I was just having a read through the threads and from what I can ascertain, some clarity might be beneficial. Here are some questions that spring to mind:
1. Who are the main developers of FIBRE currently involved in the project? 2. What is the main 'official' thread, is it this one or the other 'takeover' one? 3. Are there any exciting developments planned, or being worked on re features and updates etc? 4. Maybe we could outline a simple definitive list of the positive features / unique attributes of FIBRE here just as a few simple bullet points listed for any new potential investors and adopters? 5. Some mentions on the exchange trollboxes might go a long way to generating some additional interest?
I just thought the above might be helpful. Any thoughts?
Cheers
1. Project leader is Killakem, developer from the posts above contacted him already 2. This is official thread 3. SuperNET tech being added to it in the future, finishing FibreLock v2, finishing CoinShuffle, there are a lot of features already 4. FibreDark(Tor), FibreOS, FibreConnect(Encrypted Messaging), FibreLock(wallet security feauture), Unfinished CoinShuffle... 5. Fibre needs developer first

So wait, this currency works on dev4hire basis? I really don't understand the logic here.
I will continue working on Fibre codebase, but I would like to co-ordinate with Mxxxxxx and anyone else, and if development is already happening, I am sorry for stepping on the dev's toes
That`s something new, just read it lol Sent you PM. The best would be to contact Killakem who is project leader and Fibre representative in SuperNET. Regards

The tide is turning, last few hours/days until the fibrecoin sale ends, Check out bittrex and poloniex for more details ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) One day this will happen...Until then we wait and buy cheap. Hopefully this day comes fast, I think a lot of FIBRE holders would like to hear something about future developments, it's awfully quiet around FIBRE Unfortunetaly there is still no developer who would like to continue the code development As soon as we find someone we will let you know

Happy new year!
I compiled fibred from source and when I run it, it shows these 2 lines: `Jan 02 11:24:38.614 [err] tor_assertion_failed_(): Bug: tor/memarea.c:127: alloc_chunk: Assertion realign_pointer(res->next_mem) == res->next_mem failed; aborting. Jan 02 11:24:38.614 [err] Bug: Assertion realign_pointer(res->next_mem) == res->next_mem failed in alloc_chunk at tor/memarea.c:127. Stack trace:`
And nothing else.
Any idea?
Hmmm didn`t see this before, maybe some linux operator can help https://github.com/fibre-team/fibre-public

We will bring some new developers in time and SuperNET team, Blitz team will help for sure too We are not going anywhere Refreshing to read project leaders speaking the truth for a change, well done!!
Times are tough but I think BLITZ & BDN & SuperNET are in for the long haul, so if FIBRE has a part to play helping those three it'll do well in the long term.
LondonMP you were the only who contacted, it is still fine, we will handle things Cheers and thanks for kind words Hi mxxxxxx, you are most welcome, i have been staking my fibre and slowly adding to my position over the last couple of months. I ll be more than happy to contribute to any future plans that you may have. In the meantime, your dedication and hard work for Fibre is greatly appreciated ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) . Any news on fibre lock 2 ? When will this be implemented into the new wallet? After there will be new developer probably, for now only proof of concept wallet

There is 105 people in #fibre channel on SuperNET slack and more than 1000 people in #general channel, not much talk in fibre channel though now
|
|

We are on slack everyday, yes i think too it should be used only for announcements but for sure websites, twitter, reddit are better places

killakem [12:28 AM] Yep, things are slow because the dev team that brought all the great tech are busy with life. Myself and Mxxxxxx are still here and working on things in the background. Fibre faces the same problems that most crypto coins face, its hard to keep developers interested. We would start a campaign for donations but we have been there and done that, people do not want to contribute. We actually have a meeting this weekend to discuss the future of Fibre, the direction of the project, funding, attracting developers and other things. Fibre will soon be rolled out on the new BDN that will give us access to a wide array of wallets including but not limited to Chrome app, Android and IOS. Blitz is going to build its own developer community for the BDN and any apps developed for the BDN will be simple to implement for Fibre. If anyone has any ideas or wants to help out, either with man hours or donations PM me

Forking successful ! ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) So we switched to the PosV3 modifier on block 90000 and also switched to 60 second block times. Since the masternodes will need to be updated for instantx and darksend, I am also working on implementing the rest of the changes for PosV3. We have a lot of good mind's helping out along the way, and I cant thank them enough. What we're doing now is working through the dash files, and comparing them to what we're running now and trying to match everything and get darksend and instantx working properly. great work ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) PM was sent ALSO Masternode voting was implemented, masternode.conf fixed AGAIN. Donation addresses for masternodes implemented The only thing really left to do to get in line with dash 0.11.2 is to get darksend and instantx working properly Amazing work Infernoman ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) People like you are exactly what crypto needs!

Just got off the phone with the darksilk dev after a 12 hour skype call. To say the least we got a LOT done today. another 1000+ lines of code, and working our way further into the dash commit.

mxxxxxx any news on fibre?
These are the latest 1. Link to the latest official wallet 3.5.2 is updated http://www.fibrecoin.com/getstarted/https://mega.nz/#!CsVQTKKY!SmxxNiuRIHyeacIXbX3ltfcz10Sjs1ztfLWWCwGzDUU2. Here you can test new proof of concept wallet with FibreLock v2 - latest security innovation from Fibre - mouselogger, keylogger and bruteforce proof! as of now with todays computing powers We are very proud as no bugs or security issues were found in FibreLock v2 code which is also open sourced http://www.fibrecoin.com/news/fibrelock-v2-next-generation-wallet-security/!!! Remember please to test proof of concept wallet with FibreLock v2 on new clean wallet.dat as you won`t be able to unlock old wallet with new method until Mammix2 combines them both methods in the coming wallet3. The next step, after new wallet comes handling both methods, is integration of FibreLock v2 in BTC wallet to introduce it to the world and maybe if lucky to get some review from BTC devs 4. We are in process of integration into SuperNET Multigateway http://multigateway.org/ which means you will be able to trade with Fibre on NXT Asset Exchange and it means also integration to InstantDEX http://instantdex.net/ SuperNET decentralized exchange is close ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) If possible Fibre will be integrated into MGW with next SuperNET lite wallet release 5. Jl777 developed much improved coinshuffle version which is handling all problems known to the anon world so far! and what we consider will be the best anon implementaion in the crypto world so far and what is most important the code is compatible with Fibre ^^ Cheers Anything new ? Been awhile since I have seen any posts....Just keeping things up to date....A lot of new investors come to bitcointallk to look for coins I just like to keep the thread moving a little.
Not yet, working still on next release, we don`t want to give any ETA to not disappoint Bct is not the best place to look for longterm investors...but feel free to spread any info about Fibre anywhere https://slack-files.com/T02PXPVUF-F03DM47DB-f06e9352fdWe already delivered more things than most of coins out there Thank you mxxxxxx for the update. I just have 2 questions just out of curiosity that I would like to ask if you don't mind. Can Zerotrust and Jumblr be run from the same client at some point in the future? and secondly any ETA (I still like ninja launches ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) ) on superFibre and integration into instantdex (not sure if its the right name)? Hey LondonMP Still struggling with superFibre integration but it will be done for sure Jumblr is open sourced and while it is upgraded in meantime and integrated it will run from any compatible client with the code It will be available too in SuperNET and NXT clients
