1681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I invest in bitcoin casinos? on: January 15, 2017, 11:20:42 AM
Its not a bad idea as long as you are ready to trust online casinos with your BTC. Its a really good investment as far as I know coz, casinos are made for just one job. To make profits and its easy for them to do so.

Trust is a sensitive issue, unless you know the operator's real name , address and other few personal information then you cant "trust" that person literally . There has been many cases in this forum that few most respectable and trusted member decided to scam just for their personal reason. Money changed person to do unexpected things for sure

Well its a risk when it comes to investments anyways not only with casinos. And that's why we have to be a bit more careful and research about where we'll be investing our money on. We try to research on backgrounds and feedbacks of casinos that we're looking at. The risk is still there as as you've said, there's the scenario wherein the top people in that site will suddenly make it personal, but it's still way better than you playing in a casino.
1682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Sports Betting for You? on: January 15, 2017, 11:11:27 AM
I think people can have it both ways though and for me there are times when i'm serious about betting on sports while i'm  looking forward as well to watching the games i bet on. And a lot of people would have it this way also im sure. If you're doing it for the fun of betting and watching your favorite team then you'd be classified under both. Im not really much into making large bets so whether i care for the game or excited for it, its the same for me. I place low bets on games that im lookibg forward to watching every year like the nba plafoffs and ufc matches.
1683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for a living or a living for Gambling? on: January 04, 2017, 10:43:10 PM
Hi Everyone..!!!

Why are you gambling,  you do it for gambling a living or a living for gambling?
Please share your opinion.
Thanks in advance.

Actually gambling is not only a source of living . But it is also a way of fun and use money to grow in different way .
Overall I was usually made gambling just for fun and sometimes to return my loss in past gambling .
But at new year I left gambling . I hope I remain definite at my promise at the whole year .

Well it would be hard to make gambling a source of living as there are no sure way of earning from it. Living for gambling is just as bad as that means you are already addicted to it. It seems that with the two choices, they're pretty much the same as it means that gambling is a major factor in your life already. So might as well go with the gambling for a living as it at least in a way you're gambling professionally and without much emotions involved compared to when gambling is already your life.
1684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: January 04, 2017, 10:36:12 PM
I do it for both fun and money. It is fun to make money gambling  Wink But at the same time it can make people go greedy and take risky bets and lose everything in the process. So gamble with what you afford to throw away.
yes the only fun in gambling can be if you are making money in it, and gambling will become worst when you start losing money there, people claimed that they play gambling for fun without investing money, but i think gambling can only be enjoyed if there is money involved in gambling.
For me in the other games both lose or win can gives me fun and excitement and i think we are not all the same..
gambling is always involved with money and there is no gambling that it is not involved in gambling.
Human has different reason why they are gamble.. for me i am gamble in sports betting if i am not betting there is no excitement. so i gamble so that there is excitement because the team that i am betting i am following them..

You have a point there as it depends on the gambler's preference. There's nothing wrong with gambling for profit as everybody wants to earn money, and if you think that gambling can make this possible then gamble, as long as the money you're using is yours and you are not affecting other people's finances. This goes as well when you're only gambling for fun. Though this reasoning is a lot safer as there will be less emotions involved and it won't be hard for you to walk away, compared to when you're gambling and you're aiming to win a significant amount.
1685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamling with a high risk and high rewards or low risk and low rewards? on: January 04, 2017, 10:29:14 PM
If you are a gambler and have 2 option :
1. Put your money in high risk game with high rewards.
2. Put your money in low risk game with low rewards.
Then which one you choose?

Well I've always considered myself as a safe gambler so definitely it would be the latter choice. Low risk games gives you a better chance of recovering in case you end up losing. There's more control for low bets and it wouldn't hurt that much if you lose. I think high risk gambling are for people who have nothing much to lose or those who didn't really earn their money the hard way. Yes if you consider the rewards, then it would be a bit tempting to go for the first option but you're more likely to lose money there and when you lose, you lose a lot.
1686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your new year start in gambling! on: January 03, 2017, 08:51:35 AM
Hey guys!

Don't want to brag or anything but I had a freaking good 2017 beginning!! I hope it's the same for you  Wink

Transformed my 0.04btc from my sig campaign into 0.25 while btc was hitting the 1000$  Grin Grin Grin

That can seem as small amounts but it's not for me and I think it's like the first time I multiply my initial gambling amount by 5  EDIT: by 6 in fact  Cheesy !

