1681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I was finally able to purchase an iPhone 13 pro max using my Bitcoin on: February 19, 2022, 05:45:34 AM
It will probably be a bit uncomfortable afterwards to feel like the dude who bought a pizza for 10k bitcoins. Sure the iPhone 13 is a cool phone, but I think it's silly to spend precious bitcoins on a phone that gets old every year and bitcoins get more expensive every year. I wonder what kind of shop has agreed to accept bitcoins as payment? Usually mobile phones are bought from branded shops that offer a warranty on the purchase.
Definitely, it’s something he would have a second thought about doing. Looking at the story he has told here, it’s quite clear that it wasn’t his intention to spend his bitcoin on buying an iPhone 13, but he simply did that because the seller said that he was accepting bitcoin, so he went for it and decided to spend bitcoin on the phone.

But, it’s not that bad, if he would be able to replace the bitcoin he has spent within a short time since the market has not really started being bullish. The price is still circling the $30,000 and $40,000 price rate and I think that the next bullish trend might be around next year or even two.
1682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: February 18, 2022, 08:52:31 PM
Masi getting "fired" was something expected after last race. We all knew that Mercedes gave up too quickly, there has to be something that needed to be talked there and there needed to be some controversy and some agreement to handle it.

I am sure that Mercedes knew that they wouldn't be able to actually win any case, it is a private entity and they could run it however they want and even if there was a mistaken way of reading the situation, it was still unclear enough to give Masi benefit of the doubt. Mercedes must have requested his head to not follow up, and F1 gave them that much. Now they have another season and this time it is a bit more clear and would help them the most.
1683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why a single bet is better than a multi bet. on: February 18, 2022, 08:15:28 PM
Betting multiple times doesn't decrease or increase your chances of winning anything nor does it increase or decrease your bet "multiply". When you place a bet and the win chance is 50%, then the win chance is 50%. If you place another, it is still the same. You have 50 50 chance of winning. Your previous bet result doesn't affect the win chance of your next bet. There is something called gamblers fallacy that people think if they keep on losing previous bet, they will win the next bet. Doesn't work that way.
But yeah, if you keep on playing, in the long run it is only the house that will win, not you.
It can be true that house will won the more you play gambling but I think that only applies if your already winning and if you continue betting. It happens to me a lot of times before. I also tried multiple deposits because i cant hit my target on the few rolls/deposit and guess what happens later on? I did win.

It has been happening to me as well a lot of times so maybe it isn't just a gamblers fallacy but maybe it is really true that the more you play the more chances of winning but only if your loosing and haven't wont yet (based on my experiences) but I am also a believer that your current rolls doesn't affect the previous or the next rolls.
1684  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why don't popular micro/freelancers sites adopt bitcoin? on: February 18, 2022, 07:28:39 PM
Actually that would be the best use case for crypto. I do some freelancer jobs occasionally and I was wondering the same thing.

Maybe it is because the crypto transactions are irreversible and it makes the situation quite problematic when something goes wrong. I wish some big freelancer platform like upwork adopted crypto.
On which sites you do freelancing jobs? If it is mostly from our forum I am sure that the employer is ready to pay you in cryptos or you can also demand the same because he was here in a crypto forum. Yes, crypto transactions are non reversible but an employer should not pay first but he must only pay the worker once the job is done and if he is sure that there will be no errors, in that way, no problems are going to be faced later on.

Some sites prefer to use the same payment method. We cannot forced them. If we want to get paid in cryptos, there are usually freelancing that is dedicated for crypto people. A little bit googling will show you what I mean.
1685  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A Newbie Needs some help :D on: February 18, 2022, 10:21:03 AM
In my opinion, if you want to learn in the crypto world for beginners, there are several important factors that must be considered such as sufficient capital, what strategy we will use, understanding of fundamental analysis, and price action, and many more considering that the crypto market is very volatile. In addition, money management must also be considered to get good risk and reward.
More or less like that because in cryptocurrency it is very complicated so it is necessary to prepare and learn many things,
nothing is instant so if a newbie really intends to be successful in crypto then they have to trust the process,
nowadays it is very easy to get information about crypto so no more excuses
Sufficient capital is really needed as said. I don’t think there is much that you can do in the cryptocurrency market if you don’t have enough capital to do so. There isn’t free money as some people used to say, cryptocurrency is not free at all and you will need money to buy it or invest.

