I realize the next part of my post is controversial but please consider it:
We need to Promote volume Not price. Being in the top few in volume will attract new money. With BC's limited supply, new money will get us a gradual rise.
Think of it this way. New crypto investors are looking for low prices. When we hype price there are fewer and fewer new crypto investors for BC!
Volume allows for a good trading market. Traders need volume. Traders bring in new money at WHATEVER price.
Now this is the part that if this community embraces will take BC to BTC parity. OK ready?
We need to thwart the pump.
Lets take a stand:
Please do this, plan to sell a specific portion of your holdings at each swing high / new high. I suggest 1 to 5% at swing highs and 10% at new highs. Then, buy back MORE at each swing low.
Please, look at a chart for a previous meaningful swing high (maybe 10 to 20% higher than the current price) and enter your sell orders now! After you get a fill enter your buy order. Of course if you want to commit new money now (4/16 3pm EST) I suggest 10k - you may never get a fill but you might.
If we do this as a community and are disciplined about it we provide volume to the market AND tamp down each trading range. Every time a trading range collapses into a new equilibrium the pool buying will push us into a new higher trading range.
If we do this a community you will own the first alt coin to reach BTC parity.
I ask: Will we be the first community in crypto to GTFU and self-determine the future of our coin?
I can participate but don't we need a kind of signal (for the ones that aren't on the xchange). A Tweet might be a good idea? And what xchange do we use Cryptsy or Mintpal? please dont create an internal whale, it allows for too much manipulation. instead just follow the plan that was laid out in this post, and if your feeling incredibly altruistic about your buy or sell just come in here and announce it so people know where the sell was coming from |

How is that fear mongering? If anything, it might help explain this wild ride. It was a big 'news week' for crypto in China, and the news was basically 'this will be harder to put money into soon'. I think that could be an impetetus for weaker/less experienced Chinese buyers entering the market. Don't forget that BC made most of it's surprisingly large gains during Asian business hours, and now the largest losses also seem to be overnight in the West. It's all speculation on my part, that's all. I'm not claiming that's what happened. And yes, there's interest in crypto in China. Been living under a rock? Heard of BTC? Wasn't directed at you specifically more towards the term "the chinese" like they are some alien group of super manipulates. There is a ton of merit in crypto currencies to mainland China citizens because it helps them bring money off shore. So of course if it works and if their government let's them get away with it crypto prices will spike there. Instead of thinking of it as "the chinese" think of China as a caged bank with a ton of money but huge restrictions on where they can spend it. Sorry I'll stop writing about China anymore |

I do believe we are approaching capitulation volume has been steadilly decreasing as people have decided to neither sell nor buy, will take someone with huge gonads to start another big sell off at this point, but Im guessing we are gonna stabalize here for a few days until we are all rested and realize that the multipool and buyers are eating all the sell orders. At that point BC holders have a few more million dollars from the last top to buy back in.

I am saying this an an invester in cavirtex more than as a holder of BTC/BC
there are a lot of canadians in the blackcoin forum and there is a lot of volume
Cavirtex makes money off of volume not through some inherent belief that there should only be bitcoin.
besides I bet there are a lot of people coming here to buy and sell bitcoins only to trade them on mintpal for those so called shitcoins when they could be making more profit for cavirtex.

I have to agree, other than ecc coin which may or may not have a future in the top 50 coins....
I prefer to keep myself almost purely blackcoin/bitcoin for storage, but i change them into Dogecoins for free spending and fun
I also carry a few mil micro around for fun, but mostly to look at and think why the fuck did I buy those lol

Thats only true short term. Long term miners will buy the network if they hold less than one year at the current hash rate. if the price cuts lower they will buy half the network in 3 months regardless of dumps or fud right, kind odd to see the hypocrisy of the miners that dropped from the pool. Blackcoin goes up >> better get blackcoin the slowest way possible by mining scrypt while blackcoin is the highest it has ever been. Blackcoin goes down >> I could get 3-5x more blackcoin then before, disregard all the blackcoin you just wanted hours before. Well guess what miners, if you want blackcoin, you better mine what you can at these low levels. but you wont and all we will here once blackcoin goes up is how little blackcoin you are getting per day. so short sighted. seriously goldfish memories here Its insanely frustrating. I could have cashed too but I wanted to support miners as an investor and support the coin. I have been in since it started. Regardless, the miners can buy up the entire coin at this hash rate in less than a year. Dumpers cant stop them from doing that unless they hoard coins and that would make them holders. This happens with every coin. Look at Nxt for example. Something similar just recently happened with them. Do not get frustrated by people selling off, it is good for the coin. Before we went above 10,000 there were quite a few holders with over 300k + coins. Now that number has dwindled and the coins have been dispersed to new investors. The next time we reach a new level there will be less major holder to start selling off. Eventually we will get to the point where most holders will have less than 100k and the price will rise. This coin is dead, all that's left are depressed and angry bagholders and filthy rich whales. This pump is a lot like Aur and Maz pumps, huge increases over a couple hours followed by a blood bath. Let's face it, this coin is just like every other coin but on steroids.
I do salute those who held coins bought below 2k, but my guess is that same faith and strength kept most from cashing out before The Dump.

disclaimer though I thought I could help hold prices above 20 in order to create a higher resistance line...

virtually no more trading on Mintpal.
wonder if that is good or bad right now.
If you haven't noticed we have been running on cycles of high volume rises than profit taking followed by 3 to 5 days of low volume until people realize it's not another panda coin and than a redo. Each time there has been an increase of around 100% at the lows and crazy upside swings at the highs. While increasing the number of wallets every time. If it follows trend low will be between 12 and 15 stabilize around 15 to 20 then up we go. I'd personally rather just see buy support and a slow crawl but I know that isn't gonna happen in adoption phase |
