1681  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Should be subsubject in Economy on: April 16, 2020, 12:15:06 AM
Economy? Yeah it makes sense, but having it as "subsubjecr" is just a waste of time. There are few universoties that offering already blockchain courses, if they will gonna input and discuss economic related even in just one topic in a class, they will gonna understand it. What i mean is focusing about the blockchain subject rather than that of economy subject.
1682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Another Exchange got hacked on: April 15, 2020, 06:10:59 AM
It's an unending story. Hackers can hacked some crypto exchanges and no one can ever prevent that. I remembered Binance before, but they acquire all the responsibilities and return the hacked btc to the users. However, I wonder how Bisq reacts to this situation. Will they compensate and be responsible for the lost and hacked coins? Or will they just exit?

Ols or new exchanges cannot escaped this bad experience, hacking issues. But if these happens, their security would always be at question.
1683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cheating or Not? on: April 15, 2020, 03:20:21 AM
If it was stated in the beginning about that no KYC and then suddenly changed, you can make it appeal to the team. Which i think is useless, I mean. Their project means they can change the rules.
May I know what's the name of that project you are referring to? Therr are a lot of projects like that, changing rules. It's either two way: for the betterment of the project or to scam their participants or members.
1684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Education on: April 15, 2020, 01:22:54 AM
Few universities are already teaching about blockchain courses. I think it is complicated to teach it in a mathematic algorithm. However in other subjects like economics or other, we can further understand it. Afterall, it is all about it's "blockchain" content and the blocks operated inside. And it's the advancement of technology we are interested to learn here.

Here's some of the universities that teaches blockchain subject/courses;

1685  Other / Politics & Society / Re: GLOBAL PANDEMIC - BLESSING IN DISGUISE on: April 15, 2020, 12:09:04 AM

Now is the time for them to learn how this cryptocurrency works and know how can be this thing advantageous to their situation.
1686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain can help fighting corona on: April 14, 2020, 10:06:48 AM
Correct me if i got your point wrong or not. Does this mean it will gonna determine conveniently the contact tracing? The root of the covid will be trace then?
I somehow like your idea about that id with keys. But with this current situation we are facing it is hard to develop and implement it now. Are we just gonna give ids to those PUI, PUM and COVID POSITIVE only?
1687  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Canada include the bitcoin. on: April 14, 2020, 07:02:56 AM
A new door is a new opportunity for both Canada and cryptocurrency. But this is not new anymore, I mean even if it's  good news. It doesn't affect much the bitcoin's performance. The price went down again atm. However, a great innovation from government of Canada is highly appreciated by many bitcoin enthusiasts.
1688  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is our chance on: April 14, 2020, 04:27:02 AM
With all that and stuff, it is still fully adopted. Government and banks conflicts with bitcoin. Tons of criticisms were being thrown to it. Anonymous, volatility has still a negative side for them to finally consider it.

But, I also in favor of it as our freedom to control our own money. And there are some highlights wherein some banks are crypto friendly and some governments are having a legal implementations. Will these reasons be the start to change the world old tradition way of payments?
1689  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Order Fulfillment time estimation ? on: April 14, 2020, 02:01:17 AM
How long do you think will take for the order to be completed ?
 And thanks in advance

Once you buy trx/btc pair at .00000200 someone will gonna pick it up and sell their trx to you. It will be filled soon. Well, the higher the price you will gonna buy it, the sooner you will get it because trader will gonna sell their trx for their preferred price.
For example, I will sell my trx at .00000300 and some trader will sell their trx at .00000250, but if you will gonna buy trx at .00000300 then we will both filled the price.
1690  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: TPT - Toilet Paper Token Listed sa Yobit ano opinyon nyo dito. on: April 14, 2020, 12:25:01 AM
May nabasa ako somewhere dito sa forum about Yobit na scam daw. Well, kung totoo man ito or hindi ang hirap magtiwala sa mga ganitong klaseng exchange trading platform.

At isa pa, that coin toilet paper was only made for april fool's day. So hilarious para patulan ng yobit exchange ito at ilist sa exchange nila where in fact isa itong imaginary coin noong April 1. How come they have listed it, mayroong supply agad? Na launch agad without whitepaper and campaign or etc.?
1691  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [RESOURCES]Youtube's Interesting collection of bitcoin and blockchain videos on: April 13, 2020, 12:18:23 PM
Nararapat ito sa mga newbie na confused pa din kung ano ang blockchain at ano ang bitcoin. It is two different thing na confusing pa sa mga newcomer. What I like the most out of those videos suggested above is yung Bitcoin Trading Beginner's Course.

Naalala ko lang na madami akong mg videos na nakasave sa mobie phones ko nung nag uumpisa pa lang akong mag aral ng trading. It helped me a lot in my journey, though mas maiintndihan nga natin kung may actual demo with explanations like videos.
1692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which will do better in this Economic Crisis ??? BITCOIN or GOLD ??? on: April 13, 2020, 10:38:35 AM
I both have gold and bitcoin but honestly, in times like this. I am cashing out some of my bitcoin in exchange to fiat money to sustain our financial needs to buy foods and other neccessities. But comparing those two, i have seen some news regarding gold when pandemic came;

The COVID-19 pandemic has made investors go crazy for gold so far this year.
Surging demand for the yellow metal has sent prices for gold higher, bucking the trend of the broader financial markets which have tanked in recent weeks.