And it’s not really like before when there are so many faucets where you can be earning freecoins by just claiming it within some few minutes or so, things have changed, and it’s even really tight this time around that you would hardly come across any source of free Bitcoin, and when you see anybody claiming to give you free Bitcoin, it's likely to be a scam. So, having sufficient capital is the first thing. Then as they do say, learning never ends, so he should also keep learning and getting to know new things in the market they are really going to be helpful to him.
1686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will be the next big industry move? on: February 17, 2022, 06:12:25 PM
The future of the metaverse is promising, and when combined with the increasingly advanced technologies of VR equipment, if combined with crypto, they can be a huge success in the not too distant future.
Unfortunately the value of the equipment is still very expensive and inaccessible for many people, I hope this changes soon.
Only on the issue of health, I'm a little concerned, because if today people already exchange many experiences of face-to-face relationship through online and video chats, imagine then that the metaverse is quite widespread.
Metaverse wont be completed without a VR equipment but with crypto? I do not think its necessarily needed but if they add it then fine, it will be a good news for us who support crypto because they are being introduced along with the newer technologies.

Speaking of the equipment, the VR technology is not that new anymore so I believe there are now older versions of VR that are cheap and affordable for the masses. They need to decrease its value over time if they will release a newer model, the same thing happens on mobile phones, gaming consoles and other stuffs. If your worrying about health issues, just do not over use it but only use it as moderation and you will be fine.
1687  Economy / Economics / Re: Your opinion on side jobs on: February 17, 2022, 10:53:04 AM
Actually it all depends on each person's decision they have the freedom to choose to work on 2 jobs at once which is divided into main work and side work,
there is no limit for everyone and indeed not everyone can do that because deciding to work part time takes a lot of time and effort
Sky is only the limit. If you can handle doing the side job aside from your main job then go on, why not? But, if you feel that your main job is already taxing your energy too much then I guess its better to be contented than to risk your health looking for more ways to earn because in the end your earning wont still be enough to treat your illness cause by overworking.

Money is not all about anything but as long you can eat at least twice a day in your 1st job I think that is already enough. Sometimes we need to be contented in life and accept things were it used to be because being too greedy and wanting more could lead us to our grave pretty easy.
1688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots 104: Fishing Game/Arcade - Like Slots but More Action! on: February 17, 2022, 09:44:45 AM
a few days ago I also tried to play the game in bk8, but because I also didn't understand the game, I ended up losing money, I think in bk8 now there are many games that are quite good and easy to play, but to be honest, I  prefer to play Candy Bonanza and Golden West for now, because the chances of getting a win are bigger and easier

Next time do not play using your real money if you do not have an idea how the game was played because you can surely lose and it did happened already but does bk8 offer a free play or not? How much did you lose anyway? If it is small then that's fine just to test things out. What about the two games that you mentioned is that a kind of slots ? But, I would like to try that out too because you said its easier to win big on them.

I like winning big wins but who wouldn't be? Now I know why op have posted this game because this game is from bk8 but he should edit his post and add a direct link to the game or he should mentioned the site where this game can be played because many are going to get curious.
1689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: February 16, 2022, 09:01:48 PM
As of now, they are the richest sporting authority, and they can manage things like this very easily without any big concern, even they can manage one ODI tournament as well for women which will create more interest and some better for spreading cricket around India for women talent.
All board may contribute some money and start some sort of league for money, as its not possible for small countries to bear losses from woman leagues. This will only help women cricketers to generate money for themselves, as of now I dont think there is any women cricketer who has earned adequate money from cricket.
BCCI is not small board and India is also not small country and if they start any league for women surely after some seasons they will receive very good response, and they will be in better position but sadly currently they are not thinking about this at all and their all greediness is on IPL and men cricket which is really poor thinking from this management right now just Australia and England Boards are doing some good for women cricketers and no other capable of doing this.

India is very good in few things and right now they can bring this big change in this region because if they announce any league with women surely many women cricketers from other countries will also participate in this and this will give them some good fan base which will also help in good marketing and better way of having some income may be in early years they have few loses, but later they can do some better.
1690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake Wagered $1.3 million in super bowl bet using bitcoin on: February 16, 2022, 05:21:18 PM
News of Drake's victory spread everywhere and it could make many people look and want to find out the truth.
And people will see Stake as one of the popular sites using crypto and Drake betting on that site.
That will make many people visit Stake.com and try to bet there.
It can be a great means of promotion for Stake because they can get a chance to get more members who will gamble on their site.
Haven't seen it in the social media sites that I use but I only see the news inside the forum. It is not a widespread or this news was still early and it can take a couple of time before people talk about this and that's the time it will spread like a wildfire. If they are a curious type of person they will search for every detail of the news for them to know if it is true or not but they should be careful on some sites that doesn't tell the truth about stake casino.

