Alcaraz, Tsitsipas with Djokovic for the title at the moment.
not sure about Tsitsipas and Djokovic, but calling Alcaraz to get the title is a little weird, because he is not even participating it is good to look at matches before writing something Couacaud took a set off of Đoković - did not expect that to be honest, but at least it gave me a decent handicap betting opportunity. ~snip
I was on a meeting and could not put anything, but this was certainly a great opportunity to get handicap odds on Djokovic, better than outright (what were the odds right after tie-break?)

We're still pretty close guys and there are plenty of matches left. Everyone still has the chance to win the prize money, don't give up just yet.
not sure if it is due to competition and scoring system, or just we are all with similar predictions, but this is one of closest competitions overall, looking at point difference and total number of points that could be obtained nevertheless, close round ahead, there is no clear winnings except for Dortmund and Frankfurt home matches, all others could go almost on any side betting wise, goals are far better than ML, but pool requires scores

~snip You can't accidentally lead by 6 goals against Norway and I am thinking there could be problems for Serbia here.
you can't lead by chance, but if you lose it in the end, that tells a lot about your mental strength (IMO, Norway played just enough)? but due to schedule, it boils down to Norway first and in case Serbia lose that one, one can say that match against Netherlands will not have much to play for (there is a possibility Germany lose against Netherlands and math chances, but I would not call it that realistic) and Qatar could do us a favor tomorrow and take point from Netherlands, but there is also not realistic

~snip What does Bosman law has to do with amount of home grown players? Bosman law is that low which allows players to start negotiating with other clubs for free when they have 6 months left in the contract.
agree here, but I think that is more important that players are able to leave club without transfer fee paid, if their contract expired, Bosman was not able to leave at all, his contract was expired, they set an enormous fee that no club is willing to pay, and he had to sign new contract with the club (not sure if you remember that, but within Ex-Yu players were not able to leave country until 28 years old, and that is mostly why clubs had more chances to win something in European competitions) but overall, I think that this is not football that I like I would like to see Champions league with only Champions per country, no 5 teams from EPL, that could be another competition, something like Super-league or similar, but this way you get that CL winner is not Champion in country where they play, IMO that is absurd

~snip I see that Serbia is placed in a group with Norway and Netherlands. Too bad that they couldn't at least get a draw from the game against Germany as that would give them 1 extra point in the next phase. Now they will probably have to beat Norway and Netherlands in order to qualify for the quarter final.
Egypt was always a nation that played great handball so I'm not that surprised that they are winning all the games. It was a surprise that they managed to beat Croatia, especially with that big goal difference. Because of that Croatia will have to win tomorrow's game against Denmark which will be very difficult. In handball Denmark is like Brazil in football. Of course they can be beaten but the other team must play a perfect defense and offense. I guess we will see tomorrow how it will go, but I'm not very optimistic.
yeah, will be difficult for both Serbia and Croatia to pass into next stage winning over Norway will be a difficult task, far from impossible, but certainly not an easy one, Netherlands is a different story, that should be won but overall, Norway and Germany are prone to go into next round, both with a one-goal win over rivals in first part on the other hand, for Croatia is also difficult that Denmark is a first match in new group, in case of not winning it, it is almost over (and odds suggest that with @1.1 on Denmark)

~snip I guess Wout and Martial will share the minutes and that makes both of them not good choices. Rashford is enough to cover United attack.
agree here, Martial is on road out from my team he did not proved worth it, but did not want to send him for -4 points, so he stayed for a DGW (which will probably be not worth it, since he is questionable for tonight) Rashford on the other hand could be good for goals tonight, United is in strike and clean sheet would be great, although Shaw is now almost in every team, so no value there

Read about the injury, it was during 2nd set. Still think it was his first set that did it all because he tried to chase... apparently opponent was still nervous.
it seemed that he almost started injured but overall, that was mostly expected, it was too much to catch this match for lose, but certainly far from anything that Nadal could go any further Medvedev win was good today, and my boy Norrie is having to play 4th set, expected him to win straight sets (but no betting so far from me on AO)

Serbia is playing Qatar, after pretty solid match against Germany it is just a start, but seems that it could be a tough one for us
Egypt is playing really above expectations, brought down all rivals, including Croatia with 10+ goals, not sure how far they can go, but could be a good one for them

