1681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When is the next altcoin season? on: April 09, 2023, 02:49:02 PM
I think the altcoins season has started now, since the beginning of 2023 the price of bitcoin has begun to stabilize increase, and altcoins prices have slowly followed this increase, indeed it has decreased several times, but if you look at the chart at the beginning of the year, altcoins are still increasing, so this is a good time to invest
The old seasons of rise will not come back but expecting a specific altcoin to rise with this is questionable. Since the majority of the altcoins are reeling under after the long crypto winter, it is difficult to predict when they are coming back in action. This goes out specifically for shitcoins and tokens which are often having a smaller userbase than the legacy altcoins like Doge, Litecoin, Ethereum.

Even then it is possible they will recover at the break even price, but tough to say and the holding period gets increasingly painful for the investor forcing them to just sell at the loss and move on.
1682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Going to Bitcoin events on: April 09, 2023, 02:44:37 PM
As far as I know all projects have their own secrets.  How is it possible to assert so strongly that all the projects discussed will later become ill-known?
Thats what experience has taught me, the older users of this forum have all invested somewhere sometime in some altcoins and they have only lead to a deprecation of the asset in the long term instead of going up, unlike what an investor would expect. They did spend time to hold and be patient about it but the project either shut itself off or ghosted its investors. In any crypto related event you can find these altcoins showing off their new product and their token or coin, but be assured that it would never be the next bitcoin.

It's just an event and if you don't dare to go, it makes no sense to expect bitcoin to become ubiquitous and become a means of payment globally. Because then you will be using bitcoin all the time and everyone knows your identity. Privacy is lost as bitcoin becomes ubiquitous and is used every day.
An event does not change the public adoption, most people go there to have the free lunch or meet with some potential investors to get money. How you use bitcoin and protect your identity is your own choice and it can be done if you are clever enough.
1683  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as wealth. on: April 07, 2023, 09:45:07 AM
In cryptocurrency people can get maximum returns but for them it is crucial to understand each and everything about it. It does not mean that by just engaging you will get what you desires but the actual things which matters are the understanding.
They just need to understand how to keep money safe in the form of crypto and what measures to take in order to not accidentally getting scammed. After that just buy and sell high, how hard can that be? Actually it is tough that is why people lose more than they make in trading.

Quote
Trading of cryptocurrency is more acceptable than physical money because physical money is not as much higher as that money which is offered through cryptocurrency trading. Trading can be a source of wealth but it can also be a source of poverty because of losing money due to your mistakes in trading field.
Physical currency not being high is a temporary thing that can change, should not be the reason for crypto trading. Today USD is lower than bitcoin, but the average person gets paid in fiat not bitcoin - so for them 1BTC is a huge amount usually not affordable in a single salary payout.

Trading is not for everyone though, those who end up losing money even after playing it safe are doing something wrong and if they are unable to identify it they should move away from trading.
1684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Doge worth investing? on: April 07, 2023, 09:33:08 AM
Doge can become big in a long term outlook but there is no guarantee that it will be this big after so many years, so I cant suggest any amount or period to buy in. Another celeb might come in and make it rise like anything but the real long term value is still limited.

It has a brand name because of being a "bronze" to bitcoin with litecoin being the "silver" but today its use in commercial places is limited but has a good userbase to look for support in.

You should buy in if you are feeling lucky and have the patience to keep that money trashed away for years to come hoping for a 10x gain.
1685  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I still believe I am on the right path on: April 07, 2023, 09:29:40 AM
They won't regret it because, as you said, no one could have predicted Bitcoin hitting $50k, and I bet not even Satoshi could have guessed it. So there is no regret, as long as they have made a profit from their bitcoin investment and are satisfied with their decision. I once sold bitcoin for 20k, and I made a huge profit, I don't regret it.
Predicting bitcoin to be 59k USD is one thing but holding on to that from a very low buying price, say three digit is another thing. Most people cant see it through unless they have the patience and a second source of income to keep all the bitcoin intact for years without selling a single satoshi.

Just keeping the cycle going on your portfolio is the real thing, with that you can forget about what is happening in the world and continue to increase the total amount of bitcoin in your hold.

Dont fall for the altcoins roaming around everywhere, they will only lead to small term gains and you will have to suffer the deeper losses when they drop.
1686  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading is perfect work for jobless peoples on: April 06, 2023, 04:54:04 PM
In life there are many peoples wants freedom and this is available in day training and not any restrictions that whenever and wherever you want to doing work
Day trading without a day job at hand is like running a motorcycle without having insurance. Your day job is your daily "stable" income, there can be no alternative to that. Day trading will never be a stable income but a up and down cycle, sometimes earning big amounts and sometimes incurring losses.

