1681  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🎁Welcome Pack on BetFury| 💸300 Free Spins + 150% Deposit Bonus on: December 07, 2022, 10:51:22 AM

Precisely, I was wondering the same thing, it scares me, are all casinos like that? because I live in a residence where I share my internet with some neighbors, we do that here to help us share expenses, but I have told them about bitcoin, and I have told them that I really like casinos, more duelbits, my question is the following :

If my neighbors get into Betfury, and they play by chance, if I enter to play, is that worthy behavior to be or have a ban? even though it can be shown that each one entered from their personal computer or from a phone that did not have internet data and took the same IP address?

That's a grey zone in my eyes but can probably be seen as breaking the terms. It will be best to go into livechat and ask it, they are best placed to answer this question.

More than one account per IP address is breaking the ToS! It can be a grey zone in situations like this one, but a dedicated VPN will solve this, with some additional expenses of course. If you catch some nice holiday discounts (I saw there are some nice ones ) you can get one pretty cheap and be safe with everything you do in the crypto space cause I guess this is not just a problem with crypto casinos, many other crypto services have the same rule.
1682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you pass stakes proof of income verfiication? on: December 06, 2022, 05:11:13 PM
I am not a high roller so I guess I won't be included in this one.
But I am kind of curious about those who will need to fill this up. Will there really be a problem since there must be a source of where the money is coming from?
About the deposit from the other gambling site. This is something else, I think it can be explained as to why you are transferring it to them.
One good reason that I could think of is the lack of availability of the games you like on the old platform that you are using.
Showing proof of it might help. I mean, who doesn't like new customers?

Well, I am not a high roller as well, so I think I would pass this "income verification" easily. By the way, this is the first time I see this type of verification needed in any crypto casino, but I guess by some "regulations" casinos can ask some players about the source of funds.

New casinos like new customers, but if they need to follow some rules it's not up to them whether will they accept all deposits without additional verifications. I wonder what can trigger this particular verification, and what needs to happen that will make a Stake team act and ask someone to provide proof o income...

Portugal - Switzerland

Both Teams Score

Morocco - Spain

Both Teams Score

I have a bet on Morocco vs Spain "both teams to score", Morocco showed they can play excellent football and I believe they can score against Spain as well.
Portugal and Switzerland will be a nice game, and I guess the chances for both teams to score are pretty nice.

Well, I like the odds and I decided to place a bet:

I also have a bet on Spain and Portugal qualifying... I am not sure if that will happen in the regular time. After all, Maroco is yet to lose during the cup, and for sure we can underestimate Switzerland.
1684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is pay to earn considered gambling? on: December 06, 2022, 09:07:52 AM
It's gambling from one part and a competition from the other part.
When a group of friends come together I challenge themselves using money ( winner takes it all ) we easily consider this as a gamble.

It's a competition and if the competition requires buy-in and there is a prize for the winner (and/or for second and third place) we can call it "more serious competition with serious & skilled players". It's not about earning money, it's about participating and playing against good players, it's how you sharp your skills.

when it's more international where a company decide to bring top players together to compete and win a price we all call it a competition but honestly it is still a gamble 🎰.

By these words every sport or every activity is gambling! Someone spends money (a lot of money) to learn and later earn some money (a tennis player or engineer), but the question is will he ever learn enough to be good enough to start earning from that?

More than once I wrote that gambling can be everything, when you invest yourself (in any way) and you hope for more you are gambling! But let's not be so tough, we can't classify everything like pure gambling, sometimes it's about the competition and learning more from participating.
1685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does anyone know anything about YoBit? The exchange? on: December 05, 2022, 08:17:39 PM
I didn't see anyone mention Yobit in a while... From time to time I get some email from them, always with some crazy APY investment, I should definitely unsubscribe!

As others have said, Yobit is a bit shady! They are still in the business, we can wonder how and why, but if you care about your money this exchange should be avoided. For people who like to take risks with "crazy high" APY's and many pump & dump schemes, this is the right place.
1686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 05, 2022, 05:02:04 PM
HT: Jepang 1 - 0 Croatia

Until the first half ended, Japan pressed well enough so that the Croatian players had difficulty developing attacks into the penalty box area. Luka Modric did not appear to be the creator of the attack as the Japanese players pressed hard before reaching the penalty box.

Croatia dominated possession but only managed one shot on target in the first half, while Maya Yoshida and Shogo Taniguchi were solid defensively. Japan started to attack in the 40th minute, Daichi Kamada had some good opportunities which he was unable to capitalize on to score, luckily in the 43th minute Daizen Maeda was able to score for Japan in the first half.

