1681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is XLM so out of flavour? on: June 28, 2019, 01:10:28 PM
Stellar Lumens (XLM) is indeed a good Blockchain project. And it was altready prove its existence and place in the crypto-space wayback 2017-2018 Bullrun. So no need to question about Stellar Lumens capability. Its true that Bitcoin price rally has a significant effect in the market. But its not yet strong enough to drive all Alts to the top patience is a virtue so we must wait till it come soon.

Stellar has been in the shadow of Ethereum. It's exchange never got a good traffic as there are not many stellar based tokens to trade with. Single blockchain exchanges would never succeed. Stellar though better than Ethereum in many ways, is still complicated for most of the developers.
1682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cash out after having investment trippled in bitcoin! on: June 28, 2019, 02:21:07 AM
Anyone buying bitcoin in the first quarter of 2019 made a x3 profit within 4 months. And it's a very wise decision to cashout. As we've seen bitcoin rise and fall, even if it rises to say 50K, it would at least fall back to 40K. That's talking about possibilities but it may also again fall to 4K. So, cashing out your profit is never a bad decision.
1683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Grand Theft Crypto: The State of Crypto-Stealing Malware & Other Techniques on: June 28, 2019, 02:14:40 AM
A recent report developed by cryptocurrency intelligence firm Ciphertrace estimated losses from theft and scams in the first quarter at $356 million with additional fraud losses of $851 million totaling $1.2 billion in total loss. Alongside the report came a study recognizing how the attacks were coming seeing an increase in malware and ransomware attacks.

A few other noticeable ways funds are being taken are through clipboard hijacking, website clones and social engineering. While it makes me positive to know we've figured out ways scammers can creep in - do you think the tech will be strong enough to avoid these?

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/grand-theft-crypto-state-cryptocurrency-053700942.html

Clipboard hijacking, website clones and social engineering would never stop unless everyone becomes aware of such activities and takes precaution to stop them from happening.
If people are losing money due to their unsafe and haphazard browsing habit, no one is going to sympathize on them.
1684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Crypto - What are your thoughts? on: June 28, 2019, 01:10:50 AM
I went through this project a month ago. It has nothing special though I loved the social mobile mining concept, it's a small team and would be really difficult for them to achieve anything. The competition is tough and people are not providing anyone investments without a second thought.
1685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you trust FB with your KYC details? on: June 28, 2019, 01:08:56 AM
I wouldn't. I don't think this coin will succeed! What do you think?

Facebook already knows where we live, who we hang out with, what we do for living, how we spend our weekend and nearly everything about our personal life.
If they to reveal they may have our deepest secrets. We all trust facebook in all these than why would providing them with our documents be difficult?
1686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why drop in price when listed on exchange market? on: June 26, 2019, 02:50:13 AM
This as been a question running through my mind always. All ICOs have their ICO price and sales price.  The ICO price is usually lesser than the market price (that is why people invest to make profit when its listed).
But this days when coin is listed the price drop drastically much more than ICO price which left the investors of no profit.
What could cause this drop when listed?
Let's hear our own though please.

There are several reasons for such drop. The most significant is due to the project being a total scam or the project doing nothing according to their roadmap.
Many project collects money to do this and that but most of them end up being spent by the team members on luxurious lifestyle and bringing up inferior product that fails and so does the price of token.
1687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin lead to Alternate coins ? on: June 26, 2019, 02:48:13 AM
Well, what is certain is that when the price of Bitcoin falls, it will be followed by a fall in the price of Bitcoin, but the question is why prices tend to decline when the price of Bitcoin rises all because the dominance given by altcoin is still small so the trading volume is also small. it happens at altcoin too, but if the dominance of Bitcoin rises quickly then the altcoin price can be sure to place ATH or the bull season arrived.

Bitcoin is about to reach the threshold of slowing down and falling and that time will be the time when capital flow will flows into Altcoin

This hasn't been the case for recent falls. When the price of bitcoin falls, people prefer to hold that money in fiat equivalent than a crypto so they could buy back bitcoin when it reaches the bottom. Thus they starts buying stablecoins. Though we may consider stablecoin as an altcoin but they have no increase and value and hence bitcoin's dominance keeps on rising.
1688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The three biggest mistakes you should avoid on: June 26, 2019, 01:06:28 AM

  • Panic Buy/Panic sell.
In both cases, you will lose your money
  • Ignore Capital management.
If you ignore Capital management you will be gambler not trader
  • Following a signal Without risk assessment or stop loss.
You will be like Jumping into the ocean without a lifeline jacket at, before do anything, look at your risk and reward and what your stop level is.
by this way you can set Your Own risk and know what you do.

Good suggestions for a trader. Trading is all about buying in the right time and selling in the right. Selling might not be always in your hands but buying would always be. Be careful while buying and place the sell orders accordingly.
1689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra the new crypto king on: June 23, 2019, 06:01:10 PM
Well, while looking at all the logos from the picture, it does sound like the new crypto King.
Actually, not only the new crypto king. But the new money king.
Banks and institutions should be scared. This thing will be huge.