There are fake review sites that tells stake is not a good casino to gamble on. If ever they will gamble and it was their first time they should be careful too because gambling is an addictive thing.
1691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: That's it! I found secure and easy platform to buy Crypto on: February 16, 2022, 09:01:58 AM
I am swapping buying and selling only at Oobit, They got only IOS app for now but its worth it (they also got web)
From what I see the price of the token and the market - https://pancakeswap.finance/swap?inputCurrency=0x07f9702ce093db82dfdc92c2c6e578d6ea8d5e22

How come they only got to support IOS as far as I know its much easier to get an approval from android apps than apps on apple. How easy is it? I mean whats the advantage over other famous platform? It can be used globally? Like most of the token listed could be purchase using debit/ or credit card?
Indeed Apple is strict on everything but we do not know why the founder decided to build ios app and not android, maybe he is an ios user and he loves apple products? This platform can be easy but to call it secure? I am not 100% sure with that because this platform was new to us and to us there are more secure platforms where we can buy a crypto.

I can disregard other functionality because to me being safe or secure is still important more than anything else. I have done some reading above and based on the comment of others, this site is like crypto.com. Did they ran out of ideas and they just copy someone else website?
1692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which one has a Ethereum-like potential? on: February 15, 2022, 10:12:46 AM
1- BNB
2- LTC
3- RABBIT
4- ETH
Matic has already ended the chance recently , though yeas in future there might be another growth but this is another thing to expect but binance is the most and the best for this question because if there is a currency that can be replaced or at least will have the potential like what Ethereum has.
so Binance but not Litecin lol, that is a dying currency and no chance of increasing again
Litecoin and polygon dying ? is that a joke or what. A drop in the price does not mean that a coin died already but I can only count it as a dead coin once there is no more value in it. Matic and ltc are dropping now but is there a coin that didnt dump during this bear season?

Even the mightiest btc did drop too but wait till btc comeback at that is the time others will comeback too on their places. LTC is an old coin but I cant mix it up with matic because both have different use cases. Matic can be called the next eth and theres bsc too or bnb. What about the rabbit coin? Why is this included in the list? I think this one is an ordinary coin. Nothing special about this.
1693  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Inflation is a big problem for a country? on: February 15, 2022, 04:56:06 AM
We all know that Inflation in the US economy is at an alarming rate. Not the only USA, but Inflation is also a big problem for many countries globally, and it seems there is no way to stop it. Is it impossible to stop inflation in fiat currency or govt don't want to take any action it stop it? Do you think people can do anything to stop inflation in their economy or its inevitable?
It is very much possible for the government to control inflation, but I just don’t get why they don’t do it. Although trying to stop inflation it can also have its own consequences, but I still believe that if the government should go about it the right way then they would be able to pull it off properly.

The thing is, do our leaders really care about us that much? Because this is not the first time that we are seeing inflation, it has been happening for a very long time, and as a matter of fact, lots of economists keep predicting that such will happen, but it seems like the government would go ahead to ignore all the warnings that’s not been laid out.
1694  Economy / Economics / Re: Just my own thoughts on: February 14, 2022, 05:09:00 PM
Bitcoin and Fiat may have similarities and that is it in ability to store value, be a means of exchange etc, as for it's decentralized nature, it's majorly the feature of Bitcoin and so the should be no room for competition cause Fiat on the other round is being controlled and as such is centralized, they're both and wolll remain alternative for each other and not competitors.
A good point, the both of them are different and should exist as alternatives. At least Bitcoin has relieved us the stress of having to go to the bank and standing in the long queue because of we want to make transactions. I can’t count how many times that Bitcoin has been of help to me. And also the Fiat is still useful to me as well.

It’s all about what you want to do; whenever I’m making a local transaction, I do rely very much on Fiat, but when it comes to sending money to someone who is not in the country with me, then Bitcoin is usually the best option for me to consider, because I don’t use PayPal or any other payment methods. so whenever they are useful to you, that's when you should make use of them.
1695  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hire Crypto Trader on: February 14, 2022, 04:46:38 PM
In my opinion it is better to learn to practice the market by yourself than to hire a crypto trader. Also, the correct market signals are not always in the same place you can easily get updated information about trading contacts by joining professional traders or different groups the risk is low here the current state of the crypto market may seem like a mystery to worry about, but it can also be fruitful. Learning from those who are more experienced than oneself is in many cases a key method of progress, and in one's own arsenal it is a good idea to learn the basics by using your knowledge.
That’s a fact, a lot of people in this forum would rather prefer to learn how to trade and do it themselves than having to join a trade signal group or paying someone to do the trade for them.

Most people don’t do that these days, they just prefer to handle their business all by themselves and not to get anyone else involved. Even the forum here is quite enough and will teach you a lot of things that you don’t know, because there are so many people here who are ready to share their thoughts. There are also lots of articles that would be found online that would help any Trader to be good as much as they want.
1696  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New and emerging Cryptocurrencies? on: February 14, 2022, 03:00:34 PM
The OP can start on this forum, check in the ANN section and Tokens (Altcoins) boards as new projects are being introduced in these boards. Now, if you want a comprehensive or updated news, you can always join their social media channel as mentioned above, like telegram. Because in most cases, the discussion is more in-depth in their social media. You can also get some ideas on how the team is responding to their followers. You will also get some intuitions on where the project is heading by how the team is managing their project.
That’s one of the good places to search for new coins in the market, because when you get to join their social media groups, you would get to learn more about the project that is about to be released, and also get to know the team members better. But, anyone who is doing this has to be really careful and make sure that they are choosing the right coin.