If you think what you said is correct, there would not be no work-frustrated person in the world and everyone would be trading and become rich.

Quote
If we thing about that are in enjoying with your family there you are also allow to work as well and also enjoy
Day trading draws a lot of your time and effort from you. You would be spending more time analyzing charts for daily trades than spending with your family. Not sure where you are getting the wrong idea.

Also freedom from your Boss.
You might hate your boss but trying being the boss for one day and you will realize how tough it is.

I choose 0  since no one has taken that yet.

My proposition is if I win, distribute the winning amount to everyone who took part in this raffle proportionately.

1688  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Early Profit can be misleading. on: April 06, 2023, 06:41:57 AM
Trading is indeed a unique thing because initial profits cannot guarantee whether it will continue to be profitable, I have invested in a lot of altcins and at first it looked promising, but after I held it longer what happened was the opposite because almost 99% of assets were lost because their value was worthless.
Sorry to hear that, most altcoins are like that only and you have to move away from them. Dont invest any more in them but focus on bitcoin. Use the rest of the money to invest in stuff other than cryptocurrencies like stocks, commodities and other traditional assets. You will get better returns there than from altcoins.

Of course no profit is every guaranteed, you will face ups and downs in every sector but you have to weigh how much risk you can sustain vs rewards.

I am certain that every person here can profit if they do things like risk management properly.
1689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects come out when bull market begin. on: April 06, 2023, 06:07:54 AM
yes, of course the developer will determine the right time to build and release their project, because of that, releasing a project during a bear market will be very detrimental, when it's a bear market, investor interest will also decrease, therefore a bull market is the right time
The bear market means less investors - or better to say less victims to scam on, because these projects will always get the investors to waste money on them while they deliver nothing. Some people want to take the risks so its fun for them, eventually the fun runs out when their plan backfires and the team ghosts without any signs of shutting down, abruptly.

Hence it is wrong to bet on the new projects or when they will come out. They will be the source of frustration in a budding trader's life, just like casual relations are the downfall of the current generation. Tongue
1690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do new online casinos struggle? on: April 05, 2023, 08:33:30 AM
It is just like starting a new business mate. You don't see people go to every new shop that opens but sells the same thing, do you?

That is why they start promotional content and giveaways in order to draw out the crowds, a marketing that is necessary to kickstart a new casino. I think bringing in celebs to do some promo talk and giving out some free coins is a new mode of advertising than the older method of banner ads.

Nowadays influencer marketing is also very popular since they cater to a lot of people who gamble.

For the owners this is a big headache but once you get into the flow you will grow your own userbase and they will bring in more members though affiliate or word of mouth.
1691  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to convince a sceptical person to buy Bitcoin ? on: April 05, 2023, 08:30:43 AM
Tell them that Bitcoin is censorship resistant and decentralised. It's total supply is limited and hence it has a deflationary growth of price making it a good long term investment. Show how it is sent and emphasize on the ease of sending and the lack of paperwork or searching names for that.

Even then you will not be able to recruit every person into bitcoin and you should not try that either. You will end up being blamed for their losses and they will hunt you down. If they show interest on their own, only then guide them.
1692  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is Bitcoin always affected on: April 05, 2023, 08:23:08 AM
because bitcoin is a digital investment and it is part of the economy in the form of digital gold, and is bought on the market, the effect of the news itself greatly affects the value of btc itself where btc still has a small market scope so it is easy to shake with negative news, but negative news also occurs in other investment stocks, not only in bitcoin,
They also drop or rise as per news on the market. These is perpetuated by the weak hands who have loose faith in the asset and are only here for the short term gains, not the long term profits. The same picture is seen in Bitcoin traders and here is lack of faith is even more prominent because of pseudo-anonymity that Bitcoin provides.

We could see this occur if you observe the market well but we should use it to our advantage in order to buy at low prices.
1693  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading with stock on: April 04, 2023, 10:28:31 AM
There are many peoples who getting risk in market bust many peoples are walk away because there is some reasons they not know about potential
Most people throw there money because they didn't have and basic skills. If they give some time to learn about that then can be success.
It is about a lot of things not just basic skills but also how you apply them, your previous experience and timing. People lose money due to some common mistakes like not analyzing the price charts and buying at the wrong time on the wrong asset.