Did anyone hit a jackpot on this begining of 2017?

Well congratulations dude. Hopefully this is an indication of how this yaer would be for you and hopefully for all of us. I haven't yet placed bets this year as i've lost quite a lot with betting in an nba game last christmas, and i'm still in the process of recuperation after what i've lost there. But hopefully your luck scrubs off on all of us here.
1687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can trading be considered as gambling?? on: January 03, 2017, 08:46:59 AM
I consider trading as a professional activity. It requires analysis, research and others knowledges. Gambling you just require luck. But yes, maybe there is a thin line between then. It depends on how you do trading.
Yes I agree with you that there is no doubt about this that gambling is a professional activity, trading can be consider as profession, because in trading you need good study analysis and trading skill with previous experience, while in gambling you need just your luck and nothing else.

However you gain knowledge and make trades, luck too is needed to give better profit. The person who get into trade over the past few days need just the investment to buy, the increasing price automatically gives the profit on selling. Here luck is the factor which decides the success. Whether gambling or trading, to certain extent luck is truly important similar to strategies made through researches.

Well i think lucks leans more on the gambling part than when you trade. As was indicated earlier, being a trader is a legitimate, serious profession as to being a gambler. Anyone could be a good trader by researching and having information about alt coins and how it moves. Your chances of earning also grows bigger the longer ypu're exposed to trading. While with gambling, this can also be appliccable but on certain games only. Though both is affected by how lucky you can be, trading puts a lot more control in your own hands
1688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you can control your self when playing gambling? on: December 26, 2016, 11:47:20 AM
In the past when i was still new in gambling i play in a casino even i win i still play, I only stop when i don't have enough money to bet. But through the years of gambling i was able to learn to stop or should i say control myself in order to win or not to lose everything. Sometimes even if i am lucky as long as i have enough profit i call it a day. Thus, the result i am positive profit from gambling.
Having a control in gambling can be proven if you have the ability to stop when you are winning or you are losing, it is necessary to minimize your loses and to stop with a profit, stopping all the time at a lose is not a good sign of a positive gambling activities, with it you will be accumulating big loses and might be frustrated towards your journey in gambling.
Same here. Well it' s good that in time you learned how to control yourself as not all people can have that kind of mentality. That means that you' ve become a responsible gambler and i think what you' re doing is healthy gambling. People should learn how to do this also as being a gambler nowadays receive negative outlook from other people. These people who don' t really control themselves and are gambling irresponsibly actually puts gambling in a negative light where in people like you who do have control should be emulated
1689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: December 26, 2016, 11:31:41 AM
it was just a wonderful game, thanks both teams for this amazing game, especially Cavaliers for the last quarter, they were behind during hole match, but they won in last minutes.

Cleveland Cavaliers are the best of best...
It was an amazing Christmas gift lol  Grin
Loved the last quarter,intense af...
At 24,Irving is just crazy, scoring game winners like nothing hah..amazing
Well, the warriors just made christmas extra sweet for cavs fans. Indeed it was an intense game and boy kyrie seems to be getting better and better in the clutch. And this is another had one to swallow for gsw as people are expecting them to go for the cavs' throats since this is the first time these two teams met after that fabled "3-1" finals series. Better luck next time warriors! I actually won a bet so i'm included in those people that the cavs made extra happy this christmas haha
1690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Turn Gambling into a Profitable Activity on: December 25, 2016, 03:58:06 PM
No how. Gambling can't give any steady income to anybody. But it can give steady outcome for addicted people. The one way for make some money that I can suggest about gambling is investing in a casino. I heard that this can bring good profit.
possible investments in gambling sites really can be an advantage very much, because the gambler is always there, especially if you are investing on the popular gambling sites.
gambling can not provide steady income to anyone, because the profits on gambling just by luck. the only way to change gambling into a profitable activity is a way to win, but it will be very difficult.
What do you mean by Investing in Gambling Sites? Do you invest literally on gambling sites like you earn a percentage on their profits? If that is what you mean I am interested in joining one, do you know any gambling sites that accept investors? Or what you mean by investing is putting all your money in bets? If that is what you mean then it is not investing you are doing but it is gambling.
yeah i think so as well. that's the only way we can be sure that we can have steady profit from gambling as you basically become part of the house. and i think it's a very good investments as casinos and gambling sites very seldom run out of profits. we just have to find ourselves a good site to invest on.
1691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be considered a "high risk investment"? on: December 25, 2016, 03:51:06 PM
Gambling is not a high risk investment. Investment is using your knowledge to make wise decision so that the returns with the probability calculated must heavily outweigh the risk to prove that the investment will be a sound one. On the other hand, gambling is not about making wise decision at all.
i think gambling is high risk for those people who have no experience and skill of gambling and having bad luck. but those people who have good experience in gambling with good luck gambling is really a good mean of earning money.
It always be a high risk even for those who has past experience in gambling even those skilled players who actually played gambling its not because of having bad luck but because of how you will make random bets and analyzing your game to own belief gambling is one of the most profitable source income just don't greed.
two things. first, gambling definitely is high risk. second, i don't think it's an investment. it never was and never will be. i like how lorylore described what investment meant at it really makes a whole lot of sense. thinking that investing is about putting your money on bets that rely mostly on luck is not a very bright decision.

