1681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Brazil’s first Bitcoin law receives a green signal from Senate . on: May 08, 2022, 08:30:57 PM
When ever I see a regulation, sanctions or law on Crypto-currency, I help to wonders why we are moving backwards when the would is to be moving forward, it didn’t take me too long the Opportunities Crypto-currency offers so I am wondering how hard is it for the governments of countries to see all these benefits, El Salvador and so other countries has taking the bold step and that I applaud but when can we see a complete adoption? To me I think it would take a long time.
1682  Economy / Economics / Re: Looks like markets are crashing ! this is it ...it's the big one ! on: May 08, 2022, 08:17:26 PM
Looks like many Newbies are getting to see the other side of Crypto-currency. I just love the volatility of Crypto-Currency. It brings back the reality to many who feels crypto has made a promise to always go up. The Crypto-Market has started to go in negative way, and there are chances that it would continue in that way for a long while well from my experience which I always refer to as little I think isn’t all about hodl but it more hav to do with what you are holding so, I recommend do more inquirer on your coin to know if you holding or counting your losses.
1683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: May 08, 2022, 08:04:28 PM
I'm happy to see that my bet has won for the Betis - Barcelona game. It was in a parlay but still it felt good.  Grin  I bet on both teams to score and it won easily. And I'm happy to see that Barcelona won the game too as I'm supporting them in the La Liga.  Grin  And now, Atletico Madrid - Real Madrid game is going on. I see that Real Madrid rotated their squad quite much so this is a great chance for Atletico Madrid to become the winner against them. I'm not expecting any mistake from them and their victory would be a big hit to Betis too.
And with Barcelona victory it see them, having their spot in next year Uefa champions league, I think this is not a bad season at all for Barcelona with that knowing how the started the season and how many players the lost, injury crises, financial issues and other things that can hinder a club, so to me Xavi Hernandez has done a great job to keep Barcelona where they are right now and with that I am very hopeful of a great come back for Barcelona come next season.
1684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Women's participation into cryptospace - Increased? on: May 08, 2022, 07:50:33 PM
Firstly, we have to understand that Crypto-currency is based on anonymity and privacy. So I think going by that, it will be difficult to determine the exact gender of any Crypto enthusiast, with that I won't be surprised if we have more women than men in Crypto-currency. And Statistically if we want to go by that, there are more Crypto-currency enthusiast, influencers, promoters on social media like Twitter. This goes to show how knowledgeable females are in Crypto-currency.
1685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "NFTs are overrated, over valued and nothing but useless tech fetishism" on: May 08, 2022, 07:39:44 PM
I must be clear about this, in as much as I don't have any NFTS in my possession. I still believe that NFTs has some usefulness in Crypto-currency, I have seen videos, read articles and listened to stories of ordinary people whose lives were positively changed through NFTS. Although now, NFTS sector has been tampered with negatively by the influx of many projects wanting to launch their own NFTS, this has dropped a high standard that NFTS had created a long time ago.
1686  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: May 08, 2022, 07:24:47 PM
Concerning the rumors of the strike, firstly we have to understand that Asuu is not on any social media handle. So, I don't know how the news came about. We have to understand that we are living in a country where the government has little or no concern for it's citizens, and we have seen that the Minister of Education bought a presidential ticket worth 100million naira while it's university are currently shutdown due to lack of funds to pay lectuers. So nothing can amaze me in this country and I really hope that Crypto-currency will be a gateway for many Nigerians to survive especially the youths.
1687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: May 08, 2022, 05:58:12 PM
Indeed an interesting Sunday in the English Premier league today, Arsenal extended the lead in fourth place over Torttleharm by winning very stubborn Leeds united, with a two early goals from the Gunners. In the other games, Everton continued their good run of form by beating Leicester city and this helps their battle to stay in English top flight football. Then Manchester city had an infactic victory over Newcastle, this puts them in a good position to winning the English Premier League.

Good work mate, allow me to appreciate you good work which I am very sure you went through a lot of research for that I remove my cap for you, but is this our history or the history written for us. If you want to talk about Nigerian only currency I feel make we go beyond they history they wrote for us, did you know that we once made trade through trade by batter, this was what one old men been Dey do, before them push to the use of cowries and maybe precious resources like gold and so on. Make we try no the let this men down. They foundation of Nigeria started before we even got the name Nigeria. It won’t be an easy research but it would be an interesting one for citizens and non citizens.
1689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best coins to buy in bear market on: May 07, 2022, 09:27:35 PM
The best coin to buy during any market period has to do with personal experience or personal knowledge on crypto although there are people who believe in taking advice from all this Crypto influencers or expert, but let me tell you this very moment there are painful prize to pay using this method, with all this said my best coin to hold in the bearish market season and infact any other crypto-currency market period is Bitcoin, if you have noticed bitcoin has shown the most consistency in the crypto space and history has proven the bitcoin has a higher chance of surviving any bear market than any other coin.
1690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russians collectively hold about $130b in crypto on: May 07, 2022, 09:12:15 PM
This Is huge especially from a country everyone is trying to distance themselves away from even so many crypto affiliated companies, I think right from time Russia has been interested and involved in the digital world so am not surprised that at this moment they are holding that amount.
But what does this signify, firstly we have to note that by this it means Russia are a crypto-Currency crazy country and this leads me to ask does sanctioning a country even it’s innocent citizens from carrying out their crypto-currency activities.
