have a lot of sources in different platform mostly friends as well in the cryptocurrency community to share airdrops news to you.

Some came from airdrop referrals and probably from different social media platforms like Twitter where they announce an airdrop.

But in the past months, I think the best airdrop that I've seen came from exchanges something like Uniswap and 1inch exchange that airdrop hundreds to thousands of dollars per person because of the coin value of their tokens. But in exchange with the airdrop, there were just some requirements that are needed to get airdrop like using the exchange something like 3 trade in the past month or something.
1682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the things to look for when buying Altcoin? on: March 07, 2021, 08:58:59 PM
Currently, if you want to buy any altcoin, it is very difficult. You can't choose an option quite easily. Also, the crypto market is currently volatile. In such circumstances if one wants to buy altcoin. So what should be the main focus?

There are already a lot of suggestions from other members here in the forum but here's my own method on how I verify tokens personally before investing in that token.

Probably the first thing that I check is coinmarketcap and search the token in if it is available on that website, if it's not available probably its too early to invest in that token, if its available check the market where that token is available if it is already listed is many exchanges or something if it doesn't list in probably around 5 exchange it's probably too early to buy the token.

Then check the token website, check the utility, is it a Defi token or something, check the website if it's legit, check the whitepaper. If everything checkout you could probably decide if your gonna buy it or not. I mean investing always has its risk.
1683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOGE - another scam coin? on: March 07, 2021, 08:03:57 PM
I mean I check it on Coinmarketcap and it listed as Rank #2322 in there not really a huge market cap coin, but it looks fine but it's kinda early maybe you could gamble some spare money in it.

Since the token is so much cheaper at this moment if it becomes successful in the future it might be a great profit, but I don't like the concept of copying the DOGE coin especially because of the Elon hype social media platforms.

It's starting in the Uniswap exchange you I think its a okay coin, but this coin is better than the DOGE coin since now it's defi compared to a DOGE coin that has no utility or probably just hype I would pick this one.
1684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How have you impact people with cryptocurrency knowledge on: March 07, 2021, 07:48:44 PM
I have always see people talking about advancement and recognition of bitcoin and cryptocurrency to all. But majority have done nothing to proclaim and encourage people to know about cryptocurrency.
Please in your own little ways what have you done to impact the knowledge of bitcoin and cryptocurrency to people.

It's kinda like a simple talk and then I shared how I know bitcoin or what is bitcoin and explain to them if you're able to buy bitcoin at an early stage where it only costs 100 dollars or something and then today its now 50k$.

Most of the people that I've shared this was just amazing of what bitcoin is, they are also amazed of people are able to become a millionaire or billionaire with just buying or investing in something that is just digital money that has no physical value or a physical asset like bitcoin.

They are willing to learn about bitcoin and easily hook up and become interested in my story especially when I shared my experience of how I get started and how I earn bitcoin in the past years. I mean it's a great talk/
1685  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much btc do you need to secure your future? on: March 07, 2021, 07:27:56 PM
Obviously this depends on where you are located.  Such as if you live in an expensive place in the US or Canada, then its a lot more than in other countries.  Also if you are young, middle age or older.

I always felt the number had to been minimum 10 if you asked me this years ago.  But now with news articles and videos saying btc true value is somewhere in the 300-400k range... well that 10 btc number certainly is a bit high.  I guess the number probably is minimum 5?  Then again you hear old videos where people say... just make sure you have just 1 bitcoin...as that is enough.  Thus if it goes to 1 million dollars... well that is a lot of money.  Even after taxes, that is a lot.   But when people say its half a million or a million, well then that number could drop to say 2 or even 3.

And i see many people on this forum talk about not having 1 btc and its their goal to get 1 btc.  Obviously back then, it was much easier with the low prices.  But now... anyone who wants 1 btc need to spend 25k... thats a ton of money for most people and most people don't even have that in their savings.  But for someone who is from the West... thus in the US or Canada... what number would you say that should be?  Of course it could be in a wealthy country in say Asia, Europe or Australia.  But you get my point.  I got to assume if you talking about 10 years down the road or more... it has to be minimum 5?  Or minimum 10?  Or is 10 a bit too high?