It won't be paying much but it is as certain a bet as you'll find.
this really seems to be true for Novak I don't think there is a remote chance for anyone to even make it interesting against him, and winning is hardly possible looking at Zverev, Rublev today final is almost guaranteed from this part of the draw, and only Medvedev played great tennis in first round, but I don't see him going far

-snip Haaland effective ownership is so high that if you own Haaland you are actually hoping he will not score. Every point he gets can only cost you rank. Beautiful game FPL.
that is not good at all but it due to point system where there is no point cap per player per GW, if that is in place you would not care about Haaland having hat-trick or more goals, because you will know that there is a cap, and he can't score more than 15 points, for example btw, Sorare is now offering La Liga fantasy, for free, and they are for long planning partnership with EPL, combine these two and maybe FPL will move to Sorare

~snip Silly me for backing them to win (though I did bet on Napoli).
same here, I was hedging Napoli (that I would like to win the title) with Juventus to win, and draw in the pool, so any outcome gives some good news although, I am following more Serie B, where Cagliari is trying to catch that play-off spot, being down below some giants like Ternana and Sudtirol, but three wins from last four matches brought good vibe

this weekend the bundesliga finally starts and we can support our clubs again in the stadiums or in front of the tv and so that no participant here misses this league start, here is now a small reminder from me who of you has not yet submitted any picks ~snip thanks for ping, not that I would forget that Bundesliga starts, but it is good to get notice it is not just any start, Bayern is playing with Leipzig on Friday night, and goals are the least that should be expected there (I expect a good fight from Leipzig, they had bad start, but second part of the season should be completely different story IMO) checked the table, and Bavarians had some rough weekends, but cruising to new title obviously

who would expect this, Feyenoord had toughest schedule since restart and came up with 4 points lead on AZ, with Ajax and PSV below
Twente took point in Amsterdam, that is best value for Feyenoord at the moment, still early, but it can be a really interesting season after all
Ajax obviously lack consistency this season, is it just coach that left, or players as well?

I duly wonder the next time City will score up to 3-4 goals again this season, because it might never happen.
would not call it that bad, but I do think that Haaland is far from something really special, and he could end-up below 30 goals when season ends they can score several against Spurs (although that is not what I think will be), and chemistry will be back to the team Arsenal is playing great, and that cannot be avoided, so City will probably focus on CL, where they do not have titles, they have many EPL trophies already

~snip But what are you complaining, you at least have 1 point this game week in La Liga. I am on 0 and it all looked so logical when I was picking the results.
But I will live trough it if Barca and Real do me good and manage to score some goals. Waiting on both to score for a nice x6 multi ticket.
Sociedad did that for me, but probably worst week ever in La Liga pool, and looking at picks, would probably do the same in another try Atletico is a real shit-show, and didn't expect from Espanyol to take all points from Getafe, but that is life, though weekend in pools Barca did their part in El Classico, now it is up to Real to score theirs

Just pissed at myself for not captaining Rashford
same here wanted to do it, but 6:3 and Haaland hattrick, while I sent him from my team are still the worst decision this season, and that influenced decision for this round, although I believed that United is not going to lose the match, and almost certain that Rashford will, at least, be as good as Haaland + Rashford has Crystal Palace, and Haaland Spurs to come what is happening with Saka? except on FPL, didn't saw that he is not going to play today

My prediction that Basque derby will be not high scoring game didn't aged well. Very solid Sociedad and that red card in 2nd half killed all chances for Athletic to make an comeback. -snip
this was my, by far, worst week in pools generally having missed all results till Brentford in the evening in EPL, and sitting at 0 points in this round in all pools was something different hopefully it would be a glitch, and not trend reversal and team results were not going my way either not sure about El Classico, but since it is 50:50 chances for me, and Barca is favored by bookies, my call will be Real, better value

-snip EDIT; Can't wait to see where this one takes me congrats, had same view on United, but some of those lower ones didn't expect, especially Southampton to get over us, but Brighton win as well still remember your bet on United in third round, when they won over Liverpool at home, after lousy start, that was by far less expected than this one, and I expected to see something like this from your side