1692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling trading or giveaway? on: December 25, 2016, 03:34:09 PM
if I prefer to trade
and how about you?
with the options that were presented, I'd go with trading. i think trading would be the most beneficial among the three. during my initial days with bitcoin, i mainly go here to gamble in dice and to do signatures. but as goes on, i was able to study trading a little, and I've realized that instead of gambling, trading would be a better and safer way to earn money. now i don't even notice dice buttons and i try to study more about the movement of alt coins to have an idea of what and when to buy
1693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know when to stop? on: December 25, 2016, 03:26:09 PM
When do you stop? Do you have a daily limit or something?
limits for me when gambling, if I had to get my capital back, and get a little advantage for me that's enough, because if we expect to benefit large, our emotions are not controlled and of course you will encounter many defeats, and make you experience the devastation and huge losses
yeah you're right. bad things start to happen in gambling when your emotions start to get the better of your judgment. so i think the best time to stop is when you feel that need to continue gambling even if you lost already all your capital or once you've won a pretty decent amount already. i think once you're beyond that time, and you still kept on playing, it would be harder for you to stop and as you said, you may very well end up with losing an unplanned amount of money
1694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how much bitcoin price now is affecting your bets? on: December 25, 2016, 03:12:07 PM
i was wondering how much do you change the size of your bets and for example your bankroll now that bitcoin price has gone up to ~$900?

i am usually getting more cautious about each bet and make smaller bets when price goes up just to match the price with the risk i take.

well truth is i seldom use my bitcoins now to make bets or to gamble in general. ever since the rise of bitcoin's price, I'm thinking more on saving the btc's I've earned for future use while hoping that btc would sustain it's rise. sometimes, i gamble with a few extra satoshis on dice but that's about it. i think I'm now being more responsible with the money that i hold Cheesy
1695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you gamble your (or your child's) school fund? on: December 25, 2016, 03:07:57 PM
No, because we can screw our future but damage our childs future its insane, i wont take any risk with the money that belongs to the childs, in fact i just risk sometimes a few satoshis, and those is from my earnings online, i dont use fiat to buy bitcoin, and i wont do that now, its too expensive for me already.

Well i think every responsible person wouldn't even think about gambling with your child's education. something as important as this should be left to chances and must be put to priority. for me even the earnings that i get from bitcoin, i try to save it for future use much more now that the price is surging. gambling is not at the same level of importance as education and bottom line is we need to make sure that important things doesn't get compromised in any way by unnecessary spending.
1696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What gambling method are you using for Dice? on: December 25, 2016, 02:43:20 PM
I usually use random bet's depends on my winning and my lose even though i always encounter 10 lose straight the techniques here in you need high balance before doing it to know when to bet higher amounts to get back your lose on game. Strategy is one of the most profitable when you know how to analyze bets on gambling.
The dice games are luck games no strategies will work here, I will also play this game randomly. I will not play auto play I will play manually so before picking any number I will calculate and play if I am lucky I will win my bet or else I will lose money. But I will play with the very small amount, so I can afford my loss. In dice game, you need a big capital to get back your loss, but still, i am not sure it will work or not. So better don't try to get back your lost just play and enjoy the game.
Well dice is a gambling type that doesn't have any use for strategy or technique. i don't think analyzing would also make that much of a difference if you're not lucky during the time you're playing. I think with dice, we just have to think about how much we're willing to lose on every roll. Sure your chances are at 50/50 but from experience, that chance leans more on the losing side. I seldom play dice anymore but when i do, i spend very minimal amount in it and it doesn't matter whether i win or lose on a roll, i only play with a specific amount strictly.