More than 10 bitcoin is already a big amount of money here in the Philippines, 10 bitcoin would be 24,549,998 million pesos. and it would be a big amount of money and probably would be more than enough to secure your future in the Philippines if you are not going to spend too much on luxurious things or something that is too expensive.

I mean you could easily just buy a 24million pesos house in the Philippines or you could just buy a probably 3million pesos house or something, but around 10 bitcoin is still great you could easily start businesses or invest again to gain much of a profit in the future.

So I think around 50 bitcoin would be the best bitcoin your gonna need to secure your future and at the same time live a luxurious life. Inflation is just like burning your money it just happened so fast.
1686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin mixers are only for criminals on: March 07, 2021, 07:08:22 PM
I kinda agree with this one since I don't really use crypto or bitcoin mixers probably I guess try some just for curiosity or something, I just can't see the importance of using this crypto mixer.

For me, you don't really need too much privacy that the crypto mixers provide since they can't really know your identity just able to see your transactions if they know your bitcoin address or something, but that was just my opinion because I not some kind of whale, maybe a lot of people are concerned because of the amount of bitcoin they are holding not necessarily because they are some like of criminals.

So it's like a 50/50 for me, maybe we cant see the use of this for now but maybe in the future, we can use this in something that would benefit us.

If you hit a jackpot in a casino and you want to hide your coins with a mixer service, then are you a criminal?

If you was an early miner and you want to hide your coins with a mixer service, then are you a criminal?

I don't think so... A lot of criminals use the mixing service to hide their coins, but not all the users from the mixers are criminals, you can be sure of that.

A good example, I think you have your point, I mean it's up to you if you want to hide your transactions.
1687  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Lost Relics - Isang Blockchain Game on: March 05, 2021, 10:19:37 PM

1688  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The World Without Bitcoin on: March 05, 2021, 08:54:35 PM
Have you ever thought what would the world be without Bitcoin? Imagine if the cryptocurrency was never invented and we'd still be living with Fiat (paper money and credit/debit cards). People would be subject to banks' desires without a chance for freedom. A cashless society would be only a dream, without innovations in the FinTech space. Gold would still be an option, but not everyone will be able to access it. The unbanked people will be forced to deal with banks in order to participate in the mainstream economy. A lot of challenges and hurdles would arise without a decentralized form of currency for the enjoyment of all.

What do you think the world will be today without Bitcoin? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley

Probably digital transactions would still increase but not in a cryptocurrency system or a decentralized system.

As technology rises there are already digital transactions, as I remember there are banks that already open digital transactions kinda like a normal bitcoin wallet but it was just digital numbers.

And probably Paypal would be a trend in a digital transaction, Also we don't really know if bitcoin would survive in the future, something could mess everything that could easily destroy bitcoin.
1689  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Lost Relics - Isang Blockchain Game on: March 05, 2021, 05:23:31 PM

1690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forget bounties and Airdrops on: March 04, 2021, 08:22:30 PM
The biggest money making slot in crypto space is to be

1. a developer
2. build crypto wallets for new projects
3. find bugs in the system of many new projects

yes some paid for security breaching and all that stuff, rendering professional services is the best way to make money in crypto space now

Yeah, kinda true blockchain developers or crypto-related developers are kinda trendy that have a high salary these days.

If you're an investor you know that investing in cryptocurrency easily makes you profit, as well as daily trading. A lot of people participate in bounties and it's a part of the projects that developers do, in order for the project to be a success it needed a lot of investors, to do that projects need to do bounties to promote their projects in order to get a lot of investors.

The same as airdrops projects do this in order to make their projects viral to other investors, not to mention some airdrops actually give a generous amount of airdrops.
1691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still a good time to invest or not on: March 04, 2021, 06:27:00 PM
Bitcoin and other altcoins are recovering fast after the correction since three days now, is this a good time to still buy few altcoins or this bullish trend is a hidden trap door to bear market?

There are always opportunities in the market or to invest, it's still a good time in my opinion since the market is down from the past ATH of 58k$ of bitcoin.