Also, it increases 2% again last week Possible that this gold will to combat economic issue with corona virus.
1693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why is Telegram associated with fraudsters on: April 13, 2020, 07:14:01 AM
Scammers in Telegram, well, there are scammers without Telegram, just why position a beautiful creation like Telegram with scammers, Telegram is a multi-functional tool with the ability to create a bot and a lot of other functionality, but as the question comes to do something useful through Telegram, many say telegram and there are scammers.

Simple. It's because there are lots of telegram users who are seeking for easy money. That is why scammers see telegram as an opportunity to run and attract other users for theire giveaways. Personally, I have encountered so much telegram style which is unconsciously scam.
  • Trading bot
  • Crypto trading signal access
  • Games with free crypto coins (can't even withdraw)
  • Crypto faucets
  • Giveaways

And many more. Be careful whom you talk to in telegram also. Most of them are giving some referral links or other url's that might be a phishing link.
1694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is not in healthy state yet on: April 13, 2020, 05:31:08 AM
More than half of the 2020 crypto conferences were either canceled or postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak, while mining manufacturers had to stop the equipment production in China, how good is this for crypto?

Obviously not a good situation right now. Anything was affected including cryptocurrency gains like mining. If you noticed, bitcoin's price is also hard to recover. It's like people are focusing on this dilemna and set aside other investments. But despite of this, there is still good news. Others may focus more about crypto trading like this one;
India increases volume in crypto trading because of covid lockdown. Seems positive for crypto but its still down in performance.
1695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YOBIT scam peoples in X100 ICO on: April 13, 2020, 12:45:20 AM
Nothing new, they seems to be like this since a long ago. So one who trust them especially with their trust box should realize their shady behaviour and stay away from it.

Based on their trading platform its just an OKAY exchange.

Seems they are still having an issue. I mean, they are trying to clear out their names but when actions like this then reputation seems not that cleared. Their project seems failed and they only wanted to gain by scamming people. Seriously, we don't just pick one particular exchange like yobit. We have to choose "trusted" and "established" exchange that won't scam users.
1696  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Simple trading advise for newbe that should follow on: April 12, 2020, 08:32:17 AM
In short, we should DYOR before deciding to buy/sell a particular coin. The hype doesn't mean the coin is really profitable, bear that in mind. And as for newbie, do not afraid to make some mistakes or some losses. That's part of trading. Just trade amount that you only afford to lose. Experience will teach you to become a good trader. Do not just overconfident about your acquired wisdom as we know that learning is always a continuous journey.
1697  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wrong BTC Adress, copied from Binance's Dashboard on: April 11, 2020, 01:11:34 PM
Ive seen some issues like this. Copying wrong btc address. Binance isn't responsible about that .1 you have sent to the wrong address. You have a malware inside your phone or pc. Maybe you have downloaded some malicious app or click some malicious sites containing this malware which you will copy pasted wrong btc address. Unfortunatelty, if the transaction was successful, you can't get back that .1 btc.

Haven't you triple check your btc address before sending it out? This maybe a lesson learned not just for you but to everyone here.
1698  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Difficulty choosing a trading platform on: April 10, 2020, 02:52:56 PM
You have to consider so many things in choosing a trading platform. Look for it's good reputation, it's security and a good platform. I usually trade in Bitmex, Binance, Tokenomy and so far they never failed me. Especially that most of the time I used mobile phone in trading, thus those were compatible and mobile friendly.

On top of that,  Binance is one of an easy to use trading app. Or you can check some of trading exchanges which also offer good performance with low fees.
1699  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: The New Bilibit Project Proposal for Pinoy on: April 10, 2020, 01:06:33 PM
Maganda naman ang project na pinopropose mo. Parang meron ng gaming blockchain pero I am not sure yong about naman dito sa Pinas kung meron na. About naman sa ballot blockchain for election, although maganda ang hangarin mo dahil this will give fairness election at convenient data, maaaring hindi pa ito ipatupad sa ngayon. Medyo komplikado kasi kung about sa election blockchain. Siguro focus ka sa gaming blockchain.
1700  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [Updated]Philippine SEC warns of crypto Ponzi Scheme on: April 10, 2020, 11:08:31 AM
Nung January pa nung huling nabalitaan ko tong website ah. Nagpost pa ako dito about yang Bitcoin Revolution scam na yan. Unfortunately mukhang up parin ung mga website nila, di kinaya ng reporting powers natin.

Topic: Bitcoin Revolution Scam https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5221799

Oo nga naalala ko nga na may mga website sila na nireport na. Yon pala ay on going pa din sila at may mga nabibiktima pa din sila for sure. Hindi paba natututo ang mga kapwa natin Pinoy sa mga ganitong networking scheme?

And to think na ginagamit nila ang bitcoin to scam people.
