1681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ERC20 gives birth to too many shitcoins on: July 03, 2019, 11:44:54 PM
If we start counting all useless tokens in crypto space you will notice that most of this useless tokens are running on erc20 block chain ,many good altcoins ive came across have separate owned block chain and they are plain better, I guess the reason we have too many shit altcoins in crypto space is because of the flexibility of erc20 ,making it easy for unprofessionals to build there useless tokens.
ETH create their smart contract scheme to help new project owners or teams to achieved their goals and just because there's a lot of shitcoin on ERC20 doesn't mean ETH is to blame.
Mind you, there will always be people who will abuse the benefit of cryptocurrency.

We have some good altcoins that are running on erc20 but you will see then moving to their own block chain later on or it will be included in  their roadmap about the future swap.
You simply can't decide what to do for every ERC20 team running on ETH and the last time I check there are some token owner/team who are not planning to create their own Blockchain.

The reason why I like tron block chain is the ability to get rid of fake tokens running on tron blockchain if ethereum can do this it will help a lot.
Tron only achieved such reputation cause it not widely used by a lot of new project owner while ETH is and Tron have to do something which will woo some project owner which what just caught your attention.
It business strategy buddy.

Interesting part it was made on a trustless setup,
unlike PIVX
I'm a bit too ignorant about technicals to understand the first part of that statement, but I've been staking PIVX for a while now and it's been great so far.  I'm not sure how innovative the coin OP is talking about, but I do know the altcoin market is pretty damn saturated to say the least.  Any new coin coming to market right now would have to have some serious advantages over everything else that's out there.

Also, OP sounds like he's just trying to pump up his pet coin.  I've never heard of it before, and I'll bet I'll never hear of it again.  But hey, best of luck.
The OP is definitely trying to pump his pet coin but the coin in subject is not a new coin cause it have in existence for about 2 and half years but it had a scam issue where some of the team scammed people then and I heard the CEO have sacked the people involved. But, I never try out the coin ever since the previous scenario.

privacy in the future will be a scarce commodity
That much is true, and it's already becoming scarce in many ways, not just in cryptocurrency.
Speaking of privacy to be scarce in the future. There's a huge possible that all privacy coins may not survive in the future cause the governments won't support every privacy coins and that's if we want cryptocurrency to go mainstream. Besides, I think that's the reason why Mark (facebook CEO) and team choose Libra coin to be centralized.
1684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Police Seize $1.5 Million in FIFA Gambling Crackdown on: July 02, 2019, 07:35:57 AM
I guess it is never too little, you get 1.5 million here and 1.5 million there and suddenly people stop gambling in illegal places.

A crackdown of 1.5 million dollars is not 1.5 million dollars, its all future bets as well, all the potential customers lost as well, a person that could have made tens of millions of dollars via running illegal gambling suddenly lost all of that in a crackdown.

However, most of the time these places pay the cops so they stay away from them, there are tons of this all around the world and they all have someone in the police world they know and pay to make them go away, if you deny to pay them then this happens and you lose your business. If you want to keep doing this you just have to pay the right people and since you make enough money then you can afford it as well.
You definitely make a good point and your statement explained the possible reason why the alleged fund which was said to be over 1 billion turns out to be 1.5 million were recovered. But, sooner or later the reason why the fund recovered was incomplete will come to light.
1685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Protect yourself from Excitement and keep your Winnings Safe on: July 01, 2019, 09:10:53 PM
I know what you talking about here, and let me tell you sometimes it's really hard to resist the feeling of excitement when we're in winning streak. There are just one way to keep your winnings safe, it`s to stand up and leave when you win amount you are satisfied with. Don`t set up some high goals, making maximum 50% of your amount is not a high goal, x2 and higher is a high goal, to be clear on that.

For me it's okay to set up high goals as long as it's doable.
I'm using just a simple technique, which is to stop when I hit the target and we need discipline and focus in order to do that effectively.
There's no room for greedy people in gambling as we will never be successful if we have that kind of bad attitude.
Honestly, it really hard to resist the excitement feelings when luck is on ones side when gambling, setting an actual target either is also not what ones needed in such state because the game could change anytime but what's needed is not to be greed, been discipline and listen to your heart when it said to let go or else the target technique will fail you.

1688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman on July 20 on: June 27, 2019, 01:34:35 PM
Another challenging fight for Manny since Amir also have a good name from this game but that's still far and this coming event is more important, Manny needs to play hard to win against this young Thurman, speed will be the focus knowing that Thurman is more younger than him he should condition his stamina to stay with him and to keep the fight running till the last round of possible.

The Thurman fight is going to be extremely challenging for Manny, since his opponent is at his peak. On the other hand, Amir Khan is a shadow of his former self. He lost to Terence Crawford last month, and his performance was rated below par by most of the experts. Next month he is having a fight against Neeraj Goyat. I am not sure about the outcome of that fight (vs Neeraj), but for sure Manny will be the favorite to win against Khan if this fight happens.
The last time I checked Amir Khan fight against Manny will happen November 6 and I think it too early for us to discuss or make any prediction now for Khan seems to be waiting for such clash between himself and Manny. Therefore, rating Khan rating due to his previous fight won't provide the right prediction.