The altcoin market would also pump at the same time when the market price of the bitcoin pump and bitcoin market is still bullish from 44k$ back to around 50k$ already, prediction and analysis are also bullish.

I mean the market is unpredictable so you could maybe still wait for more correction and dumps, or find a low cap investment altcoin in the market that has potential in a long term.
1692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin needs more women. on: March 04, 2021, 05:15:43 PM
The world of investing has long been accused of being a male-dominated “old-boys club”. Women in this environment frequently complain that they are frozen out, treated badly or have to work harder than men to make good.

So you would have thought that the 21st century’s developing fetch scene might have leveled the playing field between the sexes. However, evidence suggests the rush to online finance platforms and investments has done nothing to boost equality.

Instead, the digitally driven world of artificial intelligence, Bitcoin and blockchain is as sexually unbalanced as the banking, property and commodity markets industries that preceded it. Tech industries are inherently male-dominated for reasons that include boys being introduced to gadgets at a younger age, leading to just 16% of computer science undergraduates being female.

Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies first became popular in the geekiest parts of the tech and finance industries, both male-dominated. The early word was spread mainly on Reedit and forums for discussing video games.

I think it doesn't necessarily need both men and women, at it doesn't really matter if there so many men and only a few women or a lot of women and only a few men.

I guess it just a matter when it comes to investment it is more likely men, I do some quick google search about this.

Quote
Men are more likely than women to be investors. One study found that women hold 71% of all their assets in cash, whereas men hold 60%. Cash can feel more secure, but it also decreases in value over time due to inflation and has limited growth potential

https://www.sofi.com/blog/women-investing-gender-wealth-gap-nobody-talks/

I think that explains everything but I guess yeah more women should invest more or know that investment is also a good thing in the long run.
1693  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I was invited to speak about Bitcoin to financial management college students on: March 03, 2021, 09:48:01 PM
It's been a while since my last speaking engagement in a Philippines-based university. That was before the pandemic began. I've been speaking to various universities and communities before to educate them about the basics of Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology, etc. I've missed doing that by the way, as the pandemic disallows face-to-face classes in the Philippines.

Recently, one of the students representing a well-known university in the Philippines reached out to me personally and was inviting me to become the guest speaker of their Financial Management class to educate them about the Bitcoin and blockchain basics.

It will be done virtually since travel restrictions are still imposed and I am still scared of traveling because I don't want to be quarantined. But yet, I am still privileged and excited to talk about Bitcoin to students again, but in a virtual setup. Feels good!

That's nice! I remember some guy also talks about blockchain technology in our school, and it was so complicated to understand everything about blockchain technology and they were encouraging us to be a blockchain developer. He told us that blockchain technology is a new technology that has a high potential in the future and you could earn a high salary being a developer.

It's nice to educate people about bitcoin or cryptocurrency and explain to them what is it or how it works, hopefully, it could be a subject too in the future,

I think its better to do seminars online, I've done a lot of seminars this pandemic because it's more like an online thing so it kinda like of less hassle for me instead of traveling.
1694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dont stay in crypto too long on: March 03, 2021, 07:39:53 PM
Crypto is ruled soon by sec and goverment its not goodw

Make your cash and get out of crypto
Pepple dont like regulated things fuck rules and regulations crypto is freedom if the goverment start fuck woth our bitcoins and crypto then its not good

We stay for using cash

I mean that's totally understandable for sure we know that we should have an exit strategy and a plan before investing our money and earn a good amount of profit.

Maybe that's the case in the altcoin market but I believed it is different in the bitcoin market and you could hold for a long-term investment when it comes to bitcoin and you can guarantee to make a profit in the future, because of the supply and demand in the market.

Of course, something could easily mess everything up that is why we know that the risky before investing in crypto and only invest the funds that we can afford to lose.
1695  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Bagong Crypto Trading Platform sa Pinas - BloomXapp on: March 03, 2021, 03:37:38 PM

1696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think about the Old coins? on: March 02, 2021, 06:26:17 PM
Hello Guys,

Coins on top for 2017 like EOS, VET, ZEC, DASH, NANO, XTZ...
Can they compete with existing coins like DOT, LINK, coins on DEfi.

