I have heard same thing in the past Bitcoin is illegal in India, but some sites say it is Legal. Now I just seen on Wikipedia from above link that Bitcoin is Legal in India.

Currently the price is too good for investment, however you need to know more information for trading without loss. Long term is always good, but we need to pay Debts, and for our lifestyle etc.