Dummy trading can teach a lot of skills to those who are new to this. But after a while I have realized that trading is not for everyone - you need to start accepting this. Even long term holding is not for everyone which seems to be the safest type of spot trading. For them even years of experience teaches nothing and they keep making mistakes.

For someone who is starting try learning how to trade and do dummy trading on paper.
1694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best time to gamble on: April 04, 2023, 10:15:13 AM
You gamble when you are having money at hand to burn.

You dont gamble to clear your boredom - that is a sign of mental problem and a you should focus more on hobbies. Hobbies will help you with boredom because gambling started in that manner leads to addiction more easily.

You should not gamble to run away from problems at hand, it shows you are become irresponsible about your actions.

Gamble only as a mode of having fun. The time of the day does not matter. If you talk about making friend on the troll box then that is a different thing, because people stay there for hours after having busted their coins.
1695  Economy / Economics / Re: How to increase capital investment on: April 04, 2023, 10:03:01 AM
In my opinion, the easy thing that can be done to increase investment is to raise capital from third parties, we can value the business that we are running, then use a stock strategy, and sell about 35% to the public, of course, we need accurate calculations when we want to share it in shares.
Going public is one method to increase the capital, but it is a difficult course to take for a small cap company. A large cap on will go down the stock path anyway.

But the important thing is to reinvest existing capital into the company to grow its capital once it profits. This takes time and is a continuous process, giving out stocks and going into a public IPO and all are also a long term thought. Basically there methods but they are not get rich quick things.

Borrowing can be a temporary solution but debts keep getting piled on each other and then become difficult to clear.
1696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How honest and transparent are casinos? on: April 03, 2023, 06:54:36 AM
Old and reputed casinos would never scam you, they can but the chance is very tiny, considering their presence and their userbase who support them. You don't want that support group to turn to a mob.

These things are difficult to verify on your own so it might seem like a suspicious thing from one side. Best to not use that casino for your mental peace. Question is whether you are going to investigate that yourself or just let the casino do as it pleases?

But I can say that there are programmers who verify alogrithm and all to mark those casinos as legit from this forum.
1697  Economy / Economics / Re: Is some certain lifestyle a waste of money and time ? on: April 03, 2023, 06:50:07 AM
Sometimes there are people who always think about lifestyle, they want to look more dynamic and follow the trend, of course this is tiring because it makes us have to waste money and time, it's better to live in moderation and moderation so you never think about other people's lifestyles.
Moderation is the key word here. You would want to dress in good clothes because it gives you confidence and puts you out in a social circle. This has impacts on you if you are businessman or trying to set up connections. But over doing this is a waste.

Again spending on luxury items once a while is a good thing, but repeating it without necessity is wrong.

Henc it all comes down to moderation. That lifestyle problem is given to those  who cannot moderate. It becomes an important part of savings of you can and therefore should not be ignored.
1698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Going to Bitcoin events on: April 03, 2023, 06:46:45 AM
Since bitcoin has some privacy issues in its ownership and owners are often targeted, if you ever visit such a conference don't reveal your forum names or anything that can link you back here.

Otherwise if you are in for some free lunch then good for you. Most of the projects that will be talked about there will turn crap in a year or two. Rarely discussion on Bitcoin occur, which can be helpful.

Don't bother going to a different country just to attend them. Rather visit them if happening in your city.
1699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I still believe I am on the right path on: April 03, 2023, 06:43:36 AM
@kryptqnick Don't regret about not being an early adopter. Most of are not but that does not stop us from investing every time the price drops. This is because we have our faith in this asset and we want it to go up based on our past experience. If one can continue to do this cycling of low and high they can be ever more profitable than an early adopter because many of them sold at loss or highs.

Be realistic and buy at the drop, don't listen to what others say but only trust the future of this coin which is good since it is deflationary and censorship resistant.
1700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are about to enter altcoin season, what do you think? on: April 02, 2023, 08:07:46 AM
Most people commenting here are themselves craving for the altcoin season to start and thus affirming their own bubble. In true sense nobody actually know when it will happen and hence the waiting game continues. Bitcoin in the meantime has performed well through the economics downsides and have given profits to its loyal holders if they sold at 29k USD after buying at 19k USD.

Please do limit your altcoin bags to a bare minimum because their future is never seems to be promising and they only lead to burnout and frustration.
