After looking into some of the details, as a professional investor, I can say that this bot seems to be written by a reliable expert who knows what to do in the market of this kind.

Good work, Sampey! Although I am not interested in cryptocurrency investments, I will keep an eye on your work as an academic interest.

Thank you so much i really appreciate  Wink Wink Wink

I would love to see okcoin get added
https://www.okcoin.com/about/rest_api.do

Also, I am not sure if trailing stops are in here, but would love this to be an option for a more manual trading. For example, set buy/sell at x price (pending order). Would want to have stoploss within y% of order once executed. The result is that it will only move in one direction while never going in the other. For longs, it moves stop up but never down in price.

Sorry, are you a CAT customer?  Smiley

25% DISCOUNT ON NEW CAT PURCHASE Is Still Valid!
1686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Oh Fuck! - This asshole published my private key! on: June 27, 2016, 10:50:40 AM
^^ In this case, A little longer == Decades if you're very lucky.

Whatever you do, don't search for your private key like this[1] or the owner of that site will steal all your coins. He even said so in the faq.

[1] http://directory.io/1#5HpHagT65TZzG1PH3CSu63k8DbpvD8s5ip4nEB3kEsreMuv36HW

LOL, of course if a person search his pubblic address using his private key he deserve to lost all his coins.

this is of course trivial to understand :

- There's no database.

- Pages are dynamically created (it means WHEN you click on a page the resulting page is created at runtime).

- If you search your address using your private key, you will see the resulting page with your public key (because you sent your private key and you're a noob)

Hope the OP is joking, but let's try to calculate how much size will request a storage of
904625697166532776746648320380374280100293470930272690489102837043110636675 PAGES

Let's say 1 Page size is 1 byte (it's not true of course, it's more than this).
so 1024 Pages are 1 Kbyte right?
Let's remove 3 digit from the page number (to convert from byte to kbytes rounding to 1000 instead of 1024)

904625697166532776746648320380374280100293470930272690489102837043110636

Ok let's do the same
- from Kbyte to MByte
- from MByte to Gbyte
- from Gbyte to Tbyte
- from Tbyte to Pbyte

We have 12 digits to remove

These are the PETA we still need to use our database.

904625697166532776746648320380374280100293470930272690489102

So, are you serious?HuhGrin Grin Grin Grin Grin

We want to continue?
from Pbyte to Exabyte
from Exabyte to Zettabyte
from Zettabyte to Yottabyte

And we can still remove another 9 digits

So we still need
904625697166532776746648320380374280100293470930272
Yottabyte to store that database.

 Cheesy Cheesy

i've already give you a response many days ago.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=507103.msg15024568#msg15024568

This is a common attitude you have : you post here a problem, and after i give you/ask you something, you didn't give me any feedback.
if you can see here:

if there are more pairs the list is going longer and the Restore Orders button is outside monitor and not reachable!
(in this example are only a few pairs..; the window is resizeable in width but you cannot reach the ground where the Restore Orders button is)

ok so if i have more info it will be probably easier for me to understand the problem  Smiley
So how many markets did you have to restore when the problem occurs?

I will make that windows resizable or with scrollbar.

very disgruntled Sad
with newest version (after all saved, reboot and tried all from new)
still
not possible to load orders because window is bigger than monitor and not resizeable...
and
OK button outside monitor!
so nothing to reenable
and alle hopes to continue it from last status are for nothing Angry

I think there's a problem on your OS + JAVA installation, because NOBODY have your kind of problems AND you have a lot of strange problems, from RAM, to GUI Frozen, to GUI un-resizable.

I need the market log.
I think it's a single satoshi rounding problem.

Usually these roundings have no problems, they are invisible (example PING 0.00012345 -> PONG 0.00012671 -> Rounding  0.00012670)
Rounding occurs for many reason during price calculation.
In you case we are talking about a ping of 1 SATOSHI PRICE. In that case the rounding routine could have got problems.
But i need to check that market log  Wink

(Ubuntu 16.04)

thx

I can't help you on that, i have Windows.
Probably some user could help you.  Wink

how is this possible?

thx

You mean the 0% Gain?
It's a visualization problem, only 3 digit after the 0 are visualized.
Probably your gain value was 0,000XXXXX

Hi guys, i'm looking for a new exchange to interface.
Some suggestions?  Smiley

http://www.btc38.com/trade_en.html

kraken
 Smiley

Kraken was in my TODO List, but after i understand that THEY WANT your private info, i decide to not interface CAT.
If they will decide to remove personal info for TIER 1 customers i will add it.

1695  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does auto trading bot make good profit ? on: June 19, 2016, 09:22:18 PM
Does automated Bitcoin or other crypto currency trading bot can make some good benefits ? Is it good to use it ? What is the best bot ?

I have seen many trading bots that are being sold here in forum like C.A.T but telling the truth i do not trust these bots, what if the developer has made a hidden feature and dumps all clients's assets (bitcoins, altcoins), nobody can guarantee that this can't happen. Also it is the opposite way pumping a price and then buying high etc. Maybe there is a profit using them but I believe that the amount isnt high.
Yes, we do not have to trust on them, it is a big risk to take, and also there are a lot of people who want the sellers to sell their coins at lowest price, so these are chances that someone work on it so as to dump the coins.

If a bot dev (like me), who create bot to have a BTC revenue, put malicious code inside his bot (let's say a code that sell coin X without your permission) the only result will be the complete lost of credibility and customers.
I Agree when people say "don't trust bot", free bot for example without source code are dangerous.
But if you look at the bot history and dev feedback probably you'll be able to understand if the bot is ok and trusted or not.
In my case i'm selling my bot since 2013, and i have near 200 positive feedbacks...........so no reason for me to put bad code inside my bot  Wink

hello Sampey, I've been trading with btc/usd,  I wonder is there any trading platform able to practice with CAT?
I've been using same strategy for about 1,5 years, I want to develop a new strategy but I'm too afraid to lose money (I'm not rich trader)

CAT works only on exchanges production system  Undecided
I Suggest you to practise using a very little amount, in the wors scenario case you will lost some BTC Fraction.....