1691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: May 07, 2022, 09:01:06 PM
Do I think the English premier league title is settled with Liverpool draw today against Tottenham hotspurs? Well no, with Liverpool playing 35 matches and are currently at number one spot waiting to see what Manchester city would do in their next game, I think they still have a chance, Manchester city aren’t know for much slip ups but this is football any thing can happen so I would say Liverpool should just concentrate and see out the remaining matches the have and it would be best they come out victorious in them.
1692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2021/2022 on: May 07, 2022, 08:49:37 PM
It was a very exciting English Premier league weekend today, and everyone can attest to that. Here are some of my best game : Chelsea vs Wolves was a very exciting game, nobody saw Chelsea playing a draw in that match but some careless actions from most of Chelsea led to Wolves coming back from 2-0 down. Manchester united on the other hand had a rough time out with them loosing by 4 goals-0 even with Christian Ronaldo on the pitch.
1693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will it happen ? on: May 06, 2022, 09:34:03 PM
Let me begin by tell you this is the Alternative Cryptocurrency board, and your message may not be in line with the focus of this board, and it’s hard understanding you are you talking about we encouraging -Newbies- in Bitcointallk forum or encouraging them in crypto-Currency generally, nothing is easy mate, and even as a newbie you truly have to be ready to play your part and that’s work. Many successful forum members and even crypto-currency enthusiast worked very hard personally any encouraging was additional motivation to an already burning fire.
1694  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: May 06, 2022, 09:08:03 PM

I get where you coming from mate, but take for example you aspire to become a hard working lecturer or teacher in this country of low income and you have family to carter for. Then you happen to write a text book, with your experience and numerous research. You fixed a price and only for you to have people photocopying your work to have it for free or at a low price, I personally feel e go hurt anybody. Although I don’t know how NFT would solve this issue, but since the world is becoming a digital village, and the advent of crypto-currency has digitally tackled some issues with traditional finances actives, I hope something would come up in future.
1695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Semifinals! on: May 06, 2022, 08:15:58 PM
And now we are heading towards the UEFA champions league final between Liverpool and Real Madrid, it has been an exciting tournament and we have seen lots of goals and action and this two teams has been the best teams so far. But on a personal ground If am asked the team to win, I will say Liverpool because so far the match is building up to the final, Liverpool has always had a better control over their opponent than Real Madrid. But I will be expecting a very competitive game but I think Liverpool will just have the edge over Real Madrid.
1696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin teaching approach on: May 06, 2022, 04:37:19 PM
We are from the same country mate, so I understand what program you are running, firstly you probably dealing with teenagers and from my experience with them it require apt concentration and good follow up, teenagers are very curious especially to the easy way out and most time it’s the back door. I once talked to a group of teenagers in my street about Bitcoin in a hurried manner and rather than be interested in the real value of Bitcoin they asked how they asked if Bitcoin can be used in a negative way (Scam) not until I settled down and gave them a true lecturing of Bitcoin and crypto. My first advice to you is to let them know that what the underworld and streets has painted bitcoin as isn’t what it’s really meant for, explain to them the dangers of using Bitcoin negatively this is very important and never shy away from it. And they rest of the lecturing is based on your experience and research.
1697  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: May 05, 2022, 07:53:20 PM
Well this na one of my small thoughts, this isn’t a professional thought or one that is coming from an expert, but guy we know the high level of piracy in Nigeria and beyond. Now we have the seen coming of NFT, this aspect of crypto-currency don open many opportunities, so I go Dey speak in regards schools, how e go be say text books and handout are ran via NFT format? I personally know how many text books I don’t buy especially those from Nigerian authors that are pirated, photocopied and what have you, so do you think having a text book in NFT format can help reduce the high rate of piracy even if it’s to the nearest minimum.
1698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's the year 2018 over again on: May 05, 2022, 07:43:31 PM
It seems we are already in a bear market but how far can this go? A year or two just like 2018-2019? Or this is a short term bear market? MMCrypto on youtube said that 30,000$ BTC is possible, if this do happens altcoins will bleed more than ever and this will unlock the beginning of the downfall of many altcoins.
In as much as I so much detest The bear market I always look at the brighter side, the bear market brings a complete red state for many crypto-coin and as always the bear market is a season that always pass by, but it is like a test that many fake coins, scam coin always fail, many of this low imitative coin takes the bull market to survive and get people in it, but the bull market comes by to put them in their place so the bull market is a season we shouldn’t really be scared of because it’s the genetical makeup of crypto-currency.
1699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Semifinals! on: May 05, 2022, 07:26:29 PM
Is Manchester city failing to win the champions league at their prime and forgetting the fact that no team stays up forever? Yea I think so, Manchester city are ripe enough to have won the UEFA champions league and with the quality of players, credibility of the coach and the pedigree of the financial power the hold, I think right now they would be wondering how they haven’t, what can they do to change their fortunes this question would ring in their head, and I won’t be surprised if pep in anguish decides to go on a sabbatical leave.
1700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reducing Bitcoin Transactions in El Salvador on: May 04, 2022, 05:55:52 PM
I don’t know about all this but let me ask you what is the purpose of Chevo, and you can tell me it’s just to give out money to people so they can use Bitcoin, Chevo should have a use and I am not sure maybe the people of El Salvador don’t really like it or probably there is an issue, I don’t know the statistics, but if the government of El Salvador are as friendly to crypto as the media is painting them then I believe their citizens would also have an interest in it, but we must also recognize El Salvador is still a developing country and many of them are average to low earners so the so this may affect the statistics.