Most of these new coins in the market these days are a huge risk, so people really has to be careful what they are choosing these days. You don’t just hop into whatever you see, make sure that the team members are really who they claim to be.
1697  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What wouy you improve about Bitcoin if you had the chance ? on: February 14, 2022, 12:49:42 PM
In as much as my private key gives me full control of my funds and it grants me access to sign a transaction if it gets misplaced then I'm doom for life. What if there was an improvement on this maybe a way of recovering back ones private key if it gets misplaced even if it would take a proof of work alogrithm or even a more tudious process but having a chance to get back lost wallets in cases of carelessness or maybe hazardous damage since it's not advisable to store private keys online nor would it possible for everyone to memorize this combined alpha-numeric values of SHA256 alogrithm
Same scenario when we lost our password we can just press the forget password and the password can easily be recovered on our email. Is that what you want? But, changing the security of bitcoin will make it not different to the traditional security that we used today.

I do not want to changed it because this is the only thing that makes bitcoin unique or special. To some wallets that we used they offer different methods to access your account not only private key. They have the traditional password, pin code, json, and seed phrase and we can also have the ability to export it and save a hard copy to our selves. We can use this as a back up other than our private key.
1698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to buy and sell NFT? on: February 13, 2022, 06:54:41 PM
Hi

Which platform(s) can you recommend for selling NFTs that's are on (BSC) Binance Smart Chain ?

Also I would ask, in some platforms some NFTs are not showing, do the processes can be automatic or each Collection must be registered first ?
You can try this out > https://www.airnfts.com. It is said to be the nft marketplace for not only for bsc but also for polygon. Just a disclaimer, I did not own this platform but I just found it out via a web search. It shows on the top results that's why I pick this up first so try at your own risk.

For your problem, on why some of your nft's are not showing I guess its because the nft's you have are from a different chain let say bsc but the nft exchange that your using do only supports eth and polygon networks. Is the nft exchange your talking to is opensea? Because, same problems I experienced before. No need for registrations but once you login or connect your wallet. Your all nft collections will show up.
1699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin doesn't have a bright future anymore on: February 13, 2022, 10:30:55 AM
All the gains with btc were made already if we are looking for 4 years from now is only 2-3x .

ETH I could see 5X in the next 4 years it has lower marketcap and better roi.

I wouldn't bet on metaverse coin yet because all the project look superb. look at sandbox, decentraland is not look like they have bright future too.

Terra luna is intersting decentralized stable coin and this cool project.
How can you predict all of these? Are you Nostradamus? But, sorry to disagree on all of your points.
First off it is not the end for btc but it is only the beginning because the bears have finally subsided.
Next eth, this can be start of the fall of eth since we know that there is no more eth 2.0, there is no way for the fees to return to normal.

Why would not you bet on metaverse if you think they are good? Do you believe that too good to be true means scam? And I thought no need for eth competitors but why would you like bnb when its also an eth competitor? About tera and luna, I think I can agree to that, that its a good project because I can also see it.
1700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Metaverse a bubble? on: February 13, 2022, 08:08:14 AM
Starting from this principle that you name from Facebook, I don't see it as a bubble or a simple fad either, I think the metaverses are here to stay, obviously this will be a world where there will be freedoms that cannot be executed in real life, however the metaverses they are so ingrained in us, that without having come out in their entirety we are already needing it, a common example is the NFT games in the metaverses, the networks that will be most sought after are the cheapest for their fees, so not only in any eventuality metaverses can be used but in game development and others.
Metaverses is a new hype, which, using the example of some projects, has shown that people are interested in it and therefore in the future it will gain mass character. I don’t think that the metaverse is a bubble that will burst soon, I think that an alternative reality will be to the liking of many. If people there buy land and property for cryptocurrency, then they will not refuse it so easily.
Well, buying estates on the Metaverse has been the new trend and everyone is talking about it and every investor is going for it , nobody wants to miss the new trend in the market. It’s the normal thing, nobody wants to miss a new trend in the market. Nobody cares whether the houses they are buying is real or not , they don’t care about the fact that if the platform goes down that their precious estate would be nowhere again, they just keep buying, and of course they are going to benefit from it.

And I believe that everyone who is investing at this early point would be the ones who are going to benefit from it than those who would coming later, because right now it is a huge trend.