Nah, Amir Khan should wait for the outcome of the fight. But he said he wish Manny should win so that they could set up the fight.
He wishes Manny should win cause he wants Manny to be in his best because Manny was a big opponent for him which will make him reassure of his physical and mental strength status in the ring.

Nah, Amir Khan should wait for the outcome of the fight. But he said he wish Manny should win so that they could set up the fight. However, I think Amir should just concentrate on Kell Brook, it will bring more money as those two are local 'enemies'. Just like Marco Antonio Barrera and Erik Morales. But I don't know who is stalling the fight though.

Anyways, Amir Khan is already on the down spiral of his career and I doubt that Manny will give him a chance, he is more shot that Manny and it could be a mismatch, just saying.
Khan is already a wash up fighter, he just want to fight Manny to have a big paycheck prior to him retiring. Manny is immune to this trash talk, maybe what's get his ire is the way Manny Thurman disrespect him legacy specially about 'retiring him'. Anyways, has anyone got some update on the said injury of Pacman?
Yes, he is a wash up fighter but to be honest must of the boxer of this days dont give us a real fight like in the time of Ali, Tyson etc because they all after the money involved. However, there's chance that Khan might not fight against Manny if his fight against Neeraj Goyat dont go well cause he said he may retire if he does not feel good when facing Neeraj Goyat.
1689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Protect yourself from Excitement and keep your Winnings Safe on: June 26, 2019, 07:51:57 PM
Two vital reason mostly fails the gamblers. They are greediness and panicking, simply if you control your emotion and
You're somehow right but the main reason why most gambler failed was because of their indiscipline and not letting go act which literally lead to the greed, emotion imbalance, panicking etc.

invest in gambling site very few in numbers. You will be able to keep your fund safe.
There are different between investing in gambling site and play game of chance. But investing in gambling site bankroll is nice
1690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is best practice for gambling?? on: June 26, 2019, 05:08:54 PM
Best practice is to know your limit. Think why you want to gamble, is it for fun or to earn some? If the latter is the reason better stop and dont even try.

There are gambling sites offering faucets for beginners, you can start with that amount if you just want to entertain yourself.

Its also important to choose a reputed site, read some reviews to make sure your money is safe for deposit/withdrawal.
I also think that setting limits is a good practice for every gambler. It will save your bankroll from total devastation for sure. The other good advice is to choose only a certified sites with a good reputation and feedbacks.
Gambler setting limit is good but how about a situation where the gambler is indiscipline and couldn't maintain the limit he set?
The first things a newbie like the OP should know about gambling are the basic rules and regulation of the game, find the key to control his emotion through the act of been discipline then we can talk about setting a limit.

1694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Do Crypto Enthusiasts Hate Facebook Coin? on: June 25, 2019, 03:17:36 PM
I understand that Libra coin is "centralized", but so is XRP...How can you love XRP, but hate Libra coin?
You get it all wrong here buddy for no genuine crypto enthusiasts like every cryptocurrency that's decentralized in nature and XRP was supported by the private companies with the institutions which you should have already know through it price movement.

I don't support or like FB, but this is a giant step towards mainstream adoption. This is a HUGE turning point for this community. If you read the article linked below, you can see how many ppl despise this coin. They think that this is "bad" for the community, but in actuality this is a giant step towards mainstream adoption/acceptance.

https://tipestry.com/topics/5d11121313fe3c5fa63e0ffd/zuckbucks-are-bullshit
You're right Facebook coin (Libra) could be a giant step for cryptocurrency been the mainstream of payment since a couple of institutions are already understanding the benefit of crypto which is why I slightly support facebook coin.

1699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell All Altcoins For Bitcoin? on: June 21, 2019, 11:51:30 PM
If promising altcoins, then they can also make a good profit. If we look, today the altcoins have come to life a little. Maybe finally, they too begin their growth.
It is true, therefore it's not wise to go all in with bitcoin.
Bitcoin although the most popular in the market, it gained lots of attention and it will be pump first when the market is good, however, altcoins with great potential, you will probably make good profit when time comes it will pump.

Altcoins like XRP, BNB, and ETH, already made a good return to its investors before it fall down, and even now price is still attractive as it grows after it dip cause by the long bearish run.
The act of putting ones eggs in one basket as they said is definitely a bad act of investment because cryptocurrency market is full of surprise and ones invest in various cryptocurrencies (at least 3) is quite a good decision but adding XRP to your portfolio seems unprofessional to me.
1700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I will try to convert $2000 into $10000 ! on: June 21, 2019, 07:53:05 PM
ltc order got filled but no follow through, unlucky. The 0.1 btc (1000$) is now worth 1058$ and I have set a stop loss at 9642$ on Binance. My litecoins are now worth 976$

Current balance: 2034$
I think the reason why you make those loses was because you focus much in turning the $2000 into $10000 and the chance you have is to invest 80% into BTC and 20% into BNB since majority of crypto traders trust the exchange due to their previous record. However, after Charlie sold his LTC holding back then, I never trust LTC ever since then.