Croatia has managed to score in the 2nd half and this match is now level. Anyone can score a score at the dying stages of the match and for sure they will be the winner. But I do not see any real urge from both teams to press hard at the opponent and it seems both teams are comfortable to go in the extra time. If this happens it will be the first time in this world cup that we shall see the match result in extra time and/or through plenty kicks.

Well, I had a feeling that both teams will score:

I won my bet, and I placed another one, "draw" in overtime at x1.75. I think we will watch penalties... I was thinking to combine "draw" with Japan or Croatia to win, but penalties are such a gamble! Smiley

And I have a bet on Brazil to win & over 2.5 goals, I even expect Korea to score, but I wasn't sure about that enough to place a bet on both teams to score.

Brazil is one of the best bets generally in worldcup terms I can remember there being so I'd side with them but perhaps some more upsets before the end, it should be diminishing over time as teams are more settled.
I see Odds 1.07 outcome bets for Brazil in Freebitcoin, only a little profit if you bet for Brazil, in Freebitcoin we only have a button to bet to choose both teams or series, hoping in the future for soccer betting can also be provided a kind of betting score or betting other in the match in order to be able to seek other benefits

Well, 87% of people placed a bet on Brazil winning, and only 13% believe that Korea can win. Everything is possible in football, Korea plays good football and I think reaching the 1/8 finals is already a success for them. But they got a tough opponent and I doubt that they will be able to match Brazil.

I agree with more markets there can be more fun, but there are many other places that are specialized in that. Freebitcoin is a little different and I like it.

https://giphy.com/gifs/fZMsq7NoDvPxEWJvSQ

I also like some old street and card games, but the question is how provably fair these games can/will be. I guess we all know, or at least we have seen it in some movies, how people try to exploit vulnerabilities of some gambling game and how the "house" provides themselves a higher edge, there are tricks on both sides.

The bottom line is simple, nobody can grant you a "fair online street game". Why there is no online chess gambling?
1689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would be an ideal KYC solution? on: December 04, 2022, 12:01:17 PM
Naturally I m not against kyc and for me kyc is the best because to avoid thefts and money laundering. Besides as a gambler one thing you must do is to get your identity verification ready as those sites may request for kyc. Now why are you afraid, did you stole any funds or do some Billion dollars and why should kyc be a thing of talk or though time.

Quote
In 2010, Wachovia Bank, now part of Wells Fargo, was one of the biggest banks in the US when authorities discovered it had enabled Mexican cartels to launder an estimated $390 billion between 2004-2007

We, fair players, are at risk if we have to go through the KYC procedure in each casino and leave our personal and sensitive info on each of those sites.
KYC is full of flaws, it didn't prevent money laundering and theft before, and it won't work now in the crypto. So I don't feel that I'm "more" protected if a site has mandatory KYC, and I don't think it's in the spirit of crypto.

The ideal KYC solution is what we have now, we can play without KYC in many casinos, and as long as we are playing fair nobody will ask anything. But suspicious activities should trigger KYC. Definitely, it should be clear what is "suspicious activity" is, we all know that some sites dispute big winnings that way and don't pay them out. Just saying that someone is suspicious shouldn't be enough, but even that is a tricky part because of confidentiality they can't share sensitive info. So whom to trust in the end if we don't know everything we need to know?
1690  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you think the market will take to recover? on: December 03, 2022, 05:17:23 PM
there is a small recovery happens this december as bitcoin finally broken 17k again and looking at it now? seems that there is a chance to remain this position or at least going more up for this month and the end of the year?

but how long to recover from the losses since the last ATH? then this will take long in my humble position because we knew that Halving mostly is the timing when the market make its way up.

Halving is definitely a trigger, but big things happen only in a year after halving, so I think that 2025 has the potential to be a crazy year that will bring a lot of excitement. Until halving, I don't think we will see some bigger movements from this price, in both directions, and if it happens it will have a short breath. Of course, if history repeats itself once again, and many of us think it will, at least we think there are good chances for that.

Is there an email address to contact Chris Butler?

He was active in Gosu chat on Telegram before, now he is probably active in the BC.game official group. "I Am Chris // (Only My Impersonators Ask For Money. Don’t Send.)" is/was his nick.

  -  It's fine to make an allegation on something as long as you have enough evidence to prove what you say, mate, but if it's just verbal without any proof, it will appear that you are the bad one and what you say is wrong.

You should also show any proof like in the screenshot, or your account on the gambling platform that you did something bad, as you say here.