Correct. Libra is not just another crypto. It's much more than anything the crypto world has ever seen. Cryptocurrency are fighting everyday for recognition while Libra will come forward with a wide acceptance and support. It would soon reign over crypto market.
1690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Cricket World Cup - Discussion & Analysis on: June 23, 2019, 05:24:24 PM
Pakistan had their first large win but they are already out of the competition, don't know about the mathematical probability but there's no way for Pakistan to reach Semis from here. Neither do South Africa. Sri Lanka with 2 abandoned games is in better position than Bangladesh and Pakistan but till the end, we'd find out who the number 5 is.
1691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season is not here yet. on: June 23, 2019, 05:20:11 PM
For altcoins to start surging in price bitcoin is always the one to take the lead first ,altcoin season is not here yet so let's stop complaining ,wait patiently for altcoin season to return if not then don't bother investing in altcoins and go for bitcoin full time

Altcoins have selectively increased in the past and so would they in the future. The bull trend takes place in bitcoin and other coins follow it to some extent. But when the market decreases, altcoins are affected larger than bitcoin. The only way to get benefit from altcoin is to find the coin that would moon without the influence of the market trend.
1692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Loosing my mind as a bounty/airdrop hunter on: June 21, 2019, 04:11:32 PM
ICO meant free money as they raised any amount they desired for any project but today it's difficult for even the legit project to reach their softcap.
That's why many project just ignore the bounty participants in order to make better profit.
That's why I always prefer the projects that pays in bitcoin than any other tokens.
1693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Cricket World Cup - Discussion & Analysis on: June 21, 2019, 03:37:26 AM
I am not sure why everyone is praising Bangladesh. They have so far conceded two scores in excess of 380 in this tournament (386 against England and 381 against Australia). They might have scored some runs, but on all the occasions, they did that when the opponent had put up a huge score and was more relaxed about bowling. They did managed to beat both West Indies and South Africa, but we need to remember that these two teams were sliding down continuously for the past decade or so.

The good thing about Bangladesh compare to other teams is their consistent performance. They have performed well on every matches with both bats and balls.
If their game against Sri Lanka, they could have chances of reaching the semi finals. They are definitely the 5th team for this world cup.
1694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: if btc drops... on: June 21, 2019, 02:50:26 AM
Bitcoin has risen at a better rate than of altcoins. So, if bitcoin drops, altcoins would also drop but in lesser rate than bitcoin.
Previously, when the price of bitcoin started dropping, it would have gone into another crypto bringing up its prices but with the emergence of stable coins, people would jump to stable coins if prices starts to decrease. Hence, increasing the rate of drop.
1695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is Tether.to/USDT? on: June 21, 2019, 02:47:01 AM
It's in the top 10 by marketcap for a reason. Tether is the first of widely recognized stable coin. There were many others but they were either low in volume or were not able to retain the fixed value while Tether became the first to successfully convince people of its stability. And it's the only stable coin you could find in almost all exchanges.
1696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Ripple Is Hated By Crypto Community? on: June 21, 2019, 02:38:02 AM
My version is such that a lot of people don't like XRP because this coin is used by banks all over the world, maybe I'm wrong

Yes you are wrong. NO banks around the world uses XRP. They did have some deal with a few banks to try Ripple as mode of interbank transfer but that never went forward rather than some pilot period. No large banks are even interested in Ripple and they are purely just an speculative tokens.
1697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Someone opened up a Tor Litecoin Market Forum on: June 21, 2019, 02:32:10 AM

LOL. Cool name for the marketplace. Who won't love cannabis candies?
Glad to see Litecoin being accepted by different merchants around the world. Litecoin is once again gaining momentum after the price hike this year.
1698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Libra's chief says, Libra is not a threat to bitcoin on: June 21, 2019, 01:28:22 AM
David Marcus, the head of Facebook's cryptocurrency Libra twitted,
Quote
Many want to pit Libra vs. Bitcoin. In my mind these two are not in the same category. BTC is a decorrelated (investment) asset. Libra is designed to be a stable medium-of-exchange. I have been, and remain a fan of BTC, but for very different purposes.

The former president of Paypal stressed that Libra is a better digital cash and payment system, while bitcoin is a long-term investment vehicle.

1699  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't share your best email or KYC with every bounty or airdrop!!! on: June 21, 2019, 01:00:00 AM
I'd use disposable emails while signing up with airdrops and have a different myetherwallet wallet to provide for ERC20 address. Though when they ask for social media, I need to provide them the real one as I don't have set up any fake accounts.
1700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trade on Latoken on: June 21, 2019, 12:56:10 AM
I am interested in trading in Latoken, a few weeks ago I was invited by friends to trade in Latoken, so far I have gained new experiences with a few coins and got a little profit.
I want to share my experiences here and make sure that Latoken is safe, is my decision right?

LAtoken is a nice looking exchange but they had some user issues recently. There have been people being scammed from the exchange itself and they are said to be hosting scam IEO for a share in the money raised. You should be cautious before using that exchange.
