1681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if USDT falls down? on: August 16, 2023, 08:41:28 AM
It's a major misconception that USDT is as stable as dollars and it cannot go down, we have seen in the past when USDT has been dwindling and I am 100% sure still we have users holding huge amount in USDT without there no legally binding terms which says USDT will be equivalent to USD and there is no guarantor for this. I have seen USDT's value dropping by over 50% when there were speculations that crypto will be banned in India and this is a reminder for everyone that it can go down anytime it's no different that other crypto coins but can be used as a medium of transfer as it's not volatile but we shouldn't be holding huge amount here.
1682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON is bad coin, here is why on: August 15, 2023, 07:52:11 PM
TRON has failed to achieve what it was speculated and the worst part is it's development team who have miserably failed in advancing the ecosystem thus reducing TRON just as a payment chain while withdrawing or transferring funds as it's much cheaper compared to ERC chain. I wouldn't say it's a bad coin but would call it as a disappointment as this was projected to be competitor of ETH but couldn't even go anywhere closer to ETH.
1683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins profits or bank profits, which best? on: August 13, 2023, 06:42:36 PM
We cannot draw comparison between bank profits and Altcoin profits since these two are two different category as Bank interest rates don't surpass the inflation margin and returns are peanuts when compared with the profits one can achieve through Altcoin investment but one has to select the right altcoin and take considerable amount of risk. Usually those who go with bank are not the ones looking for huge ROI as they just try to preserve their asset and secure it for future wherein the ones invest in Altcoin are looking for a passive income or huge ROI with considerable amount of risk involved. These two shouldn't be compared.
1684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Free NFTs real or fake? on: August 13, 2023, 07:57:28 AM
Most of them are obviously fake but still you can give it a try as you never know which of them may turn out to be a real one and there is no harm in giving it a try out, though I have bunch of them pending in my trust wallet address which is of no use still we can give a chance rather than regretting, consider it as same shit coins or meme coins which has possibility to go ATH during bullrun.
1685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Binance indirectly manipulative by promoting Tokens? on: August 12, 2023, 08:05:27 PM
This has been modus operandi of Binance for a while now as they will have new tokens or tokens listed on other exchanges like gate.io etc and once the announcement is made about Binance listing the price of tokens sky rockets only to be dumped hard even to an extend less than what they were trending pre Binance listing. It's like playing with its users trust because we trust Binance and assume that if a token is getting listed in Binance then it would be worthy. We need to start doing more research instead of blindly following Binance.
1686  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should we rely on prediction? on: August 10, 2023, 07:50:35 PM
As a trader I don't usually rely on prediction since it's just a speculation and you may lose some dime if you have been FOMO. But if you'll check the bull run history of bitcoin I could say that this could be a pattern since it happened already not only twice but every 4 years bitcoin price bull run start so we could say that by the end of the year 2024 or 3rd month of the year 2025 we could see another bull run of bitcoin. the market cap of bitcoin is already huge so do some research what's the pros and cons of holding bitcoin in todays market price.

You are right, relying on prediction is a foolish thing as we have to check the historic trend of bull and bearish run to understand the pattern because once the bull run starts every random guy becomes crypto experts and throws random predictions. We should rather follow the market trend and act accordingly. Most of us lose money because we buy at peak due to FOMO and sell it at low due to FUDS.
1687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins that you trust most on: August 10, 2023, 07:30:51 AM
It's little difficult to trust any altcoins nowadays apart from the established ones and I personally would like to go with altcoins like ETH as we have seen Ethereum bouncing back after the bear market and we have seen how it pumped back from $60 - $70 post bear market we witnessed in 2018 and BNB (due to the fact that Binance is the largest CEX and as long as Binance is in the market BNB will be there). I am little bit skeptical to go with even established coin now due to recent events which has create panic in the market thus hindering the growth of geniune altcoins with good potential.
1688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are new altcoins being too risky? Current market trend on: August 08, 2023, 08:58:36 PM
Please share your opinion.
That a coin/token is top on the list doesn't mean it can't still disappear into thin air overnight. That shouldn't be a yardstick for picking a project to invest in. Well, maybe in the past so many of us thought it was the needed pointer but recent events over the past few years have proved that to be wrong. It's not a yardstick any more. Apart from Bitcoin, ETH, XRP (Nee Ripple), Dogecoin and Litecoin, other coins currently on the top 20 on the list weren't even there seven years ago. Most of those on the list then have either collapsed or are now not favourable investment picks any more as they've lost steam and are nowhere close to the top today.