Should I invest in old coins?

Most of this token has a high market cap in the market means it is trading in high volume in the market some the token like ZEN and DASH is already cost a few hundreds of dollars in the market.

I think lower price altcoins like EOS have a great potential in the future, compared to another token that already has a high market price, this just means that the market is volatile and you cant always expect the price to increase in the coming years.

What happened here is most of the investors from the past years are already selling their holding in these tokens because they need to make a profit and make an exit, meaning the market just needs to circulate when this token drops its prices investors are going to buy this token again. When it comes to altcoin you need an exit strategy not just holding forever in my opinion.
1697  Economy / Speculation / Re: ARE WE STILL BULLISH OR BEARISH ? on: March 02, 2021, 04:49:33 PM
we have seen some little dips in the past few days and its a big concern which many have said we should brace up for dips. currently the price is bouncing off the 44k region which can mean we might go up a little. looking at the chart i see 42-42k region as a strong support but if we close below this region then we might be in for a long to the 30k region. such is how market behaves so anyone who is happy about moon should also be expecting the dip. please give your views about the current market situations in terms of being bullish or bearish.

Just like what I've said to similar posts like this bitcoin will not go down its market price down to 30k$, going down to that market price is very unlikely at this moment but actually a good opportunity to buy bitcoin.

The demand for bitcoin these days was too high, and unlike in the past years, there are so many people who wanted to invest in bitcoin and just waiting for a good opportunity to invest.

In my analysis, the support was around 42k$ if the market price goes down to that price it might continue to fall down to 35k$ but it never goes down to that price so I assume the market price is already gonna bounce back to 50k$.
1698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can / cannot replace the banks ? on: March 02, 2021, 12:55:44 PM
I think for now it cants totally replace banks, but it's a great alternative to banks, I mean it can really replace bank I think it the government would choose bitcoin other than the banks which will never happen.

Because bitcoin is decentralized, and it's not really the goal of bitcoin to replace banks so I assume it will not really happen, but If I'm going to choose personally I would choose to put my funds in bitcoin other than banks.

Most of the investors would choose a bitcoin wallet other than a centralized system like banks, It was like choosing fiat over cryptocurrency.
1699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto offer riches overnight? on: March 01, 2021, 05:35:50 PM
Crypto is one of the avenues of getting rich yet it should be understood that it does not happen overnight. Getting rich in crypto requires a lot of dedication, hard work and patience. People do not see the essence of crypto investment because they want to get rich quickly, hence, hurriedly invest in projects that follow the pump and dump trend.
Remember, one key to success is patience.

It is actually possible to be rich in cryptocurrency overnight if your lucky but at the same time risky because you could lose your investment. Most people are not patient in investing because people just want easy profit.

Maybe it's not possible if you're just investing because the market price could take months or years before skyrocketing to the moon just like bitcoin, bitcoin takes years before reaching 58k$ in the market. If you invested a high capital you could multiple that easily if you're lucky with your investment but that really a fortune.

We have leverage trade or futures trading where you could easily earn a million in just 1 easy trade probably just a few trades, but the higher the investment the higher the risk because you could also get liquidated and lose your investment. You could easily earn 1000% or even more in just 1 trade if you're lucky.

1700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RIPPLE on: March 01, 2021, 01:05:32 PM
If you're able to buy XRP or Ripple around .2 cents in the market I think it is still worth holding the token for the long term because there is for sure a big potential in it.

I did buy XRP at .2 cents, as a remember a both in the middle as well and I sold some around .6cents when the price skyrocket because of the hype of Wallstreet, but I'm getting bored so I sold some of that as well and a little percentage kept as staking that I'm planning to sell in long term in case the market of XRP pump after its case.

I'm just worried about this XRP since I don't this it worths investing a big amount of investment because its risky to buy this token and it might not be worth it because it might take a long time because increasing its price so I sold some and invest it to other easy profitable altcoins in the market like BNB.