Bit hard to make any screens and proff when you exclude people from logging in and see the social media.

To be honest, I don't understand how you got excluded, and for what reasons, on the site and their social media channels! Did you try to contact support, you can share a conversation with them... together with other important stuff, like what really happened! Full story, not like this...

And there's a special section for making accusations: Scam Accusations!

1692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: under-age gamblers on: December 03, 2022, 10:12:13 AM
...
I think I read somewhere that people under the age of 18 still have an underdeveloped brain. So, could gambling underage affect them more? Likely yes, but even young people can be responsible. I'm not saying to send your kids out to gamble, but if the child was raised right they may gamble responsibly. That's obviously not a guarantee.

When I had 14-15 years it was pretty normal to see a group of teenagers in some little casino. But those were different times, now the laws are much stricter. Now kids are looking for someone older who is willing to place a bet for them.

Surely our brain is still underdeveloped at that age, we have just started to learn about the world around us... and surely "forbidden things" are always more interesting and much more attractive. At that age "everything" affects us more, teenager's sensitivity which gets us into various problems and because of which we all made some mistakes (smaller or larger)... so it's the time when we start learning about self-control and responsibility.
1693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happen to Bytecoin on: December 02, 2022, 08:45:46 PM
The same thing happened to many other projects... it went into oblivion. I remember this project through a fog, as well as many other projects and their coins/tokens I had. After +8 years in crypto, it's hard to remember them all... or impossible is a better term here, there were too many of them!

Without some significant updates, and with a lack of enthusiasm from developers, any project is doomed to fail. I guess that happened with Bytecoin, as with many other projects.
1694  Economy / Gambling / Re: Poker tournaments why tournaments in other games on: December 02, 2022, 07:03:44 PM
I believe the Betnomi poker tournament will come around soon if going by the usual way of operation the casino also conduct a poker tournament around this period of the year, but we must also expect to see other casinos introducing tournament for either poker or other games that players may find interesting.

But until then always participate in tournaments that are organized by reputable casinos betnomi is one of the such reputable casino for poker rounds.

If you're referring to the Betnomi poker series, I don't think we will see that again. As I wrote in their thread a few months ago, there is no more enthusiasm... It started well, some people decided to sacrifice their time to edit the spreadsheet for free (calculate points, follow every game even when they are not playing, and keep track of everything), with sponsorship the final table was more than +ev for those who qualified... Despite all the good things, there were not enough people interested!

I participated in the Betnomi poker series, and before that in the Bitcointalk poker series. The unique concept and some people made it even more amazing with additional stuff like free tickets, lottery tickets, kicking out a selected player for additional reward, and some other stuff. I don't believe we will have something similar in the future.
1695  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chipstars - Hybrid Casino (Crypto & Fiat) on: December 01, 2022, 05:11:21 PM
Just as a matter of interest... is this the token that they were going to use for Chipstars.bet? ==> https://thebittimes.com/token-CHIPS-BSC-0xa1ebe75ca488afaf0b181c2f4e09c414861ac8e2.html

Well, if it is...... then nothing is happening with the token, because there are absolutely zero transactions.  Roll Eyes

They are still offering Bitcoin (BTC) deposits, so they did not abandon Crypto currency deposits. See below :

"Every player has the ability to deposit, withdraw, and play with funds in Euro (EUR), subject to minor restrictions which may be imposed by some payment methods. Players can also optionally keep money in US Dollar (USD), Swiss franc CHF, Bitcoin (BTC)."

Source : https://chipstars.bet/payments/payment-details-policy

Ps : I think the marketing team forgot about this thread... so the mods must just close it to prevent more necro posting. They can open it again, if they are serious about Crypto currencies.  Roll Eyes

OP was Online today, so I send him a reminder of this thread. Let's hope he respond....

Edit: Oh, I made a mistake, I mixed Chips and Chipstars.

I read somewhere that Chipstars has its own token, I didn't get anything by playing, I am not sure if it works at all!
1696  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⭐ BTCGOSU ⭐ THE ULTIMATE BITCOIN CASINO GUIDE ⭐ CRYPTO AFFILIATE OF THE YEAR 🏆 on: November 30, 2022, 08:08:28 PM
Metaspins has gambling license from Curacao. They have some kind of KYC rules and you have mentioned it in the detailed review too. But, why you written "KYC - NO" in the info part of Metaspins review?

I wanted to echo this as well, the requirements of the Curacao license is to have KYC, you can play around with the amounts when it's triggered, but there has to be a KYC.