On general, crypto investment is risky; whether with old coins or new ones they're all risky. Bitcoin isn't exempted from that risk too. The one advantage Bitcoin has over others is its ability to recover whatever dump it suffers during bear rally. Other coins may not survive the bad moment.

Completely aligned with your opinion, as we have seen some of the altcoins which were forecasted as the future like FTX, LUNA, Celsius & etc just shattered the life and investment of thousands of investors it became evident and yes Bitcoin is no exception but as you rightly mentioned it has ability to recover the previous dump and reach new ATH post bear run but patience is the key here since users especially newbie tends to sell everything due to FUDS and sometimes situation pushes the experts as well due to financial circumstances to sell at bear. In short I would says it's better to invest in top coins than random shitcoins.
1689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Are new altcoins being too risky? Current market trend on: August 07, 2023, 07:35:25 PM
I am active again after a while and a lot has changed but the apathy of tier two altcoins remains same and it's absolute sham because most of the tier two altcoins have hit rockbottom and to a point of no return and some trusted coins like LUNA, FTX, Celsius, and BlockFI etc where people have lost their life long savings and on the other hand we have tokens like Solano, XRP, XLM, BNB, ADA and Matic who are heading on path of recovery. It's clear that you go with top altcoins (even this involves risk like fate of LUNA, FTX, etc) though there are slight risk of losing but probability of losing everything is even more in other altcoins whose prices are dipped within few seconds after their launch. It's better to invest in established coins rather than newbies.

Please share your opinion.

1691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How would you measure your success in Crypto currency on: July 10, 2023, 02:47:01 PM
Many said its absolutely a scam, pathetic and more. but crypto currency has favored to those who trusted on it, In terms of cross border payment, p2p and vice versa the domination of crypto is keep on increasing. In terms of investment people knew only Crude, stocks, bonds, stock market, gold etc...but this platform made a way ahead to make money harder and smarter, I know most of the government's are not favoring this but in upcoming years you will see the green signal for crypto as well.

I personally feel it has changed most of us in our life, In terms of technology and development we every one know the way we are heading towards web3, metaverse, defi are remarkable. All credits to development of bitcoin Smiley I am earning this from as well, I never thought I would make much descent money in this sector. share your success as well thankyou Cheesy
1692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To all 100x hunters out there on: September 19, 2022, 08:22:15 PM
The market conditions that are still red certainly make many top projects also difficult to rise let alone up to 100x, this is common in new projects so I suggest for investing in new projects, I am lucky to get big profits because investing in new projects, this We are worth trying, and focus on the analysis before making a decision.

At the moment the market conditions will not be favouring us but we need to consider some of the most promising coins of the past like XRP, XLM and Litecoin which reached their peak in 2017 and then never reached those figures again till date and same will happen with existing top ten coins as OP is trying to explain it.