1697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: December 25, 2016, 01:26:14 PM
Golden State Warriors Vs Cleveland Cavaliers

It is very rare to have this big game at such an early kickoff. My bet is on under 223.5 points as both teams don't really score lots of points when they faced each other in the finals. Warriors don't really score. I remember Warriors losing to the Lakers 112-95 last season during early kickoff. Cavaliers defense will be stronger than the teams Warriors faced in recent games.
This is a great Christmas gift for us, I like this game and I have been waiting for this moment, this should be a very exciting game for all the NBA fans. Whoever wins this game, I just hope it will be a close game for us to watch and hopefully the cavaliers will win even if they are underdog at home with the current line.

Although yes this is gonna be some kind of a 'statement game,' don't expect the same intensity like they gave back in the finals. There's nothing big on the line here.
Its a gift to their fans who love supporting their teams just wanted to see whos much eager to win and the rivals between stars like kd and the plus the dominating guard such as curry an irving. Good luck

well let's see how these two teams will perform in this rematch. i think the warriors have a lot more to prove this time as losing a 3-1 lead in the finals is pretty hard to swallow. though it's going to be a lot different with the addition of Durant as this would be the first time as well kd will face the cavs in a different uniform. my bet's on gsw for todays game though. Cheesy
1698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling vs Real Gambling on: December 25, 2016, 01:17:23 PM
I think all forms of gambling have no differences, all the capital needs courage in placing bets and patience, intelligence thought we were the main power,
even to the level of emotion, I think online gambling with more buoyant than gamble with real

For some people playing wise may be same but it may be expensive since they can't reach casinos so easily. They need to spend extra money to go to the real casino so once in a while going to the real casino may be okay, but for regular players, it is not same. Online gambling is more convenient to access and play at our free time.
well it's a matter of experiencing the feel of real casinos and the convenience of accessing it at home. though you're right that most people can't really be in casinos at a consistent basis. gambling online is pretty much accessible to everyone so if you're purpose is just to gamble as is, the more practical option would be to just login to a gambling site and play there.
1699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you can control your self when playing gambling? on: December 25, 2016, 01:07:32 PM
While play gambling and lost, do you add more beting or stop play gambling? I always add more beting and deposit again, i can't control my self. Do you have suggesting for me?
If i already lost my first deposit i don't ever think to deposit again im not that kind of person that will chase my lost i just simple moved on and try again my luck next week. If you can't control your self by depositing again try to play those gambling website that has faucet.

well that's basically how it should be done. me too once the capital amount is already used up, that would already be a cue for me to stand up and leave the table or away from my computer. although this is not the case for other people, especially hardcore gamblers. losing their capital is not enough reason and even winning isn't as well. it may even move them to gamble more. there's really not anything we can do much for gamblers like this as it needs to start within themselves.
1700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there a trick dice? on: December 25, 2016, 12:45:37 PM
I am playing dice games for 7 months and i found some dice tricks but it only last on 1-2 days after i found out. After that days the tricks I found will not ve successful if i use it again.
Today im not hoping for a new dice tricks , I am playing dice game manually now and Im a bit happy that im better playing manually than with tricks
I bet that you just got lucky at that time. People like to fantasize the idea that there's a trick on dice or any other gambling games even though there isn't any. You should be thankful that you found a "trick" and you should took advantage of it. Be grateful with the profit that you made out of that and then that's it. If in the next day it's not working anymore, then maybe the admin has already fixed it although I really think that you just got lucky at those time.

Manual betting is really much better than these autobetting scripts/tricks because it gives you the time to think of your next move instead of just betting continuously.

yeah that most probably is just coincidence that you found a trick that worked for 2 days. dice really whichever way you look at it is plain game of luck. of course online dice i think can be manipulated that's why i agree that manual betting is still better except if you're on the side of the one manipulating the roll. though i believe the only thing you have to think about here when playing dice is how much you're willing to lose every roll