Huge fan of BTCGosu btw, spoke with the team a few weeks ago and just now discovered this thread Smiley

I have a few deposits/withdrawals from Metaspins, without KYC. And I can't complain about speed, they are quick!

Many casinos have a Curacao license and many of them do not require KYC, it's not like it's mandatory in every casino with a Curacao license.

What still confuses me is how I can play Pragmatic without a VPN only at Metaspins and Chipstars. Pragmatic was unavailable for me, and still is, in most crypto casinos! But I can play it freely in these two mentioned... I'm not complaining, I'm good with it, just wondering where's the catch, how is that possible?
1697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 30, 2022, 05:33:50 PM

By the way, yes, I also had the thought that if France just allows itself some rest before the Round of 16 matches, that's how you can bet on the favorite here, I wouldn't even be surprised that France can concede and Tunisia has a real chance here, but you need to look at the starting line-up of the French and Mbappe is announced there, so it seems that they are still serious and do not consider the match with Tunisia a passing one.

In the end, the favorites lost! Big win for Australia, as I said I doubt that Denmark will wake up, and Tunisians won, not as it matters for ranking!

Crazy day today, and it's not over yet! Group C is still open, and Poland, Argentina, and Arabia can qualify in the next round, just if they play well tonight! Crazy or not, I think that Arabia can do something against Mexico tonight, and winning will grant them safe passage to the next round. While Poland and Argentina will have to fight against each other for that. I have a bet on Arabia, I think they can win, and "both teams to score" in Poland vs Argentina game.
1698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 30, 2022, 09:06:21 AM
Denmark might finally come to their sense and will have a great performance today. Australia only need draw & they will setup defensively and i think that's where they will lose the match.
France Should win comfortably , don't think Tunisia will give them any headache.

Well, seems so obvious, but I still didn't place that bet... The French team secured their first place, maybe they will rest some important players and play a relaxed game. And Tunisia has some theoretical chances to pass if they win with more than two goals difference (and it's very, very hard) and draw between Denmark and Australia.

And I am not sure about Denmark, I expected more from them definitely. Can they wake up before this match? I'm not sure about that, and Australia will not give up that easily. Anyway, it will be a tough game!
1699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I will support Elon Musk if he creates a stablecoin for Twitter on: November 29, 2022, 05:13:10 PM
Along Musk is a business man. And a brutal capitalist at that. He knows where the bread is buttered. And he know the stable coin bread is not buttered by any stretch of the imagination. So I you think that's his next line of action for Twitter, think again

Well, Elon has the means and the possibilities are somehow unlimited for him. We can speculate about his next moves, but that won't take us anywhere. Elon is an enigma and he has surprised us all too many times, in positive and negative ways.

I definitely agree that he is a brutal capitalist, and his actions are calculated to bring more profit to his company in the end.
1700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is The Gambling Industry Part Of The Domino Effect That Happens In The Market on: November 29, 2022, 09:28:06 AM
Quote
- Do you think The Gambling Industry Is Part Of The Domino Effect That Happens In The Market?

No. It's obvious that the crypto gambling industry has nothing to do with the crypto winter or crypto exchanges going bankrupt.

Definitly no! FTX has liquidity concerns and facing allegations regarding the misuse of customer funds. Crypto winter has nothing with that, as we can see other exchanges are working fine.

Quote
- Will the industry lose the trust of gamblers if one or two casinos scammed their players by closing down and running with what
money they have that belongs to the gamblers?

We have seen multiple cases of casinos scamming their players and/or turning into exit scams. So far, the overall trust in the crypto gambling industry hasn't been damaged that much.

You are right, but those scams can't be compared with exchanges, simply those casinos scammed people for millions of dollars and when it comes to exchanges the numbers are higher, +$100 million and in some cases billions.

Not sure if it's important, but there's always some very shady crypto casino around.

Quote
- As a gambler do you use gambling sites to store your coins like what traders are doing on exchanges?

No. That would be a really dumb thing to do.

Well, I always have some money in some casino! When we choose a casino where to play, shouldn't we have enough trust in them? We plan to make a deposit and gamble, and leaving some amount there is perfectly fine, after all, we shouldn't deposit more than we can afford to lose, it's gambling.

Quote
- What would gamblers think if a casino does not agree to show proof of money from new and old casinos

I guess that some of them will become suspicious.

Well, this is a tricky part. Many of us don't like KYC and all those regulations. If crypto casinos became fully regulated KYC will become mandatory, we will lose anonymity and all other things that make the crypto gambling world so attractive.