New projects are always risky since most of these projects are turning out to be a scam but just one good project can give us excellent profit.
1693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LUNA PUMP on: September 17, 2022, 05:49:34 PM
I would say take out your funds immediately and even when you hold it then set a stop loss of 5% so that you don't incur huge loss as this coin and it's team cannot be trusted anymore especially post what happened 4 months ago, it would be a foolish decision to trust this coin as already it has pushed so many to lose their investment and to the brink of poverty, regardless of the pump it will not gain it's lost reputation. It's becoming really difficult to find a reliable coin except the good old altcoins and bitcoin.
1694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Wont Sell his Bitcoin on: March 17, 2022, 10:02:08 PM
Nobody really cares about his opinion anymore as he is just manipulating the market for his own gain and his doge magic days has been surpassed long time ago and now we don't even see slight fluctuations or pump in the market after his tweets since he just tried to either create FOMO or panic sell situation.

We as a crypto community should not give more importance to people like him who play with our emotions sometimes and make is take wrong decision.

1696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Centralised Exchanges are the Biggest Enemies of Bitcoin on: March 06, 2022, 10:05:13 PM
Technically you are right but practically we cannot depend on DEX as they not only need to improve the UI but also they need more volume as the volume is key issue over here wherein CEX offers more trading pair and also huge volume along with user friendly interface which drags us towards them through the basics of CEX like KYC itself is against the principle due to which bitcoin was created.

When volume is lesser in DEX we don't get to buy or sell at market price or its even manipulated by some whales who hold a good volume which is enough to turn the tides their way, these things needs to be fixed before we expect users to start using DEX.

1697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi network on: March 06, 2022, 11:53:06 AM
Stop wasting everyone's time as this token has made no development in the years and just by running some quiz or contest they cannot claim that to be development steps as they have already wasted the prime years of mobile mining based coins.

Even if they want to start with development still it would be really difficult to win back the trust of community since they had been expecting further progress since year which still stands at zero.

Please refrain from making such misleading post in the future since this can be reported.
1698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto prices are starting to strengthen again on: March 05, 2022, 11:49:27 PM
Coinmarketcap reports that today the 10 largest market cap crypto assets have started moving back into the green in the last 24 hours.
Honestly, I will not really rely on the rising progress of the crypto market. Because this will be only for temporary, not fr long term rising up. I am sure that there will be again the market correction which is worse sometimes. That is why we are better not to be too happy in facing this kind of market situation

Like what happen now, some of the coins are increasing and some keep decreasing. Bitcoin itself is still under $40k, too bad to know this moreover a few days ago the price could be more than $44k.

But how can we expect the market to be in green everytime? Fluctuations will continue forever unless it's an stable coin and i understand bitcoin's price is still under $40k and it's finding really difficult to cross $50k which is a negative sight for sure but at the same time we need to remember how bitcoin was in bear market for almost three years and bounced back so we shouldn't be bothered as bitcoin was struggling around $32k but it reached $44k within last two weeks so we should consider the positive events as well.
1699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't lock your tokens away on: March 05, 2022, 09:39:50 PM
It's must to stay updated and active on the communication channels of the particular token which we invest into because we have seen some coins have changed the chain or even relaunched themselves with new names, i would say there was a token named GMD which was swapped with a token named COOP at approx 1:4 ratio and then again it was changed back to new GMD, some bounty hunter who decided to hodl the token were not aware reached out when it was too late to do anything. When deadline was breached.

It's better to stay active on telegram groups of the particular token. As an investor or someone who is hodling the tokens it's a must to stay updated on all sort of news and updates about the token's performance as well to avoid being scammed as well. I would say don't lock any tokens for an extended period of time.
1700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: According to Bill Miller, the collapse of Russia's currency is good for Bitcoin on: March 04, 2022, 10:08:03 PM
Indeed it's a gain for Bitcoin as the elite and rich Russians would convert their savings into Bitcoin due to uncertainty and fall of Russian Ruble and this conversion of asset to bitcoin will come back to them with a good appreciation if the market is good and moreover even if the Ruble falls even further then those who have converted it into bitcoin would have more even when they cashout.

Elites will be able to get benefitted by this but what about poors or the one who don't have additional funds like the elites, they will still be suffering, i think it's bit embarrassing to focus on bitcoin's gain due to war when this war has brought misery for millions.
